recommended me for the new film he was about to make, as I was a very

public. The other lab assistants would catch up as I got it back into the

   I asked if Mai was going to be in it and she said that she had been in
several of his movies and was happy to do this one with me if I wanted

little dubious here as I'd been led to believe I'd be working with
artificial creatures, not weird creations.

   It was completely hairless, it's head was shaped like a dog, but it's
tongue was about 30 cm long and constantly ficked in and out of it's mouth
like a lizard.  It had 3 eyes protruding on stalks about 10cm long, and I
must admit they un-nerved me a bit as they seemed to home in on me and
followed my every move.  He said, laughing, that I shouldn't have any
trouble catching it as it seemed to like me.  It was the best special
effect that I'd ever seen without a doubt, but I had an uneasy feeling that
he wasn't telling me everything.

   Having read the script thoroughly, I knew that it was supposed to have

and when I tried to get it back into the enclosure it would try to mate

the others caught up, having got separated in the pursuit.  Asking him why
