AN ELEMENTARY COURSE IN APARTMENT HOUSE MANAGEMENT
INTRODUCTION
Due to the emergence of a monied class during the late Middle Ages and the Industrial Revolution in the nineteenth century, the growth in population and the expansion of communication and transportation facilities, organization has become the prime mover of modern man's life. Organization gathers up the fragments of society to create and perpetuate such things as countries, religions, political parties, factories, labor unions, policemen, hospitals, ad infinitum. Western civilization rests on the mobile cohesiveness of organized majority and minority groups. This need for association cannot be assigned to specific institutions; it is practically inherent; there is desire for collectivity. At the same time it is instinctive; there is an affection for discipline and regimentation. Psychologically it is also a reassurance that one is not alone. And it is always a means of dividing the blame.
In classical times societies were more rigid. Although there was a tremendous emphasis on mental and military discipline, the early Mediterranean cultures were funda mentally master-slave societies. Organization was ordered. These empires were imperatively structured. With the development of the middle class, this sense of interdependence among men changed from something imposed to something innate. The new emphasis on commerce, the emergence of a new social order, the religious conflicts, the discovery of the Far East and the Americas intensified the differences of individuals and presented an augmented number of groups, at present innumerable, to which one could belong. This principle became applicable to personal as well as public time, to leisure as well as to work.
The Doris Love Club charmingly combines them both. Doris Warren is a business woman, but she does not want to work. She has property, an apartment house, and she wants it to work for her. Her plan to fill her apartments with friends is primarily a business enterprise. Doris' pragmatic attitude lends an objectivity to the book and makes their club quite a reasonable undertaking. The elaborate ingredients which go into the making of the club give the situation a surprising familiarity; it is a miniature society. Doris' club is not to be just a gathering for mutual pleasure and amusement, but a seriously adhered to organization with a constitution which clearly defines the rules and regulations. Doris' Love Club is not a game, although it is fun. Its ideas are well considered, and, therefore, respected. The club assumes its members to be adults. When they err, then they are punished. They accept responsibility for themselves and to the other members of the club. As a result, The Doris Love Club is dignified. The characters know their associations are positive, and they gaily persuade the reader of their sincerity.
The members of the club believe that free sexual association is an essential factor in a healthy, well-adjusted, open-minded individual. Doctor Weston verifies this hypothesis medically and brings into the club Mrs. Wardlaw, who so desperately needed to liberate herself sexually that she was on the point of nervous breakdown. The acts of the club members are pagan, justifiably so, with the most obvious interest being the pleasure derived from the acts themselves. It must be noted, however, that their attitude is much more expansive than sex itself. Good sex is a vital, but an incidental, aspect of the happy individual. They come together as a group to emphasize the value of sex simply as sex, without the emotional overtones that inhibit and frustrate most people. This is inferred from Nancy Durand's story. By the group she is shown that there is no reason to fear sex, nor to minimize its importance. It must be respected as a natural longing, and the club represents a fulfillment of that longing.
Doris' Love Club offers a wide variety of sexual experiences to its members. It intends for the young men and women to take a dualistic attitude in regard to their associates. In a sexual relation, a man or a woman is primarily the sex he or she represents. In an emotional or intellectual relation the individuals are highly personalized. As a result couples form intimacies that do not restrict them from their group indulgences. It is for this reason that Al's and Betty's marriage is consummated without the normal sexual codes, and they remain at Doris' with the understanding that they are free of conventional marriage vows when it comes to participating in the club's activities.
There is a method; there is even a science in the club. There is a very definite spirit of the times, one which combines the fervor created by Freudian psychology and the clinical, calculated achievements of Dewian philosophy. It does, however, carry itself away in a ludicrous extreme which unfortunately is self-defeating for the author and the ideal of the club. Specifically this is found in the constitution's chastisement for a member if he breaks the oath of secrecy. The punishment is perverse and adolescent. Another more important example is the book's ending with Nancy, Gerald, and Doris locked in an all embracing avowal of love for one another. Although the book ends here, this is not a permanent state of affairs, rather the sort of thing that is wonderful as long as it works. The author wanted to avoid an answer to what happens when transience is no longer enough. Perhaps Doris, Gerald and Nancy were self-contained and self-fulfilled in this type of menage a trois so that the problem would never arise.
The aim of the book is to reveal the nature of a sex club and the maturity behind this particular one. It most successfully deals with the beginnings of Doris' club. It outlines in detail their purposes and their achievements. The members are young adults, trying to show one another through shared experiences the way to fuller lives. It is not intended as a solution to the problems, sexual and otherwise, of modern life. It is rather a reflection of contemporary society. By factoring out organization from the socio-political structure, Doris and her friends applied it as a principle to their sexual lives and created a justified preference for doing so.

