Hi Natasha
You will pronably think this is corny but I was on the Yongala
boardwalk mucking around with my grandkids when suddenly the only
person I could see in the water was this beautiful redhead - and the
lyrics 'I saw her standing there' by the Beattles immediately came to
mind - couldnt get them out of my head all day. Lisa told me it was
you - sorry but I just had to tell someone. Hope you dont mind but she
gave me your email address - and now I am at a loss for words.
Guess I should tell you a little about myself: I was married in NG in
1967 until five years ago when my wife died. Have three children -
Tony, who you pronably know, Desmon who lives here in Brisbane and
Alison who is married to a Frenchy and lives in Monash, to me, they
and their families are all beautiful people. I have a little cottage
here in Brisbane and my own business which keeps me very busy. My
mother lives about 20 minutes away in Brisbane. Lisa tells me you too
are juggling many activities and very busy also. I dont know a lot
about Reiki but it must be very fulfilling for you. Lisa says you are
a master and very good.
Would love to hear from you - never know what we may have in common.

Hi Colin
Thanks for the email was a pleasant surprise. And no I didn't think it
was corny nice to know I can inspire a song!!! Gotta love the
Beatles.  Well a bit about me would be,
Have been separated from my husband for the past 18mths after being
married for 19 years. I have 3 girls 2 from a previous relationship
Karen and Suzy aged 29 and 28 and Joy aged 14 from my relationship
with Ron.
I have been busy working out were I fit in the world and have been
doing a lot of soul searching and have slowly been finding my feet as
a person happy with their own space, which has been lovely. Also been
putting my business together doing reiki as a practitioner and as a
teacher. Reiki is an energy healing modality that works on an
emotional, spiritual, mental and physical level of a person
channelling their own higher consciousness through the practitioner.
It is very relaxing and can be confronting if there are issues to
resolve for the person but it is very gentle in its way of coming
through and most people float out the door after a session, which is a
lovely thing to be a part of. As a job I get a great deal of
satisfaction out of everyday that I am working with people.
So between getting my reiki business up and running and looking after
Joy and throw in 2 part-time jobs on top of that  I don't get out much
apart from the group I go to which is the one Lisa is a part of and
going for walks each day on the beach!!!
It would be great to find out what we may have in common, I may be a
bit rusty in chatting on a personal level it's been a long time!!
Which when you get to know me better will seem quite a funny thing to
say, apparently I talk a lot!!!!
I tend to have a quirky sense of humour and see life as something to
enjoy in the here and now as you never know what is around the corner!
So I always like to apologise up front for my humour and I tend to
call a spade a spade! So if that is something that you can go with
.....Hi how ya doin"!!!!

Day 4
I woke up this morning (Not another song you'll be saying) and found
your e-mail. Your daily life sounds very full but rewarding, that is
something we have in common - probably not to our advantage except for
the understanding part. I have far too many customers and if there is
a machinery breakdown or bad weather I get way behind and find I have
no time for myself. Inspite of this have   just built an entertainment
area - had to rush it and take a few shortcuts towards the end to have
it functional for Mum's birthday. Desmon, my youngest, has nicknamed
it the spabbq - it is 6m by 6m with a curved roof and yes it contains
a spa and a bbq. I find the spa almost a necessity after treelopping
jobs, as the work is very hard on the body and after a spa everything
is back to normal.
I had a little read about reiki on the net - still not too sure
exactly what it is but it must be good especially if you have people
floating out the door on a new plane.
It has been raining a lot up here for the last few days so will be
spending a little time in the office and a little running around after
spare parts - was supposed to be doing a tree trimming job today but
postponed it till next Monday as it can be a bit dicey walking on wet
slippery branches.
I took up flying a few months ago - Cesna 152 - only have about 12 or
14 hours up so far but am enjoying it. Doing emergency landings at the
moment - amazing how far they will glide without the engine. No
particular reason other than it is something I always wanted to do -
later on down the track wouldnt mind flying for Angel Flight but they
require a lot of hours before they will take you on.
Well, I had better go and do some work  - just loved getting your

