   Ted what is this sir stuff?  You have always called me John and my wife
Kate.  I answered, yes but that was before I started dating your daughter.
Well go back to John and Kate.  We like it better.  Thank you I said.  Now
I should call dad to come and get me.  Ted said no we are going to you
house for supper tonight so we will take you.

   Dad what should I wear Susie said.  Do not ask me, ask Ted.  I jokingly
said your birthday suit, her mom laughed and said I think she should wear a
little more than that.  What you have on is fine with me, I said.  Little
brother David said what about me?  And John said do you think we would
leave you here by yourself?  Well you could leave Ted here with me.  I
don't think so said Kate, you can come also.

   At home, mom had fixed a nice meal for us.  With three extra people
there, the kitchen table was overcrowded, so Susie and I went out on the
back porch to eat, and Emma joined us.  Emma ask Susie, why are you hanging
around with my looser of a brother?  Susie said you are mistaken, Ted is
one of the nicest people I know, and half of the girls in our class would
love to date him.  I am just lucky to know him outside of school so I got
to him first.

   Emma just shook her head and said he can't even dance right.  Susie said
you need to talk to the 10 girls he danced with last night.  All of their
boyfriends were getting jealous because they we being left out a lot of the
time.  She leaned over and said something in Emma's ear.  Emma turned red
in the face, shook her head and said I don't believe it.  It's true said
Susie, ask him if you don't believe me.

   What are you two talking about I ask.  You answered Susie, and don't ask
any more questions about it today.  Secrets I said, Susie you know what
happens to little girls that keep secrets from me.  Emma got up and said I
am going in to get desert, do you two want anything?  Susie said just some
lemonade.  I said some lemonade, and a piece of moms chocolate cake.

   After Emma was inside I ask Susie what she had said to her.  Susie told
me that she had told Emma that I had fucked her better than anyone else had
ever done, and that that was more important than being a perfect dancer. 
That's why she got red in the face.  I do not think that she believed me,

   Emma came back with the lemonade and cake, and said I am going to my

both of my brothers were gone also.  Dad came out and said that we were
adjourning to the basement, which usually meant dancing.  Susie ask about
David, and dad said that he was sleeping, and would be all right where he
was.

   Once the six of us were in the basement, dad locked the basement door,
which was very unusual.  I ask why, and he said that we have somethings to
discuss and we do not want to be interrupted.  I said then maybe Susie and
I should leave.  He said no this is for your benefit, and in some ways
about the two of you.  Dad, I said, you are not being to clear.  He
answered you will know in a short while, just be a little patient.  Get the
folding chairs out so we can sit while we talk.

   Once everyone was seated, Dad stood up and said, the four of us wanted
this meeting with the two of you, and you are going to hear some things
that might shock you.  Please hold any questions until I have finished what
I am going to say, unless I ask for an answer, is this ok with the two of
you, indicating both Susie and me.

   I said sure dad, I am alright with it, and Susie said fine with me also.

   You two have know each other for 5 or 6 years, and except for when we
took you two with us to dances, you never dated each other, even though you
got along very well.  When ever Ted would talk about you, Susie, his voice
would reflect admiration for you even though his words never did.  Susie
your folks said the same about you talking about Ted.

   We started wondering if there was something wrong with one or the other
of you.  In talking with your teachers, Ted, we discovered that around all
the girls you went to school with, you were very shy to the point of
ignoring them, unless you had to work on problems with them.  At that point
you would never look directly at them and would usually be red in the face
whenever you talked to them.  Even your female teachers said you had
trouble talking with them also.  You were better with the boys, but even
then, you appeared shy.  However with our friends, you could converse with
them almost as equals, with both male and females.

   Your mother and I also ask if they had any idea as to why you never
dated, and were told that your extreme shyness was probably the answer.

   Susie, your parents could see that with your boyfriend, you appeared to
be heading for disaster, and they were worried about it.

   For the past couple of months we have been trying find some way to
change the direction that the two of you seem to be headed.  We finally
came up with a plan.  Very quietly, so that you would not realize what was
happening, John and Kate, started hinting about Ted's birthday, and gently
suggested that you, Susie, should give him a party.  It was also planned
and given to you in very subtle hints as to how it was to be done.

