An Introduction to Stormbringer’s Stories Greetings readers, I'm writing this message to introduce you to my porn stories and myself. As I write this I am closing in on my tenth year as a porn writer. I never thought I would have continued this long and I have entered semi-retirement from time to time. Over the ten years, fans have written their own stories based on my work and several artists have created artistic interpretations of my stories and ideas. As of the end of 2008, I have written 107 stories with 187 parts. All my stories are here at asstr. For a complete listing of my stories, read the story list folder. I've always been a reader. I was exclusively fantasy/ science fiction as a teen and young man. I would cite Star Wars and Dungeon's and Dragon's as the causes of my earlier preferences. Some of my stories have minor sci-fi elements, such as drugs that increase penis or breast size, but those themes are secondary to the sex plot. Later, I gravitated towards reading historical fiction. I do have eclectic tastes and I also read history, biography, and thrillers among others. As for sex stories, I look for stories along the lines of those I write, namely big cocks and cheating wives. Why big cocks and cheating wives? My primary fetish with erotic stories is the theme of betrayal. I like the thought of a reluctant wife betraying her husband for better sex and some of my stories have many layers of betrayal. I don't care for slut wives, swinging, or the standard: "I always wanted to see my wife with another man", themes. I like my women pure, faithful, and reluctant up until the day the hung stud takes them. The prevalence of swinging slut wife stories is what got me writing in the first place. The story world needed more cheating and less slut stories. As for big cocks, I prefer to call them alpha male stories. The larger penis is a physical representation of superiority. Would a wife cheat on her husband with a penis half his size? Of course, in the real world, women aren't designed for a foot long penis, but then this isn't the real world. As I started writing, I gravitated towards interracial themes, partly because I like interracial stories and partly because a website gave me a membership in exchange for IR stories. Now my work is predominately interracial. You will find other themes among my work. Story Revisions: In 2008, I determined to go through my work and revise my stories. I did this primarily because all my old stories were written as emails using a webtv unit. Since going computerized, I can now use a spell checker and correct mistakes. I'm still not perfect, nor was punctuation my best subject and mistakes still occur, but then I'm not trying to win a Pulitzer either. I'm also adding author's notes to explain where ideas and inspiration came from. My revisions are also eliminating the multiple chapters and condensing them into longer singular stories. Every story I write occurs in a universe free of sexually transmitted diseases. I also think of my stories as occurring in a slightly more conservative world then ours. The E&I Enterprises Universe- My magnum opus. This is an IR series revolving around a group of "enhanced" black men setting up a porn empire by seducing white wives and daughters. The stories are all in their own folder along with a more involved description and a timeline. My revised stories are now numbered in order that they occur in the timeline. Not a true universe and most of my mind control stories aren't connected, but they are set on the same world. The Last Elf Universe- A sexually charged fantasy universe themed along the lines of the LOTR and D&D. Human men are weak, but their women are beautiful and lusted after by demi-humans and humanoids who all have special sexual gifts. The Tales Of The Loa Universe- This is a world in which Avatar's of the gods walk unknowingly among mankind. The Loa are African Voodoo gods. This idea came to me after reading Neil Gaiman's "American Gods". So far the stories revolve around an African trickster god named Legba. The Pulp Fiction Universe- A series based on pulp novels. I've only done one story, "The Nosy Housewife and the Last Of The Mad Nazi Scientists." Someday, I'd like to write more. This story was written for a site collecting damsel in distress stories. The Shame the Gunslinger Universe- Collecting my historical Westerns about a black gunslinger, Shame. The Shame stories are based on famous Western movies, such as Shane and High Noon. The Wright family Universe- This is a proposed series revolving around a black preacher, his senile father, and two sons. The preacher will be based on the Rev. Wright who came to fame during the 2008 presidential race. I am planning on making this slightly harder core and include non-consensual elements, a subject I usually avoid. Any “rape” stories I do will not include violence and the female victim will enjoy the sex. Given my time constraints, it might not happen. Tell us about you: Question: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let’s call it a short bio. Stormbringer: I'm in my late thirties, married, with a new baby. I was formerly in retail, but now work for the US government. I'm a heavy reader, mostly of historical fiction, but also fantasy or military biographies. I live on the East Coast in a beach town similar to the one described in my story "Me and Mrs Jones." I keep my real name anonymous since it's too easy to google people these days. The baby and a new job change are the reasons my story output has declined. Question: What are you wearing right now? Stormbringer: Jeans and a T-shirt Question: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does she think? Stormbringer: No. Nobody who knows me is aware that I write sex stories on the internet. Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life? Stormbringer: Not at all. I write when I have a free hour or two. I do occasionally brainstorm ideas while at work or on vacation. Question: How did you come up with your ES nickname? Stormbringer: It's somewhat of the ol' male phallic nickname. I jokingly called my penis Excalibur. You know, King Arthur's sword of power, able to pierce any armor. There were too many Excalibur’s already taken when I was picking an email address so I went with the name of another sword from a fantasy series, "Elric of Melnibone by Michael Moorcock." Question: What brought you to EroticStories.com? What made you want to stay and become a part of it? Stormbringer: I discovered eroticstories early on when it was 100% free in either a random search or a link. It seemed a nice, well put together site so I chose it as the first place I post. I do occasionally post at other sites and I use asstr.org as a repository for everything I've written. Question: Boxers v Briefs? / Panties v Thong? Stormbringer: Boxers. My underwear somewhat reflects my humorous personality. I usually wear funny boxers such as smiley faces, hearts, Homer Simspon, The Grinch, as well as Superman. Something about a normal guy walking around with something funny under his clothes makes me grin. Writing Habits: Question: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories? Stormbringer: Fan feedback. I love it when a fan emails me to say how turned on one of my stories made them. I've had nearly a half dozen fans now write stories around my characters and universes. Recently a fan, Nicole Mounds founded a Yahoo group dedicated to my E&I series and another fan Darklord has been illustrating my stories there. It's all very flattering. Question: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story? Stormbringer: I find it hard to believe, but going on seven years now. I'm currently at 177 stories (I count chapters as stories, so a four part story counts as four). It's amazing to me because I only planned on writing a few stories to see how they were received. I got started writing by basically reading lots of sex stories. My tastes changed over time and I gravitated towards the cheating wife story. I don't like the "swinger" story where the husband wants to watch his wife with another man. Betrayal is my main turn on and the story has to be about a wife who actually winds up cheating. I got sick of reading so many of these wife watcher type stories that I decided to try my hand at writing the type of story I like to read. The wife has to start out faithful and reluctant, but is overwhelmed by some studs masculinity. Since I like betrayal, the stud is usually the husband's brother, boss, a black gardener, thief, blackmailer, etc. Question: What categories are most of your stories in? What kind would you never write? Stormbringer: I like the cheating wife, interracial, and mind control categories. I've written many combinations of the three. I've also tried my hand at fantasy, "The Last Elf", horror, "The Lurkers in the Hall", parodies or westerns, "Shame", as well as some other genres. The only kind of stories I'd never write are pedophilia, snuff, scat, or bestiality. I wont read them either. Question: Which of your stories is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you? Stormbringer: It's hard to narrow down one story. "Naughty Pictures" is a personal favorite. It has two of my favorite themes, bikinis and blackmail. "Lessons From the Neighbor" is another. Each chapter has the housewife learning something new from her hung neighbor. Ultimately, I guess I would go with, "The Unwanted Houseguest". I wrote it at a time when I planned on retiring. My goal was to create an ultimate cheating wife story. It features every theme in "cheating" stories, poker bets, blackmail, voyeurism, threesomes, etc. Many readers didn't care for the ending though. Question: Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate? What story was it? Stormbringer: Never while writing. I often masturbate to a story once it's finished. I did it a lot more often in the early days, then I do now. Question: Do you write from fantasy or true stories or a combination of both? Please explain or give an example. Stormbringer: Almost everything is pure fantasy. I did write "Confessions of a Teenage Pussy Eater" after a particularly good bout of oral sex with my wife. "Confessions" wasn't my normal fare, but at one point was my highest rated, most read story. Question: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both? Stormbringer: : I'll say a combination of both. Several women characters are based on hot girls that I know. Some are based on descriptions fans send me. The characters of Wille and Xavier in the E&I series are based on black men who wrote to me wanting to be stud characters. The couple in "Hammered On Vacation" in another example as well as some others. Question: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters? Stormbringer: Absolutely nothing. I'm neither a super stud or a wimp husband. I'm not a cheating wife either. Question: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why? Stormbringer: God-like sexual stamina. 