Chapter One - Setting Out the Pieces John Conners was a very content man. He was considered by all who knew him to be the smartest, best dressed, handsomest, wealthiest, and most important man in all of Harmony Falls. He himself was in full agreement with all these estimates. He sometimes worried that this might mean he was egotistical, but then he recalled that egotism was a character flaw, and he knew he had no faults. He certainly had a right to be proud. After all he had been an obscure bank employee when he arrived in the little hill country town. Now, the town had grown and he had as well. He owned the bank and was the most successful lawyer in the county. He had swept the prettiest girl in town, Anne Johnson, off her feet and married her within three months of his arrival. She had borne him a son of whom he was very proud and three lovely girls. Tommy was now sixteen. Naturally he was at the top of his class, captain of the football team, the forlorn hope of every girl at Harmony High. There was just enough of the rebel in him to make his father smile at the high jinx of youth. The girls were Angela, Sharon, and Debby, three devastating redheads. Angela was a fourteen-year-old vision of beauty, Sharon was twelve and her budding body was driving the boys in her middle school to the brink of madness, while Debby was the prettiest seven-year-old you could imagine. All were excellent students and obedient and loving daughters. Of course, he admitted to himself, the competition had not been all that stiff. This was the sort of town where the TV station called wrestling "cultural programming". Outside of his own home he considered the people in this community to be uneducated clods. A bunch of hard scrabble dirt farmers, ribbon clerks, housewives, and bible thumpers. That was really the only cloud on his horizon. This town and the people in it were beneath him. His own wife, while pretty enough, had simply been the best available. And she had improved by being in his presence. Still he was worried about his children. How could they hope to find acceptable mates in this backwater wasteland. Finally he had had to make a desperate decision. His blood line was going to be preserved, pure and reinforced. The means were at hand. All it took was the will to do it. And nobody ever accused John Conners of lacking will. He had laid the ground work years before. Declaring that the schools' science departments were inadequate (which was true) John began home schooling for his children in biology. He expounded his own beliefs especially in the area of genetics. He told his children that the union of a superior person with an inferior one was likely to produce an inferior offspring. He was careful to avoid any charge of racism. He told them that superior individuals were produced by all races and ethnic groups. It wasn't any particular race he wanted them to avoid. It was the general run of humanity he despised. John then explained his belief that superior people should only mate with their peers, and that no other restrictions should be imposed. After years of indoctrination the children were almost ready. In fact, the glances he saw Tommy giving his sisters showed that it was time to put the plan into practice. One cool autumn afternoon John began. "Hey, Tommy, I need to talk to you in the study," John called to his son as the boy came in from practice. "Sure, Dad. Be there soon as I get a shower." "Fine, take your time. There is something I need to do first," John said. Going to the study he took the phone and called across town to his mistress Jane Sullivan. When she answered the conversation was short and too the point. "Jane, this is John Conners. Put Beth in a cab and send her over immediately. Tell the driver I will pay upon her arrival." Jane Sullivan was a pretty, buxom blonde who had always been second to Anne Johnson in everything. As long as there was two of something to be had that hadn't been so bad. But there had only been one John Conners and when Jane lost him to Anne it destroyed what was left of her self-esteem. Jane had really loved John and when he appeared on her doorstep during Anne's first pregnancy she had been willing to do anything for him. Her virginity and her honor were lost that night, but Jane had never been happier. Then Tommy was born, Anne resumed her role as John's bedmate and he left Jane without a second thought. She might have gotten over that, but when Anne became pregnant with Angela John appeared again, assuming he would pick up with her again as if nothing had happened. And she had let him. After Angela was born John had come by occasionally to give her what he bluntly told her were mercy fucks. And that gave Jane her chance to defy John in the only way she wanted to. Jane so wanted to be with John that she had remained on good terms with Anne. When she learned that Anne was planning another baby Jane decided to get pregnant as well. Beth had actually been born a few weeks before her half-sister Sharon. Now John was going to take Beth away. Jane knew that was the meaning of his call. She wanted to fight for her daughter, but John had crushed her will so long ago that she knew she would send their daughter to him. Jane dressed her daughter in her finest clothes, kissed her, put her in a cab and watched as it pulled away. She knew that she would never see Beth again. While waiting for his illegitimate daughter to arrive John began his conversation with Tommy. "So, son, how's it hanging? You getting any?" "Aw, Dad, don't tease. There's almost nobody around here I would want to fuck. They're not good enough." Inwardly John was pleased, but he wanted to be sure that the indoctrination was complete. That "almost" had to be cleared up. "You said 'almost" nobody you want to fuck. Who do you think is good enough?" Without much warning Tommy had been brought to a moment of truth. He thought he understood what his dad was driving at in those genetics lectures. But now he would have to say it out loud and see if he got smacked down. "As far as I can tell, Dad, the only ones around here that measure up are the girls. Maybe Mom, but she isn't really a Conners." "Good thinking, Son, up to a point. The truth is, the girls are mine. But, don't worry, I don't intend to leave you in the lurch. You know Beth Sullivan?" "Yeah," said Tommy, "she's in Sharon's class. Smart and cute and..." John cut in, "And she looks more than a little like your sisters, don't she?" Tommy nodded. John smiled at his son and said, "Easiest thing in the world to explain. When your mom is carrying, she doesn't like to fuck. Keep that in mind if you ever decide to knock her up. So I used her old girlfriend Jane Sullivan as a safety valve. Beth is your half sister and your future wife. "You won't having any legal trouble. My name isn't on any record that would connect us, and if I know Jane like I think I do, she won't be any