Submit a Story
LSR accepts story submissions from authors new and old. We generally post stories every two weeks, with submissions that are particularly well-written, erotic, and/or inventive more likely to end up on the site.5 Simple Requirements for Submissions
- All submissions must be the original work of the submitter or include permission from the original author.
- We only accept fictional, English stories with solely fictional characters.
- Stories should not include images, extreme violence, or snuff.
- At least one appropriate story code must be selected.
- You acknowledge on submitting that stories may be removed from LSR at any time for any reason, though we will always try to contact you first.
Story Codes
The most frequently encountered problem when submitting are those pesky story codes. They are vital for allowing readers to find your stories and indicating the content, so their requirement isn't meaningless. The 2005 comprehensive explanation of story codes, written by Uther Pendragon, remains the best resource for new authors despite its age. Our current story-posting system follows that structure though future iterations may include age-specific coding. If nothing else, ensure you use at least one of the following basic codes:
