Content: mf mmf mc Chapter 54 There was a knock on the door that Vince and Antoine were occupying on the first floor. Abigail stuck her head through the door and said, "Kids are starting to come in from the dance. I'm going to be busy, although I hope to have help. Most will be headed for the second floor, so if you stay down here any contact should be limited." Vince thought about it. "What if we want to go upstairs? Our shit is up there..." Abigail thought about it. "Well, you might want masks. He still isn't a member, but he comes under the heading of 'volunteer,' I guess. Volunteers have rules, though -- at least, female ones do." She turned her attention on Antoine. "Basically, they put out on demand -- even if they're considered to be 'hooked up' -- although we don't just make demands of the hooked up. We tend to ask first -- and we'll have a reason." Vince was down a couple of loads and feeling mellow -- but he had more available and Antoine hadn't gotten a full workout maybe -- and the whole Dark Room thing held some fascination. "What if I want to use a Dark Room?" Abigail eyed him. "What for?" "A party, I guess. Something open to gays. My little black bitch needs a workout." Vince grinned as Antoine gazed at him, wide-eyed. "I don't know how many solid gays we have," Abigail mused. "You might want to allow bisexuals." Vince nodded. "They'll know what's there and who's hosting by the lights, right?" "Right." Abigail really hadn't worked her way through the whole set of implications for the different sexual orientations using Dark Rooms. Pursing her lips, she said, "If you're going, I guess you'd better get up there. I'd use Dark Room One or Two. That way if somebody sets up something in the other room, people can go into the light lock and not out themselves, since no one will see their choice." "It's a plan," Vince agreed. "Better get up there, then, if you don't want to be seen," Abigail pointed out. "Traffic will be heavier on the second floor." "Let's go!" Vince waved Antoine in front of him. Antoine gave him a look of mixed fear and anticipation and followed Abigail out. ---------------------------------- Abigail called Toby, who was still at the restaurant. "I think I'm going to need help," she announced. "Janice and Tabitha both have dates and neither is home yet. The gay couple are still here and going to use Dark Room One for a party, apparently, and I need more shepherds." "Let me see who I can get..." Toby muted the phone. "Traffic at the clubhouse is turning out to be heavier than we thought - and someone is having a party in Dark Room One..." Terence pulled at his lip. "Mama just got off the three to eleven shift..." "Yeah, so did Ma..." He unmuted the phone. "I'll make a couple of calls. We should be able to get Ma or Louise, with a little luck." "Thanks!" Abigail gushed. "Can you call your mother?" Toby asked. "Sure..." Terence fished out his phone. ---------------------------------- "Mama?" "Terence?" Louise answered. She'd been thinking about going to bed, but wasn't tired, having been on shift all week. "There are a lot of kids going to the club after the dance to hang out -- and Abby is swamped. Are you busy?" Terence asked. "Well, no, actually..." "Can you help her mind the store?" "Yeah, sure -- why not?" Louise turned to Fred, who was snoozing in his chair. "Fred, Terence says they need some babysitters at the club." "Babysitters?" Fred grunted in surprise. "Well, people to direct traffic. I'm going -- want to?" Louise asked. "Yeah. Hell, why not? Think I can bring beer?" "For your own consumption, maybe," Louise replied. "Yeah, good enough." Louise returned to the phone. "Your father and I are both coming." "Great!" Terence relayed the news -- and Toby was pleased, because his mother's response had been, "I'm at Robert's..." Toby called Abigail and relayed, "The Carters are coming -- both of them." "Great!" Abigail exclaimed. "I'm not sure I really want to brave that room... They have this gay BDSM thing going on." Toby merely chuckled. "How did that whole thing work out?" "If the black guy was supposed to be on the bottom, I'd say fine..." Abigail opined. "Well, that's how I understood it," Toby related. "They should be fine, then." "The white kid seemed to have it all under control..." Abigail mused. "Good. Try to handle things until the Carters get there. Amy and