   To our great delight, the plan worked perfectly.  This can be seen by
the fact that the two of you are now dating, and appear to be very much in
love, on this we all congratulate you.

   Now to the matter at hand.  Ted, if you remember when your mother and I
started taking dancing lessons a few years ago, we engineered it so that
you and Emma also took lessons.  You and maybe some day Emma, were getting
ready for the discussion we will have tonight.

   Dad paused for a minute, and Susie started to say something.  I gently
touched her arm and shook my head no, and she shut up.  John saw what
happened and got a shocked look on his face and whispered something to
Kate.

   Dad then continued.  A few months after we started going out dancing,
one evening there were three couples that night, the ladies were either
dancing with other men or in the ladies room, and we men were talking.  As
you might expect some comments were made about the ladies and I said half
jokingly that I thought Kate must be pretty good in bed.  John and the
other guy then spoke up and said that your mom turned them on.  About that
time the ladies came back and the discussion was stopped.

   After we got home that night I was telling your mother about the
conversation, and she answered that some of her magazines had just ran some
articles on "recreational sex", and it sounded like a lot of fun.  In the
next couple of days I read the articles she indicated, and it did sound
like it might be interesting.

   I made two copies of the articles and sent them to both guys, marked
personal, with a letter saying that in light of the comments made last
Saturday evening, that maybe we should look into this possibility, and
maybe we should meet and discuss it among we three.  A couple of days went
by and I received a call from John and XX (you may learn this name later,
or not).  We met at a bar and got a secluded booth so we could talk in
private.

   I started the discussion, by reiterating what had been said at the last
dance.  I said that I had said it jokingly, but it might be nice to try if
we were to all agree.  XX said, all well and good but what about the women?
They would have to agree also.  John said I agreed with that.  I answered
that if we all agree that we would like to try this, then it would be up to
each of us to talk to our respective wives and see what they would say.  I
also told them that I had talked to your mom and she had given me the
articles that I had sent to them.  While she did not say she was for it,
she said she found it very interesting.

   I suggested that the two of them show the articles to their wives and
get their reaction, I also suggested that the wives should get together
with out us, and discuss it, if there some interest in it.  Our meeting
lasted about an hour, as we discussed the pro and con of this idea.  The
meeting broke up with the understanding that it would be put forth to the
ladies, and if they did not quell the idea, then we would set up a meeting
for just them to discuss it among themselves.

   I then went home and discussed this with you mother.  Your mom told me
that if the other ladies would be in favor of the idea, she would hold a
meeting during the day while "the kids are in school".

   That meeting took place the next week, with all three agreeing to meet
with all of the men and discuss it as a group, mainly to get an idea of
just what they should expect, and to share any ideas for or against going
ahead with some sort of a plan.

   John and Kate hosted that meeting on a night that you, Susie, were at a
sleepover at one of your friends house.  Everyone agreed in principal that
it would be interesting to try, at least for a while, but someone would
have to be in charge, to set everything up.  Somehow I was elected to do
that.  We put together a few rules which everyone could agree with, with
the idea that a few more formal rules would be written up, and each member
would have to sign and date a copy.

   We have been meeting once a month ever sense.  At one time we had 6
couples.  Now we are down to 4.  If the two of you join, we will be back to
5 and we have the possibility of another couple in a few weeks time. 
However the two other couples also have to vote on your acceptance.  So
even if you say yes, you might not be accepted, as a tie will allow you to
try again in 3 months.

   I spoke up and said, Dad, I know that you mean well, but I will not even
consider this invitation, unless we see the written rules first.  That way,
we will know exactly what is expected, and what is not acceptable.

   Very good said John.  I just happen to have a set of rules here with me.
You two take it and go in the other room and discuss them.  Once you have
reviewed them and agree, disagree, or want something clarified, come back
in here, and we will talk further.

   These were the rules as written:

   1.  NO CONDOMS are allowed 2.  At our meetings, your partner is off
limits to you.  3.  Any sex act that both people agree on is permissible.
4. MMF and FFM are permissible if all agree.  5.  Only Voted in members are
allowed to be with the group.  6.  Women are solely responsible for birth
control.  7.  If a women gets pregnant, her spouse is assumed to be the
father.  8.  Activities will not be discussed with anyone who is not a
member of this group.  9.  New rules need 75% approval to be passed.

