                          Sangrelysia - Preface

                          by Vivian Darkbloom

Synopsis

Sangrelysia is a land somewhere between Shangri-La and the
Elysian fields, where magic still happens and mythical beasts
still abound, but not a place without its troubles -- "issues"
which (fancy that!) might resemble those we humble mortals face
in the world we presently refer to as "reality." Oh, and sex.

Story codes, Warnings, Disclaimers

   Speaking of which. . .

We'll start gently. While this story does contain explicit sex in
the style customary to stories found (for example) in the usenet
group alt.sex.stories.moderated and the website asstr.org (and
hence, expected by such readers), these scenes only occur in a
   few chapters.

The sexual encounters are entirely consensual, though there is an
intergenerational aspect, which is to say sex between an older
man and a ten-year-old girl. Well OK, there's an orgy scene or
two that adds in an older woman and a few more young girls as
well. They're very romantic, though! Knowing this, you may make
an informed choice whether or not to read it based on your
   feelings about such events.

I was hoping to put in more sex scenes, but I kept getting these
stupid ideas for plot. Sorry 'bout that.

One could even contend that, on account of sparseness of
erogenous scenery, this is not actually a "sex story." However,
the nature of the sex that does occur would seem to render it
unpublishable (at the present time) anywhere other than on a site
   dedicated to free erotica.

Even more shockingly offensive, may be the political content.

What's worse, the grammatic structures will certainly cause
distress in those inclined to get fussy. Hideous metaphors clash
and collide in seemingly interminable run-on sentences.
Punctuation drops in at random, often eluding the reader at the
most critical moments. These literary constructs are not for the
   faint of heart.

Not wanting to risk any more `cartoon violence,' we can just
   leave it at that.

                                                           Chapter 1