CHAPTER ONE
Doris Warren uncrossed her shapely limbs and leaned forward in an attitude of deep concentration over a big sheet of paper which she had literally covered with figures. There was a pucker in her pretty brow, and every now and then she would moisten the end of her pencil between red lips that pouted amorously. The pout now seemed to be one of a different nature however, for her whole attitude bespoke attention to the problem at hand.
Vaguely she raised her head and gazed out of the window. What a beautiful day it was outside. She wished she were at the beach. What time was it? When would Gerald call? Thus her mind wandered from the problem she had set herself to solve. With a shrug of distaste she crumpled the sheet in her hands and threw it into a waste basket that stood by her writing table. She rose and went to the phone.
She dialed a number and waited patiently for an answer.
"Hello-Gerald?"
"Listen honey, what time will you be over?"
"Can't you make it sooner? I've something I want to talk to you about?"
"Oh I can't tell you over the phone, but I've got a new idea to make the apartment pay, and I want to talk it over with you."
"Can't you come directly from the office and have your supper here with me?"
"O.K. then, I'll be seeing you."
"Shhhhh-not over the phone!"
"And how, my dear, and how."
She hung up the receiver with a laugh, and her blue eyes sparkled with pleasure and excitement. Going into her kitchenette she started to prepare various and sundry things. She was busy for quite some time and when at last she came out, her face was flushed and warm and she brushed her ash-blonde hair back with one hand. On close inspection she proved to be a very charming girl of perhaps twenty-five or thereabouts. Her skin, like most blondes, was very fair and her straight little nose and dainty chin gave her a piquancy utterly feminine and wholly good to look upon. She laid aside an apron that she had been wearing and adjusted herself before a mirror. She was dressed in a blue silk frock and had on black silk stockings and black patent leather pumps. Her hips and limbs were full and well rounded as were her breasts. Indeed she was a very "curvy" little person-all in all.
She patted herself here and there and smoothed her dress down over the hips. With a nod and a smile of approval to herself in the glass she turned and sat down. For some time she read out of a magazine, getting up from time to time to look into the kitchenette to see how things were coming along. Finally she started to set the table and make the coffee.
There came a brisk knock at the door and with a hurried glance in the mirror she opened it.
"Darling."
"Oh, Gerald-"
They were in each other's arms, and Gerald pushed the door shut behind him with one foot. He was tall and dark with a skin that was almost olive in tint. His eyes were black and his hair was black and curly with a sheen common to such hair.
Doris liked to run her fingers through those raven colored waves at every opportunity and she was looking up at him now, caressing his hair while he covered her lips, cheeks and throat with kisses.
"Darling, I've wanted you so badly. I've thought of nothing else at all."
She laughed merrily, sort of a sound of a brook gurgling, and looked at him fondly.
"Of course it's been all of sixteen hours since you saw me last."
Now it was his turn to laugh.
"Now don't rag me, dear. Can I help it if I'm kind of crazy about you? You know I struggled to resist you, but what could I do? What chance has a mere male creature when you're around?"
She kissed him fondly and his eyes lighted up with pleasure when she said:
"Supper won't be ready for ten or fifteen minutes yet."
"Then we can...." he looked at her beseechingly.
"Of course, dear, I'd love it."
Quickly he lifted her in his arms and bore her to a sofa that stood against one wall. It was a huge, overstuffed affair and he placed her there and knelt beside her, kissing her breasts as she lay back.
With a little sigh she relaxed and let him have his way with her. Slowly he caressed her hips and thighs, raising her dress to a more convenient position. He kissed her rounded belly where it curved forth beneath the silk of her dress. He found that she had on only a thin underskirt that offered but little protection to the citadel he had set himself to take. The white thighs exposed above the tops of the silken stockings was too much of a temptation, and he fell to kissing them, stroking her legs the while.
She moved under his touch, raising herself up to allow him to adjust her dress so that it would not become too wrinkled. He kissed her lips, her eyes, her hair, her throat and nibbled at the breasts again through their silken covering. One of his hands stroked the silky patch of hair between her legs, and she opened her thighs wider to facilitate his movements.
One of her arms was around his neck, and she was whispering in his ear. Her other hand was fumbling with the front of his trousers. Presently she had them unbuttoned and was exploring the length of a long, hard something which she had found there. She came to the end of it and extricated it from the folds of his clothing. He sighed with ecstasy as she returned inside to feel his witnesses of virility.
Then her little hand was stroking back and forth along its magnificent length. He seemed to have thrust an inquisitive finger into her little love nest, for she arched her back and wiggled a little in sudden tremors. She raised her knees and flexed her limbs, the motion was as voluptuous as the stretching of a cat.
"Please, sweetheart. Now," she sighed.