   After reading the rules we had only one question, and that was why are
condoms forbidden, and in bold lettering?  We also agreed that it would be
fun to be able to fuck adults and be fucked by them.

   When we went back into the other room, posed that question to them.  Mom
spoke up and said, Do you remember a few years back when I was going to the
Dr.  about once a week for several weeks, and you were told that I had
Female problems?  Yes I answered.  Mom then said we had been using condoms
and it was established that the materials that condoms were made from
caused some people to develop a small painful ulcer on either their dick,

   I then said that I could then agree with the rules.  But I want to
clarify a point or two.  If we join and are accepted, you are telling me

   John spoke up and said that is exactly right.  I will have the pleasure

   Susie then spoke up and said, We will be willing and happy to join this
group, when will we know when we are accepted?  Dad answered, when you are
invited to go to a special place with us.

   This meeting is now over.  Ted, you and Susie have to go to school
tomorrow, so I think that if you want to take some clothing and your books
with you, you can return to their house for tonight.  Please use some of
your time to make sure that you will accept our offer.

   When Susie and I were snuggled into bed and the light was turned off, I
ask her, Susie, tell me the truth, did your parents really set up my
birthday party, and what was you thinking about having to do it?

   Susie said, Ted: first I do not want to lie to you and second I don't
need a sore ass for school tomorrow.  If I ever knowing lie to you it will
be because I am playing games with you.

   I was told that you were dejected and depressed.  I was told that this
was a way of helping you get over being reject by one of the girls, who you
had ask out.  True or not I did what I was told to help you.  I have always
considered us to be friends.  I felt sorry for you, because of what I had
been told.  I never thought to ask you if it was true or not.  Mom pretty
much told me how the party was to go.  It was during our first dance that
night that I realized that it was you I wanted and not Kenny.  Sorry for
using his name.  From that time on it has been only you that I want, and I
want you forever.  I hope that answers your question.

   Yes Susie, it does.  Just so that you know, yes I did finally get up the
nerve to ask Mary Atkins out and she just laughed at me and said I do not
date losers.  As for Kenny, I think I am over being mad at him.  When he
comes up in conversation, you can use his name, just don't use it to much.
I still don't like him.  One of the reasons that I never ask you out was
because of him.  Also I thought you did not like me, but tolerated me
because our parents were friends.

   I kissed her good night and held her in my arms.  In the morning, I
awoke with her still snuggled in my arms.  As I kissed her good morning,
she awoke and returned my kiss with much passion.  She told me that she had
dreamed that I and her dad was fucking her at the same time.  I told her
not to get her hopes up, as the rest of the group had to vote on us.  Just
concentrate on getting good grades in school today, as I have heard rumors
that all classes might be given a state test to see how the school stacks
up against all the others.

   Now I have to hurry to get to work.  I will see you at school.

   I was almost late to work, I opened the door just as the first customer
was driving in for a fill up.  I had 3 oil changes to do and then it was
time for me to go to school.  As I arrived at school, Susie and a couple of
her friends greeted me.  One of them ask what did you do to make Kenny so
mad at you?  Susie snickered and I said, I think it is because I have
something that he wants, but will never get back.  Really?  She ask what
could you have possibility taken from him, that would set him off?  Susie
said ME.  And then it was time go get to our classes.

   I waited out front of the school for Susie.  Kenny came by and made some
snide remarks, but left before Susie got there.  She told me that all her
friends were asking why she dumped Kenny for me.  What did you tell them I
ask?  Just that he was to much of a bully and was only trying to empress
people by dating me, and that I was tired of it.  I told them I was going
to go with the only person in school that I could really count on.  I'll
bet that got a lot of laughs, I said.

   No, not laughs, but a lot of envy.  Even though they don't like to admit
it, most of the girls, would love to date you, but they cannot get over
your being so shy.  I told her that Kenny had stopped long enough to make
some snide remarks, but I just ignored him.  By the way, the Prom is coming
up in about a month.  Who are you going with?

