Cute Little Smoker, Ad for "Draggin" Family of Cigarettes (no sex, humor) by this guy (thisguy.1066@gmail.com) Summary: Satirical ad from a fictional magazine that encourages youth smoking. AD FOR "DRAGGIN" FAMILY OF CIGARETTES Across the top of the page in crisp black letters "SMOKING: THE HOBBY THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN ACTIVLY ENJOY...ALL THE TIME" lay over the top of a full-page image. The huge image fills the entire page: it seems so perfect...almost like a Norman Rockwell painting. A multigenerational family of a dozen sitting around a dining room table. What looks like the stereotypical Thanksgiving feast of a whole turkey, a bowl of stuffing, roast potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and the like are sitting on the table. In front of each person around the table is an empty plate; everyone around the table appears to be praying as the man with gray hair sitting at the head of the table looks to be saying grace. There is one thing that seems a bit off in the image: all the people (young and old, male and female) sitting around the table, with the exception of the man with gray hair who appears to be speaking, have a lit cigarette firmly clamped between their lips. The cigarettes of two of the family members (a middle aged woman and a boy who looks to be about fifteen) have glowing reddish-orange cherries at their tips. There are two distinct streams of white smoke descending from the nose of a young girl, who doesn't look to be a day older than five; clearly she is exhaling through her nose. Small streams of wispy white smoke rise from the tips of the rest of the family's cigarettes... Where the chairs meet the floor in the image, more words appear, "DRAGGIN HAS CIGARETTES FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THE FAMILY" On the next line more words, "from the mildest: Draggin Cutiepies with the spiral vented filter" another line, "to the strongest: filterless 150 extra-wide King Draggin's" yet another line, "available in all your favorite flavors" In the lower left corner of the page tiny words read, "tar and nicotine content varies, see Draggin Cigarettes website for more information"
