 All That She Wants, part 1 (no sex)

   Summary: A young single mother uses a service to get all that she wants:
another baby, hassle free...and a bit more...



   Caitlyn was all a young woman who wanted to be a single mother could ask
for in a baby girl.  Well almost...

   You see, Alicia knew who Caitlyn's father was: a former boyfriend. 
Shortly after she found out she was pregnant Alicia told him that she was
carrying his baby.  When she did, he immediately asked her how she could
have let that happen before practically demanding she get an abortion.  Had
he been more sympathetic with her situation, and/or told her he didn't
think he was ready to be a father, she might have considered having an
abortion; but NO.  His attempt at controlling what she did with her own
body convinced Alicia that she would not only give birth to the baby that
was growing inside her, but would raise it as well.  The day after she told
him she was going to keep the baby, he promptly disappeared.

   Almost two months to the day after Caitlyn was born he reappeared,
claiming he'd had a `change of heart' and wanted to be a father.  Alicia
might have been okay with that, if her ex-boyfriend hadn't said that
"Caitlyn was a bad name" and suggested they should rename her baby.  When
Alicia told her ex-boyfriend, and the father of her child, to "get lost" he
tried to get custody of Caitlyn.  He told anybody who'd listen all sorts of
things to make Alicia sound like a bad mother.  Ultimately, Alicia ended up
having to go to family court, to prove that she was a fit mother in front
of a judge; the judge tore her ex-boyfriend a new one for being a jerk and
wasting the court's time, giving Alicia full custody of her baby girl AND
forcing her ex-boyfriend to pay child support.

   Despite all the headaches, Alicia loved her little girl.  She had always
wanted to be a mother: to have kids...lots of kids.  As a result of
Caitlyn's father actions, Alicia began to question her dreams of having a
home filled with the laughter of lots of children...children that were her
flesh and blood.  There had to be a way for her to have children without a
father trying to control their lives...

   Then, one day, Alicia saw an ad on the internet: the company offered
`superior men' who were willing to father offspring for a fee.  Curiosity
getting the better of her, Alicia requested information from the company.
She was surprised when, little more than fifteen minutes after she put her
contact information into the `contact request form' on the company's
website, she answered her ringing phone, "Hello, is this Alicia Stone?" the
female voice said.

   "Yes, speaking," Alicia replied.

   "Hi Alicia, I'm Jeanie Johnson from YOUR VERY OWN BABY calling in
response to your information request..." the voice on the phone said.

   "Thank you for getting back to me so quickly."

   "We believe in good customer service," the voice on the phone said,
before asking, "I understand you had a few questions about our service?"

   "Yeah," Alicia began, "'Your very own baby from superior men in an
all-natural hassle-free way'?  What do you do...how does it work?  What is
an `all-natural hassle-free way'?"

   "Those are some very good question Alicia.  We will bring a group of men
with superior genetics to you.  You, as our customer, will then have the
opportunity to choose which of those men meet any criteria you may have to
sire your child..." the voice on the phone trailed off.

   "Okay, so then?" Alicia asked.

   There was a barely audible chuckle on the line before the voice
continued speaking, "Then the man or men you choose..."

   "Men?  Why would I want more than one?" Alicia interrupted.

   After a little snort the voice on the phone explained, "By using
multiple men you would get a mixture of their superior genetic material. 
It also has the advantage of meaning that no one man can claim to be the
father of your baby..."

   "Oh...  That sounds good," Alicia reasoned aloud, before asking, "So
then what exactly do those men do?"

   "The men you choose will do their best to provide you with their
superior genetic material so that you can have your very own baby growing
in your very own belly.  It's all done in the way nature intended: no fancy
medical procedures, no pills or injections, no surgery, and more
importantly no pain."

   "Oh, that sounds great..." Alicia commented.  There was a pause in the
conversation before she asked, "Can we set up an appointment?"

   "Of course," the voice on the phone replied, "For maximum effectiveness,
we try to time our appointments for when our customers are ovulating..."

   "Ah..." Alicia cut off the woman on the other end of the phone.  The
paused for a second in thought before saying, "...based on when my last
period was, I should be ovulating in three or four days..."

   "Okay.  To give you the best chances of having a baby, it will give you
the best odds of we'll set up a time for you three days from now..."
