A World Apart
Chapter 04: Morals and Mazes

Nathan, Jessica and Elisha appear between the crowds in the busy streets of Ralion as they log in again.

“So what’s on today’s agenda?  We got a good 12 hours to play today” says Jessica.

Nathan shrugs and shakes his head.  “Honestly I have no idea”

“Listen” says Elisha.  They both turn to her.  “I was thinking we're all quite poorly equipped right now.  Granted I got a decent weapon now but the point is we're broke and we have crappy gear”

“I assume there’s a point to this?”

Elisha smiles.  “Why don't we head to a dungeon with humanoid opponents?  We can pick up some better weapons and armor and maybe even sell some stuff off for a bit of money”

Nathan nods at her suggestion.  “You know that’s a really good idea”

Jessica looks slightly worried.  “Hold up, humanoid opponents.  You mean like people?  Elves, humans and so on?”

Elisha nods.  “Yeah, that’s what I meant”

Jessica looks to the ground with a dreary expression.  “I don’t know, it just seems, it seems wrong.  Their NPCs but still”

Hearing her objection Nathan folds his arms and puts some thought into it.

Elisha lets out a sigh.  “I thought you two might have a problem with it so I thought we'd ask the guards and others around town about bandits, slavers that kind of thing.  Their evil their humanoid and they'd have the kind of stuff we want.  We'd be doing everyone a favor by getting rid of them”

“That’s true and if their a threat to the town who knows we may even be able to get a reward out of it” says Nathan.

Jessica still holds a dreary expression as she holds some concerns.  “I’m still not sure but…I, I guess”

Elisha smiles.  “Great, follow me”

They weave through the crowd on the streets as they follow Elisha being careful not to lose sight of her.  After several minutes of walking they come to the eastern gate of the town.  The massive gate built into the stone walls is left open allowing people to go and come as they please.

By the entrance on either side is a human guard wearing heavy brownish plate mail from neck to toe with a long sword strapped to their sides.  The one on the left is a young man in his early 20s with scruffy blond hair.  The other is an elderly battle hardened man in his late 30s with heavy black hair down to his shoulders with stubble of a recently shaved beard.

Elisha stops between the two and glances at them in turn.  “Excuse me”.  The pair quickly perk up and look over at her.  “Do you know if there's any bandits around in the forest or near the city?”

The elderly guard cups his chin as he goes into thought.  “Bandits huh?  Let me think…”

The young guard smiles.  “You guys are looking for bandits?”

Elisha nods.  “Yeah”

“Well Natalie said she saw some bandits heading into an old Elvin crypt the other day when she was out scouting”

The elderly guard looks at the younger one.  “Wait you don’t mean that abandoned crypt Vena do you?”

“Yeah that’s the one”

The elder guards groans and ruffles his hair with a hand.  “That damn crypt is always crawling with bandits.  Once you get deeper though it’s not bandits you need to worry about.  It’s wraiths and skeletons”

“Where are those ruins?” asks Elisha.

“You mean Vena?” asks the younger guard.  Elisha nods.  “You got a map?”.  Elisha takes out her map and shows it to him.  “Vena is right here”.  He points at the map east of town near a river.  “As you can see its east of here probably about two days walk.  It’s actually only about five minutes walk from the river”

Elisha looks depressed hearing the distance.  “Two days?  That’s…way too far”

The elderly guard sighs.  “Just have the gatekeeper teleport you out”

“How much would that cost though?”

The younger guard puts a finger to his chin as he thinks.  “Hmm…a place like Vena?  Probably about 300 Ethian a person”

Elisha lets out a sigh as she hangs her head down in defeat.

“I guess we could use some gatekeeper tokens” says Nathan.

“Actually if you got gatekeeper tokens I suggest you don’t waste them on something like that.  Some of the other cities are really far away and cost about twenty or thirty thousand to teleport to” explains the younger guard.

“Wow, okay.  Well I guess we can scratch that idea since we’re utterly broke”

An incubus walks over to them with a smile.  Although having a human body the incubus has a set of large fleshy bat wings on his back which are encased in heavy tan colored armor plates that almost give the appearance of feathers.  On his backside he has a long slender fleshly colored tail with a sharp arrowhead tip.  Like his wings his tail is encased in plate armor with razor-sharp metal edges like a mace situated around the tip.

The rest of his muscular body is encased in elegant heavy plate armor with a massive two handed sword hanging on the side of his belt that almost touches the ground.  His red demonic eyes seem to almost flicker with darkness as he smiles at them.  Meanwhile his short black hair blows gently in the wind as does a pair of silver colored gemmed earrings that are in the form of some strange symbol.

“Sorry, I couldn’t help overhearing.  If you want I can teleport you to Vena.  I’ll even do it for free” says the demon.

Jessica smiles “Really?  That’s be great”

Elisha looks at him with a doubtful look.  “You don’t want anything out of this?”

The demon smiles “I like helping newbie’s out sometimes”

The younger guard leans next to Elisha and whispers to her.  “Sounds fishy I wouldn’t trust him if I were you”

“Well in that case, sure, we appreciate it” says Nathan.

The demon smiles at them.  “Alright, all three of you stand close and I’ll teleport you there”.  The gang quickly gathers around him.  “Oh one thing before I send you there.  If you want to use a town portal scroll to get back do it on the other side of the river otherwise you’ll end up in Salandee instead of here.  I found that out the hard way”

Elisha nods.  “Right”

He concentrates for a moment then motions his hands at them causing them to disappear in a rush of particles.  Moments later the gang arrives in a beautiful green forest area with large trees, lush green grass, bushes and flowers.

“Is this it?” asks Jessica.

Nathan rubs the back of his head.  “I don’t know”

Elisha quickly pulls out her map to check their location.  “This is the place.  We’re outside Vena”

“Well that was nice if him.  He saved us a whole lot of time”

“And a whole lot of money.  I guess from now on we better keep about two thousand on hand at all times”

“So, where is Vena?” asks Jessica.

Elisha looks down at her map then points ahead of them.  “It’s in that direction not far from here”

Elisha quickly puts away her map and they walk towards the north for about a minute.  As they pass through some bushes they come to a clearing with a large slab of white marble on the ground.  On top of it is a large aged Elvin white marble roof over a set off four pillars that hang over a long long stairway leading deep down into the earth.

Jessica steps forward and gazes down the stairway just barely making out a flicker of light way down at the base of the staircase.  “Wow that’s a lot of stairs”

Nathan steps forward to take a look.  “Wow no kidding”

“Well come on we don’t have time to stand about” says Elisha.

