 Ch.12

   Outside the bar Kit's propped up against Angie trying to act casual. 
Frustrated because people's looking at them Angie whispers in Kit's ear,
"Kit it's illegal to be drunk in public.  Stand up and act like your not,
till we get home".  Kit smiles, but fails at acting sober.  When she stands
up she staggers to the building running into it.



   Angie sighs and stops at a bus stop, sitting Kit down.  Angie shakes her
head and says, "You really are a light weight".  Kit giggles.  "I had the
same amount as you and I'm just lightly buzzed, and I can't even enjoy that
because I'm trying to keep you from getting in trouble".  Kit looks at her,
laughing then says, "Sowey".  Angie shakes her head.



   Once the bus arrives Kit looks at Angie and says, "I thought we where
going home".  Angie nods then helps her on.  The driver don't turn them
away he just shakes his head.  The others ignore her apparently their use
to people getting on drunk.



   They arrive at home a minute later.  Angie lays Kit down on the couch.
Kit's fascinated with her hand.  She then says, "Angie we need to get our
nails done".  She stands up but passes out on to the floor.  Angie shakes
her head but is happy to see Kit's passed out.  She sighs then says, "She
only had three glasses".



   She sits at the kitchen table and starts sorting through bills but looks
up when she hears keys rattling outside the door.  Seconds later she hears
the lock unlock and a gray squirrel walks in.  Angie stands up and stares
with tears forming in her eyes.  She's in disbelief.  She can't believe who
she sees.



   Julianne looks at Kit then rolls her eyes and says, "She's really
trashed ain't she".  Angie has a puppy dog look on her and says, "Yep." She
then runs to give Julianne a hug.  She's thinking that if Julianne wants
her room back she'll move in with Kit.  Or just sleep on the couch.  She's
just happy her friend is home, ignoring the fact that Julianne just walked
in without notice or reason.



   As soon as Angie gets to her, Julianne stops her and says, "No Angie;
we're done.  I just forgot my wallet".  She walks into Angie's room and
says, "Where the fuck did you put it slut"?  Angie is crying now and says,
"Put what"?  Julianne turns and rolls her eyes.  "Where did you put my
wallet.  You and that whore had better not have used anything in it.  I
need it to help out my new girl Roxy".  That goes through Angie like a bolt
of lightening.  Tears start forming in her eyes and Angie begins crying. 
Julianne rolls her eyes walks over to Angie.



   "Angie I know you loved me but sorry I can't date a girl who's fucking
another".  Angie fills with rage and slaps Julianne as hard as she can. 
Julianne then attacks digging her nails into Angie as they roll on the
floor a little bit before Angie kicks Julianne off.  Julianne shakes her
head then turns her head to Kit.  She laughs and says, "Damn you got her
wasted .Was you planning on fucking her"?  She laughs hard then punches
Kit. Kit looks up and says, "Hey what did I do to you".  She lays simply on
the floor with just a vague comprehension of what's going on.



   Angie pulls Julianne away then shoves her to the door and says, "It's
time to leave.  We're through".  Julianne begins laughing hard and says,
"Awe you still thought I was dating you slut?  Didn't I just tell you I
have someone else?  Bitch I left you".  She leans against the wall
laughing.



   Angie snarls then begins walking towards her with her growl growing
louder as she approaches.  Julianne mockingly says, "Oh the fox is going to
eat the squirrel".  She turns and hit Angie with her tail.  Angie catches
it and bits causing Julianne to let out an ear shattering stream.  She
turns and punches at Angie but it's blocked.  Angie punches her back then
jumps biting Julianne in the throat and clamping down hard.



   Panic over takes Julianne because she can now no longer breath she
starts fighting, kicking, and punching, Angie.  Then suddenly Angie lets go
and says, "Leave now".  With out a second thought Julianne's out the door.



   Angie walks over to the corner and sits, tears rolling down her face and
crying.  Kit looks up and says, "Oh buddy oh pal don't worry about it.  She
was a".  She rolls on her back laughing and says, "Meany person".



   Angie sits in the corner crying.  She's remembering the times with her
ex.  She mumbles to herself.  "I'm going to miss her".  She wipes the tears
off her face then begins undressing Kit then herself.  Kit looks up and
says, "Oh no.  I want to fuck you, yay".  Angie looks down at her and says,
"That don't make any since Kit".  Kit just laughs.  She picks her up and
walks to the bathroom.  Kit looks at her smiling drunkenly and says, "OH
sexy shower".



   Seconds later, there is a howl.  Kit screams out, "Fuck that's cold". 
Angie's laughs and says, "There you go".  Kit jumps out and starts shaking
and says, "Why the hell did you do that".  She then holds her head and
says, "My".  She doesn't finish she covers her mouth and runs to the
toilet. Angie walks out and says, "Kit, you're a light weight but you have
a way of making me feel better".



   She steps into the living room to see Julianne again.  "Oh was the slut
going to fuck the whore".  "Julianne please, just leave".  Julianne shakes
her head slowly and says, "No, no, no.  This is my place, you leave.  Leave
and take that slut with you".