   You have to ask?  She said.  Well I have heard that you are going with
Kenny.  I am not going with Kenny, and if you don't take me, I will not go.
You will be going and you will be the most beautiful young lady there. 
Thank you for those kind words, my master.  How did you do on those stupid
tests we had to take today?  I think I scored high enough to keep the
teachers off my back, she said, and how did you do, as if I had to ask?  I
am pretty sure that I did well but not as good as I would have liked to.

   Why worry about it.  It's just an evaluation, it doesn't count toward
you grade, she said.  That's true I replied, but my guidance councilor told
me that I am one of three students that are being considered for a 5 year
apprenticeship at the big Chem Lab here in town, and it appears that the
one of us scores the highest on this test will have the inside track toward
getting the spot.  Oh, Susie said, I had not heard about that.  I just
found out about it this morning myself, I replied.  If I can get this, it
will be like going to collage and being payed to do so.  And I will not
have to go away to get my education.  Super, she replied, I know that you
will get it.

   When we were nearing Susie's house, I noticed that Kenny was hanging
around, it looked like he was waiting on us.  When we neared the porch,
Susie ask Kenny what he was doing here, and he answered, I am waiting to
talk to you Susie.  We have nothing to talk about Kenny, so why don't you
just go home?  I will be here at 6:45 the evening of the Prom and will pick
you up.  Do not bother Susie said, I am not going with you.  If you don't
go with me you will not be going at all, he said.  I am going, but not with
you, so will you please leave.  If you think that you are going with this
idiot, think again, I will make mince meat out of him.  At this point Ted
spoke up and said, Kenny we both know that you can beat me to a pulp, but
if you do, you will loose any respect that Susie has for you and you will
go to the prom by your self.  Kenny drew back like he was going to hit Ted,
but then said I will save it for prom night, then I will smash your face in
if you show up here.  With that, he left.

   I thought he was going to kill you, said Susie.  Kenny is all bluff, Ted
said.  If I hit him with one solid punch to the jaw, he would quit.  Have
you ever heard of anyone who stood up to him being hurt?  Has anyone stood
up to him?  I haven't heard of any.  At the middle school, there was a boy
smaller than I am and when Kenny tried to bully him, he hit Kenny square on
the jaw.  Kenny dropped to the ground crying and tried to tell the teacher
that the kid started it.  When the teacher said that she had seen the whole
thing, and that Kenny had started it.  Kenny got a days suspension, but he
stayed home for a week, before he came back to school.  One reason he hates
me is that I was there and I know what happened.  You are the only person
that I have ever told about that incident.  Do not worry, nothing will
happen.

   The next month was a blur.  Going to work before school, going to
school, meetings with the guidance councilor, and several interviews at the
Chem Lab, kept me very busy and tired.  I saw Susie very little, but called
her every night.

   All three of us trying for the job, were friends, and we all felt that
who ever got the job we would be happy for.  Of course we each wanted it
badly.  I more that the others, because I did not have the financing to be
able to do 4 years in college.  We were finally told that we would know who
got the position, by the time of the prom.  The day of the prom came and we
were on pins and needles waiting to hear who was getting the position. 
After school, we still had not heard, so I went home to get ready for the
prom.

   I had borrowed my older brothers car for the prom, and was about to get
in and leave, when Dad told me to wait a few more minutes.  Dad I have to
leave so we are not late.  Just a couple of minutes, he said.  About that
time a limousine came down the street and stopped in front of the house. 
Dad said, Mom and I decided that we would have enough to rent a limo for
you tonight.  It will go where you want and bring you back when you are
ready.  Thanks dad I yelled as I jumped in.  I gave the driver Susie's
address and said I needed to be there by 6:35 at the latest.  Can do he
said and took off.

   We pulled up at Susie's house at exactly 6:35.  Ten minutes before Kenny
was suppose to be there.  I will be right back I said as I ran to the
house. Is Susie ready, I ask her mom.  Almost she answered.  I want her in
the limo before Kenny gets here I said, and that will be in about 8
minutes. Tell her to please hurry.

