KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Who's pounding on my door at 1AM? "Yes?" "Colonel Wilson. You're needed in Comms. Yellowstone is very active and we are under attack." "Be there in 2 minutes." Grab fatigues for me, shake Molly gently. "Molly. Molly, Honey! Daughter!" "Hi, Daddy. You said 'Honey' and 'daughter' both. I love you." "I love you too, Molly, but there are some problems. They need me in Comms. Do you want to stay here or come with me? If you come, you'll need to bring some quiet things with you and you'll probably be in the little office where you slept yesterday, not beside me. Do you understand?" "Yes, Daddy. I have some books to read and a word puzzle book to work. It seems awfully early to be awake. Can I go back to sleep there?" "Yes, Honey, you can try to sleep there if you want - but it may be very noisy." "I have the earplugs I used when the truck's siren was on. I'll take them." "Good idea, smart girl." "What do I wear?" "Something comfortable. We may be there for a long time. These new jeans seem to be very soft. You want to wear them?" "OK. And I want pink blanket and Georgie Bear." "That's fine, Molly. We need to go now." "Yes, Daddy. Will you hold my hand?" "Of course, Honey. I know you're scared, but I thought it would be better to wake you up and take you with me than for you to wake up later and not know where I was." "I'm glad you woke me up. It would be very scary without you." "We're at Comms. Take your stuff to the little office and I'll check on you later." +Kiss me, Daddy? +Lips only. +And a hug? +Of course. "What's going on, Ed?" "We have a 20% increase in activity at Yellowstone and we have intruders on three sides." "Vehicles or on foot?" "Vehicle near the main gate - probably the biggest dozer I've ever seen. Groups on foot at two other locations along the fence." "The dozer is a tracked vehicle and can be disabled just like a tank. Ian, put a bazooka round near the top of the track." Whoosh! Boom! "The track separated, George. Armed men are running up the road to the Survival Building." "Take them out with the 50 cal. The dozer almost blocks the hole it made in the fence - we can leave it there until daylight but we'll need a sniper on the roof until then." "What about the groups on the south and east sides?" "Those groups are both small. I'll go up on the roof with a sniper rifle and take out a few of them. I want some of them alive to interrogate. We need to know how much they know about the site and where they got the information. Do we have another qualified sniper?" "George Wilson, this is Carl Williams. He was a sniper for the Durham PD." "Glad to meet you Carl. Are you familiar with this weapon?" "We got those about 2 months ago. I've put 50 rounds through one, but never in the real world." "The real world just called your name. If possible, we'll shoot to disable, not to kill - I need some people to interrogate. Take a handie-talkie - we may need to coordinate with each other or with Ed." "Where will we shoot from?" "The top of this building. There are stairways on each corner and you'll have partial cover at those corners. The scopes are infrared and the building has high power infrared floodlights on all sides. Ed, wait two minutes, then turn on the infrared floods. If they have weapons with IR scopes or IR night-vision goggles, they'll be temporarily blinded and we may have an opportunity for some good shots. I'll take the south side; Carl, you take the east." "Yes sir." Looks like seven or eight people in this group - but a couple may be kids? I don't see any weapons beyond a baseball bat. Maybe we have a few more of our expected guests. "Ed, any way to identify people who should be here? The group on the south side looks like it may have a couple of kids in it." "If they have the remote for the gate, it can be interrogated at a distance. If an RFID tag is with it, the tag can also be interrogated." "The group on the east side also appears to have some kids in it." "Ed, see if they have remotes." "The group on the east side has two RFID tags. The group on the south side three RFID tags. I can't tell you if they're friend or foe." "Carl, we'll try for shoulder wounds on the adults. Ed, when the groups clear the trees, bring the visible lights to half brightness and use the PA system to command them to halt. Maybe we can tell whether they belong. Perhaps we'll have them still long enough for some disabling shots." "You, coming through the trees. Stay where you are. You are trespassing on military property and can be shot." "Ed, the group on the south side has dropped their ball bats and pulled out ID's. Can you validate them via the surveillance cameras?" "The group on the east side pulled out weapons from behind the kids and they are shooting at the lights." "Carl, take out the shooters. I'll be