He mused about taking another route home otherwise this journey was going to take forever. He decided to take another exit and try and find another way back. "Turn left, turn left." An insistent voice shrilled out. "I'm not sitting in traffic, I'm going to try and find a different way," he replied. "But this is the best way. Turn left." John ignored the advice and put his foot down and accelerated away from the roundabout going in the direction he wanted. "Wrong way, wrong way." The voice responded. "I know, I told you, I'm going a different way to what you are advising." "Go back, go back." She replied, her voice seeming more agitated this time. John had had enough of her voice. "Shut up. I'm going the way which I think will be quicker. I do not want to sit in traffic for the remainder of the way." "Wrong way, wrong way." She replied. John roared along the country lane trying to ignore the nagging voice still repeating her advice. I know what I'm doing." He wasn't really sure if he did but he wasn't going to admit defeat to her. Oh no, if he could find an alternative route he would find it. She sat in silence seeming ignoring John. He wondered if she was sulking because he was taking no notice of her. He smiled to himself thinking `silence is golden.' Suddenly her voice chirped up again when he approached a turning in the road. "Turn right, turn right." John glanced at his `sat nav' system and smiled. "You might just be right."