I will be along soon, too." Toby hung up. ---------------------------------- By one-thirty, the outbound trickle from the diner had turned into a flood, but Big Jack Osborn was pleased with the results. The diner had done a week's worth of night-shift business and the two black hookers had made Jack and their young pimps a small fortune. A number of boys had 'settled' for Ginny, too, at her somewhat cheaper rate, when he could release her from waiting tables -- which wasn't until after one. Marcel showed up to settle up. "Guess that's about it," he mused, as he and Jack went over the take. "Well... The truckers and the late-night party bunch will start pretty soon. There won't be a ton of them, but if you guys hang out for a couple hours more you might gross another thousand." "No shit? Hey, Slick!" Ultimately, the three of them negotiated a reduction in Patty and Simone's rate that would make them more affordable while maintaining their 'premium' position, with Ginny offered at her regular rate. The girls would stay on, napping between johns until four a.m. In the meantime, couples went here, there, and yonder. Chris and Misha went home to Misha's -- her mother had gotten her fix earlier in the week. Donna and Mac went to Donna's -- because Noreen and Harmon were at Harmon's, trying to see whether sex was all they had in common. Other couples were taking advantage of the clubhouse. Bobby and Trish MIGHT have gone to Trish's, but Luis was there (they didn't know about Gabriel, which was just as well). Terence and Bonita could have gone to Terence's, but it wasn't as comfortable as a bedroom in the clubhouse. Damian DID take Alyssa home, Big Ed or no Big Ed -- but Randy took Bernice to the clubhouse. Tad and Anita were too much in the spotlight, so Tad reluctantly took Anita home -- only to discover that the Shepherdsons had done an about-face and he was welcomed like a son! Ellis invited him in when he and Anita arrived on the porch and Leslie got an ottoman and a pillow for Tad to rest his injured leg on -- and after a short period during which Ellis complimented him on the game and made inane conversation, Leslie got both Ellis and Butch out of the den so Tad and Anita could neck in peace! Tad had no idea how to deal with it, but Anita had a few ideas, starting with hustling upstairs to get into something 'more comfortable'... A nightgown was out, but she managed a tank top and a short skirt -- and nothing underneath... Sex was out, too, but they enjoyed themselves, anyway, for a couple of hours before Tad had to go home. Clint took Brenda to the clubhouse; he had no interest in having Brenda and his mother in the same room. In fact, he had no interest in seeing his mother at all... Isaiah and Pete and Jasmine and Tabitha rode to the clubhouse together -- and basically took over the library. They could have gone upstairs, but no one was going to bother them, anyway, and Pete and Tabitha were going to end up in Tabitha's room up the hall. Lucy O'Donnell felt like she'd gone to some effort to attain her privileged member status, so she more or less insisted that Eddie Ray and Nicky head up to the second floor, where initially they took up residence in the steam room. Louise and Fred arrived and it was decided that Louise would guard the stairs to the second floor from the upper landing with Fred patrolling the halls and acting as backup while Abigail handled the first floor. Toby and Amy arrived just before the main group and took up residence in the control room. ---------------------------------- Tina deliberately waited until Amy and Toby were packing up at the diner to tell Alonzo, "I think I ought to see the clubhouse." There was more to it than that -- she'd settled down and thought things over and decided that she would probably want to let her hair down -- but she wanted a little quality time with Alonzo first. It wouldn't do for her to put herself out there and get wild if she and Alonzo weren't going to make it... Alonzo eyed her dubiously for a moment, well aware that the club had been a stumbling block and that there had been no obvious reason why that situation should have changed. Tina understood and explained, "I've... absorbed it now. It's okay. I was just off-guard." "Well, we don't have to go anywhere that isn't public," Alonzo replied. "Let's just go and see." The house was