I have been playing with the use of colour - at first, black and white seemed right, a homage to the Boy's Own books. But now I'm beginning to think maybe it's too stark. So here's a colour illustration I tried out. Still very dark, I know; that's the nature of the stories. But I'd welcome your thoughts. What do you think? Please let me know.

And I can't tell you the story to go with this one, I havn't got the slightest idea how she got there, teetering on that high pedestal, presumably ready to entertain the gentlemen with her last short drop. If you have any idea, please tell me why (use the comments form on the welcome page).
