A World Apart
Chapter 13: Beaches of Eden

In the morning Nathan meets up with the girls in the Eden lobby center.  As he walks over to them it becomes apparent he’s an absolute mess.  His clothes and hair are a mess and he has dark circles around his eyes with a lingering tired look.

“You look like crap…again” says Elisha.

Nathan rubs the back of his head nervously.  “Yeah well, I kinda stayed up a little too late last night.  I lost track of time when talking to Elwyn”

Elisha glares at him coldly.  “That’s not the only time though”

Nathan smiles weakly and walks off ahead.  “Let’s get going”

Jessica and Elisha turn to each other both looking rather concerned about him.

“He’s been staying up almost every night, even before Elwyn admitted she loved him…actually that just made it worse.  Maybe I, maybe…” says Jessica.

“I know, if he tries it again tonight I’ll talk to him.  I’ll set him straight” says Elisha.

Jessica smiles.  “Thanks”

Elisha shakes her head.  “Don’t worry, you’re not the only one worried about him”

A while later the three of them login and arrive in Elwyn’s house.  They quickly find her curled up on the couch busy reading a book.  Seeing them enter she sits her book down and stands up.

As she sees Nathan her face blushes.  “Hi”

Nathan’s face blushes and he rubs the back of his head nervously with his hand.  “H-hi”

Elisha leans over to Jessica and whispers.  “Tell me you saw that”

Jessica sighs.  “I saw it”

Elisha grins evilly.  “So Elwyn Nathan was telling me how much you enjoyed the sex yesterday”

Elwyn’s face turns beet red and she stares at Nathan in shock.  “YOU TOLD HER?”

Nathan puts a hand to his face and shakes his head.  “No, of course I didn’t.  You just did”

“I…ohh”.  Elwyn’s face turns pale as she quickly realizes she was tricked.

Elisha smirks.  “Sorry, I just wanted to be sure and figured you two would deny it”

“Yeah well it wasn’t exactly any of your business” says Nathan.

Elisha smiles brightly.  “I’m happy for you two”

Meanwhile next to her Jessica looks as if she’s brooding in a dark cloud of evil and sorrow.  “If you’re done embarrassing them maybe we can get going?”

“Not so fast”

Jessica turns to her looking confused.  “Huh?”

Elisha smirks.  “I was thinking we should take a break for once”

“A break from what?”

“Adventuring of course.  Let’s all go to the beach today”

“Huh?”.  Jessica stares at her blankly.

Elwyn smiles and nods.  “That’s a great idea”

“The beach?” asks Jessica.

Elisha leans over to Jessica and whispers in her ear.  “It’ll give you a chance to meet a nice guy”

Jessica stares at her with a cold expression.  “In Eden?”

Elisha smiles.  “Why not?  Besides when was the last time you went to the beach?”

Jessica sighs heavily still seeming depressed.  “Alright”

Elisha grins broadly.  “Great, you know there’s also another reason we’re going to the beach”

“There is?” asks Elwyn.

Elisha nods.  “I read on the forums there’s someone looking for bright pink coral in big quantities and you can find them in the ocean between all the other coral.  While we enjoy the beach we can look for them”

Jessica stares at Elisha not really seeming convinced.  “Just what’s so special about pink coral?”

Elisha shakes her head.  “Something about it being pet food for some pet”

“Well it sounds like a good idea.  We can enjoy ourselves and earn some money” says Nathan.

Elwyn nods.  “Sounds good”

“First things first though.  Let’s go buy some swimsuits” says Elisha.

A while later the four of them are all wearing swimsuits and standing on a glorious bright beach, despite that all four of them brought their weapons with them with the addition of the loot bag Elisha holds.  The beach itself has dozens of other people of all races walking about and enjoying themselves.  And it stretches for miles in either direction with trees lining the shoreline behind the sand.  Overhead the sky is brilliant blue with small pockets of clouds drifting by while gentle waves crash against the shore.

For swimsuits Nathan has a simple pair of blue shorts.  Jessica opted for a light green bikini with the addition of a small skirt like piece around her waist.  Elwyn picked out a white one piece swimsuit with most of the back open and a small round area on the front showing her belly.  Elisha however chose a skimpy white string bikini that could hardly be called a swimsuit due to its revealing nature especially on her crotch which is only a mere thin white spaghetti string.

