X-Force 58 - Enquiring Minds Want To Know... (continued)
	---------------------------------------------------------

"No no no," laughed Roberto,"I'm some sort of King or Sultan,
I..."
"What country do you rule? how many people in your kingdom? whose
your Prime Minister? What else do you do but be surrounded by impossibly
beautiful woman?" barked Nate.
DaCosta racked his brain for the answers, and as he did each woman
around him popped out of existence, until finally he was alone, in a quiet
white background, his skin growing darker and darker until it burned with
a black non-light.
"Go back to where you belong Sunspot," said Nate, almost sadly,
and Sunspot faded away.

Deadpool held onto Siryn's hips, pumping in and out of her tight
pussy, his hips banging against her firm ass.
Warpath held onto Siryn's head, his large cock sliding in and out
of her warm, moist mouth.
"You gonna cum soon Injun?" asked Deadpool.
"Why?" asked Warpath,"Can't you keep up?"
"No, it's not that, it's just that you're looking tired."
"I can do this just as long as you," growled Warpath, redoubling
his efforts.
Now the two were pumping back and forth in contrast to each other,
so Siryn's sweating body was being pushed back and forth as they slid in
and out of her mouth and cunt.
"Do you get anything out of this?" asked a mysterious figure,
crouching down next to her.
Siryn's eyes widened, rolled around and faced him.
"Ymmphh," she moaned around Warpath's cock.
"I can read your mind," he said,"Let's talk telepathically."
	- Yes, it's so much fun watching them argue over me. -
	"It's not real you know?"
	- What are you talking about? -
"Does it really seem likely that a psychopathic, homicidal maniac
and a proud Indian warrior would act like this and agree to have sex with
you in this way?"
	- Why not, Deadpool isn't..... -
"When did you ask them to try it, and how did they react?"
	- Well I.... -
"And how did they get here? And where is here?"
	- It's the X-Force compound and.... -
"Why would Cable or Domino let Deadpool in here?"
	- I..I...I.... -
	"Where have they gone?"
Siryn looked around, Warpath and Deadpool had disappeared.
"It's not real is it?" she said, sadly, already fading away.
"I'm afraid not," said Nate, watching her disappear.

Nate pushed the dominatrix out of the way, lifted Shattarstar by
the leash and yelled at him.
	"NO!"
"What?" gasped Shattarstar,"Leave me alone, me and Mistress Cora
are busy."
"You sick little bastard!" screamed Nate,"You make me sick, I
should thrash you to death."
At that, Shattarstar's battle honed instincts returned, he pushed
Nate away, kicked him in the gut, reached for a sword that wasn't there,
and then faded away.
Mistress Cora unleashed her whip, growled fiercely, then popped
out of existence.

Nate stood in white nothingness, slowly it faded, until all the
illusions were dispersed and he stood within Sinister's lab, the various
members of X-Force lay around him, sleeping quietly and peacefully.
"They'll be awake soon," muttered Nate, then collapsed to the
ground.
"Are you all right Nate?" asked a voice, a happy, musical quality
to it.
He managed to turn his head, looking up at Threnody, who was
smiling down at him.
"You're the girl who I heard calling for me," gasped Nate,"It's
why I came down here, and I've had a lot of troubles because of it, so you
better have a good explanation."
"Nate darling," she laughed,"Your life has just changed for the
better!"

Domino stared at the space where the Pac-Rat had been, she kept
expecting it to reappear.
"We had that thing ever since we went up against S.H.I.E.L.D,"
muttered Rictor.
"I cannae believe he took it," said Siryn,"He and that witch
Threnody just up and stole it while we were asleep."
"Maybe he thought he needed it more," said Meltdown quietly,"So
how are we going to get home?"
Domino shrugged,"We walk to the nearest road, hide in the bushes
and get Meltdown to show a little leg, then we get the married trucker
who picks her up to take us back to Westminster."
Siryn looked up and down Meltdown's body, then smiled slightly.
"Maybe the lass can just spread her arms and let the wind catch
her, then she can float home?"
So X-Force started to head for the highway, arguing all the way,
and Domino thought to herself.

