illustrates that all too well. Another saying to bear in mind, "Motels do
tell."
Eavesdropping

Every once in a while, if one is careful and perceptive to the happenings
around them, one might, for example, catch a couple making love in a park;
or see someone fucking in a car; or watch an entertaining activity from your
hotel window.
But seeing isn't everything. Perhaps you'll hear something of interest, as I
did when I picked up my phone yesterday and happened in on the following
conversation between two women. I should add you will only hear one woman
speaking. It should be enough to pique your . . . whatever. <grin. >
Listen with me as I replay the tape.
"We were in this motel, just finished a good rousing, old fashioned fuck, ya
know? I thought someone was knockin' on the door at first, but he heard it
too and pointed at the wall as he laughed. He was right. As we both got
quiet and listened we heard it very clearly. It's the fuckin' bed in the
room next to us. Anyway he's hard again so I climb up on that banana of his

"Ride 'em cowgirl," from one side. And, "the woman on the other side, "Fuck

"Christ, ya know, it was embarassin' ya know?"
"But I yelled back, hey you two bitches, ya wanna good time?" and I gave 'em
his phone number. And the stupid bastard didn't stop me either."
"What?"
"What'ya mean . . . he'll be hearin' from 'em?"
"Oh shit! Ya mean I really fucked myself? Those bitches will waste a quarter
on him?"
"Shit! Shit! Shit!"
"I gotta learn to keep my mouth shut. Listen Billy, I gotta go now, but
don't be a stranger, huh? Gimme a call once in a while will ya? Ya know we
gotta get together like old times, huh? Friday? Sounds good. I'll meet ya
at the Blue Parrot on 16th Street."
"Right. Okay love, see ya then. Bye."