there as soon as Ed can get someone out to check the people on this side." "George, I recognize two of the people from Duke and their kids. I think they're being held hostage by the people behind them - I can't see those hands." "I'll resolve that, Ed." Bang! Bang! The two with weapons are down; the others are running toward the building. Squad with body armor and automatic weapons is out to meet them. Time to help Carl. "Where is your group Carl?" "They split up when they heard gunfire. Two coming my way; two at your end. The kids are on the ground by the other adults." "I see the two at this end." That bush isn't much protection from an IR scope. Nice that you're being so still, though. Bang! The other one is looking at the roof, but not my end. Time to remove another threat. Bang! Bang! Bang! Sounds like Carl got the two at his end also. "Ed, can you pick up the injured on the east side of the building and check the kids there?" "Squad on its way." "Back inside Carl. We'll get someone on the roof for the rest of the night to watch the fence around the dozer. We'll repair the fence in the morning after the dozer is moved." "Daddy! Are you OK? I heard shooting and you weren't in here." "Sit in my lap and let me hug you. I was on the roof doing the shooting, Honey. I'm OK. We stopped some people who shouldn't be here and we may have helped some people who should be here." "Are there a lot of people who shouldn't be here?" "Yes, Honey. Only people who are prepared to be here for a long time and to work to make the Earth a place we can live in again should be here. People who only thought of being safe after the ash started falling aren't prepared to stay as long as we will have to stay. Are you OK to go back to the other room now?" "Yes, Daddy." "I'll check on you in a little while, Honey." "George, we have three prisoners in condition for interrogation. The Duke people are in the process of giving full statements. When they asked who the shooter was, I asked whether they had seen the semi and Sidewinder video. They said 'yes' so I just said 'same guy'. Their response was 'This has to be the safest place on Earth'." "Thanks, Ed. We'll do the interrogations with the prisoners surrounded by armed guards carrying automatic weapons. They need to know that some of their people are dead or dying. I'll take the sniper rifle in with me for a little reinforcement of the 'it could have been you' theme. The only deal they get is talk now and be set free or they have a chance to run for the gate after daylight with the same shooters on the roof." "Sounds drastic, George." "No, Ed, just responding in kind. They came in shooting and using kids for shields. Had there not been potential value in interrogation, my orders would have been 'Shoot to kill'. I think we should release portions of the surveillance videos that just have the shooters in them to the local TV stations. We'll identify ourselves as 'a military research and training facility that was attacked by as yet unidentified armed men who attempted to use staff members and their children as shields'. Having staff members with children keeps us from sounding like an armed camp. A couple of shooters crumpling to the ground may deter others." "Colonel Wilson, the prisoners are in the interrogation rooms. Each saw the dead members of their group." "Molly, you stay here." "Yes, Daddy." "Carl, grab your rifle and come with me. It's OK to look at these people as though you were painting bulls eyes on their foreheads - they need the absolute assurance that there is no escape." "You, stand up!" "But I've been shot." "If you don't start talking, you'll have the opportunity to run for the gate in the morning and we'll be on top of the building watching for you. What do you think your chances are of reaching the street?" "It's all Sal's fault! He said this place was some kind of shelter and we could get in if we used his brother-in-law as a hostage." "Which one is Sal?" "He's the first one you shot." "Who are you?" "I'm Sal's best friend - he said I could come if I provided the guns. I didn't know anything about the kids!" "But you were the first to shoot at the men on the roof. I was up there and now I want my turn to shoot at you." "I'm sorry! I was scared!" "And exactly why do you have guns that were stolen from the National Guard armory at the same time several vehicles were stolen?" "I don't know nothing about that!" "Then why are you in Guard fatigues?" "Urr, uhh, I can explain." "Sergeant, handcuffs and leg irons for this one until sunrise. I'll tell you when to turn him loose - after we're on the roof." "No, you can't do that! Marty will kill me if I say anything! " "Who is Marty?" "He'll kill me!" "Probably not a fast and clean as we can." "You're crazy!" "And you're dead. Take him out, Sergeant. If we don't use him for target