The Funeral

Patrick walked towards the church entrance, checking if his tie felt right. After entering he took a bulletin, and signed the guest book. Patrick waited in the line leading to the coffin; he caught glimpses of Thomas Anderson, lying in the coffin in his bright blue suit and tie. A blue silk handkerchiefs is being placed in to his breast pocket by a young lady, Dixie, dressed in all blue. Inside the top of the cover, a knitted picture of his first plane flying and another of him standing in front of his plane with his leather jacket, and scarf blowing in the wind.

Patrick takes a step forward towards the coffin. Naomi, Thomas's widow, walks towards him, giving him a hug, leaning her head against his chest, listening to his heart race. Patrick loved Thomas, his wife Naomi, and their children TJ, Maryann and Joseph (JR). So much of his life has involved the Anderson family. Patrick felt a bit of guilt as his pleasure from Naomi's hug grew.

At 14, Patrick had the honor of being a groomsman at the wedding of Thomas and Naomi; her hug now had the same effect as then. He had known Thomas, since he was 12 when he took riding lessons at the ranch owned by Thomas's Grandfather.

As Naomi continued to embarrass him she asked “How are the animals?”. Naomi had asked Patrick to take care of the ranch during the last two weeks while the family made the arrangements for the funeral. At the ranch, Cattle, horses, a few pigs, sheep, along with some Cats and Dogs.

“They are doing fine.” Patrick rubbed his hand up and down Naomi's back. Over the last thirty two years he has watched Naomi. He loved watching her ass, and he wanted to grab her ass, but not here, not this way.

The hug seemed to go on forever; they released each other, when TJ came to greet Patrick. Patrick could see so much of his father in him, from his brown eyes to his dark hair containing the same style. Though they weighed nearly the same, TJ's extra height made him seem almost skinny. The suit hid his well built body, but the firm grip of his handshake spoke of his strength.

“I am going need you to stay at the ranch a bit longer.” TJ was taking over for his father in his company. His father would work on the ranch in the morning and go to his office by 10 am working till late in the evening. Patrick has helped in the past, in exchange for keeping his horse at the ranch. Thomas was constantly working, it’s surprising he ever had time for fun, but he some still found the time to play.

“Sure whatever you need.” Patrick would enjoy spending time with Naomi, and Maryann. He glanced towards Thomas’s daughter. She did not need to wear the high heel shoes, as she had plenty leg and needed to bend down to hug the people she greeted.

Naomi stood next to Patrick as he stood before the oak coffin. He could not speak his apology to Thomas for the thoughts he was having about Maryann. He looked a bit to the right watching Maryann. Maryann’s heals just seemed to push her butt up letting it be easily seen. Patrick wanted to give Maryann comfort, but was worried his pleasure would rise again as Maryann breasts would press against his chest. He would be tempted to grab her tight ass, and smell her long blonde hair. He just stood quietly before Thomas, as Naomi grabbed his hand.

“I should take a seat.” Patrick told Naomi. Hoping to hide the growth in his pants.

“No you are part of the Family, you will sit with us. He thought of you like his brother. TJ, Maryann and Joseph consider you a brother, and they need their big brother now.”

The tears flowed down Patrick’s face, he used one of the six handkerchiefs he had brought wiping his face. He shook his head. “OK”. He walked over to Maryann, quickly shaking her hand, then shook JR or Joseph as the soon to be 15 year old boy wants to be called now. Patrick wanted to reached out and grab Maryann. Wrap his arms around her, his body rubbing against hers. To kiss her lipstick red lips. Rip her black dress off of her, kneel in front of her constantly shaved pussy, and lick her and play with her clit until she could feel pleasure. Pleasure she has denied her self the last two weeks. He wanted her to feel joy again.

Patrick headed to the family room in the back.

He took a drink of water, sat down, and reviewed the order of service. Only a few people were in the room, he crossed his legs to hide the bulge in his pants.

Thomas’s mother walked over to Patrick, he stood up, giving her a hug. She brought up the time he did not close the gate, letting most of the 50 heads of cattle out, but did not get too far. He was embarrassed by the memory, but remembered he had been anxious to join Thomas, Naomi, and Thomas’s mother, Sara, in the new hot tub. Thinking of his crush on Naomi, Sara, as well as Naomi’s mom Nancy, caused his bulge to grow.

The family gathered together for a brief moment receiving some final instructions before the service.