   Kit holding her head steps out and says, "Actually according to local
law Angie has been paying the bill in excess of six months.  So it's legal
hers.  So leave before we call the cops".  Julianne rolls her eyes and
says, "Oh you're fucking a slutty lawyer".  Angie, not knowing that law or
how Kit knew it, just smiles and says, "By the way Julie.  Kit fucks a lot
better than you".  Julianne smirks and says, "Well I still see my Angie
Wangie is still calling me Julie.  But I'm gone bitch.  Thought I'd give
you another chance to kick the slut out and get me back".  Angie puts a
hand on her hip and says, "Oh I thought you moved on, and you just came
back for your wallet".  Angie laughs and says, "So you admit it now get
out".  Kit walks up with Angie's phone in her hand and says, "I'm going to
call the cops now leave".



   Julianne don't bother fighting then turns quick and leaves while
flipping them off.  Angie follows her but just to get the spare key.  When
she returns she manages to get the door shut before running to Kit and
begins crying.  Kit hugs her, feeling bad for her.  She escorts her friend
to her room where she tucks her in.  Then crawls in beside her and gives
her a kiss on the lips.  Angie smiles and returns it but then stops and
listens.



   Kit frowns, thinking she was going to get laid says, "What"?  Angie
makes a shushing motion.  Then gets up and walks over to her window and
opens it.  Kit then hears it, also.  The both look down and see Julianne
curled up in a ball crying, on the sidewalk.  She looks over to Angie who
has a different hurt look so she quickly says, "Angie please".  Angie
shakes her head and says, "Kit I love her".  She then leaves.



   A minute later Kit looks down and sees Angie and Julianne kissing and
hugging each other.  Kit feels a hurt feeling and sits down on Angie's bed.
Just seconds ago she felt a surge of hope that she would no longer be
single, that Angie was going to date her now that she could finally let go
off Julianne, but now she starts crying knowing their down on the street
kissing.



   She's crying and says, "I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend but I've
had sex four times.  I am a slut".  "No you not Kit sorry I said that". 
Kit almost jumps out of her fur.  She turns to see Angie and Julianne
standing beside each other holding hands.



   "Kit I know how much Angie fills about you and I sort of thought I'd be
kicked to the curb or she'd just leave with you.  So I didn't give her the
chance I just left".  Angie hugs her and says, "I know I'm crazy but'. 
Julianne smiles and says, "Please Kit from now on call me Julie".  Kit
smiles and says, "OK".  She really didn't like her especially from her
vague spotty memory of them just being in a viscous fight.



   Angie starts checking her neck and says, "Damn I bit down pretty good".
Julianne nods and says, "Yeah it hurt like hell.  I haven't been bit like
that since I cheated on Sunny".  Angie frowns and says, "Who's that"?



   Julianne shrugs and says, "Oh just an ex".  Kit frowns and says, "Does
she know you broke up with her"?  Julianne laughs and says, "I think.  I
had to throw her in jail because she tried to kill me.  Then I got a
restraining order on her.  She's not even allowed in this state or any
neighboring ones".  Angie laughs and says, "That was more than a fight". 
Even Kit laughs, she's nervous about this topsy turby event that one second
they're friends then the next they're not.  But seeing Angie happy is
enough, so she goes along with it.



   Julianne sits on the couch and says, "Man I missed this spot." Angie
curls up beside her.  Kit sits across the room in the chair she's beginning
to feel jealousy especially when they kiss.



   A low growl comes from Kit's throat and says, "Angie you where just so
mad at this bitch.  You where going to kill her now you're...", she pauses
for a brief second, then screams, "TOGETHER AGAIN!"



   Angie sits up and says, "Kit we weren't dating.  I was technically still
with her." Kit gets up and runs to her room.



   She jumps on her bed and covers her face with her pillow and cries into
it.  She hears the door starting to open.  "Angie, get out".  "No Kit; it's
Julie".  "What the fuck?  Deferentially get out.  I can't kick you out of
the apartment but I can my room now leave".  She uncovers her face to see
if she did and is happy to see she's alone and the doors shut.  Kit
mumbles, "Damn she's like a ninja.  I didn't even hear her leave".



   She laid back down and closes her eyes.  But minutes later she hears
moaning coming from Angie's room.  Then, "Oh yes Angie".  More moans then
"Oh fuck I missed this".  Kit feels a shot of pain and emptiness in her
chest and begins crying again.



   Having to hear her friend and the person she was beginning to think
could be her someone special, having sex with her apparent girl friend.  Is
the most painful and confusing thing she's ever had to hear.  It's more
painful then when she found out her pet mouse had died when she was a pup.



   Then a minute later she hears a phone and, "OH hey honey.  Yeah I'm
staying a few more days." Kit gets a smile next when she hears, "THE FUCK!
GET OUT NOW FUCKING WHORE AND DON'T LOOK BACK".  Kit gets happy when she
hears Julianne scream, "OH CRAP!", then the sounds of things breaking next
door, and through the living room just before the door slams shut.  Then,
"DON'T EVEN COME BACK SKANK!"



   Kit wipes the smile off her face and puts on an "I fill sorry for you"
one on before she goes to comfort Angie.  To her surprise isn't sad this
time she just says, "I waited for the slut.  Then gave her a second chance
and this is the thanks I get.  They walk into Angie's room where they hear,
"Hey I don't know she was just some nut.  I swear.  Please don't do this.
She is nobody".  The she hears crying and sees Julianne running away.  She
looks back at Angie who says, "Karma's a bitch".