trouble." John sat closer to his son. "Beth will be here shortly. She doesn't know about me and her mom, and I leave it up to you as whether or not she ever finds out. I want you to court her and bed her before the semester is up. I figure that way she will have her first kid during the summer and so won't have to miss school. "You got any objections?" "Well, gee Dad, suppose she doesn't go for it? I mean, you've been training me and the girls for this for years. She is an outsider and may not think the same way." Now John was getting pissed. "Aren't you listening to me? I told she doesn't know about me. To her this won't be incest. Unless you decide to tell her, which might be fun after she has had a couple of your brats." Tommy had only one more objection to raise. "Suppose you're wrong about Ms. Sullivan. She could raise a ruckus, there would be blood tests, and bam, we're all in jail." "I'm not worried," John replied. "But to be on the safe side, you can take it slow for a while until I can show you she is safe. The silly cow is hopelessly in love with me; I'll tell her that even if she couldn't marry me, her daughter can marry my son. That it is incest will just be something she will have to handle in her own way." "Okay, Dad, I'd love to knock up my little half-sister," Tommy said. "But there is one other thing. You just said something about me deciding to knock up Mom?!" "Yeah, son. I know every boy want to fuck his mother, so I'm giving you your mom. At least, I'm giving you permission. You have to talk her into your bed and off birth control if you want to father your own sibling, but I won't get in your way. After all, I'll have my own little harem to take care of." Tommy decided to be a little assertive; he wanted his father to know that he wasn't always this easy to manipulate. "Hardly fair, you get three virgins, I get your bastard and your leftovers. I should get at least one of the girls. How about Sharon?" "Forget it kid," snarled John. "Understand me on this. I set this up and it'll be done my way, or you can forget about your mom and Beth. I keep them all" Then John smirked, "Besides, after I'm gone, I'm sure you can get your sisters to join you and your mother in bed with Beth." About five minutes later the Beth Sullivan arrived at her father's home for the first time. She knew the Conners, of course. Like most of the girls in Harmony Falls she got wet panties every time she thought of Tommy Conners. Unlike the other girls, however, she got on well with the Conners girls. Sharon was a good friend at school, although she had never invited Beth to her home. (Sharon would have, but, John forbade it. He wanted to bring Beth into the family in his own time, and in his own way.) The size of the Conners home was a little intimidating and the servants made her nervous. They made it clear that as far as they were concerned, she was just "white trash" who had somehow been allowed to use the front door. John acted surprised to see her, but put on a friendly front and asked her into the study for a short talk. The girl was neither hard to talk to, nor hard to look at Beth had her mother's long blond hair and cornflower blue eyes. And at twelve she had started to blossom. She wasn't wearing a bra and her dress tended to cling to her body. Just as John had told Jane all women should dress. The little girl's tits were small of course, but shapely and firm, with nipples which had erected from the excitement of visiting the Conners home, and the arousing feel of her silk dress sliding across them. Her hips had already widened into a beautiful saddle to cradle a lover, or to deliver a baby. And the legs that supported those hips were long and shapely Now as she sat in John Conners study, Beth was losing her fear. "Momma just put me in the cab and said I was to come here, Mr. Conners. She didn't say why," Beth said in answer to John's question. John was pleased. Jane had followed his instructions and had shown no trace of initiative. "Well, Beth, we are all very glad to have you here. Your mom and Mrs. Conners are old friends, and I know Sharon likes you a lot. I'll have a talk with your mother later and we'll see what's what. "In the meantime, why don't you go out to the stables and Sharon can show you the horses. Maybe you'd like to go riding?" "Th..Th..Thank you, Mr. Conners, but I don't know how to ride." "No problem. If you are with us very long I can get you an instructor. Run along now." John watched as Beth left the room. He was rather sorry he had promised her to Tommy. Then again, he had never said that the boy could have her all to himself. Tommy Conners watched from his upstairs as Sharon and Beth walked to the stables. He was more than pleased with the looks of his new little sister. She would be fun to seduce, to fuck and then knock up. He figured he take his father's advice. Once they were married and had a couple of kids he would tell he who her father was. It should be fun to watch her psyche shatter under such a blow. He would reduce her to nothing, like her mother, and he suddenly thought, he would make her watch when he fucked their daughters. Tommy had more than a little of his father's cruelty and arrogance. But first things first. Anne Conners was already thirty-five; if they were to have as many kids as he wanted, he'd better get her in bed as soon as possible. That night at dinner the Conners family gathering was complete for the first time. Beth fit in smoothly and she was a hit with Anne especially. She was able to converse easily with the young girl because of the way John, who took charge like always, had arranged the table. Only Tommy knew that the family was now being grouped in terms of sex partners. Tommy sat between his mother and Beth, while John had Angela, Sharon and Debby as close to him as the rectangular dinner table would allow. Beth was thrilled to be sitting next to the high school's greatest heart throb, Tommy Conners. She had met him before; once at the new mall opening and later at the church ice cream social. Both times her mother had been there and had been very upset to see how she had gushed over the boy. Jane had told Beth it was not a good idea to have romantic thoughts about Tommy Conners, but as she felt Tommy's knee brush hers, she was sure her mother had been wrong about Tommy. He wasn't stuck up or anything, and he seemed to like her. She hoped he would kiss her sometime. Anne Conners watched her son flirt with little Beth Sullivan. She was glad that they were getting along so well. She knew that her old friend Jane had not had the best life and she wanted Beth to avoid the disasters that had befallen her mother. There was a little pang to know that her son was growing up and had become a magnet for girls. Soon, she knew, she would cease to be the most important female in his life. And she was only a little jealous to see how Tommy ogled the little pre-teen's body.