   I waited on the porch.  When she came out I gave her her flowers, and
said I will pin them on in the limo, and rushed her to the door.  She had
just gotten in when Kenny arrived in his beat up old truck.  I got into the
limo and said have a good evening Kenny.  Kenny followed us to the prom. 
Our driver dropped us off at the door and we went in.  Kenny had to park
his truck, which took him about ten minutes.  When he arrived at the door,
he was ask where his date was.  Inside he answered.  Who is your date?  He
answered Susie and was told no she is Ted's date.  You know the rules, no
stags at the prom, so you cannot come in.

   Kenny continued to try to get in, so a police officer was called to
remove him.

   Before the band started playing, the Principal called for Ted, Jason and
Elmer to come up to the stage with him.  When we got there he told everyone
that the three of were being considered for the apprenticeship, but that
only one would get it.  They were promised that they would know today.  I
just received the message a few minutes ago.  Let me open it and see which
of our great students will prevail.  He opened the envelope and looked at
it.  Let me read what it says.  "The three of your students that have been
interviewing for the apprenticeship, are all very well qualified.  However
only one can be hired.  One of them stood out just slightly more that the
others, but we cough wind of a social problem that could have altered our
decision.  This why it is this late getting to you.  That student handled
the situation in an outstanding manner, and we are happy to announce that
Ted will get the apprenticeship.  Two weeks after graduation, Ted will
report to our HR department to start work.  Congratulations to all three
applicants, we wish we could hire all three of you.  Good luck to Jason and
Elmer.

   The applause was thunderous.  When it had quieted down, the Principal
had Ted say a few words.  He said thank you for your support and I was
lucky to beat Jason and Elmer.  They are great people.  Thank you.

   Now the band could start playing.

   The first song was a slow dance, and Ted ask Susie to dance.  He held
her tightly to him and told her that later he would have a surprise for
her. Are you keeping secrets from me now?  Do I get to spank your ass for
it?  He laughed and said no you do not, and as the song ended he gave her a
slow sententious kiss.

   Susie wanted to dance to some of the faster tunes, but Ted said I cannot
dance to those, but if someone asks you, you are free to dance with them if
you want.  I will sit here and try to have a conversation with whoever is
still at the table.  Susie said all right, but I expect to have you dance
all the slow dances with me.  I promise I will said Ted.

   Karen, one of Susie's best friends, was setting at the table, her date
had went to the men's room.  She leaned over and told Ted that Susie had
been telling her and their friends about your shyness problem.  We should
have understood, but I guess we were just to dense to figure it out, or we
would have all tried to help you a long time ago, if there is anything I
can do, just let me know.  Susie is so proud of the progress that you have
made.

   Ted said thank you Karen, maybe you can help me with something, but if I
tell you about it you must promise that you will not say anything to Susie
or anyone else, even your date.  I promise, said Karen.

   I want to give Susie something tonight, that will make this day very
special to her, but I don't know just when and how to do it, said Ted. 
Karen said, what do you want to give her?  It's kind of personal, he said.
What ever it is, said Karen, must be very special, but if I know what it
is, I can help you better.

   You promise not to say anything to anyone if I show it to you?  Yes I
promise said Karen.  With that Ted pulled a small box out of his pocket,
and holding down below the table level, he opened it to show Karen an
engagement ring.  Karen looked at it and said Ted she is going to love it.
What I am going to suggest is going to be hard for you, but I know that you
can do it if you really want her to have it tonight.

   You need to go talk to the band leader and tell him that you have a
presentation to make, just before the last song tonight.  Tell him to just
say that you want to say a few words to the people.  Then when he calls you
up, you take Susie with you.  You tell her you need her moral support to do
what you have to do.  Then you can say what is in your heart to her and
give her the ring.  That sounds like a great idea, if I can just have the
courage to do it.  You can do it Ted, and you will do it well, I am sure.

   About that time Susie came back to the table and said Ted the next dance
is a slow one.  Before he answered her, he put the box back in his pocket
so that she would not see it.  Then he said Susie lets dance.  Out on the
floor, Susie said what were you and Karen so engrossed in?  I have never
seen you talk to another girl so intently.  She is just trying to help me
break out of my shell.  Maybe between the two of you I might get better at
talking to ladies.  Susie chuckled and said just as long as you remember I
belong to you and not Karen.  She is a very attractive girl, he said, but
you are right, you do belong to me.