Jessica stares at Elisha with a pale look.  “I really don’t know how you call that a swimsuit.  You really have no shame do you?”

Elisha grins.  “It’s sexy”

Nathan rubs the back of his head nervously with a hand.  “As I said before I really don’t think it covers enough.  Especially on the crotch”

Elisha grins back at him.

Elwyn ignores them and looks around at the people on the large beach.  “There’s a lot of people here”

“Well I checked the forum and they reckon this is the best place to find pink coral it also has a very large population of people” says Elisha.

Jessica glares at her.  “That’s because of what you mentioned earlier isn’t it?”

Elisha smirks at her.

Elwyn looks at them confused.  “What did you mention earlier?”

Elisha waves her hand in front of her.  “It’s not important.  Now I suggest we split up and start looking around for pink coral”

“Sorry to burst your bubble but their underwater right?  How are we supposed to hold our breath long enough to look for them?” asks Jessica.

Elisha grins and turns to Elwyn.

Elwyn turns pale as she gazes at her.  “Y-yeah, I know a water breathing spell”

“Great”

Elwyn puts on a serious expression as she looks at Elisha.  “I know I’m a mage but you shouldn’t assume I know this stuff”

“Don’t worry I also checked up a place to buy water breathing potions so in case you didn’t know a spell we could go there”

Elwyn motions her hands around in front of her and blue bubbles of energy appear in the air above each of their chests.  After hanging in the air for several moments the bubbles speed forward into their chests disappearing from sight.

“The magicka bubbles will sit in your lungs and windpipe.  All you need to do is just breath normally and they’ll pull air from the water” says Elwyn.

“How long will it last?” asks Nathan.

“I made it pretty potent so it should last at least two hours”

“How do you tell when it’s running out?  We just suddenly start drowning?” asks Jessica.

Elwyn shakes her head.  “When it’s almost run out you’ll feel a difference in the amount of air your getting so you’ll need to take deeper breaths.  At that point make sure you get to the surface otherwise if you stay underwater you will drown”

“Can we talk underwater?” asks Nathan.

Elwyn nods.  “Yeah but your voice will be dampened severely”

“Alright let’s split up into pairs to look for the coral” says Elisha.

“Elwyn and…” starts Nathan.

Elwyn quickly cuts him off.  “Sorry but I’d like some time to talk with Jess so if you don’t mind we’ll go together”

“Uh, sure”

Elisha grabs Nathan’s hand and drags him off.  “Come on lover boy.  You can get all gah gah over her later”

Elisha drags Nathan off to the water while Jessica and Elwyn start slowly walking along the beach.

“So…what exactly did you want to talk about?” asks Jessica.

Elwyn looks at the ground sadly.  “You hate me don’t you?”

Jessica sighs and shakes her head.  “No, that’s what makes it hard”

“Maybe its best if I break up with Nathan?”

Jessica turns to look at her in shock.  “What?  Why?”

“Then you two can get together.  Besides I’m not real”

Jessica smiles softly.  “Shame that wouldn’t do any good”

Elwyn looks at her confused.  “What do you mean?”

“It was made abundantly clear that he has no feelings of love what so ever towards me.  In his eyes I’m just a friend and that’s all I’ll ever be.  As for you to him you’re as real as me or Elisha”

Elwyn looks at her sadly.  “I’m sorry”

Jessica shakes her head.  “Don’t be.  You know I’ve liked him ever since the first time I met him.  I wonder if deep down I actually knew he really didn’t care for me in that way.  I guess I was just always hoping since he’s such a nice guy”

“I’m sure you’ll find someone who likes you”

“Yeah, but anyway I got my whole life to find someone so there’s no rush.  Although Elisha pretty much dragged us out here with the idea of me finding someone.  I’m not so sure that’s a good idea though”

“Why not?”

“Well, these aren’t our real bodies.  I mean what if I ended up with some sixty year old man or an eight year old kid you know?”

Elwyn nods.  “I think I understand.  Still, you should probably look a bit.  I mean who knows you might just find someone you like around your age”

“Mmm I guess”

Elwyn looks at Jessica nervously.  “So…you actually want to look for the coral with me or you wanta ditch me?”