Together they head down the mass of stairs descending deep into the ground.  When they finally reach the bottom they find their in a large Elvin structure built out of white marble with a ceiling almost twenty feet high.  Ahead of them a long hallway stretches out in the distance lit by masses of torches held tightly on walls on either side.

Jessica lets out a sigh as she hops off the last stair.  “How deep do they need this crypt?”

“Beats me, I don’t see any graves though” says Nathan.

“Their probably a lot further in” says Elisha.

Together they continue along the long hallway.  As they near the end where the hallway turns off to the left Elisha suddenly stops.

“What’s wrong?” asks Jessica.

Elisha raises her hand slightly.  “Shhh”.  In the distance around the corner the faint echo of heels can be heard clicking against the stone as somebody walks.  “Wait here”

Elisha quickly takes off her bow and readies an arrow on it from her quiver.  She silently runs up to the corner of the hallway and peers around to get a look.  In the distance a female elf is walking away from them as she patrols the hallway.

As Elisha looks over her it becomes apparent she’s wearing a set of creamy yellow colored bronze armor.  The top hugs her chest tightly with a set of heavy shoulder pads.  Overall it gives decent protection but it leaves her belly wide open and vulnerable to attack.  The lower half is built to be a skirt which hangs down over her thighs on the back but leaves almost too much open on the front as her panties are almost visible, still its structure allows plenty of freedom in movement.  On her hands she has a set of heavy bronze gauntlets which end at her elbows.  On her feet is a set of heavy bronze 4 inch heel boots that go up to her knees with a set of cream stockings continuing up to her thighs.

Elisha steps out into the hallway and readies her bow aiming straight at the woman’s head.  She lets out a low bird like whistle causing the woman to stop and turn around.  Just as she turns her head an arrow flies into her forehead and she flops to the ground dead.

Elisha smiles at her aim.  “All clear”

Nathan and Jessica join her as she goes over to the dead elf woman.

“Wow, good aim” says Nathan.

Jessica makes a weird face seeming disgusted by the whole thing.  Elisha casually leans down and rips her arrow free from the woman’s forehead causing a small drizzle of blood to run out.  Seeing it Jessica quickly turns her head away not particularly wanting to see it.  Elisha looks over her bloody arrow carefully to find its still in mint condition.  She quickly shakes the blood off and slides the arrow back into the quiver.

“These are either pretty sloppy bandits or they got a lookout further ahead” says Elisha.

Nathan cups his chin as he thinks.  “They probably got a lookout further ahead.  I can’t imagine anyone being stupid enough to have one person walking up and down a hallway as their only defense”

Elisha kneels down and starts unstrapping the woman’s armor showing no emotion or consideration for the dead woman.

Jessica turns and looks down at her seeming surprised.  “Hey just what do you think your doing?”

“What does it look like?  I’m taking this stuff.  She’s dead” says Elisha.

Jessica begins to look real annoyed at her cold reply.  “For Christ sakes show some emotion and Nathan turn around” yells Jessica.

Nathan looks at her blankly.  “Why?”

“Just do it” yells Jessica.

Nathan quickly turns around not even sure why he should but figures it’s better to do so than face a pissed off Jessica.  “Y-yes Mame”

Elisha lets out a sigh.  “Honestly”.  Elisha pulls the woman forward and unstraps the armor on the back so she can pull it off.  “You know instead of standing there why don’t you help me?”

Jessica turns a little pale.  “Uh, I, I don’t know.  I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable doing that”

Elisha sighs again.  “Honestly”

“Do you want me to help?” asks Nathan.

“NO, you just stay where you are” yells Jessica.  Jessica trudges over to Elisha and glares at her.  “You REALLY need to get some human emotions you know that?”

Elisha smirks.  “Well don’t complain yet because I’m taking her panties too”

“YOU’RE WHAT?”

“Hey they look nice and I could use some I mean it’s not like we can afford this stuff yet”

Jessica looks at her seeming depressed and somewhat disgusted.  “You know there’s a line between RPG and reality right?”

Nathan sighs.  “I really don’t get what your whole objection is here”

“You don’t think her taking a dead woman’s panties is disgusting and heartless?”

“Not that, I mean me helping”

Jessica looks a little depressed and embarrassed.  “I just don’t think it’s appropriate for you to go undressing a dead woman”

With the armor finally off the woman Elisha holds up the breastplate as she looks over it carefully.  “Alright you look about the right size for this armor so you can wear it”

“ME?  No thanks” says Jessica.

Elisha glares at her.  “We’re not buying brand new armor just because you don’t want to wear something off a dead person now come on off with it”.  Elisha drops the armor and stands up then starts pulling on Jessica’s shirt as she tries to undress her.

Jessica squeals.  “S-stop it, let me go.  I can undress myself”

“You say that but you have yet to start doing it”

Jessica blushes and glances at Nathan’s back.  “Well, Nathan’s standing right in front of us”

“His back is turned.  Besides this isn’t even your body.  Not to mention he’s seen you naked plenty of times already”

Jessica’s eyes turn to saucers in surprise hearing her say that.  “NO HE HASN’T” squeals Jessica.

Elisha stops trying to undress her and smirks.  “Wanna bet?  What about those “bath times” when we were younger?  Then there’s the time you lost your top while swimming.  Not to mention whenever we all get changed for gym class or go in the showers”

Jessica looks to the ground blushing with embarrassment as she quickly begins to loose the argument.

Elisha’s smirk broadens.  “By the way I’ve seen you checking him out a few times when we change”

Nathan looks surprised and turns his head slightly to them.  “She what?”

Jessica turns pale and quickly covers Elisha’s mouth before she can say anything else.  “Nothing, nothing”.  She leans close to Elisha’s face and glares at her then whispers “Say anymore and you die”

Elisha grins broadly and holds up the chest piece of armor.  Jessica hangs her head down and sighs.

Nathan puts a hand to his face.  “How did I ever get talked into playing this game?  I’ll be around the corner while you two finish fighting”.  With that Nathan walks off and disappears around the corner.

The girls watch him leave.  After a moment Elisha smirks and starts trying to undress Jessica again.  After several minutes of fighting Jessica is finally standing fully dressed in the dead woman’s armor.

Elisha nods to herself with a smile as she looks at Jessica.  “A perfect fit just like I thought”

Jessica fidgets as she looks over her armor.  “Mmm, it feels a bit weird”

“That’s only because you’re not used to wearing armor”

Jessica continues to look over the armor carefully not really satisfied by her answer.

