Note: This story was dynamically reformatted for online reading convenience. Hey, folks. Sometimes there's a little, niggling thing that drives us batty. One that does that to me is the use of an apostrophe for a plural. Plurals don't have apostrophes. Here's today's example (Note that "today's" is NOT a plural): As I prepared dinner, Lisa wandered around looking at the photo's I had up on the walls... The plural of "photo" is "photos." The word "photo's" implies that the photo "owns" something. It's POSSESIVE and, to my knowledge, photos don't own anything. I suppose you could say something like, "The photo's brightness was startling." That's possessive, not plural. One photo. So.... for me and everyone else who cringes at apostrophes being used for plurals... clean it up before publishing it. Stuff like this just ruins the mood in an otherwise great story. Thanx, Cyberguy