Jessica smiles.  “I still want to be friends with you.  Let’s look together”

The two of them rush out into the water and quickly dive under.  Together they swim down to the bottom and start following the sandy ground along.  After several moments Jessica looks over at Elwyn.  Instead of swimming though Elwyn is just gliding through the water with no motion of her arms and legs at all.

“Are you using telekinesis under water?”

Elwyn smiles.  “Yeah, it’s easier than swimming”

Jessica turns a little pale.  “Do you ever use your limbs to move?”

Elwyn gives her a weak smile.  The two of them continue swimming along the ocean floor until it opens up into a huge rocky ditch area with masses of coral of all different colors and small fish swimming around everywhere.  As they stop to look around at the area a school of a hundred or so very tiny fish swims past them.

“Wow it’s beautiful” says Jessica.

Elwyn nods.  “Yeah it is.  Let’s start looking for the coral”

“Alright”.  Jessica looks around at the patches of coral around the area then points off to the side.  “Let’s start over there”

The two of them quickly swim over in the direction Jessica pointed.  As they get there they hover over the coral looking other the thick patches for any bright pink ones.

“There’s one” says Elwyn.

She sinks a little lower in the water and gestures her hand at it.  The piece of pink coral starts shaking and after a moment it’s ripped off and floats into Elwyn’s hand.  Meanwhile Jessica draws her sword and starts deftly slicing off any pink coral in front of her.  The two of them continue swimming around the area gathering up any and all the pink they find.  With no bag to carry it Elwyn uses her magic to bunch the coral together in a small magic orb in front of her which floats nearby.

“I’ll be right back” says Jessica.

Elwyn nods and continues collecting the coral.  Meanwhile Jessica swims off looking around at the beautiful underwater atmosphere.  After several minutes of swimming she pauses and looks out ahead where a black and white shark like fish about half her size starts swimming towards her.  Worried she might get attacked she quickly draws her sword and holds it at the ready in her hands.

The shark like fish speeds towards her and she pulls back her sword to strike.  Due to the water though her attack is slowed dramatically and by the time she’s able to start swinging her sword back out its already at her face.  She stares at it in horror as its massive mouth opens revealing hundreds of jagged teeth.  To her surprise though instead of biting or hurting her the shark like fish starts licking her face like a dog.

Jessica pushes it away with a look of disgust on her face.  “Bleh, knock it off.  I don’t know what’s worse being licked or being bitten”

The shark like fish swims circles around her several times looking her over.  Seeing she doesn’t have any food though it loses interest and swims off.  Jessica watches it swim away then turns and continues looking around.  As she continues she comes across dozens of different types of coral and fish.  She even comes across several small white and aqua colored spiders that have spun webs between the coral that work to snare fish for them to eat.  As Jessica continues looking around she quickly loses track of time and distance which lands her miles from the shoreline.

After continuing swimming for quite some time she comes across a set of stone ruins scattered about the sandy ocean floor.  Towards the center of the ruins is a smashed stone door over a passage that leads down into darkness.  She swims over to the ruins and sets down on the sand towards the center and begins to swim around slowly as she searches the area.  As she looks around nearby a faint outline of a creature in the water swims around her overhead.

Suddenly something catches Jessica’s eye and she swims over to a small corner of the ruins.  She kneels down and looks down at large egg made entirely out of water that’s about the size of a basketball.  As she looks over the water egg carefully the faint outline of movement can be seen inside it and at times an oddly shaped head or a long scythe shaped claw.

As she continues to gaze at it the creature glides closer to her and circles around her and it’s quickly joined by several others.  As Jessica reaches a hand out to touch the egg one of the creatures suddenly lunges forward.  The faint outline of its open maw and a set of sharp scythe shaped claws spread widely can just be made out as it speeds towards her.  Just as Jessica’s about to lose her head a male dark elf knocks her out of the way.

Jessica stares up at the dark elf looking over his features.  He has short spiky black hair and a set of piercing yellow eyes.  Down along the left side of his face and along the side of his neck he has a black glyph tattoo as well as a massive glyph tattoo on the full of his back.  His body is slim and feminine yet muscular at the same time and the only clothing he has is a skimpy pair of black shorts around his waist.

Although only clothed in shorts his fingers are adorned with expensive silver rings and a heavy silver chain hangs around his neck with a set of dog tags.  Finally in his hand which holds Jessica closely he has a massive sword that’s almost 5ft long and 1ft across with a beautiful shiny shimmering surface.