“Are you two done yet?” yells Nathan.

“Uh, y-yeah” says Jessica.

Nathan walks out from around the corner as he rubs the back of his head.  “Honestly you two give me a headache”

Elisha glares at him.  “I don’t know why you walked off you’ve seen it all before anyway”

Nathan sighs.  “I don’t think you’d ever understand courtesy.  Besides that was one fight I didn’t want to be part of”

Elisha shoots Jessica an angry glare.  “Well if someone would have undressed herself there wouldn’t have been a problem”

Jessica turns away with her arms folded.  “Well excuse me for not wanting to wear some dead woman’s armor”

“She was alive a few minutes ago.  Besides that’s the very definition of an RPG”

Jessica turns and glares at her.  “Except this isn’t an RPG it’s a virtual reality”

Nathan sighs.  “Can we please just get going?”.  Nathan mutters the rest of his sentence.  “Man this is gonna be a long day”

They continue through the crypt down yet another long hallway.  As they walk along they pass under a massive stone support beam that runs across the ceiling.  Unknown to them above a female elf archer is perched in a damaged section of the support archway that’s only visible if a person were walking out of the crypt which in turn gives her the perfect vantage point to spot intruders.

As they pass through the archway the woman hears their footsteps.  She quickly sits up and looks down at the group with a smile.  She grabs her bow from next to her and readies an arrow from her quiver.  Just as she’s about to fire Elisha turns around while drawing an arrow.  Before the woman can even react an arrow flies out and pierces her forehead.  As the strength in her arms disappears the arrow she had ready flies off to the side and hits the wall.  Meanwhile her body goes limp and falls off the archway landing with a loud thump on the hard marble ground.  Hearing the noise Nathan and Jessica quickly stop and turn around, their gazed focused on the dead elf woman.

The elf woman is wearing a light weight set of cream and orange leather armor.  The sleeveless top extends all the way down to the skirt leaving a small V open to show off her belly button.  The skirt although leather is very flexible as it extends only slightly past her thighs just covering her panties.  On her feet she has a set of 4 inch high heeled boots that extend almost up to her knees.  Finally on her hands she has a short set of gloves that extend only slightly past her wrists.

“Where did she come from?” asks Jessica.

Elisha gazes upwards at the archway.  “She was hidden up on the archway.  Pretty clever spot to hide especially since you can’t be seen from the other side”

Elisha walks over to the dead woman and rips her arrow out.  She quickly shakes the blood off it before sliding it back into her quiver.  Nathan walks over to the woman and kneels down to inspect the steel bow lying near her body.

“Looks like we could have saved our money on a bow” says Nathan.

Elisha takes the bow from him and carefully looks it over.  “No, this thing is pretty worn out.  I don’t think it’d last much longer”.

Elisha drops the bow and looks over the woman quickly noticing a short sword sheathed on her side.  She unstraps the sword and pulls it out of its sheath to look over it.  The sword itself is a very carefully crafted steel sword with an orange sheath that matches the woman’s armor.

“I could definitely use this” says Elisha.  She glances at Nathan.  “You mind?”

Nathan shakes his head.  “Not at all, I need a long sword”

Jessica stands idly by silently watching as Nathan and Elisha inspect the woman as if they’d found a treasure chest.

“Do you think this armor would fit me?” asks Elisha.

Nathan looks at the woman from head to toe.  “Hmm, looks about your size”

Elisha lifts the woman up.  “Gimme a hand”

“Now you’re gonna undress her too?” asks Jessica.

Nathan looks up at her and sighs.  “Look Jess I get it but this is what we came here for”

“I’ll help Elisha you…”

“No I’ll do it.  It’s weird and all I know but we’re gonna be doing this a lot so you might as well get used to it”

“Fine”.  Jessica turns around and walks off a distance then leans against the wall looking rather annoyed.

Together Nathan and Elisha start undressing the woman.  “Man it’s not easy to undress someone when they drop like a stone” says Nathan.

“Yeah, I know what you mean.  Feels kind of weird doing it too” says Elisha.

Nathan merely nods in response.  After several minutes of holding up and moving around the woman’s limp corpse to undress her they finally finish taking the armor off her.  Elisha stands up and casually takes her top off not caring that Nathan is right in front of her.  Being courteous though Nathan quickly turns around.

“You can look if you want” says Elisha as she continues undressing.

“Courtesy” says Nathan.

“Whatever.  It’s not like you haven’t seen me naked before.  Besides you just helped me undress a dead woman”

“Yeah well, she’s dead”

After several minutes of changing clothes Elisha stands up wearing her new set of armor.  She smiles and says “All done”

Nathan turns around to look and nods his head in approval. “Not bad.  Does it fit fine?”

“Surprisingly yeah, I thought it’d be a bit too small but it seems okay.  I guess we won’t be needing armor, at least for a while”

“I guess not, well providing we find some for me”

Jessica turns around and looks at them still seeming annoyed.  “If you two are done disrespecting the dead we can get going”

Elisha turns and smirks.  “Yeah, let’s go find some others to disrespect”

With that they head off together deeper into the crypt.  They walk through long twisting winding hallways passing by rows of doorways leading into burial rooms filled with coffins shelved on the walls.  As they continue they pass through several junctions and even end up at dead ends leading no where or only into burial rooms.

After what must be almost half an hour of walking they enter a large open room with three entrances including the one they came in.  On the far end is a male human, a female human and a male elf sitting around talking.  Sitting all around them up against the walls are boxes, crates and shelves filled with various goods and junk they’ve stolen from hapless travelers or merchants as they pass by the area.

Both of the humans are equipped with heavy two handed swords and are wearing a brown and grey suit of heavy half plate armor from neck to toe.  The male elf however is equipped with a mere long sword and a suit of brown leather armor which leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to protection.

As they enter the leader of the bandits the male human quickly stands up.  “What the hell?  How’d they get past Seren and Risia?”

The female human stands up.  “Don’t tell me”

Elisha smirks.  “You guys talking about those two in the hallway?  An arrow was enough to deal with each of them”.  The three bandits glare at Elisha angrily and draw their weapons.

Jessica leans towards Elisha and whispers “Did you have to piss them off?”

