Part 2: King XXI Cresendyas

King 21

This novel include graphic sex scenes, some involving minors, rape and forced sex. It is purely a fantasy and is not depicting real people or events. It is intended as a satire and is meant to be both funny and stimulating. The stories have a political slant as you will see. I hope you enjoy them. New chapters will be published as they are finished.

The crystalline ships descended on skirts of pure blue light energy illuminating the rippled and jagged landscape below.

There were hundreds of them falling from the towering gray clouds and Cresendyas was awed by the spectacle even though he’d witnessed it all before. His mind was clouded with worry, however. The return of Belial was never a reason for celebration. Always when it seemed his life was returning to some semblance of decency and normalcy, Belial seemed to show up again to ruin things. The Dark Lord and his Publican Guard Ops took great pride in reminding him that he, Cresendyas, was only one of Atlantis’ Acting Directors in Belial’s absence.Thankfully, Belial was absent often, usually on long, unexplained trips that no one ever questioned.

Cresendyas had for nearly a full circle of the earth around the sun been able to implement some changes in Atlantian culture to make life better and less likely to resort in violent death.Belial now would reverse those policies and perhaps even punish those who had ruled Atlantis with such compassion. Cresendyas had no fear for himself, but worried that his wife, Sular, and daughter, Mian, might also be singled out for punishment. As royals, Cresendyas and his little family would theoretically be spared the worst Belial’s fevered imagination might bring to bear.Yet, Belial’s power had grown even in his absence.

Crensendyas had managed to drive the worst offenses of Belial’s cultsunderground, at least in the districts Cresendyas controlled.Yet throughout Atlantis, there was a perverse and sadistic streak never tempered by Christian teachings. Christ’s birth was at least 15,000 years in the future, and despite the high technology Atlantis had developed, at its soul, Atlantis was still a very primitive culture ruled by emotion and sadism.Although not the supreme power in Atlantis, Belial ruled its darkest and most thuggish elements.

The largest of the crystal ships dropped to the center of a large landing strip where Cresendyas and perhaps another 500 of Belial’s other appointees waited, some bearing gifts. When the ship touched down, one side dissolved in a brilliant burst of light. Then emerged the beginning of a great procession filled with naked women dropping flower petals to pave the way for the dark lord’s return. Belial himself floated on a golden thrown surrounded by reptilian slaves captured from the lands where the great lizards once ruled.

Belial, himself, took his look from the reptilians he so admired.Today, he wore the horned head gear and long pointed tale that mimicked the reptilians and carried a claw-like scimitar as he waved to his worshipers below. His face had an elongated look too and Crensendyas wondered if the dark lord had undergone some form of facial modification.

Rumor had it that Belial often visited the reptilian lands and had actually made friends there, but no one not invited on Belial’s journeys would ever presume to ask where his travels took him. The procession came to a sudden stop with the sudden wave of Belial’s scimitar near where Cresendyas stood.Belial looked down on him as if he were an insect.

Cresendyas, my young man, I hear unusual reports, cousin, about some policies you put in place in my absence,”Belial said.

“Only in the nine northern districts I have control over,” Cresendyas said.“We had some problems and had to implement some changes to prevent more violence.”

“Well, I am happy to hear you solved a problem,” Belial laughed.“That’s what I hear about you cousin.A great problem solver, Cresendyas.A man of the people.Just remember, cousin, that all power you have flows first through me. I appointed you.I can take you down.Tomorrow, we shall discuss which it shall be. One hour past breakfast, come to my crystal palace. And bring your sweet little family. Why it has been ages since last I saw sweet Mian. How old is she now, 14 or 15? Bring her along.”

Cresendyas heart was filled with dread as the procession resumed its former pace toward Belial’s palace. His arms were pulled closed to his sides and his fists were balls of fury.

“Not Mian,” he said through clenched teeth.

Later at home he and Sular furiously tossed Mian’s clothes into a leatherbag and argued with one another.

“We won’t leave you,” Sular said, grabbing his arm.

“You will take Mian this night to the northern province,” Cresendyas said, brooking no debate.“Your uncle, Breden, will hide and protect you both.I must stay here.I knew the risks, but you and Mian are innocent. I will not let that bastard punish me through you.”

“But Cresendyas, you are all we have,” Sular said.“We cannot live if you are not with us.”

“No my love,” Cresendyas responded. “He means to have you and Mian as slaves in his sex circus.I heard it in his voice when he spoke to me. I did not imagine he could hurt youbecause of me since you are of a royal family, but he is within his rights to take you both as sex slaves now that Mian is of age. He can claim his rights.”

“But what will he do to you?” Sular said.

