Note: This story was dynamically reformatted for online reading convenience. Sue headed into Lied Library at the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and looked for the library directory. She found the section she needed on the third floor. She was struggling with math, and the third floor, hopefully, contained some books that could help her. She headed up the stairs, left the stairwell, and headed to the section to see what she could find. Randall James sat quietly at the table on the third floor and pretended to read. He was really girl watching. The thirty-one year old instructor of Mathematics at Community College of Southern Nevada came to the library once in a while to observe the local female talent. He taught Mathematics at the community college, but also ran a small group of high-class call girls through his exclusive escort service. College campuses were a good place to find new recruits. Randall watched the cute blonde girl walk out from behind the stacks and sit down at the table. About five foot five, thin legs, a nice round bottom, and some jiggling up top presented a pretty picture to him. Her straight her was about shoulder-length, and she wore it in a ponytail. She looked nice. He pretended to read some more but kept his eyes on her. Sue looked at the book she had grabbed from the stack, but there was nothing there that could help her with College Algebra I. She had covered all of this in high school. She stood up and walked back to the stack to get a different book. Randall watched the girl walk. The jean shorts were a bit tight, but that was because of the shape of her butt. They were also very short. She had a nice wiggle and a good gap at the top of her thighs. And he liked the way her breasts jiggled. Randall decided to try and recruit her for his stable. He was a teacher, but he made most of his money as a pimp. He had three girls right now: two brunettes and an Asian. He needed a blonde. Sue came back with a different math book. This one appeared to have the information she needed. She was failing, and she really did not want to have to repeat the course. She grabbed her pen and pad and went to work. Randall watched her. The blonde was obviously agitated. He would let her sweat a bit and then offer her some assistance. However, he had to get her out of the library quickly. Randall had a deep ebony color to his skin. There were still people in this town that resented seeing a black man with a white woman, especially if she was blonde. As of late, they had been quite vocal. And Randall was not going to date her. He was going to put her to work. Sue wrestled with the algebra. This book was very helpful. She took notes, but her notes were more of a word-for-word copy. She would get this information down on paper, take a soda break, and then head back to her dorm for dinner. Then she would study some more tonight. Randall watched her leave and then got up and followed. He was good at this. He could approach a strange woman and have her making small talk in about twenty seconds. He slowly followed the girl to the lounge downstairs, keeping a respectful distance. When she stood in front of the Coke machine, he approached quickly. Randall was an expert at "accidently" bumping into a woman. When Sue turned, she ran smack into the tall African-American. She smiled and said, "Excuse me." "No problem at all," said Randall, returning the smile. "Did you get your Math homework done?" "How did you know I was doing Math?" asked Sue, smiling, and stepping aside. "It was an easy guess," said Randall, while making his purchase. "You're hanging in the Math section and actually doing work. Most of the students who come to the library actually come to look for a date, and in that case the Mathematics section is absolutely barren. You were actually doing work. How is it going?" The two found a table in the corner of the lounge and sat down. Randall went and got a soft pretzel, and then the conversation continued. "I'm having a tough time with College Algebra," said Sue, seriously. "It's really more than I expected. By the way, I'm Sue Williams. I hope I can get through this with a C. I really don't want to have to repeat. Are you a student here?" "Randall James," he said, offering his hand, which she took and gave a weak shake. Nice soft and smooth skin, thought Randall. "No, I am an Instructor in math at CCSN. I also tutor here part time. We don't have a very good technical library at CCSN, so I come down here every once in a while to get the information I need." Randall didn't tutor at UNLV. He did teach at CCSN. The only thing he tutored UNLV girls in was anal and oral sex with black men and how to look great in sexy clothes. The couple kept on talking, and Randall convinced Sue to join him outside on a bench. There were more than a few glances as they walked outside. The two sat on a bench and talked about school in general. Randall gradually turned the conversation to math. "The problem, as I see it," said Randall, "is that the Nevada high schools are deficient in math instruction. So, when the kids get to university or college, they struggle. I see it at CCSN as well. If you ever need any help....." Randall gave Sue his business card, smiled at the girl and left. Sue went back to her dorm to eat and study. Sue pounded the math all that night. On Tuesday, when she took the test, she was just one point on the plus side of a C. The girl was really discouraged that her best was a C after all of that studying. She pulled Randall's business card out of her wallet and took a long look. Okay, so he was black. That was not a big deal to her, except in the small town where she grew up there were absolutely no black people. Still, he seemed nice, and he did offer to help. Perhaps she should give him a call. Sue pulled out her cell phone and keyed in Randall's number.