“Who are you?” asks Jessica.

The dark elf stares down at her with a serious expression.  “There’s no time for that.  Take a look around”

Jessica glances around them noticing the faint outlines of the creatures in the water and piecing together their features she quickly recognizes them as slivers.  Unlike the other slivers the gang had encountered though these ones are made entirely out of water making them near impossible to see in the ocean.

“Oh my god” says Jessica.

“That thing you were looking at was an egg.  Needless to say their pissed off” says the dark elf.

One of the slivers growls angrily and speeds towards them like a torpedo.  Thinking fast the dark elf throws out his free hand to the side.  After a moment a blast of blue energy flies out from his hand and hits the ground propelling them away.  Just as the sliver’s massive scythe claws miss them another decides to attack them.  The dark elf suddenly pushes Jessica away and holds out his sword clutching it tightly with both hands.

After a moment a massive flame erupts along the length of the sword causing heavy steam and bubbles to start pouring off it which rise to the surface.  The dark elf drifts to the side avoiding the sliver as it tries to attack him.  As it passes by his side he swipes his sword out cleaving into it.  As his sword glides through the sliver its water body quickly heats and turns to steam and heated water which quickly rises to the surface.  As the blade passes through the sliver’s tail the last of its body is affected by the fiery blade thoroughly killing the beast.

The dark elf turns to Jessica and grabs her pulling her close to him.  With his sword in one hand he holds her tightly to him while with the other hand he quickly makes several hand gestures.  The slivers around them growl and all speed towards them at once to attack them.  Just before they get close enough to attack the two of them disappear.  Moments later the two of them reappear on the beach encased in a large sphere of water which immediately collapses and pools on the sand.  Jessica falls to the ground and starts coughing heavily as her lungs become accustomed to the sudden change of breathing.

The dark elf holds out a hand to her.  “Are you alright?”

Jessica nods and takes his hand to stand up.  “Thanks for saving me”

The dark elf smiles warmly at her.  “This may be a low area but there’s a couple ruins underwater really far out where slivers nest.  You might want to keep that in mind next time”

“I guess so.  I’m Jessica by the way”

“I’m Athel”

Jessica looks at him curiously.  “Fake name?”

Athel smiles.  “Character name, I enjoy role-playing”

“You wanta go for a walk?”

“Sure, maybe you can tell me what you were doing so far out underwater while we’re at it”

A while later the two of them are walking along the beach near the water.

“Ahh that explains it” says Athel.

“So why were you there?” asks Jessica.

“I was exploring the ruins underwater.  It occurred to me today that I’ve never been there before”

“Isn’t that dangerous?”

“Quite, there were a lot of slivers inside among other things”

Jessica goes silent for a moment as she thinks something over.  “If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?  In the real world I mean"

Athel smiles.  “Twenty-one, what about you?”

“Sixteen, seventeen in a couple months”

“This may be a bit forward but, you are a girl right?  In the real world I mean”

Jessica smiles.  “Yeah, yeah I am.  And you?”

Athel begins to speak when suddenly Nathan’s voice yells out from ahead of them.  “Hey Jess over here”

Jessica raises a hand in the air and waves at him then yells.  “Be there in a sec”.  She turns and smiles to Athel.  “I thought so”

Athel looks at her concerned.  “You did hear me right?”

Jessica smiles.  “Yeah I heard.  So don’t worry about it”

Athel smiles.  “Let’s head over to your friends.  Their probably worried about you”

Together the two of them rush over to Nathan and find Elwyn and Elisha standing nearby.

Elwyn breathes a sigh of relief as Jessica comes running over.  “Are you okay?  I lost track of you shortly after we started looking for the coral.  You shouldn’t have gone off on your own”

Jessica waves a hand in front of her nervously.  “Sorry about that.  I got so caught up in looking around that I kind of got lost.  I ended up swimming really far out and as bad luck would have it I ran into a nest of slivers camped out by some ruins”.  She suddenly realizes she hasn’t introduced Athel so she motions a hand at him.  “Oh sorry this is Athel he saved me”

Nathan holds out his hand to Athel and the two of them shake.  “Thanks for helping Jess”

Athel smiles.  “My pleasure”

Elisha looks over Athel curiously drinking in every aspect of his body.  “Athel huh?”.  She raises an eyebrow.  “Fake name?”