“Anything he wishes,” Cresendyas said, grabbing more of Mian’s clothing to toss into the bag.“I am a lowly bureaucratwho, in his mind, deserves only punishment.I insulted his damn sex cults because I grew tired of finding headless corpses on the streets of Atlantis. He can’t forgive that insult.”

There was a voice from behind them.

“The escort troop has arrived to take you on your way,” said Tclaw, their butler. He’d entered the room unnoticed while they argued.

“Escorts?” Sular said. “I did not call them. Did you?”

The look on Crensendyas’s face told his wife that flight no longer was possible.

“I must say that it is a large escort,” Tclaw said.“They have completely surrounded the house.”

“Yes, Tclaw, my benefactor never misses a trick,” Cresendyas said.

Just past the breakfast hour, Cresendyas, Sular and slight, little Mian waited nervously in the anteroom to Belial’s throne room. They were surrounded by guards carrying evil-looking lightning guns capable of disemboweling their target and frying their insides.

“This is not your fault, Cresendyas,” Sular said, running her hands through her husband’s hair.“You did what you thought was right and did all you could to protect us.”

“Not enough,” Cresendyas said, shaking his head. “Not nearly enough.”

They were summoned without warning into Belial’s presence. The Dark Lord squatted imperiously on his throne and admired the female flesh that accompanied Cresendyas into the throne room.To him. Sular and Mian were like steak sandwiches to be feasted upon. Belial’s harem was stocked with thousands of women, but new flesh always excited him. He knew now what he had to do to Cresendyas.

“Cousin, while I was gone, I kept hearing reports of you disrupting the processionals and festivities of my followers, especially the water district covens and satraps,” Belial said, addressing Cresendyas directly.

“I had to do so, Lord, they kept leaving their debris behind in the streets as proof of their need to be pruned,” Cresendyas said, with barely disguised contempt.

“Yes, they are a particularly sloppy lot,” Belial admitted.

“And brutal as well,” Cresendyas continued.“They would pull innocent women from the safety of their homes at night, rape them repeatedly, then sacrifice them. The next morning, we would find their headless corpses nailed to walls or scattered about like garbage in the streets.Husbands and fathers came to me and begged that I put an end to it all.I had no choice but to act, as I am sure, Lord, you would have, had you been here.”

“So your claim is that you were acting in my behalf,” Belial said.“A simple street cleaner with a garbage problem?”

“No, Lord, a man who is a husband and father myself,” was the response. “I could not tolerate such treatment of my wife and daughter and I acted not in the interest of street sanitation but as a husband and father.”

“You misunderstand the power I extended to you,” Belial said.“The power you wield in my name was to bear witness to the extent of my power. The rapes and the corpses in the street are evidence of the power I wield on the streets of Atlantis in the districts I control.”

“Lord, you are not supreme here,” Cresendyas started to say, “The chancellors…”

“Will soon be marching to my tune,” Belial said.

Belial thought for a moment.

“I wonder how much I can tell you, cousin,” Belial said after awhile.“I guess it is of no matter now. The die is cast. You and other have wondered where I have gone on my prolonged absences from Atlantis. You, like many, perhaps hoped I never would return.”

Cresendyas kept quiet. The look on his face was the only answer needed.

“Yes, you hoped my trips would be fatal and you could assume the power I gave you permanently,” Belial said. “ Why else would you feel so free to act against me?”

Then with a dramatic flourish, Belial turned and threw down a scroll at Cresendyas’ feet.

“I have mapped the quadrants of ancient great lizard culture that once ruled the earth for millions of years before they discovered the secrets to inter-dimensional and time travel and then disappeared from the earth,” Belial said.“The great reptile’ best and brightest disappeared into those interstices in space time, leaving behind a vastly inferior slave reptile culture that served them and now serves me.”

Belial let his words sink in before he continued.

“I now have nearly duplicated the abilities of the great lizards in my ability to move beyond our own time and dimensional space and that gives me a greater power than any the chancellors of Atlantis ever hoped to possess,” he said.“Power enough to do unafraid anything that crosses my mind.”

“Belial, do what you want to me,” Cresendyas said.“But Sular and Mian are royal by birth, direct descendants of Great Chancellor Muhtoy. He will demand that you release them immediately or there will be consequences.”

“I see, cousin, you require proof of my supremacy over Muhtoy and all of the other chancellors,” Belial said.

He turned to a guard and motioned toward Mian and Sular.“Prepare them for me,” he said. “I will take joy in feasting this day on great Muhtoy’s females and poor, wretched Cresendyas’ pretty party favors.”

Sular and Mian were summarily stripped naked and strapped spread-eagled to large marble blocs at the center of Belial’s throne room.“Nooooo.” Cresendyas screamed, pulling mightily against the grip of two powerful reptile guards at his side.

