 Chapter 20



   Kit is in front of the bathroom mirror brushing her hair while Angie is
in her bedroom getting dressed.  They walk into the living room together
when Kit looks at Angie, horrified and says, "You can't wear that".  Angie
looks down at her clothes, amazed that she isn't happy.  She shrugs and
says, "The dressed code is a t-shirt and jeans".  Kit shakes her head
frustrated that they couldn't just leave.  She goes back to her room,
returning with a white shirt.  "Here this is better".  Angie frowns and
says, "It's white, this is red and black".  Kit frowns and says, "A Flaming
Eagle shirt ain't suitable for work.  I know you love that old band but
come on".  Angie looks down at it and says, "So"?  Kit frowns and says, "It
has tears all over it".  Again Angie shrugs and says, "It's made to look
like an eagle scratched it".  Kit grows and says, "Change shirts".



   Angie takes off the shirt to reveal she isn't wearing a bra.  Kit growls
and says, "Angie please, for once in your life take this seriously.  I
vouched for you".  Angie frowns and replies, "Kit why don't you ever have
fun"?  Kit shakes her head and says, "Angie fucking every person you see
ain't having fun".  Angie shakes head then says, "Says the girl that fucked
both of her crushes".  Kit scowls and says, "Says the girl that'll fuck any
one she meets", with a snarl.



   Angie walks back into her room, and puts on the shirt that Kit picked
out.  Just to be stopped as she stepped out of her room by her gasping and
says, "I see nipples.  You still ain't wearing a bra".  Angie giggles and
says, "Hell after Spec sees me.  I won't be wearing it anyway".  Kit growls
and throws one at her that was lying on the living room floor and says,
"One; Spec doesn't like you, and told me to keep you calm.  No antics when
your there.  That means no flirting with him or customers or coworkers".



   Angie growls mockingly and says, "Oh that means me and you can't fuck on
break".  Kit didn't think and blurts out, "I never said".  Angie laughs
making Kit relies what she's saying.  She changes the subject and says,
"Angie please, we both need our jobs.  You're just on a trail run.  If I
loose my job we'll only have your savings.  Which I have to say I'm very
proud of how much you saved and how far you've stretched it".



   Angie giggles and says, "Kit I've already told you.  I pay my own way".
Kit shrugs and says, "Well it works.  So what's your system"?  Angie
laughs, "Kit I've told you before I don't pay for stuff".  Kit giggles and
says, "So you flirt with the boys and they give you stuff?  You need to
teach me that". Angie shrugs and says, "Sure.  It takes a bit to figure out
what their wanting sometimes.  But hell, sometimes it's easy.  Like this
morning.  This cat walked up to me and just asked".  Kit's very confused.
"Hell we sat down in the corner booth.  He wanted me so bad.  He came as

   Kit is staring in shock then gasps, "Angie!?" Angie waits for the

says, "What if he was sick"?  Angie still laughing to herself says, "Like
what a sexual disease?", Then rolls her eyes.  Kit just frowns.



   Kit lets out a growl after looking at the clock, and says, "Angie, I
need to get to work.  I'm never late and you better start getting some
better values or you'll be out of a job soon to".  Angie laughs and says,
"Oh is mommy mad"?  She thinks to herself then says, "Damn I like that.  I
might start calling you mommy in bed".  Kit slowly shakes her head and
says, "No Angie!  Not till you start acting more responsible".  She lifts
up her shirt and bra and says, "This".  She then repositions them and then
pulls down her pants and panties and says, "And this".  She fixes them and
continues talking, "are off limits.  I don't fuck prostitutes".  She turns
and leaves.  Angie is still shocked as she says, "Damn, feisty little fox",

   Spec is at the register looking at a comic and raises his eye brows at
them but decides it's best to stay out of it.  So he walks over to Angie to
welcome her.  Angie Stands up straight, and fixes her shirt making it form

frustrated and motions Cindy to take over.  Kit walks out still mad and
begins working while Cindy shows Angie around.



   After the tour Cindy puts Angie to work helping Kit.  Angie smiles and
says, "So how about I sit here while you stock"?  She's just joking but Kit
growls and says, "Angie, you need to stop flirting with Spec.  He's your
boss, respect that".  Angie looks at Kit stunned that she's still very mad
and says, "Kit" but Kit shushes her and says, "Get to work".  Angie laughs
and says, "Oh what, you're my supervisor"?  Kit ignores her and goes to the
other side of the store to work there.  After a few minutes Angie walks
back to Kit getting tired of her being mad and says, "Kit".  But she's
answered with her shaking her head saying nothing.  Angie sighs and goes
back to work.