impressive; Tina had to admit that. A somewhat anorexic woman met them at the door and addressed herself immediately to Tina, "I'm Abigail. I'm sort of the house mother here. This is your first visit, is it not?" Tina nodded, "Yes." Abigail turned to Alonzo. "What do you want?" "Somewhere quiet, to start," Alonzo replied. "There are some couples in the library, wrapped up in each other, if you know what I mean," Abigail replied. "For more privacy, there are a few rooms along this, the north hallway, and some along the south hall. Here in the north, please don't go beyond the stairway -- beyond are the staff quarters." She flicked a glance at Tina. "Use of the second floor is a membership privilege." "We may look into it later," Alonzo replied. "Very well. I know of one room along the south hall that isn't made up; beyond that, things should be wide open. There are games and such in the main parlor, and TV in just about every room. Basically, if something is there, you may use it. Questions?" "No." Alonzo answered for the pair. "I'll be available if any come up. There will be a brunch in the morning in the dining area." Abigail turned her attention to the next couple while Alonzo tugged Tina up the hall. The more Tina saw, the more the place impressed her. There were video games and pool and TV and a big dining room and quiet places where couples huddled in the semi-darkness to make out -- and bedrooms where the beds actually smelled brand new! The sheets were fresh and crisp... "I guess I don't understand," Tina mused. "Why do this?" Alonzo shrugged. "Why not?" "Do you pay for it?" "No. It was explained to us that it is kind of a booster club -- I pay for it by winning games, I guess. But the more you know about this place, the more you realize that it is just meant to be a safe place to be with friends..." "And have sex," Tina pointed out. "Yes. That, too," Alonzo agreed. "Wild parties?" Alonzo pursed his lips. "Orgies, maybe. Swing parties. I've never seen booze or drugs. Just sex. Sometimes lots of sex." "This looks pretty subdued..." Tina mused. "This isn't a normal Friday night after the game," Alonzo replied, "and this isn't the members' area." He pursed his lips. "We didn't HAVE a non-members' area before..." "No?" "No. The original place was someone's basement family room, I think. This is several steps up," Alonzo explained. "We would use upstairs bedrooms for privacy -- but more often than not..." His voice trailed off. "What did Amy tell you?" "Lots of stuff," Tina replied. "And I made promises not to tell any tales out of school. You're safe, I think." "Lots of times, couples would just throw thin mats on the floor or the pool table and go at it in plain sight. People would get fired up and the next thing you knew, everybody was doing somebody." "Sounds wild..." Tina mused. "But somebody has to have paid for all this. I don't know how comfortable I'm going to be until I know more." "Toby and Amy should be around..." Alonzo mused. "What about -- I dunno -- adults?" Alonzo sighed. "Let's go look." Tina's worries colored the mental landscape -- and were therefore easy to pick up. Toby did so and trotted up the stairs to see Louise. "Tina Bettinger is new. She's with Alonzo. She has questions -- including who is paying for all this..." He pursed his lips. "Once she's happy, she'll want to be a member -- but she wants to talk to an adult." Louise nodded, sighing. "I resemble an adult, I guess, Baby. I'll handle it." "Thanks." Toby padded back downstairs to be with his girl. ---------------------------------- Alonzo and Tina showed up a few minutes later. "Tina has questions," Alonzo began, "and..." "And she wants to hear the answers from somebody besides the nerdy team trainer?" Toby asked, smiling crookedly. "Yeah." Alonzo was thoroughly embarrassed. "Go up the stairs. 