In Svetlana Heertlov’s “Summer Collection” the whites of all the models’ eyes were pink. I like the look and want to copy it, how did they do it?

When Svetlana Heertlov previewed her Summer Collection a lot of people in the fashion industry (including Tween Magazine’s fashion consultant P. Ed O’Phile) were asking how they did it as well. As you may have heard supermodel Hannah Maitland (she was the pale skinned woman with the short white hair, wearing the bright blue backless gown in the show) had “colored eye injections” (done by an optical surgeon for some $65,000): like a tattoo this is a “permanent” body modification…we don’t recommend going this route.

The remainder of the models achieved the look temporarily using a much less costly treatment. Each of them wore a “bukkake mask” (essentially snorkeling goggles without the lens) filled with a protein-saline solution for fifteen minutes a few hours before the show.

We have to remind you that smoking is a lifelong and life altering decision. Ultimately the decision to start smoking is one only you can make.

That said, there isn’t any one particular type of cigarette that is designed for kids. We asked staff members who began smoking before they turned ten what type of cigarettes they started with and what their recommendations would be. Consensus was to start with a very mild cigarette like ‘Draggin Cutiepies,’ with the spiral vented filter (that’s the white pack). Once you get used to smoking you can move on to something a bit stronger like ‘Draggin Cutiepies’ standard filter (the pink pack). If you really enjoy smoking there are cigarettes that are much stronger like ‘Babes Super-Ultimate filterless.’

All the fashion advice I’ve seen says “don’t wear socks.” Whenever I go without socks the inside of my shoes get totally slippery. Is this normal…what can I do about it?

The problem you have is quite common; particularly when wearing closed shoes (as opposed to sandals). It gets worse if the inside of the shoes are smooth and made of synthetic materials (like vinyl). Wearing shoes made of genuine leather will reduce the slipperiness somewhat, unfortunately all-leather shoes can be difficult to find and are on the pricy side. More cost effective solutions include: putting talcum powder on your feet and using suede insoles.

Yes there is a trick to walking in high heels: practice. The more you wear them, the better you’ll get at walking in them. Once you’ve walked around in them for fifty or sixty hours, you won’t have to worry about falling down.
