The story 'Last Boy Standing' by Nialos Leaning concerns the
adventures of twelve-year-old Tyler Rogers and his two friends Freddy
and Charlie Kershaw. This is my fantasy of the same events depicted in
Nialos Leanings story as seen throught the eyes of Tyler's thirteen

The next morning the still profusely embarrassed Megan sat next to her

The waiter reminded the grandfather of the Benjamin County ordinance.

had arrived in to town late last night and were not aware of the

When the conditions of Ordinance 17- 769, which required all boys ages
3 to 15, to be nude at all times was explained there was quite a
commotion from the four assembled juvenile male cousins. The two female
cousins on the other hand thought it a hysterically funny law and burst

When the parents of Stan the oldest of the cousins insisted that he

When they arrived at the Edwardsville theatre where 'Last Boy

The medical team consisted of four women. It was led by paediatric

Rebecca Morris, nurse practitioner Allison Broadbent and Dr.
Berkevich's own head nurse, Nancy Walton.

Mr. Rogers introduced Megan to the doctor and her team then excused
himself as he needed to return to the preparation room to oversight the
final preparations for today's show.

Sarah asked if she could stay with her sister so she was not alone.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Rogers thought this a kind and considerate offer but
in fact Sarah offered to stay to satisfy her own curiosity and get the

"Okay Megan, now to get your height and weight and assess your Tanner

scale please."

Measuring and weighing Megan, the doctor commented, "You appear to be
somewhat of a late developer for your age."

Inspecting Megan's almost non existent breasts and pubic hair Dr

her 6th grade friends and thought what a fun day was just beginning.
