Read it to understand why the described events would be possible. She works in an expensive hotel, which has a gym. She works perhaps as a bellgirl, very hard, a lot of hours, she is payed very low, but she is however very nice and polite, the kind of girl that gives you a smile and is helpful regardless of whether she is payed for it. Some client complains that in the gym there was supposed to be a kickboxing (or something similar and hard) training, but there isn't. It was written, so he complains that if he doesn't have it he wants all his money back. The girl's boss was already thinking about firing her because her temporal 6 months are going to expire and now he is forced to pay her more (a decent wage, actually), so he sees the opportunity to get the girl so thrashed out that she cannot continue her job and he can fire her without settlement, because of some obscure legal condition in the temporal employment terms, where if she is not physically able to do her job, she does not get the contract renovation. So he can force her to be the client's opponent in the "training", and both the hotel and the client would not be liable of anything because any injuries she received would be considered as a job accident for which they are not liable because of her abusive contract.
