Celestial Reviews 162 - March 1, 1997

Note: The following anecdote is the sort of thing Deirdre would write if
she were the reincarnation of George Burns rather than Sherwood
Anderson:

One day this fellow noticed that a new couple had moved into the house
next door. He was also quick to notice that the woman liked to sunbathe
in the back yard, usually in a skimpy bikini that showed off a
magnificent pair of breasts.

He made it a point to water and trim his lawn as much as possible,
hoping for yet another look. Finally, he could stand it no more. Walking
to the front door of the new neighbors' house, he knocked and waited.
The husband, a large, burly man, opened the door. "Excuse me," our man
stammered, "but I couldn't help noticing how beautiful your wife is."
"Yeah? So?" his hulking neighbor replied.

"Well, in particular, I am really struck by how beautiful her breasts
are. I would gladly pay you ten thousand dollars if I could kiss those
breasts." The burly gorilla is about to deck our poor guy when his wife
appears and stops him. She pulls him inside and they discuss the offer
for a few moments.

Finally, they return and ask our friend to step inside. "OK," the
husband says gruffly, "for ten thousand dollars you can kiss my wife's
tits."

At this the wife unbuttons her blouse, and the twin objects of desire
hang free at last. Our man takes one in each hand, and proceeds to rub
his face against them in total ecstasy. This goes on for several
minutes, until the husband gets annoyed. "Well, come on already; kiss
'em!" he growls.

"I can't." replies our awe-struck hero, still nuzzling away.

"Why not?" demands the husband, getting really angry now.

"I don't have ten thousand dollars!"

"Adelina: A Cautionary Fairy Tale" by AirWeaver (e-me.com@juno.com).
This isn't actually a sex story: it's a romantic fairy tale. The
princess is granted a wish by a kindly wizard; and so she wishes she had
thick, golden hair to her waist and that it would grow two centimeters a
day, and if it's ever cut that it will grow twice as fast as before.
This leads to complications. Since there may be a curse on people who
give away the ending, I'll stop here - except to say that if you're
looking for explicit sex, this may be the wrong story for you.

"Women Prison Commission - Committee Report 12/95" by Felix Dartmouth
(felix.dartmouth@archw.com). This document purports to the a set of
instructions describing the types of bondage required or permitted in
the Louisiana State Prison System. It's written in such a plausible way
that a gullible reader may rush off a quick e-mail message to his/her
congressional representative to protest these regulations.

"Imagine My Surprise" by Morgan Preece (zanna@whoever.com). The boss
attends the office Christmas party and meets an employee he didn't know
he had. She's only 18 (to his 55), but he's immediately attracted to
her. The only thing wrong with this story is that it's not complete.
Right now it's just flirtation leading up to what I expect to be hot
sex. If it lives up to my expectations, when it's finished this will be
a good one.

"Cotton Dresses" by P.D. Michael (pdmm@interlog.com). The narrator has
a bit of a fetish for girls in cotton dresses. It stems from the day
that he first copped a feel from a girl in a cotton dress. The girl had
told her mother, and the two of them had come to his aunt's house (where
he was staying) and demanded that he be punished. While they berated
him, he became visibly turned on; and this simply stimulated the
viscious circle of arousal, if you know what I mean. Anyway, the aunt,
who also owned several cotton dresses, found it necessary to give him
some sex education. The story never does mention what the boy's
punishment was.

"Introduction to a Lady" by Unknown Author (THC Archives). The unnamed
lady is the mistress of a Japanese household of some kind. She manages
a large number of boys and apparently some girls. No actual sex occurs.
It's all a build-up for something that has to take place in your mind.
But it's a very nice build-up.

"Husband" by Alcibade. The husband stops the car and tells his wife what
he wants. When they get home, she will receive a phone call from a man,
and she is to do whatever is asked of her by the man. The husband
(Peter) trusts this man; and Peter, in turn, will submit totally to the
two of them.

Needless to say, Linda becomes Charles's sex slave for a week, while
Peter looks on and both of them experience verious types of humiliation.
Charles even loans them out to a 15-year-old Japanese boy, who has his
first sexual experience with them. The boy learns that he must learn to
be judicious and compassionate as he doles out pain and humiliation.
Equally needless to say, the experiences enhance the couple's
relationship.

The story ends very abruptly; it's appaently the first part of a
multipart story that is not yet complete (hence the "low" - 8 - rating
for plot and reviewer preference. I have never really understood the
logic (or the sound emotions) behind the need to humiliate a person I
loved, and this story does not persuade me. People who do understand
that logic or those feelings may enjoy this story more than I did.
