The "Grudgingly Good" rating indicates that I think the story is well written, but that I find some of the elements in the story so disturbing that if I were to review the story based solely on my personal tastes I would give it a "Not Good" rating. The "Not Good" rating indicates that I do not like the story. ***** REVIEWS ----- Rogue Review No. 220 - October 12, 1998 How I lost My Hair by Yosha Bourgea M/F Length: 6,600 words Rating: Good SUMMARY Paul gets his hair cut by Maggie. COMMENTARY I was not completely satisfied with the characters in the this story. Paul seemed real enough, but Maggie seemed to be more of a type than an actual character. I plan on reviewing a part a week, until I have read the entire story. Once I have read the it all I will compile all the individual reviews into one big review. SUMMARY Summer and Becky get into a fight over Jack. COMMENTARY There is not much sex in this part, until the end. This part seems to be here to advance the plot. I like the way the author has developed the characters to this point. Length: 12,800 words Rating: Excellent SUMMARY Danny's desire to show himself off, leads to more than he had in mind. COMMENTARY I found this story very arousing. It is a stroke story, but the author drags out the action, in a good way. There are parts of this story that border on pedophilia. Some readers will probably feel that it is pedophilia. If there is a gray area between pedophilia and acceptable sexual play, in my book, then this story has found it. He gets revenge, but in the process something unexpected happens. COMMENTARY The author does a good job building the plot. It is well paced. There is sex in the story, but the story is about more than just sex. Like Peter, I was fascinated by fire when I was younger, but I never found it arousing. What she is shocked by in the beginning of the story, seems like peanuts compared to what she does at the end of the story. Gina lets Allie stay with her, while she heals. COMMENTARY This story is hot. Desire is evident in both women, from page one. The author lets the intense attraction simmer for most of the story, but in the end it overflows. I think the author does a great job of letting the reader know how both women are feeling, throughout the story.