Elisha smiles and whispers.  “Angry fighters are bad fighters”

Jessica turns a little pale as she looks at the pissed off bandits.  “I hope your right”

Nathan brushes past the girls and draws his sword.  “Try to stick together”

Jessica steps ahead next to Nathan drawing her own sword as she does so.  The bandit leader looks to the male elf next to him and nods.  With that the bandit leader and the woman charge toward Nathan and Jessica.  Meanwhile the male elf runs around the side of the room and heads for Elisha.  Noticing their trick Jessica is about to run over to help her when the female bandit blocks her path.

“Where do you think your going?” asks the female bandit.

Jessica glares at the woman angrily.  As the male elf moves in toward Elisha she backs away while clutching her bow tightly in her hand.  Elisha glances over at Jessica and Nathan who are now busy violently exchanging blows of their swords with the human bandits.  As the bandit closes in on Elisha he twirls his weapon around and cuts the air doing nothing more than showing off.  Once he’s close enough he raises his sword high into the air as he prepares to strike.

Seeing an opening she steps forward and kicks him square in the nuts, his leather armor provides little to no protection from the blow.  His sword falls from his hand and he sinks to the ground silently as he holds his hands over his crotch.  Not giving him a chance to recover she kicks him in the side of the face sending him flying to the ground with blood seeping from his mouth and a heel imprint on his cheek.  Elisha draws her sword and dashes over to the fallen elf and stabs him through the neck finishing him off once and for all.

The bandit leader glances over as Elisha pulls her bloody sword out.  “That idiot” he mutters.

Elisha quickly sheaths her sword and runs around the four to get a better vantage point as they continue to lock swords.  She readies an arrow and watches Jessica closely observing her movement as she blocks and dodges.  Suddenly she fires, her arrow flies under Jessica’s arm and stops halfway through the female bandit’s wrist.  From the sudden flash of pain and the loss of some movement in her fingers her sword drops to the ground.

She quickly backs away from Jessica while holding her bloody wrist.  “FUCK, I’m gonna ki…”

She’s stopped mid sentence as Jessica steps forward and slashes her across the throat.  Her good hand quickly goes to hold her throat as she slowly chokes on her own blood and collapses to the ground.

The bandit leader looks over at her with wide shocked eyes.  “LISA, you fucking bastards”

Jessica shakes her sword to the side causing most of the blood splatter off onto the ground.  She then turns her gaze to the bandit leader as does Elisha.

The bandit leader glances at the three of them.  “Damnit”

While he’s distracted Nathan hooks his sword on the bandit’s and flings his sword out to the side taking the bandit’s sword with it effectively disarming him.  Before he has time to react Jessica steps forward and thrusts her sword into his gut.  Nathan draws his sword back and does the same, embedding his sword to the hilt next to Jessica’s.  To finish him off an arrow flies over Nathan’s shoulder and embeds itself in the bandit leader’s forehead.  Nathan and Jessica withdraw their weapons and they watch as he sinks to the floor dead.

“I think that was some pretty decent teamwork, much better than last time” says Nathan.

Elisha smiles.  “I’ll say.  Now let’s get looting”

Jessica turns and starts walking off.  “I’ll let you guys handle that.  I still don’t feel right undressing dead people”

Nathan picks up the bandit leader’s sword and looks over it briefly noticing it’s a very well crafted two handed steel long sword.  He slides it away in the sheath then turns to Jessica.  “Hey Jess”.  Jessica stops and turns around.  “You did good, catch”.  He throws the sword to her and she catches it in the air.

Jessica unsheathes the sword slightly to look at it then looks up at Nathan.  “Thanks”

Elisha walks over to Nathan who’s busy looking at the bandit leader.  “See anything you can use?” asks Elisha.

“Yeah I think his armor will fit me.  Can you give me a hand?” asks Nathan.

Elisha smiles.  “Sure”

Several minutes later Nathan is decked out in his new armor which they quickly cleaned the blood off before he put it on.  He stands around flexing his arms to get a feel for the armor.

“Mmm, it fits but to be honest it’s a bit loose” says Nathan.

“We’ll find better later it’ll have to do for now.  It probably doesn’t fit as well because he was a human, different body build” says Elisha.

“Probably”

Elisha walks over to the male elf bandit and retrieves his sword and holds it up.  “This the kind of sword you were after?”

Nathan turns to look at her.  “Yeah that’d be perfect.  I was thinking it’d be best if I have a shield hence the long sword”

Across from them Jessica is busy looking over the oddity of goods packed in and around the corner of the room.  Her attention is eventually drawn to a small leather bag with a shoulder strap that’s lying against the wall.  She reaches a hand out and touches it causing the bag to fall over.  When it does though the top flap opens up and a large black and gold colored kite shield falls half out making her step back in surprise.

She looks over the shield for a moment then yells out to the others.  “Hey guys check this out”

Elisha and Nathan pause in their looting to look over at Jessica.  They quickly get up and run over to her to see what she found.  She quickly points at the odd bag with the shield hanging half out that’s far too small to contain such a large shield.

“Is it just me or does that shield look way too big for that bag?” asks Nathan.

“I know, weird huh?” says Jessica.

Elisha steps forward and picks up the bag.  She curious looks it over a moment then turns it over.  As soon as she does a huge rush of loot falls out, purses, bags, potions, weapons and all sorts of stuff.  The flow continues for several moments before it comes to a stop as a large pile as tall as one of Elisha’s legs.  She shakes it bit to make sure it’s empty then turns it over and looks inside it.  She holds the bag out to her side then puts her hand inside reaching in all the way up to her shoulder.

“That is one weird bag” says Jessica.

Elisha takes her hand out and fluffs the bag then smiles at them.  “It’s an enchanted bag.  It basically acts as a large storage container.  Best of all it doesn’t get heavy”

“Hey I remember reading about those.  Some can hold as much as a warehouse” says Nathan.

Elisha nods with a smile.  “Mmm hmm, this one though seems like a small one but it looks like despite that it can hold quite a bit.  Using this we should be able to carry a ton of loot out”

Jessica smirks at her.  “Great maybe we with all this we can afford you a heart”

Elisha smirks back at her.  “Maybe there’ll even be enough left over to buy me a soul”

Nathan sighs and shakes his head.  Looking at the ground he turns his attention to the shield and picks it up.  “Looks like a pretty decent shield, I could use this”

“Good, now let’s grab anything else of value around here”

With that they turn their attention to the various items lying about the room.  Within 15 minutes they manage to fill the enchanted bag enough to max out its space.

