Summary: Two kids have fun in a makeshift tent.

Among other things, Hurricane Sandy left a blackout in its
wake. 7-year-old Heather saw that effect as soon as she left her
apartment. It was a good thing her father stocked up on
flashlights and compatible batteries. The hallway was dark, save
for a few areas with a window to the cloudy outside.

Heather put her free hand in her pocket as she skipped
downstairs. Even in her green sweater and matching earflap hat,
the lack of heat in the hallway was too much for her. She found
the door she was looking for and knocked.

 "Who is it?"

 "It's Heather!"

The apartment door swung open. A small spotlight beamed on her,
which was hard to adjust to in the dim hallway. An aging man with
a gray beard stood in the doorway. He lowered his flashlight.
"Hey, Heather," he smiled.

"Hi, Mr. Stewart. Can Bret come over?"

"Yeah. I'll send him over in a minute."

"Thanks." Heather made her way back to her apartment.

Moments later, there was a knock on the door. Before Heather
could leave her sunlit bedroom, she heard the apartment door
open, followed by her father greeting someone. She watched her
own doorway until a blond boy entered with his flashlight powered
off.

The equally blond-haired girl stood and brushed her lips along
his cheek.

"Did everything stop working here, too?" asked Brett as he sat
on the bed.

 "Yep." She sat beside him.

"Wow. Sucks how we won't be able to go trick-or-treating."

"I know. Daddy said they might put Halloween on a new day, like
last year. But at least school is gonna be out for a few more
days."

 "Let's make a tent."

 "Good idea."

Heather left her room and returned pushing a wooden dining room
chair in front of her. She went back and did the same with
another one. Both 7-year-olds positioned the chairs a few feet
apart, facing opposite sides. Then they laid a yellow comforter
on top. Next, they widened the "walls" by setting objects such as
a toy crate and a fan on the edges.

It took trial and error, silliness and frustration, but the
kids built a decent tent. Because the chairs were so tall
compared to their sitting heights, the interior was spacious. At
the same time, the cool air was sealed off.

The kids pretended they were camping. They made shadow puppets,
played "catch the light," and told ghost stories with their own
flashlights shining in their faces. The tent generated so much
heat that they removed their sweaters and sat across from one
another in their T-shirts.

"Was that story too scary for you?" Bret asked.

"No," replied Heather. "I was the one who told it, dummy."

 "Yes, you was scared."

 "No, I wasn't."

 "Ye..."

The bedroom door suddenly opened, causing both kids to flinch.
They lifted one side of the comforter and saw someone standing
near the door, wearing a coat and a hood over their head.

Bret was just about to scream when the figure spoke:

"Kids, I'm going to the store. I want to find a heater that
doesn't need to be plugged in."

Even at age seven, Heather thought that sounded weird. She
wanted to inquire about battery-powered heaters, but instead
asked, "There's stores opened today?"

 "A few."

"Can I have some Kix while you're gone?"

 "Sure."

"And chocolate donuts for me," Bret chimed.

Heather's father gave the boy a dirty look. One that Bret just
laughed off.

"I'll be back. Lock the chain behind me."

Heather followed her father and stood on her mini bench to do
what he said. Then rushed to her room and into the makeshift
tent. This time, she sat beside her friend. So close that their
sides were touching. They both leaned into the chair behind them.

"It's mad cold out there," she said, rubbing her arms. "I'm
glad we thought of this."

"Maybe we should have told your daddy to come in."

"A grownup in our tent? Eww!"

Bret moved closer and nuzzled his cheek to hers. He put his arm
around her and stroked two fingers along her arm.

Heather responded by pushing her cheek into his. Her hand went
to his lap. She was delighted to feel his member growing in her
hand. She spent a while just feeling on it while snuggling into
Bret.

The girl then got on her knees. Bret was about to do the same,
but she stopped him. With a hand on his shoulder, the girl sat on
Bret's lap. Holding onto the lowest horizontal bar of the chair,
above his shoulders, Heather ground her bottom on his crotch.

Bret hugged the petite girl tightly, pressing his face into her
chest. The crown of his head was topped by her chin. He moved
along with her as much as he could. His cock was pointing up at
her crotch, stirring about with her every move.

"Take it out," Heather said in Bret's ear. She got off him and
watched as her friend sat on his knees and unzipped his jeans.

Not bothering to take them off, he pulled his underwear down so
his cock was pointing out of his fly. While he did that, Heather
pulled her pants and panties down to her ankles. Gently, he
pushed her down and got on top. He rubbed his stiff dick against
her opening and pushed it in.

Elbows on the floor, Heather moved her hips as Bret worked his
dick in and out of her. She looked up at him as his motions sent
him sliding up and down. Her hands went to his chest and slid to
his shoulders. Then they met behind his back. The kids' blue eyes
met and he couldn't help but return her smile.

Heather pulled Bret downwards. The boy offered no resistance.
His lower body bounced between her spread legs. He could now hear
her humming and moaning in his ear. He was certain that he was
doing the same. Their hearts thumped against each other.

With a gasp, Bret suddenly stiffened. Heather's fingernails
made their way down his back. Bret twitched over and over.
Heather simply rubbed Bret's back up and down until he stopped
shaking.

Bret collapsed on top of Heather and pressed his cheek to hers.
Even in the cold bedroom, their actions mixed with the insulated
tent bathed them both in sweat.

Heather was in the tent, using her Cars coloring book,
when her father returned. She put her sweater on and lifted the
comforter.

"I couldn't find the right heater. Almost everybody in town is
closed, anyway. Your cereal is in the kitchen."

 "Bret went home."

"I see. I hope you kept yourselves warm."

 "We did," Heather blushed knowingly.