'L' is up there. She can answer Tina's questions." So Alonzo trudged up the stairs with Tina on his heels. Louise was sitting in a chair at the top, wearing a bathrobe and a mask; Fred was out patrolling the halls. "Can I help you?" "Um, 'L', this is Tina," Alonzo began. "She has questions..." "What kind of questions, Baby?" Louise cocked her head at Tina. "I think I understand most of what goes on around here," Tina began, "but..." Louise interrupted with a chuckle. "If you do, you're better off than I am! Who did you talk to?" "Amy." Louise pursed her lips and nodded. "Maybe you do, then. Amy isn't an original member, but she's joined at the hip to Toby -- and if there is a heart and soul of this operation, it's Toby." Tina blinked. "Really?" Louise smiled crookedly. "I'm an early member -- but not an original member. There are three original members -- and Toby is one of them. In fact, Toby didn't come up with the idea, but he's the one who made it work. And if the club has management, it's Toby." "But he's..." Tina protested. "Your age?" Louise filled in the gap. "Maybe that's what it takes. People my age tend to tell people what won't work -- while people your age make it happen! But go ahead, ask your questions -- and I'll try to answer." "Okay, well, the big question is 'Who pays for this?' There's a lot of money invested here..." "Um, I think we're a non-profit -- maybe a charity. A while back, we did someone a big favor, and they funded us with quite a bit of money. I guess you'd call it an endowment. Then when we bought this house, we found some really valuable antiques, and that added to things; it's why we have an antique store next door, actually. There was some really valuable old stuff -- and because this place used to be a boarding house, there were several copies of some of the more valuable items. As I understand it, the house was paid for from its contents." "Really? If I was the old owner, I'd be embarrassed..." Tina mused. "Well, Baby, one man's junk is another man's valuable artifact," Louise said blandly. "If we didn't have a member who recognized a possible goldmine, we would probably have sent it all to the dump." "So it's all free..." Tina mused. "For now," Louise agreed, nodding. "Nothing lasts forever, although I bet we could go on for some time as we are." "I feel a lot better..." Tina mused. "Actually, it might be smart for us to charge a small fee -- something you kids could afford, like five dollars, maybe. It would extend things and given the benefits, it's more than worth it," Louise mused. Tina covered her mouth. "I hope I didn't start something!" "Well, we'll see," Louise replied. "We don't want to price access out of the budget for you guys or it'll just be us old folks around here!" She grinned. "But we DO have a couple of employees who aren't making much more than food and housing right now." Tina changed the subject. "Would I enjoy being a full member?" "Baby, that depends upon how open-minded you are," Louise replied. "I certainly do! At your age, I think it's experience -- and at mine, it's being able to get your fill." Tina cocked her head. "What do you mean?" "You need to go into a relationship pretty clear on what you're getting into sexually, Baby," Louise counseled. "The days of keeping your cherry until your wedding night are long gone. That means you need experience -- not just with the guy you're dating, but with other guys, too. Maybe you love a guy to pieces and sex isn't a hot button with you -- but what if you discover later that it wasn't that hot because HE wasn't that hot and when you hook up with a guy who is, it changes things? You need to make that decision knowing where he is and where you are -- and you don't get there by only doing it with each other." "What about love?" Tina asked. "One of the big mistakes girls make is thinking that just because the sex is hot, the guy loves you." Louise turned to Alonzo, "This isn't personal, Baby -- you understand that, right?" Alonzo nodded and Louise went on, "Love and sex are two different things and you can have a LOT of fun having sex with a guy you don't love and who doesn't love you. Guys know this, but us gals get all wrapped up in the long-term stuff because we're trying to feather our nest for kids. You can't confuse the two, though, because it works the same for you as it does for him. If you love the guy, it improves the sex -- but that doesn't mean you can't have great sex outside of a relationship. Guys know this, because the sex is VERY important to them -- more important than we tend to think it is -- and that can lead to trouble. So you need to have sex with someone you DON'T have any romantic interest in so you can tell the difference when you do -- does that make sense?" Tina cocked her head and said, "So you're saying that I need to be able to say, 'This guy is hot in bed but I don't feel anything for