	X-Men Unlimited - Aggressive Therapy.
	-------------------------------------

Professor Xavier tried one more time, and once more he was
rejected.
He sighed in exasperation and settled his elbows on the huge
chest of his step-brother - Cain Marko, the Juggernaut - and sighed
again.
"Cain," he whispered to himself,"Why won't you let me help you."
The Juggernaut did not answer, he could not answer, because he
was unconscious, and had been since Magnus had crushed his mystic armor
around him.
Everytime Xavier tried to enter the Juggernaut's mind, he was
pushed away. Even though he had the mental strength to push his way
through, he feared that would do more damage to his step-brother's mind.
"You're only pushing me away because it's me, but I'm the only
one who can help you."
"Rubbish," said a voice, he twisted around and found himself
facing Cable, who was staring at him with a little grin on his face.
"I fail to see the humor," said Xavier,"Although I'm glad you're
alive, where is Storm?"
"Believe it or not, the woman is freshening up," laughed Cable,"She
want's to look her best for when we take out Magneto."
Cable stepped into the room and looked at Juggernaut's body.
"The two of you are more alike than you'd like to admit," he
said,"You both refuse help, you both think you can do everything alone,
but we all need a little help sometimes."
"I'm afraid I don't follow you," said Xavier.
"That's the point," laughed Cable, and then his face was suddenly
blank.
"Clever," said Xavier to himself,"Kept me busy while you made
contact with Cain's mind, then jumped in where I can't follow."
	Xavier settled down to wait.

Cable was standing in a dark desolate setting, rocks rested on
a barren landscape, the sky was dark and the ground darker.
"Oh this is pathetic," laughed Cable,"Marko! where are you?"
"Okay," muttered the Juggernaut, appeared in front of him,"Are
you the cavalry, came to pull me out?" he barked out what could
be interpreted as a laugh.
"I can't pull you out, you have to do it yourself."
"So why are you here then, come to enjoy the scenery?"
"I came to find out what you're hiding from."
The Juggernaut growled at him,"I'm not hiding from anything or
anyone, I ain't scared of nothing!"
"Bullshit," muttered Cable,"You're scared of Magneto, because
he beat you in a fight and you thought nothing could stop the Juggernaut."
"NOTHING STOPS THE JUGGERNAUT!" roared Marko, swinging wildly at
Cable, his fist swung through Cable's body as if it wasn't there.
"I'm an astral projection," said Cable,"You can't punch your
way out of this, which is what really scares you, isn't it?"
In answer the Juggernaut swung again, again ineffectually.
"Ever since you became the Juggernaut you've been rushing headlong
into fight after fight, hoping that by running fast enough you can outrun
your fears, hoping against hope that you can prove that nothing can stop
you, because you're scared you'll discover that you can't fight your
way out of everything. Do you see the irony?"
	"Enlighten me."
"You're trying to prove you can fight your way out of everything
by fighting your way through everything, and now that you've discovered
there's someone tougher than you you want to hide here where it's safe."
"Psychobabble bullshit," growled Marko,"I ain't scared
of nothing!"
"Prove it, come on out of here and join us."
	"I can't, because you're right, there is something I can't fight
through, and it's this mental block that Magneto put in my head to keep me
knocked out."
"Magneto didn't put anything in your head," said Cable
angrily,"You put your own mental block in."
And saying that, the Juggernaut found himself facing a
gigantic stone pillar.
"You know who is holding this pillar up?" asked Cable.
"No, but I'm sure you're going to tell me."
	"You are."
	"OH FUCKING BULLSHIT!"
"It's true, on the other side of the pillar is you, you're holding
the pillar up and it's up to you to push it down."
	The Juggernaut laughed.
"No problem, nothing can stop me!" he stepped forward and pushed
against the pillar, but nothing happened.
"Marko, there's another you on the other side of that pillar who
is pushing back just as hard, you have to get him to stop pushing so you
can knock it over."
"Listen to me Mr Psychiatrist, I got my own way of doing
things," and so saying he began pushing again, but again nothing seemed
to be happening.
Juggernaut kept pushing, his fingers dug into the wall, and then
just as Cable was about to interrupt him, the Juggernaut stopped pushing
and pulled back on the pillar.
Cable stared in shock as the pillar collapsed on top of the
Juggernaut, breaking around his head and body.
"So where's this other me," laughed Juggernaut.
"He disappeared as soon as the pillar collapsed," said Cable.
"I gotta make him stop pushing," laughed Juggernaut in a high
toned voice that was supposed to be a parody of Cable,"Hah! What I had
to do was make the other me push harder, sometimes you just gotta pull
the wool over your own eyes, and nobody does it better....."