“I guess we should get going” says Jessica.  She rummages through the bag on her side for a moment then pulls out a portal and unrolls it.  “I’ll make us a portal”

Just as she’s about to read the words on the scroll Elisha snatches it from her and yells “STOP”

Jessica glares at her.  “Hey what’s your problem?  Do you want to walk all the way back to town because I sure don’t”

“If we use a portal scroll here we won't end up in Ralion we'll end up back in Salandee.  If THAT happens we'll have to use another gatekeeper token, pay for it or walk 4 days to get back to Ralion”

Jessica quickly turns pale hearing at and then begins to remember what they were told in town.  “O-oh, right”

Nathan whacks Elisha on the back of the head.  “Owe” yells Elisha.  She turns around and glares at him.  “What’d you do that for?”

“You didn’t need to bite her head off” says Nathan sternly.

Elisha lowers her gaze.  “S-sorry”

Jessica sighs.  “Well let’s get out of here so we can use the portal”

“Speaking of getting out of here.  Does anyone remember the way?  I lost track after all the winding passages” says Nathan.

They quickly turn and look around at the three entrances on the room.  Jessica points in front of them.  “Wasn’t it that way?”

Elisha points in the opposite direction behind them with her thumb.  “I’m sure we came in from over there”

Nathan rubs the back of his head.  “O-kay this should be fun.  Which way should we head?”

At the same time Elisha and Jessica point in the same directions as before and say “That way”

Elisha glares at Jessica and points at the same direction again.  “I’m telling you we came in that way”

Jessica glares back at her and points at the same direction she decided on before.  “And I’m telling you we came in that way”

Nathan lowers his head and puts a hand over his face.  “How about I pick then neither of you can complain”

Jessica looks at him a little surprised.  “Mmm that sounds fair”

Elisha nods.  “I guess so”

Nathan looks at both sides then points at Jessica’s direction.  “I’m pretty sure we came in that way”

They head in Jessica’s direction and continue along the corridor until they find a ramp leading down to a lower level.

“This is definitely the wrong way” says Elisha.

Jessica looks a little sad.  “I guess so”

Suddenly a group of four Elvin skeletons naked save for their weapons walk by the ramp on the lower level.  They suddenly stop and turn to the group but do nothing except for stare at them.

“This is definitely the wrong way” says Nathan.

“Do you think they’ll attack us?” asks Jessica.

The skeletons draw their weapons and start running towards the gang.

“I’d say so” says Nathan.

Not wasting anytime they all quickly draw their weapons.  Elisha shoots an arrow landing a direct hit on the forehead of one of the skeletons.  Because of the force of the arrow the skeleton’s head flies off and its body wanders around briefly before collapsing to the ground as a heap of bones.  As the first of the skeletons make it to them Jessica leaps into the air and strikes downwards with her massive sword full force.  Her sword cleaves the skeleton in half from its head right down to its spine.  The skeleton quickly collapses to the ground with her sword still in it with her holding it.  She immediately starts tugging on her sword trying to pry it free of the skeletons body.

Elisha snickers as she watches.  “Well that was smart”

“Shut up” yells Jessica.

Nathan moves in front of Jessica shielding her from the other two skeletons as they reach them.  One of the skeletons draws back it’s sword to strike so Nathan smashes it in the face with his shield knocking it against the wall.  The other skeleton raises its mace to strike Nathan before it has a chance though he cleaves it in two at the waist with his sword.  Jessica finally manages to pull her sword out of the dead skeleton and lands backwards flat on her ass.

Elisha quickly whips her bow around and shoots the remaining skeleton in the head skewering its skull as it tries to move away from the wall.  Despite the arrow though it rushes forward at Jessica who is completely defenseless still lying on her backside.  Just as it’s about to attack her Nathan smashes it on the back of the head with his sword cleaving its skull in two.  Jessica lets out a sigh of relief as the skeleton falls to the ground as a pile of bones.

Elisha quickly grabs her arrow from the closet skeleton and grabs the weapons near them.  With a bit of effort she manages to cram the weapons into the loot bag.  Meanwhile Nathan holds out his hand and helps Jessica to her feet.

“Let’s try a different direction” says Nathan.

Jessica merely nods silently.  They walk back the way they came and this time go in the direction Elisha pointed.  As they follow it along they pass by a T junction and end up at a burial room which stops as a dead end.

Elisha glares at the dead end for a moment.  “It must have been the other way on the T junction”

They quickly backtrack and go the other way only to end up at yet another burial room that ends as a dead end.  Elisha’s brow twitches in anger as she glares at the dead end.

Jessica smirks.  “So much for your way”

“You’re not helping” snaps Nathan.

Jessica quickly goes quiet and hangs her head down.  They backtrack and this time take the third and final way out of the room.  They continue along the long hallway until they come to a stop at a crossroad.  They each look in a different direction and point as they say “That way”.  They quickly all turn to each other with dreary expressions.

Nathan sighs.  “Well I think it’s pretty safe to say were totally lost”

Elisha sighs. “I can’t believe we’re lost.  Next time we go in any place like this I’m leaving markers on every corner”

Nathan cups his chin in thought.  “Well, we should probably start doing that now.  Maybe we’ll find our way out easier”

Elisha nods.  “That’s true”.  Elisha quickly draws her sword and scrapes an arrow on the floor in the direction their heading.  “Let’s go this way”

They quickly head in the direction she marked and follow the hallway along.  After a good hour of running in circles and making markers they walk around the corner finding a T junction as they bump into a group of dark elves, one male and two females.  The three of them look very similar to the gang even using the same type of armor and weapons.

At exactly the same time Jessica and her dark elf counterpart rush towards each other and start to speak.  “Do you know how to get out of here?  We’re lost”

Jessica turns a little pale.  “Uh, you’re lost too huh?”

The dark elf woman turns pale and rubs the back of her.  “Ahahahaha, yeah, yeah we are”

The dark elf male lets out a heavy sigh.  “We’re never gonna find our way out of here let’s just take a portal back to Salandee.

“Hang on which direction did you guys come from?” asks Nathan.

The male dark elf points behind him with his thumb.  “Back there”

Nathan points behind them with his thumb.  “Well we came from back there”

The two groups turn to face the only remaining direction.

“That means…” starts the female dark elf similar to Elisha.

“That’s the direction we should head” says Elisha.

After only a few minutes of walking down the hallway they quickly realize their on the right path to the entrance of the crypt.

“Wow we actually found it” says Nathan.

“It’s about time” says female dark elf similiar Elisha.

“So what were you guys doing down here?” asks Jessica.