Hi there, I love associating things to songs so I am more than happy
to be a song thought!!!
I was driving home from picking up my daughter Suzy from the airport
on Saturday on what should be on the radio, the beatles!!!! I was
singing along quite happily with a big smile on my face and Suzy and
Joy thought it was a bit much overkill for an old song!!! Didn't fill
them in on the significance of why it made me feel happy that's my
personal happy space for the moment!! So thank you for that, much
appreciated!!
Your spabbq sounds very inviting it is nice to ease the day away. Hope
you had a lovely day for your mums birthday.
Outdoor jobs must be very trying on the patience when your at the
whims of the weather, at least it gives you time to get your bookwork
done so there are always bonuses in everything really! Though I guess
bookwork is a bit of a stretch to be called a bonus.
I am having a day off today, I could have used that spa last nite 1 of
my jobs is in a take away food van on the beach front, and yesterday
being Sunday and very warm meant hordes of people which means bucket
loads of fish & chips ect small van no aircon 3 people mmmm. At the
end of a 10 hour stretch without a break because the guy doing the
nite didn't turn up I was really ready to just crash I can tell you,
so the feet and legs are getting a bit of a rest today. Went for a
walk on the beach this morning after dropping Joy off at school, I
think it was already in the high 20's which for us at 8.30 is hot!!
And there was hardly anyone on the beach so it was lovely and the
water was lovely and warm gotta love Mondays. Which is much better
than "I don't like Mondays" though I do like the boomtown rats!!
How to explain reiki...... well it's a hands on healing that works using
your higher conscience which we all have and we are each connected to.
So  as the reiki practitioner I tuned in kind of like a radio to your
higher self and ask for healing that is needed by you to be channelled
thru my hands into your body, so you really doing the healing yourself
just from a higher place that we as humans on the whole don't really
tune into very well. That is something I am in the process of learning
about for myself, to be more aware of life and what we are about on a
higher level not just the basics that we tend to get caught up in,
which we need but if we stop and delve abit deeper maybe we can be
better as people.  Well that's the plan anyway will keep you posted on
how I go!!!
I tend to be a bit of a hot head and sometimes ....well a lot of the
time speak before I think so foot in mount disease is me which is
probably why I can get my feet up to my mouth I'm not flexible just
impulsive. Damn and here I thought I was just fit!!
Well its time to go pick Joy up from school and it is another
schorcher so I can feel the beach coming on.
It was lovely to get your email its nice to have great things happen
on days off makes it all the more richer.
Hope you were able to access the parts you needed and that it stops
raining so you can get out to work again.

Hi Natasha
Wonderful to get your email. I got it about three in the morning as
was having trouble getting onto the net - like to have a little
breather before replying in case I end up with foot in mouth disease -
guess we could have a balance there, though most think I am not a good
communicator. Is that the same thing? Will have that spa for you
tonight and send the benefits by telepathy - there is a space reserved
for you. I used to walk a lot on the beach  (only one block away) when
I had the dogs - even bought a tide clock to know when to go as at
full tide there is no beach and at low tide the beach goes out
hundreds of metres. The dogs loved it and so did I, especially on a
full moon when it would rise out of the water in its huge magnificance
and then resume its normal size on complete emergence casting its
silvery beams across the wave tops. Magic.
When I was feeding the fish, chooks and lorikeets this morning I stood
on a bit of metal skerfing in the workshop - cant for the life of me
dig it out - would reiki by telepathy work on this?
Well must away - may all good things happen to you tomorrow and fill
your happy space.

