wondering if you'd mind if we swapped wives for the weekend and 
I'll take Marlaina with me to Louisville for the weekend, and leave 
Judy with you? I said, Let's go in and check with Marlaina first. 

He nodded and we went in the house. I found her packing I checked 
it out and said, I feel like I'm being set up for something. Judy 
said, You are me. Marlaina and I were talking and I knew this trip 
was coming up and didn't want to go. Marlaina said, She'd love to 
go and Carl wants someone along to help him set up his booth. I 
looked at Marlaina and said, You could have called work and left a 
note to call you Instead you just assume it's okay? She said but?  
I said, I don't mind you going, it's being taken for granted like 
you accuse me of doing to you. That's what's got me bugged. Go on 
this time.  But don't do this to me again. Judy, Carl. I'm sorry to 
act so rude in front of you. But it needed said, I feel, well,

I turned and grabbed some clean clothes. Marlaina stopped me and

I went over to her and sat down close to her and said, Judy be

I. Will you tell me at least that I'm onto something. She looked at 
me puzzled and said, If I know the answer to it. I stood and paced

I pulled to the side of the road and said, Please tell me about it?

again, when we arrived at her home I carried her bag to the front

out. She said, Allen please. I said, When you become my friend,

her come in and clean up. As she showered I slipped into the

it away. I said, Now Marlaina tell me? Why must I become a

But I must say one thing first. I sighed and said, If you speak 
another word I'll leave. from the door Judy said, Allen please at 
least listen to her first. I sighed and said, You too? Very well. 
Arala speak. She said, We all have seen that you enjoy being Trena. 
Why are you so against it?  I said, Marlaina; She told them my

there with her the police and the doctors will want you to make a

shrinks think you're able to handle life and I will be here or 
where ever you need me to be. I said, I am not worthy Judy. She 
said, You are Allen. I said, No permanent slavery? She said, None. 

I said, Well then, let's get started. Call the doctor in here 
please. She said, The doctor has been in here for some time now. I 
said, Really? I never bothered asking what line of work you were 
in. She sighed and said Allen, I'm a shrink, Yes, But. I can't be 
yours. Conflict of interests.  Your doctor will be Dwayne R. Suess. 
He's very good. Please listen to him. I said, I will Judy. She 
said, Then I'll call him.

My third day in the hospital Marlaina had come and under the 
supervision of Dr. Suess and Judy we were allowed to visit. She was 
very upset that I'd tried suicide and was scared I'd try it again. 
I said just don't try to push me into a corner. I'm still willing 
to go on as we were but the permanent stuff is out period do you 
agree? She said, Yes Allen. I promise you!

Six months passed and I was released to society. I found that Judy 
and Marlaina had both not been idle. I still had a job at the mall 
and Marlaina had taken Judy into our home.

After my release and return to work. Judy and Marlaina waited a

surprise party.  I got off of work on Friday and got home and found

and Marlaina. I said, Tom I wasn't, it was Arala, she was saying

out on the girls and got away. That's what we were talking about 
when you pulled up. Hope you'll forgive me. He hugged me and said, 
I'll speak to her about it then. I said, The girls are now. He 
chuckled and said, Life, don't you just love it? I said, At times 
and kissed him. The three women came in shortly and Arala came to 
me and said, Allen I'm sorry if I upset you, You're one of our best 
friends and I don't want to ever lose you. She held me tight then 
kissed me and looked me in the eyes and said, Tell me next time 
don't just leave. I grinned.

The following day when I got home, Marlaina and Judy were 
sunbathing on the front lawn. I went in and got a camera and took

camera away and showered, then as I dressed the phone rang. It was 
Arala. She said her friend from college was there and they were 
coming over to meet us. I said, The girls were asleep in the yard

Tears were streaming down my face now and I said, When at first you

woman said, What me? I don't even know him. She stepped up to me 
and said, Not much of a man! I don't remember moving from 
Marlaina's arms, but I lashed out at her. My fist made contact with 
her jaw and she fell, out cold. the girls tried to pull me back but 
I grabbed her and took her to the front yard and yelled for her two 
Sissy-Marys to help her saying she'd fallen. they came running. and 
got her into Arala's car then I turned and began to run. I ran for 
several miles into the forest near our home. I fell, finally 
exhausted. I caught my breath, and standing started to jog home.

I walked the last mile and seen that Judy and Marlaina were both 
pacing the yard, and as I emerged from the forest they ran to me. I 
knelt as they got close and both dropped beside me. hugging and 
kissing me. Then began chewing me out for running away from them. I 
said, I hit that woman. I was so ashamed. I looked at Marlaina 
deeply and then Judy and said, All my mind could see was her

the idea you all may have been setting me up for it, and that was 
why she was here. Judy said, No! Marlaina said, No for me too. I 
said, Perhaps I should just bring "Trena" back to life, do the