practice in the morning, you can put him out on the street after midnight tomorrow." "No, please! If you just put me on the street I'll starve - the restaurants are closed and there's nothing but dry beans in the stores. Marty is Martin Voorhies. He works at Duke University. He told us how to find this place and how to get in." "How did he know about us and where do we find him?" "He's head of security at Duke. He lives about 3 miles from here. He's bringing a big group over just before sunrise. They have tanks and guns and stuff and some kind of remote that can open the gate." "Lock this one up. Carl, can you talk with the other two?" "Probably not as effectively as you, George, but you're a great teacher." "Back so soon, George? Were they not talking?" "Only talked to one of them; Carl will take care of the other two. Their contact is Martin Voorhies, head of security at Duke. He's gathering a larger group for an attack at sunrise. They have one or more remotes for the gate and they're coming with tanks and other vehicles - probably more stuff from the Guard armory." "What's your plan, George?" "The ash fall is expected to be very light for the next few hours. We need to check for Duke people being held hostage at Voorhies' house for use in another attack here. If we arm a couple of the ash-resistant electric 'dozers' we can make a near-silent approach to the house. There's scanning gear that can help us determine who is where in the house. I think the circumstances fit a portion of the 'no-shows' who could have walked here. We create a diversion by taking out some of the Guard vehicles at the house, then enter the house and rescue the hostages. The G-O-O-D's are protected from small arms fire and we can safely transport people in the back. After the hostages are safe, I'll use a large C4 charge to take out Voorhies' house. Any investigation by law enforcement will probably conclude that they had bigger 'toys' than they knew how to handle and they simply blew themselves up." "All volunteers, George?" "With some limitations, Ed. Military or law enforcement raid experience is required. We need someone with demolition experience to take out the vehicles. We need people here who can handle the influx of a number of terrified adults and children." "Daddy?" "Yes, Molly?" "There are blankets and teddy bears in the store. If we knew how many kids there were, we could have a blanket and a bear for each one when they got here." "Thank you, Honey. That's a very good idea. We'll have radios on our vehicles and we will call and tell you how many kids there are. It may be very late. Can you stay awake that long?" "I'll go back to sleep until you call on the radio." "Ian, do you have welding experience from your days in Transport?" "All kinds." "Then you take a couple of people and arm the electric dozers. Add anything you can find in the way of guns and armor - think 'A-Team' vehicles. Have them at ground level in an hour." "Will do." "George, are you sure you want to lead this? Molly no longer has an 'alternate'. What if something happens to you?" "Ed, I'm trusting Molly's premonitions. She was worried when she heard shooting and I wasn't here, but she's going to sleep until we call in with the number of kids that need blankets and bears. I don't plan to put myself in harm's way - with prudent military action, I should be OK." "You're right, George. I'd forgotten about that part of Molly's abilities. Should we check with the children of the other people going on this mission?" "It can't hurt. We may not be able to spare some of the people, but we can put them in slightly more secure positions - such as driving or processing people in the back of the G-O-O-D." "This is the first time I've ever used kids' opinions in planning a mission, but I think it will become a standard part of mission protocol." "It's some of the best intel we've ever had, Ed." "George, after checking with the various kids, the only ones concerned are Beth and Jane and they want Ian to 'stay inside the truck'. Since we have so few qualified drivers, that's an easy assignment to make." "OK, I'll drive the other truck. Let the electric vehicles have a 10 minute head start and we'll follow. We'll stop 1/4 mile away while they attempt to locate hostages. If any are found, the troops close in on foot and set charges on the largest vehicles - all set to blow about the same time. When Voorhies' people come out to investigate what happened, our troops will get between them and the house and prevent their return. Those on the electric vehicles can let us know how much help they need and where. Ian can take one truck to the hostage pick up point and I'll take the second one if needed. Everyone clear on assignments?" "Yes, Colonel Wilson." "Then load up and move out the first group. The second group will move in 10 