Longing, so near, yet so far
Longing and longing,
Why am I longing for,
Something that is not mine;
Of this I am sure.
Warmth and heat,
Touch and hold,
Something that is not mine;
Why is it this way?
Yearning and wanting,
Blue nights, white skin,
Something that is not mine;
Hungry for what I cannot taste.

This hard and unresolved,