 my happy space is the best space in the whole of s.a. at this moment
I can tell you. Thank you so much. Its been a long time since
something that nice has happened and I have been smiling non stop
since they arrived.  What on earth were you doing up at 3 in the
morning? Though truth be told , I was pronably awake at the same
time!!! By default and under protest though. Joy and I were staying at
a friends house pet sittng and the dogs kept barking and the cats
which I wasn't to let out spent all nite head butting me and Joy to be
let out!!! Must admit I did cave at about quarter to 6 and let them
out, I soooo needed to sleep! Having to get up to take Joy to school
and go tho work was really hard work I can tell you! Truly amazing the
wake up power of a bunch of flowers!!
Have been sending you some reiki but haven't ever had to get something
out of anyones foot so it will be interesting to see if it helps. Have
been visualizing the piece of metal slowly working its way out of your
foot. Mmmm a foot tonite and a baby roo in the morning life is never
boring!
For someone classed as a not good communicator i can totally see that
moon coming up, so maybe they just dont listen well while your
speaking!! Theres a thought.  Well I should go to bed I have reiki at
10am on a roo then teaching reiki at 11am then of to the food van for
the rest of the day!!! Some days are just a bit busy I think but its
all fun and hopefully not to hot in the van. I have used reiki on an
echidna with good results so I hope the same works well for the little
joey. Mustn't think about the joey just yet might confuse your foot
with her paw and we could be in all sorts of trouble, if you start
having the urge to hop around ......wasn't me LOL.
Friday nite group was fun tonite I was up for the meditation and found
a really nice crystal one, it went well, everyone came away with
something different, which is one of the things I love, the way we can
all be doing the same thing and have different experiences from it.
I love crystals and use them a lot in my healing work and just have
them everywhere in general really. Not really an ornament person but
have crystals and beach rocks everywhere!!

Happy Sunday ,Joey perked up well and the reiki training went well and
had a very fish and chip donut day!!! Got home about 9.45 tonite.
Did the magnet worked on your foot. Hope you have a lovely time with
your mum, a bunch of us are going out for breakfast don't know if its
for valentines day or maybe it is I forgot to ask !!!
All I heard was breakfast someone else is cooking im there,!! Then its
back to the food van for another day of fun!
Well I better head for bed Joy is starting work at 8am which means I
have to get her up and going and beening a teenager that is not always
that easy!!

Well my computer screen is nice and clean now - on the inside anyway.
It was lovely talking to you for the first time. Lisa described you to
a tee - a lovely person. Cant wait to meet you - a little closer this
time.
Glad Joey is all good and your Reiki by distance may have worked as
one of my customers is a nurse and said she was good at digging things
out so I let her have a look. She reckons it is already out so maybe
it came out during the night. It is still very sore though.
Hope Marie remembered to put 'Happy Valentines Day' on the card - if
she didnt then Happy Valentines day to you and hope you have a nice
breakfast and a nice day, though it sounds like you are working it -
well that is two of us. I will book a table for two for next
Valentines Day - your choice, here or Yongala.
I know what you mean about waking teenagers up in the morning -