minutes. Remember that some military radio frequencies are compromised with Guard vehicles in other hands. We'll use satellite phones for vehicle to vehicle comms and the encrypted handie-talkies for anything on foot, at least until we secure the area." Those electric vehicles are incredibly quiet. Looks like Ian did a good job with the gun mounts and the "A-Team" armor. They've been gone almost 10 minutes - time to start the rest of this parade. "Ian, time to go." "Lead on, George." "Colonel Wilson, this is the survey team. There appear to be hostages on two levels of the house, based on the sizes of the people. I estimate 8 adults and 12 children. There are about 30 people with visible armament - pistols, shotguns, a couple of AR-15's and a couple of AK-47's. The ones with the AR's are standing guard over the hostages." "Thanks. We'll start the outside diversion in 2 minutes. Does anyone on the sniper team have a shot at the guards?" "Carl says he can get both of them from the roof of the garage. They're bringing around a ladder as we speak." "OK. I'll give a countdown to the demo out here. Carl can take the guards out at the same time. Explosions outside and armed men going down inside should create a lot of confusion. Where will you be bringing the hostages out?" "Over the sun room on the back of the house and down behind the garage. The garage will partially hide the trucks from people in the house." "Good work. Ian, be ready to roll on my count. Is Carl in place?" "Yes sir." "Demo in four, three, two, one, fire!" Boom! Boom! Boom! Bang! Bang! "Chaos inside the house, Colonel Wilson. Carl is two for two. Looks like the hostage rooms had the doors locked to keep them in, but that's also keeping the other armed men out. We're bringing the first group down by the garage now." "George, my truck is in place and we have 6 adults and 8 kids." "Move out, Ian. I'm coming in for the next group." "Colonel Wilson, we have 2 adults and 4 kids. They say they are the only ones here." "Load them in my vehicle and start back in the electric dozers. There are a few more explosives to set off here." "This is Wilson. Is everyone at least 500 yards from the site?" "Yes, Colonel." "Time for Voorhies' house to have an unfortunate gas leak." BOOM! Boom! Boom! "George, did that register on the Richter scale?" "Probably. That's the largest C4 charge I've ever set. The smaller explosions were the vehicles in the garage and the other Guard vehicles in the yard. Let's get these people back to a safe place. Ed, wake Molly and tell her we need a dozen blankets and bears for the kids." "She's already awake, George. She walked over to the radio less than a minute ago. The two of you must have some very powerful connections for it to work at these distances and with her asleep." "I think you're right, Ed. We'll be there in 3 minutes. I know you can read the remotes and RFID tags anywhere on the site. Can you access them farther away?" "Yes. We've been making housing assignments. Jane, Beth, and Lacey wanted to help, so I had them help set out hot chocolate and some canned cookies. Not exactly gourmet foods, but the hostages will be greeted with food and drink. I've recruited all the doctors we have and they will run quick checks on the hostages. The checks will include photos and DNA checks to ensure we don't let an outsider slip in." "Good planning, Ed. Let's make these people welcome, but no new RFID tags until they've been checked." "Daddy!" "Hi, Molly. Did you have enough blankets and bears for all the kids." "Yes, and there's another Molly - she's my age, well, almost - I'm two days older than she is." +Daddy? +Yes, Honey? +The other Molly doesn't have a Daddy. He was killed trying to protect her. Can you be her new Daddy? +Are you sure you want to share me? That means you only get half as much kissy-face and other things? +But she won't get any if you don't take her! +Why do you think it should be me and not someone else? +Because she's on our "channel". I could hear her thinking when she was in the truck. +Where is the other Molly? +Behind you, Daddy. I turn and do a triple doubletake. She's Molly's twin - a fair-skinned little girl whose blue eyes have gold flecks - but with blond hair. +.Will you be my new Daddy, Mr. Wilson? +Is that what you want? +.Oh, yes! I can read Molly like she was inside me and I know you're the best Daddy in the world! +Won't having two Molly's in the same family be confusing? +.No. "Molly" is what everyone but my Daddy called me. He said I looked more like a "Sarah". I'll be Molly's sister Sarah. +OK with me, but we need to check with some other people to be sure it's OK. Most kids have an alternate in case something happens to their Daddy. +.My alternate was my uncle, Jake Davis, but he was in Oregon on business when all the problems started. He called and said