Afterward they walked to the casket getting one more look at Thomas before the door was closed. Naomi, Sara (Thomas’s mother) and Maryann, started to cry as the oak coffin was closed. Maryann’s husband (Peter) comforter her. Joseph held his big sisters hand. TJ grabbed his wife, Dinah, hand. Patrick wrapped his arms around Naomi and Sara.

Patrick walked in to the Sanctuary with Sara and Naomi on each side of him. Patrick scanned the large number of people who came to see Thomas Anderson for the last time.

The Governor was present, as well as the mayor of the city.

He saw Ashley and Barbara, the 'twins', who were stewardesses for the airline but Thomas knew them years before they started working for him. Patrick had a few fond memories of the 'twins'.

Sarah sat in her black skirt and blouse. She had a crush on Patrick, until she learned his age. Patrick was unhappy she thought of him as too old for her. He loved her short naturally curly hair. He enjoyed talking with her as she would come to the ranch to ride. Patrick even started to drink coffee, in order to talk with her at the local book store. In time she was convinced he may not be too old. Thomas helped to bring them together. Patrick was grateful for the time he had with Sarah before she moved for college.

Dr. Jeffery Adams and his wife Stephanie, Naomi was working in his Dentist office when she was introduced to Thomas. Patrick hand not yet learned about their story. Thomas and Naomi were always very affectionate with them, but Patrick had only speculated about their relationship, he might have to try to ask about it. Dr. Adams was planing to retire, and Patrick would like to know more about their story.

Various members of the Thomas and Naomi's monthly 'game' club. For years that's what they told the kids. When they were older, they did get invited. Patrick remembered back to his first time at 'game' night.

Dixie sat in her blue dress, her legs in blue colored nylons, She wore a blue hat with a blue veil. Thomas loved blue, and everything blue. From the sky, to movies. She worked as Thomas's office since being in high school. Naomi recommended her after seeing her at a local restaurant, and how well she worked. Naomi like her, and got Thomas to find a spot for her, after she finished college, he had her working closely with him in the office. She learned to fly and went with the family as co-pilot on many of the Families trips.

Damian, went to the same Church, he worked at cleaning the church, and worked as the Janitor for the Church private school to raise money to go to college. He was attending the university learning architecture. He enjoyed helping design the High School. Damian regularly attended the Anderson's game night. Making arrangements for the group to use the church sanctuary for a party.

Alex was a foster child of the Anderson's and Joseph's best friend. They helped him deal with the abuse he had experienced. He reunited him with his mother who had left because of the abuse, but was arrested and even jailed for trying to take the children from the home. He caused trouble, trying to get others to know and accept the truth. He felt so much pain and hurt, he wanted to lash out, and Naomi, gave him a way to express his angry. He had a safe, and sane way to express himself.

Patrick smiled as he passed the pew with the preacher's wife and daughters. Thomas had made some money working with real estate, donating most of the money needed to buy the parsonage. When Patrick was 19, Susan was 22, the pastor was 26. He thought she was the preacher's daughter until remembered they were only married a few months. The previous preacher were old enough for grandchildren. Jeff and Susan were the first preacher closed to Patrick's age. Patrick was very close to Susan, they had left for a bit so Susan could get her masters and Jeff helped with building a new church. But after a few years they returned. During the time away Susan missed Patrick. She started writing him. And they stayed in touch with each other, and when an opportunity arrived for the Pastor Jeff and Susan to return they took it. Patrick and Susan continued being close. Thomas helped them find time to be alone together.

Sandy, sat alone, she was to play a solo on her clarinet. Thomas loved hearing her playing, and had her and some friends play for their anniversary party. Her red hair stood from her black slacks and blouse.

The church was filled with people, Thomas was loved by many people. All had good memories of him. Patrick looked forward to hearing the memories.

When he sat down, he tried to keep his erect penis tucked between his folded legs, and was embarrassed when Naomi helped him tuck it in. He looked at her, turning red when she looked into his eyes giving him a large smile. He looked ahead, but tried to look out of the corner of his eye toward Sara, Thomas's mother, but She gave no indication that she noticed.

They were able to stay seated in time for him to get back to normal. They stood as they sung ‘Precious Memories’ but sat down as many people shared memories. TJ led the way, then Maryann, then Patrick, followed by many people. We stood for pray, and the singing of ‘Abide with me’ and a modern song ‘Come to Jesus’ The family requested the coffin be left in the sanctuary after the service.
