Thanks for the inspiration. Stories have been pouring out of me, so I can use all the starting points I can find. Malinov ~~~ The Mating of the Muse-Faerie A score of days or more I climbed To reach the craggy mountain peak They said, those ancient tomes of lore, A shallow nook would bear my view My hands torn bloody with ascent While hunger gripped my belly sore I pulled myself onto the ledge And waited patient three days more The morning of the fourth she came The winged muse, a woman's form Her flesh cast quick with faerie's tail Perched proud atop the eagle's nest A chasm lay between us, but I saw Within her eyes a hunger fierce The Faerie paused to note my gaze Smiled, then leapt in wild descent Into the valley far below, her wings Stretched wide to ride the wind She swooped into the forest glen A falcon's strike was ne'er so bold A mad shriek pierced the forest leaves I waited, shocked by each crass blow A rabbit's scurry to escape sharp claws Echoed the struggle of the prey below A rustle in the boughs soon brought The silvered muse's hard feathered strokes Lifting slowly a woman's limp form To lofty heights and rites untold A thousand moons swell and depart And none shall glimpse a Muse Faerie Except as flitters in nocturnal light And in dreams of poets best inspired But at the heights of Apollo's peak The Muse Faerie must breed as all Who thrive upon our worldly plane Must kiss and bear reflections new She lay the maiden upon the nest Hovered softly as the summer's breeze An eyelid fluttered, a sweet caress Brought the bride awake, yet mild Some sapphic song the Faerie tolled To ease the fears in both our breasts A lullaby while she unfurled the dress Her lady wore and kissed her next I watched, ashamed, excited, bold Frozen in lust's fiery rage To spy their naked beauty played With perfect wantoness The silver Faerie spread wide her legs Sunlight seemed to burn within The caverns of her sacred womb The maiden kissed the liquid fire Their breasts pressed hard together Their eyes seemed bound in gaze Their fingers played the curves of flesh Their bodies pealed angelic tones The muse's bride, no maiden more Slept when all their love had spent The Faerie fled when the sun soon set In revelry I composed, inspired And as the full moon rose above The maiden's wings spread hence Her skin drank Luna's silver hue A night's tail dangled from behind She flew at once to where I sat "Descend," she said, her voice a song "Tell tales," she said, commandingly "And I will love thee ever more." And in a flash the new-born Faerie left I went down the craggy mountain sore Weary in flesh, Alive in my heart By Beauty inspired forever more ~~~ Malinov Power belongs to those who dare. . .