that he loved me very much and to remember that because I might never see him again. "Wah! Boo-hoo!" "Sarah, will you let me hold you?" "Yes, Mr. Wilson. You make me feel safe like my Daddy did. Can I live with you and Molly?" "Molly, would you like to have a sister, at least until we find out if Sarah has any other family?" "Yes, Daddy. I would like that very much!" "George, the other people we rescued were worried about this Molly finding someone to take care of her. They all totally approve of you as her new father." "Having two Molly's would be too confusing. My Daddy called me Sarah and that's what I want to be called now." "Ed, do we need formal documentation on this 'instant adoption'?" "I wouldn't be concerned about it now, George. If we need something later, there's a family court judge among the hostages rescued tonight. He can handle the paperwork." "Ed, can you debrief the teams? I think things went well, but there's almost always room for improvement. We might even do some distance testing between the adults and children to see if we can have nearly-impenetrable comms." "Sure, George. Here's an RFID tag for Sarah. You and Molly take her by the Commissary if there's anything she needs. I think it's way past bedtime for all our kids." "Molly, Sarah. Let's go to our quarters. I think Sarah might want a bath or shower before she goes to bed. Molly, do you think you have jammies or a gown that will fit Sarah?" "Yes, Daddy. Sarah's the size I was before I got pregnant, so I have lots of things she can wear - and I know she likes Mickey, Alice, and all the princess things." +.You're pregnant?! +Don't yell, Sarah. Molly and I will explain when we're back in our quarters. +.I'm just surprised because my Daddy said I would be 9 or 10 before I could get pregnant. +The doctors have learned that there's a lot they don't know about little girls with genetic alterations. They thought six year olds might get pregnant, both only a very slight chance. Molly has made them think a lot harder. +.Why? "We can go back to words for 'family private' things when we're in our quarters, Sarah." "OK, Mr. Wilson. Can I call you 'Poppy'? That's what I called my Daddy when we had special time." "Yes, Sarah. You can call me 'Poppy'. That will be easier for me than trying to determine which of my almost identical daughters yelled 'Daddy'." "Poppy, why has Molly made the doctors think harder?" "Because she's pregnant with twins." "But she's so little! How can she have twins?!" "That's one of the concerns the doctors have. Molly may have to be on bed rest long before the babies are due." "Poppy, is there anything I can do to help my sister?" "I think the fact that you want her for your sister is all she needs right now. You need to bathe before you go to bed. Bath or shower?" "Molly, can I have a bath with your Daddy?" "Yes. But listen to what he tells you about the things you want to do. He knows when something starts to hurt me and he'll know on you too." "Then it will be just like being with my Daddy again! Molly, will you let your Daddy make a baby in me? My Daddy was going to but said I had to wait until I was a little bigger. I MISS MY DADDEE! Wah!" "Sarah, let me hold you and rub your back." "Kiss me?" "Yes." "Suck my tongue?" +Yes. +.Rub my butt? +Soft or hard? +.Both! +Molly, run some bath water. If it feels right to you, then it's probably just right for Sarah. +Yes, Daddy. She really needs some loving. +I know. Do you want to stay up and listen? +No, Daddy. I know you'll take good care of my sister. +Goodnight, Honey. +Goodnight, Daddy. I love your mind hugs - you remembered even when your arms were full of Sarah! +Sweet dreams, Honey. Do you want to help fix pancakes in the morning? I'd guess that Sarah likes them as much as you do. +Yes, I'll help and yes, she does. She's just so busy catching up on kissy-face time that she doesn't know we're talking like this. +You know that she'll probably know everything we 'think' to each other after tonight. +Yes, we'll all know everything being 'thought'. +Goodnight, Honey. +Goodnight, Daddy. She has had a penis up her butt a little, but only her own fingers in her vagina. +OK. I'll take gentle care of her. +I know. +Sarah, suck on my tongue. +.I never sucked on my Daddy's tongue. He thought it might be too big or too long for me. +Molly has never had a problem with mine and she can suck it really deep. +Put your finger in my butt? +First let's get you washed. I don't want you to faint in the bathtub. +.How did you know I fainted when I got the good feeling? +Because Molly does if it's really strong. +.Like when you put your thing in her butt? +Yes, Sarah. Did your Mommy or Daddy ever give you the 'where babies come from' talk and name all the parts? +.No. Do the baby-making parts have names? +Yes. Sit back some. My 'thing' is called a