“We came down here because we heard the place had bandits but someone already beat us to it” says the female dark elf similiar Jessica.

“Uh, that’d be us”

The two groups continue along the hallway while talking to each other.  Eventually they head up the stairway and come out into the sunlight.  With that the two groups face each other.

“Thanks for the help.  If you guys weren’t here we’d probably still be lost in there” says the male dark elf.

“Same goes for us” says Nathan.

With that they wave goodbye to each other as the groups go their separate way.  After a few minutes of walking the gang comes to a break in the trees as they arrive at a beautiful clear 7 foot wide stream that’s flowing through the forest.

Jessica looks at the water seeming depressed.  “I guess we have to get wet do we?”

“I guess it’s either that or we spend the next hour or two walking to a bridge” says Elisha.

Nathan glances down the stream to the south spotting a tree that’s fallen over it.  “Maybe we don’t have to take a look”.  Nathan points down to the south and the girls quickly focus their attention on the fallen tree.

Jessica lets out a sigh.  “Oh good”

They walk down south to the fallen tree.  Nathan casually walks across it but Jessica walks along it slowly holding her arms out as she tries to maintain her balance which she almost looses twice.

Elisha watches her seeming almost amused.  “What are you doing?

Jessica glances back at her.  “What’s it look like?  Trying to cross without falling in”

Elisha shakes her head and lets Jessica get across.  Once she is she calmly walks across the fallen tree without falling in or loosing her balance.

Nathan turns to the girls.  “Let’s get a little further in before teleporting just to be sure we don’t end up Salandee”

“Good idea.  It’d suck to end up there after all that trouble we went through” says Jessica.

After walking a few minutes into the forest Elisha stops and says “This should be far enough”

Jessica stops and smiles.  “I’ll do the portal”

Jessica takes a portal scroll out of her bag and quickly reads over the text.  After the portal forms they quickly rush through it and exit the stone room heading onto the streets of Ralion.

Elisha stops and points up at the sky.  “Hey look at that”

Nathan and Jessica look to the sky.  Moments after dozens of other people do the same as a large shadow closes over the street.  Overhead a massive 30 foot brown dragon with a large bulky body and spikes on its head slowly closes in on the street.

“Holy cow” says Nathan.

Jessica takes a step back in fear.  “Uh, guys, it’s, it’s heading this way”

Before they have a chance to move the massive dragon slams onto the street with its feet almost plowing up the cobblestones in the process.  Its wings blow up a massive rush of dust that fills the streets and only slowly begins to settle down as the dragon’s wings stop flapping.

On top of the dragon seated on its back is a human woman with short blond hair and a set of eerie dark red eyes.  As would be expected of someone riding a dragon she’s wearing a set of armor to match.  From head to toe she’s covered in heavy black Saserion plate armor.  A metal that’s only worn by demons due to its insane weight which is one hundred times heavier than steel and fifty times stronger.  Due to how the metal is mined and its strengths it value ranks in the hundreds of thousands as an S grade armor and it’s one of the most powerful in existence.

“Easy, we really gotta work on your landings” says the woman.  Her body turns to a cloud of black mist which flies off the dragon and stops in front of the gang before quickly reforming as the woman’s body.  “Sorry about that, he’s still learning to fly”

“You, you have a dragon?” asks Elisha.

“Yeah he’s a good boy but he’s still very young and a bit hyper.  Come on Draco let’s get you something to eat”

The dragon suddenly shrinks to look like a baby no larger than your average household cat.  He quickly flies up and lands on the woman’s shoulder.  She smiles and pats him on the head as she walks off casually.

“Wow” says Jessica.

“That was definitely an S class person” says Nathan.

“Not only that.  That was the Shade race, a type of demon.  It’s supposed to near impossible to unlock” says Elisha.

“Yeah but to top it all off she had a pet dragon” says Jessica.

“Well anyway we need to find a shop to sell all this junk to that we picked up” says Nathan.

Elisha pulls out her map and looks it over carefully.  “Hmm…this place might handle stuff like that.  It’s not far from here either”

They head off through the streets following Elisha until they come to stop at shop called The Good Offer.  As they head inside they find the shelves and walls are filled with all sorts of items armor, weapons, alchemy equipment, bags, potion vials and many more things.  Up behind the counter is a young male human with scruffy blond hair and a set of blue eyes.  He lets out a yawn as he leans against the counter waiting for customers to arrive.

Hearing the gang enter he perks up and looks at them then smiles.  “Hey what can I do for you three today?”

“We’re looking to sell off some stuff we picked up off bandits.  Armor, weapons and a bunch of random junk” says Nathan.

“Well you came to the right place then.  I buy and sell just about anything here.  Oh I’m Chris by the way.  If you got the stuff with you I can take a look over it now”

Elisha takes off the loot bag.  “Just tip it on the floor?”

Chris points to an empty corner.  “Sure tip it out over there”

Elisha walks over to the corner and holds the bag upside down.  Immediately items start pouring out of the bag and pouring and pouring and pouring until a mountain almost up to Elisha’s chest is formed.

Chris gives out a low whistle seeing all the stuff.  “You guys picked up quite a bit”

“So what do you think?” asks Elisha.

Chris comes out from behind the counter and looks over the pile carefully.  “Hmm most of this stuff is pretty low quality but…I’d have to look through it all properly.  If you want you can come back in half an hour by then I should have looked through everything.  Why don’t you guys go get some lunch in the meantime?”

Elisha turns to her friends.  “What do you think?”

Nathan nods.  “Sure why not.  I gotta be honest I’m curious what food tastes like here”

Jessica smiles.  “Me too”

“Here, catch” says Chris.  He takes a small silver coin out of his pocket and tosses it to Elisha.  “That should be enough to buy you three lunch.  Consider it a down payment on this stuff”

With that they head outside onto the streets.  Jessica quickly looks around at the shops near them.  “Mmm where do you think we can get some lunch?”

“I’m sure I saw an inn on the way over here.  It’s not far, follow me” says Elisha.

She runs off down the street and turns the corner where they find an inn.  As they head inside they find it’s a large building with wooden interior with a staircase leading upstairs to rooms and the main floor filled with a dozen tables with chairs.  As they look around they quickly realize the he place is packed with adventurers of all races who are sitting around talking, drinking and eating.

Nathan looks around for a free table then points over at the window on the far side.  “There’s a free table”

They quickly walk over to the table but when they get there they find it isn’t exactly free.  On the table toward the center is a group of three female pixies sitting on thimbles around a small plate with miniature portions of food on it.  To drink, by their sides each of them has a thimble filled with beer.