“Character name I like role-playing” says Athel.

A while later Nathan, Elwyn and Athel are walking together while Elisha and Jessica walk together a short distance behind them.

Elisha grins.  “I see you already found someone you like huh?”

Jessica shakes her head.  “It’s not like that”

Elisha’s grin widens.  “Yeah sure it isn’t.  Come on what do you know about him?”

“Well not much.  Firstly he’s a guy, thankfully and he’s twenty-one”

“Mmm a little bit older than you huh?  Not bad”.  Elisha looks ahead at the three of them and yells out.  “Hey love birds come on let’s go look for some more coral”

The three of them stop and wait for them to catch up.  Nathan stares at Elisha.  “You want us to go back to looking for coral again already?”

Elisha grins then pushes Jessica right into Athel’s arms.  “Well have fun Jess the three of us will keep looking and we’ll meet up later”

“Hey wait what are you…” starts Jessica.

Before she can finish however Elisha is already dragging Nathan and Elwyn off so the two of them can be alone together.  Seeing their leaving Jessica can’t help but give a smile before turning back to Athel and ushering him on to continue walking.

“I take it Jess found a guy she likes?” asks Elwyn.

“Maybe, maybe not.  Either way us being around isn’t going to help her cause.  Besides we’ve only filled half the bag we got plenty more room”

With that Elisha drags the two of them back into the ocean in search of more pink coral.  An hour or so later the three of them emerge from the ocean all looking rather exhausted.

“I think I’m just going to lie in the sun and rest” says Elwyn.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking” says Elisha.

“You two go ahead I’m going to look around a bit.  I’ll join you in a couple of minutes” says Nathan.

Nathan walks off down along the shore while the two girls head over to a nice sunny area on the sand.  Elwyn sits her staff down and lies down on her back on the sand.  Elisha takes off her bow and quiver and lays them down then takes off her bikini top and slips out of her bikini bottoms.

Elwyn sits up and stares at her with wide eyes.  “What on Eden are you doing?”

“Sun baking and you better get that swimsuit off too if you don’t want to get some weird looking tan lines” says Elisha.  With that she relaxes back on the sand next to Elwyn.

“You can’t be serious.  You’re gonna sun bake nude?  HERE?”

“It’s not like anyone cares besides its nothing they haven’t seen before”

Elwyn looks around nervously at the people nearby.  “S-still…”

Having nothing to continue with Elwyn lies down on her back and relaxes in the sun.  Several minutes later Nathan comes walking over to them.  Seeing Elisha naked he shakes his head.

“What ARE you doing?” asks Nathan.

“We’re sun baking what’s it look like?” says Elisha.

“Then why are you naked?”

Elisha points a thumb at Elwyn.  “Because unlike her I care if I get tan lines”

Elwyn sits up and turns a little pale.  “I’m, not really game enough to sun bake nude here”

“Yeah somehow I don’t think Jess would be game enough either” says Nathan.

Elisha sits up.  “Speaking of Jess where is she?  I haven’t seen her for a while, she still talking to that guy?”

Nathan points a thumb behind him.  “I saw them a moment ago walking along the shore”

“I guess they’re really hitting it off” says Elwyn.

“Yeah I didn’t expect her to find a guy so fast” says Elisha.

Nathan looks at them seeming concerned.  “You don’t think, she just grabbed the closet guy possible for comfort do you?”

Elisha grins to herself and waves a hand at him.  “Don’t flatter yourself you’re not that great a catch.  Besides he seems like a pretty good guy.  Hell even I’d have probably grabbed him if I had the chance”.  Feeling a bit better by her words Nathan relaxes down beside them.  “By the way since you’re here”.  Elisha turns to her quiver and pulls out a small transparent potion bottle of white liquid that was hidden between the arrows.  She turns back to Nathan and holds it up.  “You mind putting some lotion on me, especially my breasts.  I don’t want to get sun burnt”

“You want me him WHAT?” yells Elwyn.

Elisha stares at her.  “Jeez freak out why don’t you.  It’s only a bit of lotion”

“Why can’t you do it?” asks Nathan.