'Nuff said. Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go? Stormbringer: : In the early days, I'd stay up late and complete a story in a single night. Now that I have less time, it takes a lot longer. I do a story now every three weeks or so. The process is pretty standard. I sketch out an idea, then I write an outline, then I fill out the details. Once completed, I read through the story and do a quick editing. Then I start posting. Question: How do you come up with your story titles? Stormbringer: They just seem to come to me. There are very few titles that I'm not happy with. I like teaser titles, such as "The Bikini Conspiracy". How can you resist a title like that? Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story? Stormbringer: For now it's finding the time. Sometimes it's hard mustering the will to sit and write, especially if you've lost interest in a story. Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene? Stormbringer: Very little. I did read up on Blackbeard for "Blackbeard's Captive", I also sat and watched the Westerns, Shane and High Noon before writing "Shame" and "Hung Coon." Question: Do you have any secret stories you don’t want to publish for the public? Do you publish your stories on other sites besides EroticStories.com and if so, why? Have you ever been published on paper? Stormbringer: Nothing secret. There are two stories that don't meet eroticstories' posting rules, namely an incest story and a rape story. I post at other sites namely to get more story exposure. I've never been published, but I've considered trying. I've jotted down some ideas for non-erotic stories. I don't know if it will ever happen. Question: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing? Stormbringer: Few negative comments are constructive and even fewer have return emails. Those that do, I always respond too. Most negative comments go something like this: "And the (N-word) gave the slut aids and she died." Those kinds of comments you just delete. My story "Doctor Bitch" generated the most hate mail. I believe the reason was because it was the first story I implied that all black men were hung better then whites. Up until then my stud characters were just individuals, black or white. It was also one of my most popular stories. Reading Habits: Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies? Stormbringer: I read stories along the lines of those I write. I'll check out most anything labeled, cheating, interracial, or mind control. If the tagline is good, I may read other stories. Question: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do? Stormbringer: Not often. I rarely vote on a poor story. A really good story I'll give a vote of 7-9 usually, rarely a 10. Often I vote high just to encourage the author. I'll often send a short email to tell the author that I was impressed, enjoyed their story, and can't wait to see more. Question: Do you have a favorite author on ES? What makes them your favorite? Stormbringer: There's not that many favorites at eroticstories. I like Catesby and Cadetman. There are plenty of stories I like, but unfortunately the authors aren't prolific with only one or two stories Sex Habits: Question: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, do you have any favorites? Stormbringer: Yes, but not as much as the mental stimulation you get from reading. I'll watch short movies via the net, but not often. I do look at lots of pictures. My favorite is comic style illustrations. I'd like to see my stories turned into graphic style novels. With comic art you can give characters those perfectly proportioned bodies I like to write about. Question: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw? Tell us about it? Stormbringer: : Honestly I don't. As a teen, friends and I came across porno mags stashed in the woods. I once found my grandfather's stash. It was made up of some pretty hardcore stuff. That was about 1982. Then as I entered my mid-teens, a cool mother let us rent porno movies. Not much to tell. Question: Have you ever participated in erotic photography? If so, please tell us about it. If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer? Stormbringer: The photographer. It's a great feeling to post a story and see that several thousand people have read it in a few days. Some stories even hit 10,000 reads. Since many sites don't post statistics, I think it's safe to assume, 20000+ people may read certain stories. Those numbers rival many published books.
