Candaulism is a sexual practice or fantasy in which a man exposes his
wife to other men for his voyeuristic pleasure. The term is also applied to the practice of undressing or otherwise exposing
his wife to other men, and urging or forcing her to engage in sexual relations
with another man or indeed with many other men as he watches.
The term derives its name from Candaules, king of the ancient kingdom of Lydia from 735 to 718 BC, who was so proud of the beauty of his wife, and so much did he want to impress others, that he made a plot to show his unaware naked wife to his bodyguard, Gyges of Lydia.
Dr. Anil Aggrawal’s Forensic and Medico-legal Aspects of Sexual Crimes and Unusual Sexual Practices described candaulism as a "…variation of exhibitionism [where] persons do not exhibit themselves but their spouses – usually a male exhibiting his wife". Such a practice is widely regarded as a breach of implicitly placed trust by the woman in her husband. The term includes the practice of simple anonymous exhibitionism (with and without the wife's knowledge that she is seen naked) and also more coercive and brash conduct.
Some who are so sexually addicted to this prurient pleasure that they do not fear the consequences will coerce his reluctant wife to undress herself in front of men, ashamed and abashed though she may be, and he may further urge her or coerce her to engage in sexual acts with the men to whom she has been presented naked, while he watches. Like Candaules, the husband may watch his pathetic naked wife hidden in the shadows, or he may stand present, sharing her ambiguous emotions, and cravenly witness her abject humiliation and lewd subjugation. That is why candaulism is also psychiatrically considered a sadistic sexual perversion.
This is a series of stories on that theme. All of the stories are illustrated with pictures from the incidents. While these stories are "fiction" the pictures and events are based in fact.

Story Series #1: "Group Home"
This is a story based on experience, and honestly told; some details and names are fictionalized to obscure identities of real persons and events. The ages of most of the persons told in the story were technically legal ages of consent in the state of Minnesota (for that matter in almost all states at the time). While the sexual activities described here involve "teenagers," these boys were not preyed upon by anyone, or coerced in anyway. If anything, these " boys" were predators to my wife.
In 1972 I was 29 and my wife has just one month away from turning 21. My wife, Karen, was having trouble finding work and was unhappy, actually pretty depressed, and she found it hard to go out looking for work.
Story Series #2: "My First Marriage"
Based on another set of true incidents. A sad story of my first wife, age 19, seduced by her boss, the owner of a jewelry store, who had conived to present himself in a loveless marriage and expressed himself enamoured with her. She fell for it. But he is a deceitful con artist, just an old lecher with a good line, and he soon exploits her tenderness and naivete and persuades her to a reluctant surrender. Thence, he intices her into increasingly awkward and shameful behaviors, until she is exhibited to other men, his friends, and molested and humiliated by them. Ultimately on the pretext of his pledged love she is dupped into degrading sexual acts to which she was too crushed in spirit to refuse. It ended in our divorce because I could not accept her for what she was.

Story Series # 3: "Candualism"
Based on incidents before we had children. I had tolerated my wife's unlikely affair with a young man who was a closet-gay and had trouble fulfilling her sexually and so found unusual ways to excite himself and giving her pleasure. What she told me and pictures he showed me triggered in fantasies of wanting to see her naked and humiliated in front of men. She gave in to my ideas. She was unhappy about it and reluctant but she wanted me to be happy.

For Annie the introduction to her husband's sexual perversion was permission to pleasure she could not resist.

What happened when she was just fresh teenaged girl, visiting her cousin out in the country and invited to join his club of boys, would be a hidden vivid memory that I would revive accidently, and then, I admit, I exploited it.