Each of the pixies looks like a normal human with the addition of a set of beautiful butterfly wings on their backs and slightly pointed ears.  The main difference though is their one tenth of a normal human’s height making them no more than 6 inches tall.  Despite their miniature size they still look like adventurers as two of them are dressed in heavy plate armor and third is dressed in elegant mage clothing.

The fairy wearing mage armor who looks absolutely sloshed holds up a hand and says “This tables taken ahahahaha”.  After finishing her sentence she promptly falls backwards off her thimble chair.

One of the fairies in plate armor shakes her head.  “I wish you would stop drinking until your drunk”

“I told you she’s an alcoholic” says the other fairy in plate armor.

The mage fairy sits up and looks at her thimble of beer.  “These portions are so big ahahahah”

“No it’s just that you’re so small”.  The two fighter fairies turn and look up at the gang as they look down at them.  “Do you guys want something?”

“Uh, sorry we were looking for a table” says Nathan.

“Well as you can see this ones taken”

Jessica looks over them with huge eyes.  “You guys are fairies?”

One of the fighter fairies sighs.  “Yeah we went through the trouble of unlocking the fairy race.  Now if you don’t mind?”.  She motions her hands for them to leave.

“Sorry for interrupting you three” says Elisha.

They quickly walk off leaving the fairies alone and find an empty table nearby.  As they sit down Jessica looks around the room at all the people half of which look like their armor is worth one thousand times more than the building their in.  “There’s so many strong players here.  I wonder if we’ll ever get that strong” says Jessica.

“We will, but it’s going to take some time” says Elisha.

A female elf wearing a skimpy waitress outfit suddenly appears in front of them.  “What can I get you three?”

“Uh, what kind of stuff do you serve here?” asks Nathan.

The waitress smiles. “For drinks we serve beer, wine, red and white as well as water.  For food we have chicken or pork with mashed potatoes and a side of veggies.  Spagetti…”

Nathan cuts her off.  “I’ll just have some chicken and mashed potatoes with veggies then”

“Me too” says Jessica.

“I’ll have the pork instead and a glass of red wine” says Elisha.

Jessica looks at her with wide eyes.  “Wine?  You’re kidding right?”

Elisha shakes her head.  “No, I’m not”

“Would either of you like anything to drink?” asks the waitress.

“Just water for me thanks” says Nathan.

Jessica glares at Elisha then turns to the waitress.  “I’ll have a beer”

“Okay it’ll just be a few minutes” says the waitress before walking off.

“Now you’re having a beer?” asks Nathan.

Jessica looks at Elisha accusingly.  “Well she’s having a glass of wine”

Nathan sighs hearing her explanation.  A few minutes later the waitress comes back balancing their plates and drinks on her arms.  She carefully puts them on the table then smiles.

“Enjoy your meal” says the waitress before walking off.

Nathan looks at it for a moment then tries a bit.  “Mmm this is delicious”

Jessica and Elisha look at their food briefly then start eating themselves.

“This tastes just like the real thing” says Jessica.

“Interesting how they managed to get it so real” says Elisha.

After finishing their meals Elisha picks up her glass of wine and sips at it slowly.  Jessica seeing her drinking the wine grabs a hold of her glass of beer and tries a bit.  She makes a weird face not really liking the taste but then looking at Elisha drinking her alcohol.  Seeing Elisha sipping away at her wine she quickly downs the glass in one gulp.  After a few moments she puts a hand to her face.

“Uhh, that went straight to my head” says Jessica.

Elisha smirks.  “Humph that’s what you get for drinking it in one go when you’ve never drunk it before”

Nathan puts a hand over Jessica’s shoulder as he looks at her concerned.  “You okay?”

Jessica nods slightly.  “Yeah, just went to my head too much.  Little, woozy”

Elisha smirks deeper.  “I’d say she’s about this close”.  She holds up her hand showing a small space between her finger and thumb.  “To getting drunk.  You better not throw up”

Jessica holds a hand to her forehead.  “I’m fine, my head just hurts a bit”.  Suddenly her eyes go wide.  She quickly puts a hand over her mouth and runs off.

Elisha collapses to the table and starts laughing hysterically.  “Oh that’ll teach her for drinking just because I do”

Nathan can’t help but grin slightly.  “Do me a favor and don’t pick on her when she comes back”

Elisha tries to choke down her laughter as she waves her hand at him.  “Fine fine”

A few minutes later Jessica comes back looking slightly pale.  She sits down in her seat silently waiting for them to say something but it doesn’t come.  “Aren’t you guys going to make fun of me?”

Elisha grins.  “Hmm I didn’t know you wanted me to”

“Next time don’t drink it down so fast.  It’s no surprise you threw up” says Nathan.

Elisha drinks down the last few drops in her glass then sits the glass on the table.  “Mmm that was a great meal”

The waitress seeing their done comes over to them with a smile.  “Can I get you three anything else?”

“No, we’re fine thank you.  What do we owe you?” asks Nathan.

“With the meals and drinks that’s 30 Ethian”

“That’s pretty reasonable” says Nathan.

Elisha pulls out the small silver coin and hands it to the waitress.  “Keep the change”

The waitress smiles.  “Thank you”.  With that she bows and leaves.

“Well I suppose we should go see if Chris has finished sorting through all that stuff” says Elisha.

They slowly get up out of their seats and head back over to the shop.  When they walk in they find Chris looking over their pile of junk which is now neatly sorted along the floor into various types of items.

“So how’d it go?” asks Elisha.

Chris looks up at them.  “Oh hey, well I sorted through everything.  Some of its real junk but there’s some good stuff too.  Obviously you kept the best stuff for yourselves.  All up how about 8,000”

“That’s quite a bit”

“Yeah that’s much more than I expected” says Nathan.

“Well some of the alchemy equipment and the herbs are worth quite a lot.  So I think it’s a fair price” says Chris.

“Well its fine with us” says Elisha.

Chris rummages in his pocket and hands Elisha eight large gold coins.  “Thanks for the business”

They thank him and head out of the store onto the street again.  Nathan rubs the back of his head.  “So what should we do now?”

“I don’t know I honestly don’t really feel like fighting anymore today” says Elisha.