penis. +.When you 'think' a word to me, I can hear it and see the spelling! +Molly can, so I though you might be able to. Turn around and lie back on me. Spread your legs and use this mirror to look at how you're made. +.I never did this before. I see why Molly says you're a good teacher. You make learning fun! +You hold the mirror so you can see. I'll spread your lips and point out the parts. The little tube is your urethra, which is where you pee. Below that is the entrance to your vagina. If you scoot your middle up some, you can see your hymen, which is a little piece of tissue that grows across part of the opening of your vagina. +.Daddy said something about a hymen when I put my finger in the first time and it hurt and bled a little. But it didn't hurt the next time I put my finger in. +Once you tear the hymen, it's out of the way and usually won't hurt or bleed again. It's late and you still need to be washed. Stand up and I'll wash you. +.With your hands? +Yes, and I think I know the 'good' places. Before you ask, they get done last - after all the dirty places like your hair and your face and your feet. +.Molly was right. You do know what we're thinking! +Sometimes I just need to see the look on your face. +.She said something about that too. +Gentle around your nipples? +.But hard on my butt! +I'll get to your butt after I do your stomach and your back. +.You're not any fun. +No, I'm a parent, trying to get a tired little girl finished with her bath so she can go to bed and get some snuggle time. +.I love snuggle time! +Then let me finish washing you. Now stand up and I'll use the hand shower to rinse the soap off both of us. +.Dry me off? And hurry so we can go to bed! +Hurry on your nipples? +.No, that feels good! +Hurry on your butt? +.No, that feels good too! +But you said hurry... +Just carry me to bed, Poppy. I had this same conversation with her dark-haired twin not so long ago. I may be having more 'deja vu' moments. "What's 'deja vu'?" "That's when you live through an event that you have lived through before." "How can you do that?" "Molly and I had the same conversation about hurrying, but not hurrying on her nipples or butt and she wanted me to carry her to bed." "What did you do?" "The same thing I'm doing tonight. I dropped her on the bed." "Eeek!" "Now do you want some kissy-face or my finger or penis in your butt or maybe more than one?" "Can you get your penis in my butt and squirt the baby stuff in it while we kissy-face?" "Maybe - you're about as tall as Molly and she can just manage to suck my tongue and have the head of my penis in her butt at the same time. And the baby stuff is 'semen'." "What do sailors have to do with babies." Didn't I just answer this question? But that was for the dark-haired twin. "S-e-m-e-n, not s-e-a-m-e-n. They sound the same, but are spelled differently." "Can we have the spelling lesson later? I just want you to kiss me!" +OK, little love monster number 2. +.Why am I number 2? +Because Molly is my first little love monster. +.Suck my tongue! Rub my butt! Put your thing - penis - in me! +Slow down, Sarah. We need to be careful and gentle until I find out what your body is capable of. +.You sound like my Daddy. I'm so glad you let me be part of your family! +I've lubricated my penis and your anus. When I let go of your tongue, you back up slowly and see if I fit inside you. +.Anus? Is that my butthole? You do make learning fun! +Not all learning will be this much fun. But I'll try to make some of it fun. +.Oooh! I feel you against my buttho.. anus! How big are you? +Not too big for Molly, so probably OK for you. I have my hand around my penis so you can only go down part way. Let go of my tongue and move up and down slowly. "Doesn't faster feel better?" "It can, but faster can also make you sore - so that it hurts to sit or walk. We don't want to do anything that hurts." "How many times do I go up and down?" "Maybe 30. You may get the good feeling before then." "Can you really put all of it in me?" "Not yet. I can tell when you reach your limit and I won't let you go farther. You will stretch as you do it more, so I'll let you have more next time or the time after that. Are you keeping count?" "Eleven. Twelve. My front - vagina - is tingly. Do I need to pee?" "No, that's just part of the good feeling." "Nineteen. Twenty. My nipples are tingly. It never felt this good with my Daddy - but I never did this much up and down." "I think you'll like this, Sarah. Keep counting." "Twenty-three. Rub my nipples! Twenty-four. Twenty-five. You're jerking in me! Are you gonna squirt baby stu..." And this little girl goes out just like her 'sister'. I also get squeezed out of this tight little butt - but I expected that. She didn't ask to sleep naked, but I'll curl her into the curve of my body and enjoy every inch of her skin.