Belial was a large man with a heavy belly. He unsheathed his flesh weapon and stepped between Sular’s wide open legs.“Daddy, stop him,” Mian said.“Don’t let him hurt Mommy.”

Cresendyas struggled but there was no shaking the extraordinary strength of his captors. Belial plunged deeply into Sular’s vagina and she screamed out in pain.

“Sex is power.” Belial said to Cresendyas as he raped Sular.“This is the lesson you failed to understand, cousin.Herewith is the lesson you will not soon forget.”

Again and again, Belial plunged into Sular and when he had finished with her he told his aid to “prepare the little morsel.”

Even Belial’s aid was somewhat disturbed by what Belial was demanding.

“Lord, with your girth, you will split her like a pea pod,” the aid said.

“Prepare her,” Belial demanded.

Mian’s lithe body was pulled closer to the edge of the marble bloc where Belial could reach her more easily. He thrust into her with a vigor that sent a spray of blood through the crowd.Mian screamed as if her insides were being ripped asunder as, indeed, they were.

“Daddy, no. please,” Mian screamed.

She begged for her father, anyone, to save her, but when it was over, nothing was left of her.Life itself had been crushed from her body.Upon seeing her daughter so mercilessly slaughtered, the remnants of what had been Sular managed to free one hand long enough to pull a knife from the scabbard of an attending guard and plunge it into her own throat. She made an effort to slice Belial open, but he was, by then, well beyond her reach, so killing herself seemed the only remedy.Cresendyas could only hang his head in shame and anger.

He swore that day a vengeance that echoed down through history to the very present. But it was not to be a vengeance quickly fulfilled.

“Cousin, I have nothing against you,” Belial told him.“I even like you.But what I did today is not out of a sense of revenge or anger. I did it because I could.Because I desired what you had and had the power to take it from you.It is just so simple. And I think I would like your pain to continue.I will have my guards take you to the lowest caverns in the imperial quarters and there confine you until I am ready to free you or kill you.I think I would like you to be here at the hour of my final triumph when I totally control the power of the Great Lizard’s time traveling devices. When that happens, I will, at last determine your fate.”

The blast seared Crensendyas’ flesh even in the lowest reaches of the caverns of Atlantis. When at last, he and another prisoner had strength to pry open the rusty locks of their weakened cell door, they climbed through the heated, glowing passages for what seemed like days before reaching the surface. They discovered a landscape that looked as if it had been scraped clean with a large blade. All of Atlantis had disappearedas if it never had existed. The whole island was tilting toward the north as if something or someone was attempting to bury it beneath the waves from the south.

“The island will soon disappear into the sea,” Cresendyas companion told him.“We must leave soon.’

Violent earthquakes rattled the island and more than once Cresendyas thought he heard the roar of great Lizards, the gods Belial once worshipped.Had they come back for vengeance?

Whenever Cresendyas encountered another Atlantean survivor, he asked the same question. What of Belial? Where had he gone?

Always the answer was the same. Belial had followed his dinosaur gods through the curtains of time and space. It was Belial’s experiments that had destroyed Atlantis and even now were driving the once great land into the surrounding sea basin in such a manner that it could never be discovered again. All vestiges would soon be gone.It was as if the earth was being cleansed of great and odious stain.

Despite his companion’s entreaties to flee, Cresendyas remained in the vicinity of Atlantis for weeks after the blast. He search for the remains of Sular and Mian.He was surprised to learn that he had spent the better part of four years locked in Belial’s caverns and that any trace of Sular’s and Mian’s bodies vanished long before the blast that destroyed Atlantis. And the blast had killed nearly anyone else he knew or knew of him.He had emerged from the pits a man with no past and no future.

The knowledge that Belial had escaped his planned vengeance and worse, may have the ability to travel through time, appearing whenever and wherever he wished, troubled Cresendyas greatly. At last, he grew weary of picking through what little remained of Atlantis and fashioned a small raft from a few bits of wood and canvas he was able to find and sailed alone into the great and turbulent northern sea.

On what continent he emerged my family never recorded. But it was recorded that he took with him a determination that he and his heirs never would be overpowered by Belial and those like him, that whenever Belial reappeared in time, the ancestors of Cresendyas would be present, ready to do battle and win.

“Sex is power,” Belial had told him and it was the one gift that could have given Cresendyas the strength to survive the 30-foot waves and the shark attacks to reach another land.

The story says Cresendyas had another treasure he carried with him from great Atlantis. It was something that he found glowing in what was the ruins of Belial’s throne room, something Belial had recovered from the Lizard Kings themselves, something they had left behind. It was something that did not exist wholly in any time and place. Belial had called it simply the Quin. And Cresendyas was determined Belial would never see it again until the trap was set.
