"But I've got a nice surprise for you when you get home" she added, suggestively. Al just harrumphed into his cereal at the kitchen table. It'd be a surprise, Sue darling, he pondered. I can tell you've secretly invited our friends over and won't it be a surprise when I mention the affair you and Ed are having. "Yeah, too bad," he looked back slyly. As Al drove to work that day, it still burned in his brain the painful memory of seeing Sue in bed with his best friend Ed. He had come home early and thought Sue has gone out, but when he headed for his bedroom, he heard his wife moaning. He peeked into the room and his jaw dropped when he saw Ed humping away on top of his Sue. How long ago had it been since Ed changed his work schedule and started taking Tuesday's off? Three months? The work day was long and agonizing. Al could only think about this evening. The look on Sue and Ed's faces would be so wonderful! And in front of all our friends! He drove home with renewed excitement and vigor. This was it! He was a little surprised to not cars around his house, but he figured they just parked around the corner to keep the surprise element. His house was dark as he drove out. Ready to jump out, are you Sue? He unlocked his front door and walked in and paused. Nothing. He turned on the light. No one. Where were they? Not in the kitchen. Nor the patio. Ah, the bedroom. How fitting! Hi, thank you everybody for being here. Did you know this is the very room that Ed fucks my wife every Tuesday? He opened the door slowly. "Al," he heard Sue say sexily. "I've been waiting for you." Al opened the door fully. In the darkness, his wife laid out on the bed in a flimsy white negligee. His favorite. No one else was in the room. "Go stand in front of the closet," she said coyly. "I have a surprise." Disappointed that his plan had gone awry, he walked over to the closet. He saw his wife hand come up holding a black pistol. BANG! The bullet hit him square in the chest and he slumped back against the closet and slid to the floor dead. "Al, I want a divorce," Sue said laughingly Ed came out from under the bed and kissed Sue firmly on the lips.