him -- but I love this guy, and he might not be as hot, but I can handle it?' Something like that?" "Yeah, something like that," Louise agreed. "Look, Baby, variety is the spice of life -- and guys, in particular, are wired for it. That causes trouble all the time because you probably got told when you were three that when you pick your mate, you need to be loyal to him one hundred percent of the time and he needs to do the same for you -- and that means no outside nookie. Well, Baby, I'm married, and I'm here to tell you that you get into a rut with the old man and it's the same old thing and you BOTH start looking elsewhere if you don't work at it. He'll be tempted, and YOU'LL be tempted -- and instead of being honest with each other about it, you'll lie and pretend and one day one of you will step over the line. You need to be one hundred percent loyal to your old man and you should expect that from him -- but that's EMOTIONAL loyalty -- you should be able to talk to each other about outside nookie. If you love each other, you can invite somebody else to the party every once in a while and not worry about him moving in with the guest star afterwards, and vice-versa. That's the ADULT way of handling the problem. Or you can lie and pretend and wonder if he's lying and pretending, too -- and sow the seeds of jealousy and distrust." Louise waved her arm. "That's what's hot about this place. Guys and gals your age come here and get experience. Guys get theirs a lot of the time from women my age, which is a good thing, because we've been around the block and we know what we're doing and can teach them what they need to know. The gals usually get a guy after he's practiced a few times and can be counted on to make it all good. Have you two...?" "No," Alonzo replied. "Well, I know you've been around..." Louise noted, carefully not mentioning the fact that she and Alonzo had been together. "What about you?" she asked Tina. "No, I haven't done it yet." "Well, you picked a good 'un," Louise told her, "I hear good things. But look, Baby, you don't have to go through that door to get your first -- but I'd advise you to do it to get your second or third." Tina bit her lip. "Amy said some of the guys have... expectations..." "Oh, yeah!" Louise nodded vehemently. "Some do for sure -- but if you just don't buck them, they back off. If you go in there with him they won't hassle you tonight. After you come back a couple of times, though, they'll want to see you step up to the plate and pay your dues -- but then, that's what you'll be there for, anyway, so what will it matter?" Tina nodded, resolution growing in her. "Let's go in," she told Alonzo. "Okay, Baby, you have to get undressed -- you know that, right? You can wear a mask like this one -- they're in there on a bench. Then you can just wait in the hallway for your man -- if he doesn't beat you out." Louise smirked, eyeing Alonzo. "Have you been through and seen all of the new stuff?" Alonzo nodded. "Okay, then. Have a good time..." She waved the couple through the door. Alone in the changing room, Tina watched herself in the mirror as she tied on her mask and then stood musing, ruffling her pubic muff. 'Am I ready for this?' Bernice Higgins came through the door, stopped, surprised, ventured a "Hi," and opened a locker. Then she started pulling off her pantyhose, not quite ignoring Tina. "Hi," Tina ventured belatedly. Bernice turned to her, smiling crookedly. "It's always scary the first time." "Yeah?" "Even for me -- and I was branded a slut going in..." Bernice grimaced. "I was everybody's loose piece for a while..." "Want to talk about it?" Tina ventured. "Maybe." Bernice stepped out of her panties and tossed them into the locker, then unzipped her dress. "The guys will be waiting, though." "Well, hey..." Tina was going to say, "There's always later..." but... "Maybe they won't mind," Bernice muttered. "Maybe." Bernice picked up a mask, but shook her head. "I don't know why I should bother." "Everybody else does, I bet." Tina stepped up and helped Bernice tie the mask. "Ready?" Alonzo would be waiting... So was Randy. He and Alonzo were passing the time, more or less, outside in the hallway. When the girls came through, Tina put her hand on Alonzo's arm. "Do you mind if we go with them for a little bit?" "I don't if they don't," Alonzo replied. He was