“Because I can’t get the lotion everywhere.  I’d ask her”.  She glances at Elwyn briefly.  “But I get the feeling she has a problem of feeling up another girl”.  Nathan stares at Elisha silently.  “Look either one of you do it or I go ask some stranger to grope me”

Elwyn snatches the lotion out of Elisha’s hand with an icy cold glare on her face.  “Give me the damn lotion”.  She quickly takes the top off and pours some onto her hand.  “You really have no shame or modesty what so ever”

With a grin Elisha lies back down as Elwyn goes to work on putting the lotion on her.  Nathan watches them for a moment then turns away with a blushed face.

After a while Elwyn pulls away.  “Alright all done”

Elisha stares at her.  “You missed a VERY important spot”

Elwyn flushes red.  “I am NOT touching you there.  You’re more than capable of reaching there yourself”

“Fine”.  Elisha sits up, takes the lotion off her and rubs a handful over her crotch quickly.  “Alright I’ll do you now”

Elwyn flushes red again and turns away.  “Forget it I’m not letting you grope me”

Elisha grins.  “Fair enough.  Hey lover boy”.  Nathan turns around and she tosses him the lotion.  “You can have fun groping her”

“You mind?” asks Nathan.

Elwyn blushes and shakes her head.  Nathan scoots forward and pours some lotion on his hand then begins to rub it into Elwyn’s body.  Meanwhile Elisha lies back on the sand with a grin on her face as she soaks up the sun.  Several hours later Elwyn, Elisha and Nathan are sleeping next to each other under the sun.  Elwyn’s eyes slowly and she sits up.  She looks down at her body which instead of her usual color is a beautiful dark bronze color.  Seeing her skin color her eyes go wide and she squeals out.

Elisha sits up and rubs her eyes sleepily.  Her body like Elwyn’s is a dark bronze color from sun baking so long.  “What’s wrong?”

Elwyn turns and glares at her with a mixture of anger and horror on her face.  “What’s wrong?  LOOK AT ME”

Elisha stares at her blankly.  “I fail to see the problem”

“I’M BROWN YOU IDIOT.  What the hell kind of lotion was that?”

“Tanning lotion”

Elwyn turns pale.  “T-tanning lotion?”

Elisha nods.  “Yeah, what’d you think it was?”

Elwyn face turns deathly pale.  She looks down at herself and lifts up her swimsuit revealing white skin where her swimsuit protected her from the sun.  “I, got tan lines”

Elisha shakes her head.  “I told you to strip naked but nooo you wouldn’t listen”

Elwyn glares at Elisha angrily.  “Well I didn’t think you handed me tanning lotion”

Elisha stares at her blankly.  “What did you expect?”

“Sun screen”

“What good is sun baking if you don’t get a tan?”

As they continue arguing Nathan slowly wakes up.  He sits up and looks at the girls sleepily.  After a moment his eyes adjust and they go wide.  “Holy hell, what the hell happened?”

Elwyn turns to him and points a finger accusingly at Elisha.  “That moron gave me tanning lotion.  Just look at me”

Elisha yawns.  “Well I’m gonna turn over now I suggest you do the same if you want an even tan.  Nathan get over here and put some lotion on me”

Nathan rubs his head nervously as he looks over the girls.  Several hours later both Elwyn and Elisha are lying naked with dark bronze tans all over.  Slowly Jessica comes walking over to them.  She stops a distance away and stares at them then walks over and sits down by Nathan.

“What happened here?” asks Jessica.

Nathan sits up and whispers to Jessica.  “Elisha decided to do a little tanning and had me put some lotion on Elwyn but we thought it was sunscreen”

“And let me guess she had to get naked to get rid of the tan line on her belly?”

Nathan nods.

Elisha sits up.  “So where’s your boyfriend?”

“He’s NOT my boyfriend and he had to leave he said he had a business meeting this afternoon” says Jessica.

Elisha turns to Elwyn.  “Hey you can get up now your tans evened out”

“I’m not speaking to you” says Elwyn.

Elisha pokes Elwyn’s breast with a finger.  “Oh come on don’t be like that”

Elwyn swats her hand away and sits up.  “Touch me there again and I’ll REALLY give you a tan”

Elisha grins at her evilly.  Nathan quickly rushes over and stops Elisha before she can take it any further.

“Well anyway I’ve had enough of the beach you guys ready to go?” asks Jessica.