   Whenever they were alone at the table, Karen would talk to Ted and try
to give him pointers on what to say when the time come.  Ted would practice
what to say, but there wasn't to much time to do so for all the coming and
going at the table.

   The evening progressed well.  Everyone was enjoying themselves.  The
band leader took the microphone and said just before this last number,
there is a young man who wants to say something to all of you, Ted will you
come up at this time?

   Ted took Susie's hand and said I need you with me for moral support
please?  Susie got up and said I will always support you when you need it.
They walked to the stage, and up to the mic.  Ted stood there for a few
seconds before he said, You all know that I am not much at talking, and
this is very hard for me.  Please bare with me.  You all know Susie, she
has been a great inspiration and help to me.  What you might not know is
that we have know each other for many years.  Her parents and mine are
friends.  I am known for not being able to talk to people and girls in
particular.

   I have tried to think of many ways to make this prom the best day of her
life.  I could think of only one thing that would make it memorable to both
of us and hopefully to some of you.  Susie come over here please.  When
Susie was with him at the mic, Ted dropped to one knee and pulled the box
out of his pocket.  With his thumb he opened the box and said Susie, Will
You Marry Me as he held the box up to her.  Katie looked at the ring, and
then back to Ted and then screamed YES TED I will.  She then pulled him up
and kissed him.  Ted then took the ring out of the box and put it on her
finger.  Cheers broke out from everyone.  Susie whispered is this what you
and Karen were talking so intensely about?  Yes, said Ted, she helped me
plan what to say and when.  This should answer the question you ask me
about what I was going to use the money I make at the gas station for.  I
love you very much more than I can ever express.

   As they left the stage, the band started their last song, but no one was
dancing, they were all trying to congratulate Ted and Susie.

   On the way home, they stopped at Ted's home to show the ring to his
folks.  Then Katie had to tell them just how he gave it to her.  Then at
her home they woke up her parents to show them and tell them the story
also. It was 4 in the morning when the limo driver dropped Ted off at home.


   It was almost noon when Ted awoke.  No one was home, so he called to
talk to Susie.  She told him to come over, as her parents wanted to talk to
the two of them.

   When Ted arrived at Susie's house, the family was having brunch, so he
joined them.  Afterward, David went to his room to play.  As Susie and Kate
cleared the table, John and Ted were chatting about various things.  Kate
said lets take our coffee to the living room so we can talk in comfort. 
The first thing that John said then was that was quite an unexpected event
last night, and we think that we need to talk about it

   Kate said we are very happy about it, but we do need to clear up some
things.  First when are you planning on the wedding?  Ted spoke up and
said, I am leaving that up to Susie, but for my part I would like it to
take place after we graduate, and after I receive my first paycheck from my
new job.  That was the second thing we were going to ask, was did you get
the apprenticeship, but it sounds like you did, but it was never mentioned
last night.  Yes Ted said, it was announced at the prom that I did get it
and I start two weeks after graduation.

   Susie then said, I want the wedding to be before all my friends start
leaving for college, so I guess that about 6 weeks after graduation would
be about right, if that will fit into any plans that you and dad have.  I
would like it to be a nice, but inexpensive wedding.  We do not want to
cause you and dad to put out a lot of money.  I have been thinking all
morning, and I think I can keep my guest list down to about 20 couples.  I
don't know how many you and dad would want there, nor Ted's family.

   Ted said, in my family I can count possibly 4 couples if each of my
siblings brings a date, not counting any friends or extended family.  You
had better talk to mom about that.  I think that this discussion would be
better between Kate, your Mom and Susie, said John.  Ted lets you and I go
fishing and leave this to them.

   Driving out to the lake, John was unusually quiet.  After they got into
the boat and headed out on the lake, Ted said; John you seem to be very
quiet today.  Is there anything wrong?  John said, I am not sure.  I was
thinking about the discussion that the 6 of us had a few weeks ago.  Does
this marriage have anything to do with that discussion?  I do not follow
you, said Ted.  Until just recently, you and Susie seemed to just be good
friends, but now all of a sudden you are going to get married, and I was
wondering if maybe you felt that the two of you were being pushed into it,
by that discussion, said John.

   No, said Ted, I had already decided to ask Susie.  I was just waiting