".....than me," said Juggernaut, sitting up and grabbing the
buckled and cracked helmet by his bed.
"Cain?" asked Xavier, stepping backwards in shock.
"Hey Chuck," muttered Juggernaut,"Mad to see you're
still walking, but I got better things to do then smash you today."
He pushed at one of the buckles on his helmet, it popped back
into place and he put it back on his head, it sealed with the rest of
his armor easily and he slipped of the bed.
"I'd thank you for the help," he said to Cable, who had just
come back to himself,"But you didn't help any."
With those words he strode out of the room, finding himself
outside the ruins of the Mansion.
"Whose your interior and exterior decorator," he laughed,"You
should sue them."
Xavier and Cable watched as he walked away, they turned and saw
Storm approaching, back in her familiar gray costume.
"Are we to just let Marko escape then?" she asked.
"I doubt we could make him stay," said Xavier,"And we have work
to do, I haven't been able to locate Magnus with Cerebro, it seems that
I must try again."
	"And if you fail?"
"If I fail? then we make our way to Four Freedoms Plaza and see
if our friends have had better luck."
Cable and Storm watched as he walked back into the few surviving
rooms in the Mansion.
"I'm worried about him," said Cable,"I have the feeling that this
is hurting him more than he'd like to admit."
	BEEP, BEEP
"My beeper?" muttered Cable,"Funny how it survived the adventures
we've been through."
He walked into the room and picked up a phone, he was surprised to
hear a dialtone.
"Will wonders never cease," he muttered and dialed the number on
his beeper.
	"Hello?"
	"What?"
	"Where?"
	"Okay, I'll be there soon."
He turned and smiled at Storm.
"Domino, apparently her and X-Force lost the Pac-Rat to Nate
Grey, I have to go pick them up, it should only take a half hour, they're
not far from here."
"I shall come with you," she said,"I think Charles would like to
be alone."
They walked to a garage, and wonder of wonders, they found that
Xavier's car was still in working order, if a little dented.

Xavier put on the Cerebro headpiece, then began canvassing the
New York area for Magneto's mutant signature.

"It appears that Magneto is approaching the Avengers, perhaps
to finish them off, maybe to gloat?" said Trish Tilby.
Magneto smiled as he approached, whatever electromagnetic effect
that had shorted out other camera's seemed to be gone, his face was
broadcast around the world.
"I grow tired of these interruptions to my work," he said with
a laugh,"So I think I shall silence then."
Almost casually he lifted his arms up above his head, white light
shone from his eyes.
"I AM MAGNUS!" he roared and white light burst from his body, the
camera exploded in the cameraman's hands, the newsvan caught in flames.
White light flooded through Central Park, through New York City
and the greater New York area - including Westminster.
In a small truck stop only half an hour out of Westminster, five
truckers, three waitresses's and two cooks lay unconscious on the floor
next to the members of X-Force.
Only a mile down the road from Xavier's School for
Gifted Youngsters, a red sports car lay in a ditch beside the road,
Cable and Storm were unconscious inside.
Inside the School, Professor Charles Xavier lay unconscious, the
Cerebro unit was now offline, but Xavier's consciousness had been inside
the machine itself when the E.M Flare hit, and now his astral form hovered
above his body.
"My body is safe enough," he thought to himself, then drifted
away, searching for Magnus.

Three minutes after the E.M Flare began New York City stood in
darkness. There was no sound but a light wind, no dogs barked, no birds
sang, and no people talked.
The only one still standing was Magnus, and then sound did come
back to the city - Magnus' laughter.