Jessica grins broadly then jumps in the air and yells “Let’s go shopping”

Nathan looks at her blankly.  “We got a bit of money now but I think we should save it”

Jessica smiles.  “Window shopping, we can walk around town check out the sights and get to know the place”

Elisha thinks it over.  “Hmm it’s not such a bad idea”

“Alright as long as I don’t have to stand around for the next few hours watching you try on clothes” says Nathan.

Jessica pouts.  “Oh come on”

Nathan glares at her.  “That’s really what you intended to do wasn’t it?”

Jessica turns a little pale.  “Uh, kinda”

“Like I said”

“Okay, okay, I wont try on any clothes…”.  Jessica mumbles the rest.  “This time”

“What was that?” asks Nathan.

Jessica waves her hands in front of her.  “Nothing, nothing, well let’s get going”

With that they start walking around town taking in the sights.  After almost two hours of window shopping and pushing through crowds on the street they walk along heading to their next destination.  As they do a succubus, the male counterpart of an Incubus suddenly runs up and hugs Jessica.  The succubus is a mere 5ft tall with short strawberry blond hair down to her chin and a set of sparkling happy yellow eyes.

Seeing her half crushing Jessica to death two other female succubi walk over.  Both are 5’8ft tall, one has long raven black hair down to her backside with dark red eyes.  The other has short black hair that’s cut into a boyish style with dark red eyes.  All three of them look to be in their 20s and are wearing black leather clothing with metal spikes and chains built into and around the clothing.

Jessica frantically tries to dislodge the woman from her side.  “Hey get the hell off me, who are you?”

The woman looks up at her and smiles broadly with her tail wagging like a puppy.  “You’re Jessie right?”

Jessica freezes in surprise.  “Umm, yeah”

The woman rubs up against her.  “Oh you’re so cute grown up”

The succubus with long black hair folds her arms.  “Well I guess she had to get it right eventually”

The other succubus smiles.  “Thirty-seventh time is the charm I guess”

Jessica quickly resumes trying to pry the woman off her.  “Get off me, just who the hell are you?”

The succubus rubs her head into Jessica’s chest.  “Oh don’t you recognize your mommy?”

Jessica freezes and turns beet red.  “MUM?” squeals Jessica.

“Mum?  Then that must mean” says Nathan.  He turns his gaze to the other two.

The succubus with short hair waves at him.  “Hi Nathan”

Elisha looks at her mother seeming annoyed by her presence in Eden.  “Let me guess, you’re my mother?”

Elisha’s mother sighs.  “Well somebody had to baby sit these two.  Especially her”.  She points a finger over at Jessica’s mum who’s busy smiling and bouncing around like a child.  “Even to this day I still can’t believe she’s an adult”

“Mum what are you doing here?” asks Nathan.  He quickly turns red in the face as he looks over her body.  “And why do you look so, so…”

She grins widely.  “Don’t I look hot?  I made this character after myself when I was much younger”

“What are you doing here though with Jess and Elisha’s mums?”

She looks at him confused.  “I told you me and my friends were thinking of playing”

“Yeah but…”

“Who were you expecting?”

Nathan sighs shakes his head.  “I don’t know”

Elisha glares at her mother.  “I’m not playing with you”

“Good because I’m not playing with you.  You’d only slow me down” says Elisha’s mother.

“What did you say?” snaps Elisha.

Elisha’s mother flicks her hair back with a hand a smirks.  “You may be good with archery but with anything else you’re a dead fish in the water.  You can’t even cook”

Nathan looks around, Jessica’s mother is still bouncing around Jessica only now their both talking excitedly to each other.  Meanwhile Elisha and her mother are talking coldly to each other.  “You know, it’s, kind of frightening how close family members resemble each other” says Nathan.

Nathan’s mother lets out a sigh and shakes her head.  “Those two give me a headache sometimes”

“Look mum, it’s nice you’re trying out Eden but we’re not joining you guys.  We’re here to enjoy ourselves on our own”

Nathan’s mother smiles warmly.  “That goes for us too.  We had no intention of joining you guys but she insisted we look for you so we can say hi”.  She motions her hand over at Jessica’s mother.  “Honestly I think we should have made a better dwarf than she does a demon”

“Well we better get going” says Nathan.

“I suppose we should too”.  Nathan’s mother walks over to the other two and forcibly drags them off while saying “Come on let’s go”.

Elisha sighs.  “Thank god their gone.  My mum can be a real bitch sometimes”.  Jessica and Nathan stare at her silently.  Elisha looks at them oddly.  “What?”

Jessica and Nathan both motion their hand from side to side and say “Nothing”.  After several more hours of looking through the shops the sky begins to grow dark and sunset quickly turns to night.  Suddenly Elisha stops as she’s informed about the usual timer going off.

“The timer just went off, it’s 8 o’clock” says Elisha.

“Mmm, already?” grumbles Jessica.

Nathan glares at her.  “What do you mean already?  We’ve been walking around town all afternoon.  Besides its pitch black now”

“Logout” says Elisha.

“Hey, wait up” says Jessica.

Back in the real world Elisha sits up and takes off her helmet.  Moments later Jessica and Nathan sit up and remove their helmets as well.  Nathan quickly puts a hand to his face and rubs his eyes.

“Man I’m tired” says Nathan.

Jessica sighs.  “Me too”

“Well we were in Eden for twelve hours so what do you expect” says Elisha.

“I guess, odd I don’t feel all that hungry” says Nathan.

“We were probably given at least one nutrient injection”

“That’s right, I guess they help a bit with hunger too”.  Nathan stands up and stretches.  “Well I’ll meet you two in the lobby, I gotta go to the bathroom”

Elisha stands up and stretches briefly.  “Don’t bother I need to as well”

Jessica turns a little pale and raises her hand slightly.  “Y-yeah”

A while later Nathan exits through a door into the hallway.  He goes over to the wall and leans against it as he waits for the girls.  A few moments later Elisha comes out of from the door quickly followed by Jessica.

“So are we on for tomorrow?” asks Elisha.

“Ugh, tomorrow?  I don’t know if I can put up with you two fighting again” says Nathan.

Elisha glares at Jessica.  “We were only fighting because SOMEONE had a problem of wearing a dead persons clothes”

“Well excuse me for having emotions Miss heartless” says Jessica.

Nathan waves his hands.  “ENOUGH.  This is exactly what I’m talking about”

“S-sorry” says Elisha.

Nathan lets out a heavy sigh.  “Look I’ll come tomorrow but you two better not spend the whole time bickering.  Deal?”

Jessica and Elisha look at each other then at Nathan and reply “Deal”.