Morning,
Well it was a very nice valentines day, got up looked at my flowers
and thought "how lucky am I" went to breakfast and nobody turned up
apparently they had cancelled it and I didn't get the text!!!! So I am
sitting there thinking I'm being on time for once (a very rare
occurance by the way) don't do clocks very well!!and this is soooo
boring! When there actually was no time! So I rang christo and he was
a bit vague but said ok see you in a sec and as you know nodtown is
such a huge town he was there .......in a sec LOL and that was when i
found out I could have walked on the beach longer, but that was ok we
had a coffee and he went off to his appointment which is why it had
also changed as he had to go off to where ever earlier!
Soooooo then I rang suzy my older daughter who is down as she is
staying with a friend in Adelaide about 20min away, and as I didn't
have to be at work for another hour and angie (the friend) was coming
down to yong to work asked if she wanted to come for brekky,
yep........stilll sitting 1/2hr later, quick call are you not coming
now???? We didn't realize you meant breakfast thought you were at work
already!!!!! So that was that 2 tries no lucky went to work
instead!!!! My flowers are still opening up they are lizzeantha"s so
not spelt right I know but hopefully readable! Pink and white and
hopefully Joy can find her camera charger and take a photo of them for
me and I can show you.
Thanks for the spabbq photos it looks great, and I take it that's the
seats you need a slab for. Your mum must have been very happy to have
her birthday out there. I'll have to tell mandy today that you sent a
photo, she will be very exciting but slightly confusing as I describe
you as curvy, stony a wee bit chook like and kinda resemble concrete
or a boat.....but not sure which one. lol or I could say you remind me
of a great backyard!! Or do I say you look like a home body!!
Glad you have got the metal out, and I am happy to take some of the
credit!!! Will make work a bit hard though if its still sore and you
haven't fixed the walker yet. Ouch. Do you have some one that works
with you? Maybe they can push and you can sit in a deck chair with an
umbarella drink and give directions!!! Well just a thought! I try to
be helpful.......or just trying mmmmm but of a vague line sometimes!
Well Joy has just wondered out of bed so its time to make her breakky
and get her off to school, hope you a have a cruisy Monday.
I'm off to start organizing my property settlement bit apprehensive
but its getting done now so that is a good thing.

Wow what a Monday! Mine was kinda easy really! Hope your mums shin is
ok someone should give that table a piece of their mind that's for
sure!
I could send her some reiki if you like just need her first name and
which shin it was and may help a little. Thanks for the photos not
sure if anyones mentioned it but those trees are really really tall it
gave me butterflies just looking at them. You forgot to mention you
were part monkey! But it makes for a very nice screen saver even if it
is a bit high up!!!
Glad you had some help yesterday, working in humidity is one of the
hardest things to do I think, very draining, I  use to live in Derby
and you just feel like your melting. Have been watching the weather on
the news what a deluge, did any of that effect your part of town. Suzy
flew home today haven't heard from her so I hope it went well or they
could still be circling the airport!!!!
Will mark next valentines day in my diary for sure and a few other
entries would be very nice. It has been 22 years since I have been on
a date so hope some of those diary entries are basic dating 101 that
comes with a tutor!!!
Joey is doing well and Sophie is going to be bringing her in for more.
When I was doing the reiki I kept seeing white dots everywhere turned
out to be thrush in her mouth which is why its been hard to get her to
drink so Sophie has given her some medication  to treat the thrush and
that should help her get back to her bouncy self. There is another
young girl I work with helen who is training to train horses with
gentling and I am going to attune her to reiki so she can use it on
the horses, the guy who she is learning from came in the shop today
and he was really keen on it, apparently his father-in-law does reiki
and often treats Neds shoulder when he is over so he knows it works he
just didn't realize you can use it on animals so it is going to be
interesting to see how it goes. I am not a horse person but will have
to go with helen to help her out the first few times so hope they have
some very gentle tame horses, though if they are already calm helen
might think she did it before she did it!!!!
Well I guess I have waffled on enough for today and its 12.30 so I
better head for bed.