powerfully distracted by Tina's body, revealed to him for the first time. Randy eyed Bernice. "What's up?" "We were gonna talk..." Randy thought about this, then turned a glance on Alonzo, who shrugged. "Yeah, sure, okay. What do you want to do? We were gonna check out the sauna and the steam bath -- maybe the hot tub." Alonzo checked with Tina, "Yeah, that's cool." He waved the other couple ahead of them. "Something up?" he asked quietly. "She wants to get something off her chest, I think," Tina whispered. "You know..." Alonzo began. "Yeah. I know who she is." "Okay." The two couples headed back through the communal bath and down the staircase behind it to the lower floor. Randy threw open the door of the steam room and came back with, "I think it's occupied. Do you care?" "I don't," Tina volunteered. Randy shrugged and led the quartet inside. Benches were set up like bleachers on three sides in a 'U' shape; the right side was occupied as they came in, so Randy took the left, seating himself on the second level and pulling Bernice in between his legs. Alonzo looked at Tina, who shrugged, so he duplicated the move. Tina leaned back against his hardon and smiled as he wrapped an arm around her waist. There was a couple across the way -- no, there were three of them. One sat up high on the third level bench and the other two sat below, kissing -- or maybe not. The steam was pretty thick, but they seemed to be taking turns doing something... Wet sucking noises drifted across the room... "Are they doing what I think they're doing?" Tina whispered. "Yeah, if you think it's a blowjob," Alonzo whispered back. "Who...?" "There was only one trio at the dance." "So, Lucy and Nick?" "That's a surprise?" Alonzo asked. "I guess not..." Gathering herself, she said louder, "We're disturbing them." "It's okay -- we're all family here, right?" Lucy's voice drifted across the room. "Yeah, but I think we're the ones who want privacy," Tina replied. "Can we move on?" Randy shrugged. "Sure. Want to try the sauna?" "Okay," Alonzo agreed. They got up and trooped out, Randy leading. Tina smiled and shrugged as they went by. The sauna was empty -- and Tina decided that she liked it better, anyway. "This okay?" Randy asked, apparently mildly irritated, as they settled into positions similar to the ones they'd taken up in the steam room. "Yes. Sorry!" Tina replied. "We were going to talk, though, and I thought it might disturb them." She paused, then added, "You knew?" "More or less," Randy replied. "I drive a van that moves people around for the club. We see things." "Is there a lot of that?" Tina asked. "A lot of what? Open sex? Or gay and bisexual stuff?" Randy seemed to be testing Tina. "Gay and bisexual stuff." "There is more than you might think," Randy replied, "but that's the most open display I've ever seen. The gays and the bisexuals usually keep it to themselves better -- they generally can't afford to be outed." Randy looked thoughtful. "I think Lucy started that." "Me, too," Bernice agreed. "Well, it was okay, but we were gonna talk..." Tina pointed out. Randy eyed Bernice and looked thoughtful, then seemed to relax. He cupped one of Bernice's breasts, his eyes challenging Tina. Tina responded by moving one of Alonzo's hands up to one of hers. "So talk..." Randy's tone made Bernice diffident, so Tina reached across and took her hand. "Go on." "I... don't think I'm as bad as my reputation -- but I can't fix it," Bernice began hesitantly. Randy seemed to relax even further and began rubbing her back as she sat up a bit. "It all started that night I volunteered to help Marcel..." She smiled crookedly, adding, "... for a date to Homecoming. Isn't that funny?" "What happened up there?" Tina had heard rumors, of course... "Marcel started giving Randy shit. Randy was moving up, and Marcel didn't like it, so he started putting him down. Marcel started dissing Randy about whether he'd ever had a sex with a girl -- but Randy HAD, and could prove it! So Marcel started calling Randy's bluff -- and Randy wasn't bluffing, so Marcel kept digging himself deeper and deeper... It got to the point real fast that Marcel was bluffing, not Randy, but Marcel kept pushing, hoping Randy would back down. But Randy was with Miriam, and Miriam, well, she's kind of strange, I guess -- basically, she wasn't gonna stop it -- she was prepared to