Title: Stay-boy
Summary: A fictional advertisement for a puberty-delaying drug for boys.
Keywords: b drug nosex

Stay-boy(TM) is the wonder drug of our time. That's a bold but warranted
claim.

In the last half-century, parents have had to endure the anguish of
watching their sweet, happy little boys turn into morose, ill-mannered
teenagers. The increasing complexity of life meant longer times in
school preparing for a career. Simultaneously, the decreasing age of
puberty meant children whose bodies were ready for sex but who weren't
emotionally and financially prepared to raise children of their own.
The results were behavior problems and teenaged pregnancies.

Enter, modern medicine. The explosion of genetic knowledge gained from
extensive research has led to the discovery of the precise chain of
chemical events that start puberty. Using this knowledge, researchers
have produced a drug that inhibits the onset of puberty: Stay-boy.

Chemical signals in the body lead to a chain of reactions that cause
all the changes accompanying puberty. The chemical that initiates
puberty bonds more easily with the primary active ingredient of
Stay-boy than it does with the body's usual receptors. The result is
that the body never receives the "go" message to start puberty, and
your cute, eager-to-please darling remains a cute, eager-to-please
darling.

Because the signal to start puberty is turned off by the completion of
puberty--and that doesn't happen--the body just continues to produce
the "go" signal; therefore, when your boy stops taking Stay-boy, his
body will receive the appropriate signal, and normal puberty will
begin--but at an age that you and he decide is appropriate.

Stay-boy: it's best for you; it's best for your boy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect to see?

It is, perhaps, more relevant to consider what you will not see.

There will be no increase in penis or testicle size, no appearance of
facial, underarm, chest, or pubic hair, and no change of voice while
your boy is taking Stay-boy. Once he stops taking Stay-boy, and enough
time has passed to allow the drug to clear his system (typically, 2 to
4 weeks), all the normal changes of puberty will occur.

Furthermore, the typical "growth spurt" that teenagers experience will
be delayed until puberty is allowed to take place. Your boy will
continue to grow during the time he is taking Stay-boy, and his growth
during his "spurt" will be correspondingly less, but his final height
will be about the same or slightly greater than if he had been allowed
to undergo puberty at an earlier age.

You'll also notice that there is no increase in the frequency of
masturbation. All boys handle themselves from the earliest age. Your
boy will continue to clutch at his genitals from time to time (such as
when he's nervous or excited), but absent will be the purposeful
stroking normally associated with the pre-teen and teen years.

How will Stay-boy affect my boy's sex life?

It may sound strange to talk about a boy's "sex life," but boys do have
sex lives.

In general, a boy taking Stay-boy will have no more--or less--interest
in sex than a typical 8-year-old boy.

Your boy will continue to exhibit the same sexual behaviors that are
typical of 8-year-old boys. He will continue to be interested in the
differences between boys and girls, and he may engage in the "you show
me yours, and I'll show you mine" sex play that is common with children
this age. He'll joke about sex with his peers, show off his body when
being rowdy with his friends, and otherwise do the kinds of things that
boys this age do.

He won't, however, experience sexual attraction to either girls or
other boys. He may be curious about intercourse, but he'll show little
or no desire to try it, himself. His sexual behavior will be child-like
rather than adult-like.

To facilitate this delayed interest in sex, Stay-boy contains a second
active ingredient to inhibit erections. As with the primary active
ingredient, this ingredient does not alter the function of any part of
your boy's body--it just blocks the signals that would otherwise cause
an erection.

Within one week of beginning to take Stay-boy, your boy will cease
having erections. His penis will remain sensitive to touch (Stay-boy
does not dull the nerves in any way), and he will continue to enjoy
fondling himself, as young boys do, but no amount of
stimulation--physical or otherwise--will result in an erection.

This effect has the benefit of making it impossible for your boy to
engage in intercourse--in the unlikely event that he does show
interest, or in the case where a curious girl entices him to experiment
with her.

When should my boy start taking Stay-boy?

It is important that your boy begin regularly taking Stay-boy before
the onset of any signs of puberty, and that he continue taking
Stay-boy--uninterrupted--until you and he decide that it's time for him
to undergo puberty.

Because Stay-boy has no other effect than bonding to the puberty
triggers, it is perfectly safe for your boy to start taking Stay-boy at
any age. Therefore, we recommend that your boy begin taking Stay-boy on
his eighth birthday, unless your doctor recommends otherwise.

Does Stay-boy require a prescription?

Yes. Because Stay-boy is not effective once puberty starts, it is
important for your doctor to determine if Stay-boy is appropriate for
your boy.

Are there any harmful side effects?

Stay-boy does not change the function of any part of your boy's
body--it just blocks the transmission of the signal to start puberty.
It simply acts as a receptor for the puberty-triggering chemicals, and
is otherwise inert in the bloodstream. In clinical trials, three side
effects were noted.

First, because there is no sharp increase in the production of
testosterone, boys taking Stay-boy were notably less aggressive and
more compliant and sociable than the boys in the control group.

Second, boys taking Stay-boy had a slightly higher average height at
the end of puberty (about one inch) than the boys in the control group.

Finally, boys taking Stay-boy had a slightly shorter erect penis length
at the end of puberty (3 to 5 inches compared to 4 to 6.5 inches) than
the boys in the control group.

What should I tell my boy?

The reasons for using Stay-boy are somewhat complex for a boy to
understand, and your boy may worry unnecessarily, so it is generally
best to introduce Stay-boy as you would a vitamin pill. (You can even
order Stay-boy with an added multi-vitamin supplement included.)

When he gets older, he will most likely become curious and begin asking
questions. That is an appropriate time to explain the problems that
boys had in the past and how Stay-boy is helping him to avoid those
problems.

As your boy approaches adulthood, it is important to involve him in
discussions concerning the best time for him to start puberty. Many
boys choose to wait until they have finished college so that they
remain focused on their education.

What's the next step?

If you have a pre-pubertal boy that has reached his eighth birthday,
call your doctor to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. You
want to start your boy on Stay-boy before he shows any signs of
puberty. Also, share this brochure with your family and friends who
have pre-pubertal boys. They'll thank you for it!

If you have a pre-pubertal boy under the age of eight, let your doctor
know of your interest in Stay-boy, and make a note to talk to him,
again, after your boy's eighth birthday. In the mean time, share this
brochure with your family and friends who have pre-pubertal boys.
They'll thank you for it!

If your boy has already started puberty, unfortunately, Stay-boy can't
help him. Talk to your doctor about other options that are available to
help your boy. Also, share this brochure with your family and friends
who have pre-pubertal boys. They'll thank you for it!