I have been a bit slack replying - but you have been on my mind all
the time. Thanks so much for the e-card - that was great.
Mum's name is Vanessa and it is her right shin. Have had to spend a
bit of time over there with her as she is not supposed to be walking
on it - being a Penright, she is a bit stubborn though and every time
I go there she is walking. She has agreed though not to drive the car.
We did get a bit of a deluge, though here in Brisbane I only recorded
66mm - not like some parts of SEQ. Brisbane for some reason seems to
be shielded as it is always a little cooler in summer and a little
warmer in winter and we more often than not dont get the full brunt of
any storms.
Wow! 22 years - maybe we can start from scratch and tutor each other.
Now there is a thought - a little hand hold, a warm embrace to a hug -
a gaze into each others eyes......
Yes well, I am glad Joey is doing OK - amazing you picked up on the
white dots. Thought you just might be a horsey person though, I have
had my share of horses on various farms, mainly mustering, but dont do
much riding now. Have thought of brushing up at a club at Beachport
(just a little north of here) but time is something I dont seem to
have much of.
My doctor sent me off for a scan and apparently the wire has moved
further in and now I have to go to the hospital to have it removed
under a scan so they can see what they are doing - am not looking
forward to that - hope I get someone competent.
Good news with the Walker mower - it was only a fuel pump, so with a
new one installed I am back in business. After using the rideon,
walking behind an ordinary mower just doesnt cut it anymore so am
really pleased to have it back. Am way behind but hopefully, if we
dont get anymore rain, I should catch up by next week.
I am curious to know how you arrived at your email name 'hornygirl' -
very intriguing. Conjures up images of an athletic, strong female
hunter (with just your figure) from another time, spear/bow in hand,
running through the jungle and wearing just a few leaves held together
with jungle vine. Hope you dont shoot me for that.

Hey there,
Well its nearly midnight and I should be asleep but its been a long
day and still trying to wind down so if the spelling or the words are
a bit bizarre its not my fault it's the puter!!!!! Started early and
didn't finish till 7.30 at the van and it  was a very hot day to be a
chippy today so was very glad to get home and into the shower I can
tell you! Then it was off to group though by the time I got there it
was nearly finished, so I was in time for a cuppa , which worked for
me because I have no milk AAhhh no coffee in the morning could be
scary here I'm sure. The one thing I was suppose to get today was
milk, oh well there is always tomorrow.
Glad you got the walker working fuel pumps can be tempramental
especially in mowers lots of fine particles ect. Push mower "doesn't
cut it" oohh bad joke!!
Glad your mum is doing ok. It is hard to sit still though, I know how
she feels , when I broke my ankle last year I wasn't allowed to put it
on the ground for nearly 10 weeks it drove me insane, I couldn't even
make a coffee, I was very stuck, so if I could have moved I would
have!!
Monday will be interesting once I have attuned helen, because I would
like her to practice on a horse, so hopefully she has a quiet one,
otherwise I will be instructing from the other side of the fence!!!
A couple of bad experiences and I am scarred for life, how many people
say that, I think horror horse stories would be one of the biggest
fear factor things out there !
How did the foot go, are you all scanned, poked and fixed!?
hornygirl comes from a hawaiin philosophy, horny is a way of life over
in the hawaiin islands, and we have a couple of people who have
actually been to Hawaii and studied under the kauhorny's and I am
slowly learning it from them and through reading as it is something I
feel drawn too as a way of life. The basic gist of it is...no hurt no
sin. They live very simple lives and share their knowledge freely for
those who wish to know. One day I plan to go to Hawaii and study with
them. Again like reiki there is lots of info about horny on the net
that can explain it better than me!! So one day I will really be a
hornygirl!!
I like the idea of starting from scratch. The way you put it sounds
wonderful and reading it makes me feel quite tingly and excited
without being to scared about it all, so thankyou for those beautiful
thoughts, it has given me something very nice to go to sleep thinking
about. I seem to be smiling a whole lot more lately that's for sure! I
enjoy my little world, and am grateful for all the great things in it,
but having you come along has added a really lovely new element that
has been missing for a very long time, and its nice to be excited
about life again, so thanks for going for a walk on the boardwalk that
day!!! Well I better go to sleep have to get Joy  up she is on at 8am,
that's mean for me that is!!! Then I am off to do reiki then back to
the van hopefully not for another 10hr shift, its hot again tomorrow
so that may not be as much fun as it could be!! But on sunday its
healers market day so I am looking forward to that. I enjoy markets
it's a whole different atmosphere and I find them a great place to
work, so that will be a good working day! Though there is a lot of
talking and socializing as well!! Me talking and socializing who would
have guessed that!!!