go to the wall with it. So they went from making claims to having to prove it -- and Randy still had cards when Marcel ran out. And I thought I saw an opportunity, so I got stupid..." "Go on," Tina encouraged her. "I wasn't getting dates -- I wasn't getting anything but laughed at, usually -- so I figured that if I helped Marcel out of his jam, he would be grateful. So I offered to cover him, figuring that push wouldn't REALLY come to shove. I bargained with him for a date to Homecoming." She paused. "And then things went to Hell..." "What happened?" Tina asked. "Marcel kept pushing, trying to get Randy or Miriam to cave -- only they didn't. Miriam didn't let anything stop her. Get naked in front of a crowd? No problem! Give Randy a blowjob? She didn't even stop to think about it! They did it on a mattress, right there at the camp -- which made Marcel look like an asshole -- and me an even bigger one! Then Tyrone Baker and Otis White moved in and took me away from Marcel and the next thing I knew, I was in the middle of a gang-bang!" Bernice shook her head, remembering. "Toby says Tyrone has something -- hypnosis, or a drug -- something. I know it sounds like an excuse, but... I was a virgin, you know? And then suddenly, I was a slut and that bastard Rudy took video and posted it on the net... Really, I was just there and there were eight or ten guys and I wasn't going anywhere, you know? What was I gonna do?" Tears rolled down her cheeks. Bernice sniffled for a bit while Randy rubbed her back. "After that, I had a reputation -- I was a gang-bang slut. It wasn't like here in the club where girls have sex and nobody says anything -- it was all public. Then Tyrone came around one day and he did whatever it is he does and he and Otis fucked me and fucked up my head..." Bernice brought her gaze up to Tina's defiant. "I know it sounds like a fairy story, but you don't REALLY think Tyrone got Cindy Simpson by being a hero and whisking her away from a gang-bang, do you?" Behind her, Randy chuckled. "Shit, he RAN the thing!" Tina blinked. "He did?" "Tyrone took all three of Cindy's cherries, that night!" Randy rumbled. "That's Top Secret, of course. Bernice is right -- there is something up with Tyrone. But nobody believed her until he proved it with Cindy and Beverly." Bernice nodded. "It was a LOT easier to just believe I was a slut -- even for me. So, I was a club girl and a known slut, so I was the bottom of the totem pole. Need a blowjob? Get Bernice. Need a fuck?" "I did it," Randy admitted. "I ordered her to fuck guys and suck them. I thought she was worthless. She did, too, but I didn't help any. But then I WATCHED Tyrone roll over Cindy and Beverly... We saw the whole thing, not just the little show on the web -- there is plenty more." "What's up with that?" Tina asked. "How did you see it?" "Cindy went after Anita -- because Anita got in her way, making her look bad in public by stealing Tad from her. Of course, Cindy never HAD Tad, and it was all for show," Bernice explained. "The club was mad at Cindy and Beverly for that and how they treated people in general, and how their parents would step in and let them get away with it -- they needed a wake-up call. So we arranged it, to teach them a lesson." "That's TERRIBLE! They've been... MANIPULATED!" Tina burst out. "Tina, Sweetie, if anyone ever needed to be manipulated, it's Cindy and Beverly. They're better off," Bernice insisted. "Besides, look what's happened to Tyrone and Otis! Suddenly, they're both straight-arrows..." "Well..." "Cindy and Beverly have been screwing over people for years," Bernice insisted. "The club got even with them for everyone they ever did -- and that's a LOOOONG list! I'm not saying it's right -- but the punishment fit the crimes and Cindy and Beverly really ARE better off. Tyrone and Otis are, too, I think -- they're getting away from the whole gangsta thing, which might have gotten them killed and very probably would have got them put in jail." "What about what Tyrone and Otis did to you?" Tina asked. "If Tyrone is using his powers for good..." Bernice shrugged and looked away. "I don't know..." Tina mused. "Well, it's my fault," a voice announced, "I set it up. Maybe we need a conscience..." <1st attachment end> ----- ASSM Moderation System Notice------ Notice: This post has been modified from its original format.