Elwyn stands up, grabs her Swimsuit and slips into it.  “Definitely, this is the last time I ever sun bake with her”

“Oh come on the tan looks good” says Elisha.

Elwyn turns and glares at her angrily.

“It does look good” says Nathan.

Hearing him Elwyn’s rage subsides and she blushes deeply.  After they all get organized and calm down a bit Elwyn teleports the four of them back to her house.

Elisha yawns.  “Well I think that about does it for today.  Ready to log out?”

“You guys go ahead I’m gonna stay a while” says Nathan.

Jessica glances at Elisha with a worried expression.

Elisha notices it and grabs Nathan’s hand then drags him off.  “Alright I need to talk to you”.  She drags him off into another room and closes the door then turns and glares at him coldly.  “This has gotta stop”

“What has?” asks Nathan.

“You being here so long with Elwyn”

Nathan looks at her angrily.  “I thought you weren’t going to interfere?”

Elisha glares at him and yells.  “INTERFERE?  Have you looked at yourself in the real world lately?  Your clothes are a mess, your head is always in the clouds and you have almost solid black rings around your eyes because you stay up so late.  Jess told me half the time you come home at midnight sometimes even later.  I know you like Elwyn but enough is enough.  I don’t care if she’s an NPC or a girl in the real world TONE IT THE FUCK DOWN”

Nathan stares at her in shock completely speechless.

“If you don’t I’m going to make sure Elwyn knows EXACTLY how staying here so long is effecting you in the real world.  What do you think she’d say if she saw you?  I bet you haven’t called her with your phone for a while because you’re worried of that, aren’t you?”

Nathan lowers his gaze as the truth of her words hits him.

“I’ll tell your parents too and finally if it isn’t enough I’ll kill your ass if you so much as try to enter the Eden center building.  From now on you stay two hours max after we leave GOT IT?”

“Yeah”

“GOT IT?” yells Elisha.

Nathan nods furiously.  “Yeah okay, okay”.  Hearing him agree Elisha calms down a bit.  “I’m sorry, I, I’m sorry.  It’s just I love her so much.”

“I know but Nathan there is a such thing as too much.  I don’t mind you seeing her but I’m not letting you destroy yourself outside this world and I’ll use force if I really have to.  Jess would have talked to you too but, she, she just didn’t know how”

“Sorry from now on I’ll be more careful”.  Elisha glares at him coldly making Nathan quickly perk up.  “And won’t stay any longer than two hours after you two leave”

Elisha sighs.  “Good.  Now go tell Elwyn you can’t stay any longer today.  You need a decent night’s sleep”

Nathan nods.  “Okay”.  Nathan opens the door and heads over to where Jessica and Elwyn are still standing the living room.  “Listen Elwyn, I’m, I gotta leave today”

Elwyn looks a little hurt.  “I thought you were going to stay a little longer”

Nathan nods.  “Yeah, that’s the thing.  Look Elisha just chewed me out for staying so long.  To be honest she’s right, being here so long is starting to affect me outside this place.  I love you but, I can’t, I can’t stay here so long anymore”

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.  I never thought that you staying could…”

Nathan holds up a hand and cuts her off.  “It’s my fault.  I let being with you get out of hand.  I’ll see you everyday but, I can’t so late anymore”.  Elwyn nods almost with tears in her eyes.  “I’ll see you tomorrow”

Elwyn nods and tries to give him a smile.

Elisha walks over to them with a cold glare.  “Alright lover boy log out”

Nathan turns to look at her then nods.  With a heavy sigh he logs out.  As his body disappears Elisha lets out a heavy sigh.

“Sorry about that” says Elisha.

Elwyn shakes her head and a tear runs down her cheek.  “No, I’m sorry.  I didn’t realize him staying here so long was affecting him outside this place.  I should have realized, I’m so sorry”

Elisha smiles.  “It’s okay.  He’s not allowed to stay here longer than two hours when myself or Jess isn’t around okay?”

Elwyn nods.  “Okay”

“Look I just want to make something clear.  Neither Jess or myself have anything against him being with you it’s just…”

Elwyn nods.  “I know, I know.  For that I’m sorry”

Elisha smiles.  “We’ll see you tomorrow then, oh and enjoy your full body tan”

Elwyn suddenly glares at her angrily.  “Drop dead”
