Dulcinea
--[MF, Romance, Romantic Bondage]--

These "Feature" pages inspire a mixed reaction in me. On the one hand, I feel the joy of bringing truly great stories back to the public spotlight. On the other-hand there is a sadness, for, with a few exceptions, the feature pages contain works by authors who are no longer publishing. And yet there is still hope that one day SJR will return with another masterpiece or Taria will start writing stories again.

Some authors have passed beyond hope. Estragon, Wollenstonecraft, and many others have passed away -- their voices silenced by the absolute rule that for every beginning there is an end. Yet their stories live on to touch the lives of those who follow.

Dulcinea passed away in 1997. She leaves behind stories that have few peers -- a wonderful legacy passed down to story lovers everywhere.

"The wholesomeness and liveliness of her tales stood in marked contrast to the general style of ASS/M, and she will be sorely missed."

--Apuleius

"(The reason more people don't write stories like this is that it was written by one of the finest -- on some days I would say *the* finest -- writer on a.s.s.)"

-- Uther Pendragon