   She doesn't bother trying to talk again till lunch when she sees Kit
laughing with Jen.  Curious to see what's so funny she walks over but is
greeted with Kit snarling and saying, "Come on Jen, lets get lunch".  Jen
nervously smiles and says, "Sorry but I packed mine".  Kit smiles at her to
show she's not mad and walks out.  Angie follows behind her.  Jen says to
herself, "They're friends?  I'd hate to see if they hated each other".



   Outside Angie manages to stop Kit two blocks away and says, "Come on Kit
I've told you before." Kit now has a hurt look on her face and shrugs
before walking away saying, "Leave me alone".Angie turns and leaves, going
to the sandwich shop she went to the day before.



   She orders her food and sits thinking about why Kit's so mad.  Then the
cat from the day before sits down smiling.  She looks up and says, "Hey".
He grins and says, "I'm horny again".  Angie replies by smiling.  He nods
and says, "So bathroom"?  Angie starts to say, "Sure", but just then
remembers Kit.  She groans and says, "I can't do this anymore", then gets
up and goes back to work.  Alex yells, "Hey Angie.  Someone's got to pay".
Angie rolls her eyes.  Then walks over and hands her a ten then leaves



   Back at work Angie goes straight to where she left off and begins work.
A minute later Kit goes back to her spot not paying attention.  She turns
around to Spec and says, "Oh Angie's probably going to be late getting
back".  He looks up and points to the corner where Angie's bent over taking
out books to put up.  Kit is speechless and says, "Sorry Spec", feeling a
surge of pride that she got through to her.  He nods and goes back to what
he was doing.  Kit grins then begins going through magazines making sure
their in order



   That evening while they're leaving, Angie walks up beside Kit and says,
"Kit I need to say something to you".  Angie just gets a shrug from her. 
She's over being mad proud that Angie actually worked without even raising
an eyebrow to flirt with Spec or any customer coming in.  But she doesn't
want her to know yet.



   At home Kit gets dressed into something more comfortable, a red t-shirt
and blue jean shorts.  She steps back out and sees Angie sitting on the
couch.  She looks to see what she's watching.  But it's off.  Kit stares at
her for a second then Angie says, "Kit you know I don't sit and beg someone
to forgive me.  If you're still mad I'm sorry but I've told you before". 
Kit doesn't flinch and says, "Angie", but doesn't have anything else to
say. So she just leaves the apartment with her arms crossed.  Only
uncrossing them long enough to open the door.



   Angie looks back.  Then back at the blank TV screen.  Before groaning
and says, "Any one on the planet.  Could be mad at me and I'd give lesser
shit.  But she is and I'm torn to peaces".  She hits the couch with the
bottom of her fist and says, "Damn it Kit".  She doesn't know what to do
though.  So she just ends up going to the kitchen and waits for Kit's
return.



   After a few minutes though she gives up and goes back to the couch
before going to her bedroom, then Kit's.  Finally she says, "The hell is
she doing over there"?  She then chuckles and says, "Oh, okay", before she

   Angie's heart's racing, not knowing what to do.  So she says, "Go home
Josh".  He's panicking but listens.  Angie grabs Kit's wrist in panic
afraid of loosing her but is answered with, "Get your paws off of me.  I
don't talk to hookers".  Angie in desperation hugs Kit and begins French
kissing to rekindle what they had.  But Kit bites it and pushes her off,
and packs her bags before walking out the door.  Angie's just staring as
she leaves.  No idea what to do.  She sighs then says, "Damn it, Kit".



   She waits in there for a bit longer before walking outside to see if
she's there.  After seeing the answer's no.  she knocks on Josh's door.  He
answers but is speechless it's clear he's been jacking off oblivious to
what happened.  Angie grins and says, "Sorry", then goes back searching for
Kit.



   Later she returns to the apartment speechless.  She whispers, "Damn it
Kit".  She doesn't know what else to say.  Someone she thought would never
leave just left her.  She just stands for a few minutes trying to think of

   "Why is she this upset?  I've done this since I first went into heat.