	-------------------------
	Avengers 402 - Holocaust!
	-------------------------

Thor was the first of the heroes to awaken after the E.M Flare,
he struggled to raise up to his knees, but collapsed again.
"By Od's Beard," he moaned,"I feel as weak as a new born lamb."
He managed to get himself sitting in a squat position, he looked
over at Trish Tilby, she seemed to be all right, simply unconscious.
"Tis not seemly for a God to be so weak," he said to himself,"But
since Odin has seen fit to make me mortal, I know not if this be normal
for a battle weary human, or if my weakness is extraordinary."
"Do you God types always talk to yourself?" asked a beautiful,
fluid voice. Thor looked up and found himself facing the Scarlet Witch,
next to her stood the Vision, apparently unharmed.
"Vision, I thought I had destroyed thee?" gasped Thor, struggling
to his feet,"My heart is gladdened to see thee well."
[Wanda assisted me with her hex powers until my internal repair
systems were able to fix my injuries.] replied the Vision coolly.
	"Captain America?" Thor asked.
"I thought he was with you?" said Wanda,"The last I saw he was
attacking Magnus."
Henry Pym groaned and raised to his feet, he looked around and
moaned, his body shrinking back to it's original size he stumbled towards
the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
"We have to go find Cap," he said,"We might be able to help him."
The others nodded agreement, then turned and approached the other
unconscious Avengers - Black Widow, Wasp and Hawkeye.
The Black Widow was quickly awoken, then Wasp, but Hawkeye remained
out for the count.
"We all have superhuman qualities of some sort," surmised Henry
Pym,"Even the Black Widow has the Russian version of the Super Soldier
serum, but Hawkeye is pure human, albeit a fantastic athlete and master
archer. Perhaps our superhuman qualities are what allowed us to recover
so quickly."
"He's safe enough here," said Wanda,"Let's go get Captain America
and see if...."
Before she could finish, a loud cracking noise ripped through the
air behind them, they twisted and found themselves facing a large hole of
nothingness in the air.
"Well sure," said Hank,"Because we obviously didn't have enough
problems already."
Something tumbled out of the hole, orange fire burning from the
large figure as it screamed in agony. It collapsed 100 meters away from
them.
	"HELP ME!" it screamed.
The Avengers put aside all thought of danger as they rushed to aid
the mysterious figure, and within a few seconds they were all flying back
again, knocked away by a blast of powerful energy.
"IDIOTS!" laughed the figure, standing up and stretching it's huge
arms up over it's body. It wore orange tinted armor, beneath
the translucent armor could be seen a large skeleton, laughing maniacally.
"ENOUGH!" roared Thor,"FIRST MAGNUS! THEN A CITY UNCONSCIOUS AND
NOW SOME NEW SUPERVILLIAN? I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!."
He leaped into the air, Mjolnir swinging, and smashed it into the
orange figure's armor, setting a webwork of cracks through the faceplate.
"We can't have that!" laughed the figure,"Holocaust doesn't take
kindly to it!"
The Vision flew towards Holocaust, his fists clenched and ready
to hit.
"COME ON!" laughed Holocaust,"HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!"
The Vision flew towards him, and at the last second Holocaust
shot his arm up, trying to knock him away, but the Vision had phased
himself insubstantial, he flew through Holocaust's body, slightly hardening
as he did so, scrambling Holocaust's molecules, causing incredible pain
to the mutant killer.
A hex knocked Holocaust's feet out from under him, Henry
Pym - raised to giant size - smashed a fist into him while the Wasp
stung him with one of her bio-stings.
Holocaust was on his back, thrashing to and fro like a turtle,
Thor let out a laugh.
"This is the mighty new villain?" he asked,"Surely thou art
joking?"
Suddenly Holocaust reached out with a fist and grabbed
the Scarlet Witch by her ankle.
"A mutant!" he roared in delight,"I will feed on your power to
replenish my strength and then return to destroy the Generation
X mutants..."
A round shield flew into his face, cracking the armor and biting
into his face, his arm released the Scarlet Witch and she rolled away.
Holocaust twitched slightly, then collapsed unconscious to the ground.
"First rule most Supervillians never learn," said
Captain America, pulling his shield free from Holocaust's
faceplate,"Shut up and kill your victim, or lose."
"Cap?" asked Henry,"Are you all right?"
"Fine," smiled Captain America,"Believe it or not some citizen
gave me CPR and bought me back to life," he frowned,"I didn't think to
ask his name, but he saved my life."
"But, your injuries?" asked the Scarlet Witch.
"FREEZE!" screamed a voice, the Avengers turned and
found themselves facing nearly thirty men dressed in identical red and
black armor, each holding large energy weapons trained on the Avengers.
"What time is it?" moaned the Wasp,"Surely we get a lunch break
at some point?"
Captain America stepped forward, he stared angrily at the men in
costume.
"And may I ask just who you gentlemen are?"
"We are First Strike," replied the foremost soldier,"Infantry Unit
for Operation : Zero Tolerance."
Cap frowned,"Zero Tolerance? why don't I like the sound of that?"
"Sir," said one of the soldiers, holding up a piece of paper,"We
have been authorized by the United States Government to take the mutant
known as Holocaust into custody, please step aside so we can get him
loaded onto our airship."
Captain America stepped forward and took the paper, if it was
a forgery, it was certainly an excellent one.
"Go ahead," said Cap,"We have to locate Magnus anyway."
The Scarlet Witch stepped from behind the Vision, and suddenly
a bleep went off from a hand held instrument of one of the First Strike
soldiers.
"Mutant signature!" he roared, weapons suddenly flew up and began
firing blasts directly at Wanda, her hex power instantly rose
up, protecting her and the other Avengers, who stared in shock at the
First Strike soldiers.
"Sir, we seem to be having trouble countermanding her power,"
said the soldier with the instrument,"The null field is being knocked
back by something."
Cap walked forward, Wanda's hex power automatically surrounding
and protecting him, he approached the First Strike Commander, who looked
up at him in irritation.
	"Not now, we're busy...."
Cap's hand lashed out, knocking the commander of his feet, the
First Strike soldiers concentrated their fire on Cap, but the lasers
couldn't penetrate the field around him.
"Do you mind telling me just what the hell you think you're
doing?" he asked,"Or are you just going to keep trying to kill us?"
"Sir!" said the tech with the detector, saluting,"We are under
orders to execute any Alpha Class mutants we come across in New York
City with extreme prejudice, sir!"
"Extreme prejudice is right," muttered Cap,"I somehow don't
believe the U.S Government has ordered you to kill any and all mutants."
"Sir, we don't question orders, we follow them."
"That's ridiculous, blindly following orders has never been an
excuse, remember the Nazi's."
"You're living in the past!" yelled the Commander, getting back
to his feet,"Mutants are here to destroy us, we have to ensure our survival
by taking them out!"
