 After Work

   After getting home from a long hard day.  Wondering what to feed this
face.  Taking off my hot sweaty shows, lying back on the couch.  Thinking
of all that was left undone at work that day.  Getting up long enough to
get a drink.  Picking up the TV clicker, seeing what is good that may be
on. Lying back on the couch where the world is mine.  Just the way I had in
mind.  Lying down in my very own space and no nose to get me down.  I click
the channels around to find some thing that will help me to settle down. 
There on the couch I veggie out.  The loving dog there by my side to help
me unwind.  Now this is the life for me and only me.  I think as I fall
asleep.