He rose and quickly threw off his coat and unbuckled his belt. She eyed his stiff weapon with anticipation and delight. As he approached the sofa she reached out and took hold of it, pulling him toward her and opening her legs wider still in amorous invitation.
He hesitated but a moment to arrange his trousers and he placed himself over her. He had both arms under her, one under her neck and the other beneath her shoulders. With both hands she guided him to port, and as he settled himself into position she gave little, startled sighs every time he pressed forward a little. Soon her hands were wandering over his back and shoulders, and one of her arms found a resting place around his neck.
Their sighs and gentle motions continued for some time, and then the motion became more rapid and fiery. He thrusted; she heaved, in regular cadence.
She seemed to be quite out of herself for she bit him on the cheek and neck, crushing him to her fiercely. He murmured gently to her, and her motions increased in their rapidity.
She moaned.
"Now ... sweetheart, now ... sweetheart," and threw her legs around him clasping him tightly to her. He gave two or three more rapid thrusts, the last one with all his strength behind it. She gasped and glued her mouth to his. They struggled blindly. A convulsive shudder ran through his frame.
They relaxed and for some time nothing could be heard except their panting breath. They lay in fond disorder, utterly spent for the moment. At last she opened her eyes and looked at him. Softly beaming, utterly satisfied, wholly mysterious-her look caused him to again wonder at the indefinable sweetness in a woman's eyes after such an occurrence.
"Doris, Doris, my precious one," and he softly kissed her eyes and lips.
"Oh, Gerald," she sighed in utter contentment.
For some moments they lay alternately kissing and whispering words of endearment.
There was a spluttering hiss from the kitchen and a startled expression crossed her face.
"Gerald, quick, the coffee."
As rapidly as possible he withdrew from her and got up. Quickly jumping up and lowering her skirts as a somewhat leggy vision, she ran for the door of the kitchenette, Doris made a valiant endeavor to stop the percolator from bubbling over onto the stove.
* * *
"A wonderful meal, positively wonderful," said Gerald as he laid down his napkin.
Doris pushed the smoking tray towards him, and while he lighted two cigarettes she refilled his coffee cup. Handing her one of the cigarettes he said.
"Sweetheart, why won't you marry me? I've asked you a dozen times and you've always put me off. I am quite mad about you. I adore you. I worship the ground you walk on. I want you for my very own."
"Don't Gerald. Let's not go into that again. I do love you, you know that, but let's not talk of marriage," she replied, but there was a smile of sweet satisfaction on her face nevertheless. She always appreciated his proposals, and he never failed to propose, but she had never told him the reason for her refusal.
"What was it, my dear, that you particularly wanted to see me about? A new idea to make the apartment pay?" said Gerald.
"Well, I ... I hardly know where to begin, but it is an idea that came to me after you left last night. I am afraid that you won't think it's much good but..
"Let's have it, let's have it, my dear," said Gerald. "What's it all about?"
"Well, as you know, dear, when my mother died while I was in school, she left me this apartment house. It has ten three room apartments on the upper floor and nine on this floor, besides this one which I use myself. We're too far out from town, it seems, and no one wants to live here. At least for the past four years it has done but little more than pay expenses. I have lived of course, but I haven't saved a thing. I have pondered many times over various schemes to make these apartments attractive. I've purchased the ground between here and the corner and made it into a tennis court. I've transformed the basement into a club room with billiard tables and a dance floor. I've put sun baths on the roof and a roof garden besides. You remember I showed them to you when I first met you."
Gerald nodded and continued smoking.
"Well," she continued, "I've kept my bills paid and that's all. People come here and fall in love with the apartments, but they don't rent, and if they do rent they don't stay long. The usual reason is that it's too far from town. Last year I added sixteen garages to the four that used to stand on the ground across the alley and advertised for a class of people who owned cars and wanted to live out this far. It was no use. I'm just where I started four years ago, except that I have improved the value of the property about twenty-five per cent. I expect that the original property has advanced in value another fifteen per cent. That's all well and good, but I've got more than a real estate investment here to deal with. I've got an apartment house, and if I don't make it pay some way so that I am financially stable, along will come hard times some day, and I'll find that I am property poor. I've got to make it pay some way."
"Gee, Doris," said Gerald with a rueful shrug of his shoulders, "I didn't know it was as bad as that. I wish I knew something to help. Why don't you marry me and give the apartment away and forget your troubles?"
"Gerald Moore! I'll do no such thing. Even if I did marry you, I'd still keep it and I'd want it to be a paying proposition, and besides," she said, pursing her adorable lips firmly, "I want to make a go of it. And," she added, "I shan't quit till I do."
"Then by all means let us see where we can make you successful," said Gerald with a smile.
