The "Grudgingly Good" rating indicates that I think the story is well written, but that I find some of the elements in the story so disturbing that if I were to review the story based solely on my personal tastes I would give it a "Not Good" rating. The "Not Good" rating indicates that I do not like the story. ***** REVIEWS ----- Rogue Review No. 231 - October 19, 1998 Orange County Babylon (Part 4 of 8) by MichaelD38 M/F, F/F Length: 9,400 words NOTES This is my review of the fourth part of Orange County Babylon. Part 1 - Rogue Review No. 201 Part 2 - Rogue Review No. 212 Part 3 - Rogue Review No. 221 Part 4 - Rogue Review No. 231 Since reviewing the first part I have decided not to rate the individual parts of this story. I plan on reviewing a part a week, until I have read the entire story. Once I have read the it all I will compile all the individual reviews into one big review. SUMMARY Jack's desire to dump Karen has some unforeseen consequences. COMMENTARY There is not much sex in this part of the story. There is some character development, which helps to flesh out some of the main characters. I like the way this part is divided up into sections. I think it works better than Part Three. A guy gets on and sits in front of them. The women, knowing that the guy is eavesdropping, spice up their conversation. COMMENTARY I was torn between feeling sorry for the guy, and getting aroused by the details of the story. COMMENTARY This story did not do anything for me. It did not enlighten or arouse me. This is not due to a lack of ability on the author's part, but rather is due to the fact that I, personally, could not relate to what was going on in this story. There are a large number of grammatical errors. It is not very arousing, but it is very funny.
