SEAVIEW STORIES | AN URBAN FANTASY

Follow the adventures of Will Black, a wizard, and his 11 year
old apprentice Veronica Blue as they face off against
supernatural forces in their Seattle neighborhood.

The Ravens have warned a great darkness is coming. Can they stop
it before it is too late?

Seaview Stories takes place in the fictional Seattle suburb of
Seaview, at the north end of Elliot Bay, with King Harbor along
the shore and the cemetary of Green Hill at the heights.

Seaview Stories is kind of like "Supernatural" and "Grimm";
except for all the sex between adults and young girls. And
sometimes fairies. And ancient tree-spirits. If that's not for
you, you've been warned.

INTRODUCTION

I came to Seaview almost a decade ago, chasing after the woman
that became my wife. We have since parted ways, but still share a
city and a child. So I stayed. I'm a programmer by trade, and the
region that birthed the Megahard operating system and the
Hercules.com online retail empire has plenty of work available
for a coder like me. I found a roost after a few years with
several ex-Megahard programmers in a King Harbor technical
studio. Our clients out-source enough work to keep us busy, and
pay us well.

I would have stayed anyway, however. Seattle caught my interest.
It's a unique place. And I found the hidden heart of it. King
Harbor. And Seaview.

King Harbor sits at the north end of Elliot Bay, on a headland
sandwiched between Queen Anne Hill and Ballard. Behind it rises
Green Hill, piled with upscale dwellings of Seattle's old and
young rich. Self-contained with its own "downtown" by the harbor,
its easy for residents out there to forget they are still part of
a larger city. And the same holds true in reverse. Most people
don't even know it exists; and when people speak of it, others
assume they mean Magnolia or Ballard.

The strangeness around Seaview doesn't end with its peculiar
anonymity. The unusual is often found amidst the commonplace. The
so-called "Goblin" Market in King Harbor (used to be the
Göbelindt Canning Co. but letters fell off the sign) swarms with
the mundane banalities of suburban life, but also attracts more
than its fair share of eccentric and bizarre people. Even more so
than the Public Market further south in Seattle proper. On the
weekends the residents of the area leave the banality behind and
the neighborhood comes alive. Street fairs block streets, the
parks, walking paths and beaches fill up with children and
animals. On the surface the community buzzes with a mixture of
conformity and energy.

Behind the scenes, few realize the real energies at work here.
Within the mundane, hidden forces watch, wait, and sometimes act.
Strangeness breeds in Seattle. Yes, I do mean the supernatural. I
should know. I'm a wizard, of sorts, a code-shaman. Spirits and
ghosts can hear what I say. Sometimes they'll listen. If it suits
them. This town is full of them

And ravens. Ravens own this part of Seattle...
