If this were a true work of art, this statement would be a parody of such notes, instructing the teacher or parent about the appropriate grade levels and outcomes of using this as a reader for the children under their care. Perhaps there would be an earnest discussion about the choice of age-appropriate terms for sexual acts and body parts.

This material, however, is so subversive of conventional pedagogical and social attitudes that a different statement is required.

All readers of this material must realize that the work is intended purely for adult entertainment. To the author's knowledge, there does not exist a community or school district that would recommend its use with children. The social fabric does not tolerate the sexual behaviors portrayed in this book, and it would seriously confuse children for them to believe otherwise. While at some level it's not entirely conclusive that children are irreparably damaged by participating in sex acts at an early age, there are documented cases in which adult psychological problems apparently evolved from childhood sexual activity, particularly nonconsensual sexual abuse.

It is difficult and perhaps impossible for society to tolerate a limited degree of apparently consensual sex between children, or between children and adults. Thus, the sex acts portrayed here involving children are not intended to suggest real-life models of behavior. They are intended exclusively as entertainment for adults who find such things entertaining.