"You know the ideas we talked over concerning the social relationship of people who are not married? We discussed them at length when we first met."
"Yes dear," said Gerald.
"Well, here's the idea in a nut shell. Why can't we find a group of congenial people who could and would carry out those ideas with us and turn the apartment into a club. Not that the name of the apartment should be changed. You know, just call it a club among ourselves. It could be very discreet, and from the exterior it would still be just an apartment house, The Warren Hall, the same as before."
"By Jove," cried Gerald, "that is an idea and how! We've always wanted to form such a group and didn't know how to go about it. Why, it's wonderful! Why in the world didn't we think of it before? You're a marvel, Doris, an absolute marvel. The important thing is to get the people."
"Yes that's the important thing," replied Doris, "but I've been thinking about that too."
"Have you really?" replied Gerald.
"Yes," she affirmed, "I have, very much so. I've been thinking that we might get, first of all, that doctor friend of yours whom you introduced me to at the theatre the other night. You know, Dr. Weston."
"Who, Charlie Weston? Well, T don't know about that. Chuck has funny ideas about things."
"We could try," said Doris. "I particularly want a doctor, first of all."
"Yes, I know," replied Gerald, "the idea would be that everyone would have to pass before the Doc before being admitted."
"Of course," replied Doris, "that is essential. Now here," she reached behind her to a little table and extracted a slip of paper from the drawer in it, "is a list of rules that I drew up last night:
1. No jealousy.
2. No disrespect.
3. No gossip.
4. No ungentlemanly or unlady-like conduct.
5. No drunkenness."
"Just a moment, my dear," said Gerald, "people don't like a lot of don't's. Let's frame the whole thing constructively without the use of the word 'don't'."
"I didn't mean to leave them in their present raw state," replied Doris. "What I thought we'd do was to take all the deals that we had discussed and frame them into a constitution."
"That's a good idea," agreed Gerald, "if you have something down in black and white, then you know where you stand and incoming members will have something to study from which they can learn just what the club means."
"Let's do it now," said Doris with sudden determination.
"O. K. by me sweetheart. We've talked long enough about forming such a club. Now let's do it. But say," he added, "how do you expect to come in on the arrangement in so far as the apartment is concerned?"
"Oh, I've thought of a good idea. Wait till we get to it in framing the constitution, and I'll tell you about it."
Doris procured a stack of writing paper and brought her typewriter over to the table.
"Clear me a space where I can set this down," she asked of Gerald.
"Don't you think we ought to clean up this wreck before we do anything else?" he asked.
"The dishes can wait. I'm in the mood to frame this thing so let's start," she answered.
They talked and argued for some little time and then Doris' nimble fingers started to fly over the keys. They spent a good three hours over it in all. The pile of cigarette stubs at Gerald's elbow was indicative of the amount of concentration that he had been giving the subject, for he always smoked heavily when he was thinking.
"Let's go over the whole thing again, dear. Read it out loud and let me listen to it," said Gerald.
Doris began:

"Whew, it's rather long-winded, don't you think, Gerald?" sighed Doris when she had finished reading.
"Well, I don't know about that," answered Gerald. "It covers the field fully and undoubtedly there will be changes in it from time to time as the club grows. That Article on amendments allows perfect flexibility and room for growth. I think it's rather good."
"We didn't put in anything about the appointment of a physician," laughed Doris. "There's one thing we've forgotten already."
"Oh, that," said Gerald, "doesn't matter so much. Chuck Weston, if he agrees to join, will take care of it, and we can appoint him, all of which leads me to say that you're the first Mentor and I'm the first Secretary."
"Our first election," laughed Doris. "Wonderful."
"And now," she continued, "I shall make a perfect copy of the constitution, and when you come over tomorrow evening, we'll sign it."
"I'll get in touch with Chuck tomorrow, and if he's agreeable, I'll have him bring Cynthia Carter and come over with me," said Gerald.
"Cynthia Carter! Why I thought she was an old-fashioned puritan. Why do you link her name with Doctor Weston's? I've known her for years, ever since we were in school together and I thought she never went with anyone," cried Doris.
"Yes, I know. I didn't tell you, but she and Chuck have been thick as thieves ever since last Christmas when she had the flu," said Gerald.
"Well, that's sure news to me, but bring her over by all means," said Doris.
"With you and me and those two, if they agree, we'll be well on the way to starting the club, and I know Weston and Cynthia are living together, and they might just as well live here," said Gerald.
"That's fine," cried Doris, "and the first thing tomorrow morning I'm going to start work on the basement to fix it up. I want a kitchenette, two large dressing rooms. Gerald, you're not listening." The ambitious Mr. Moore had seated himself at her feet and was industriously kissing her knees.
"Not guilty," replied Gerald, "I heard every word."
"All right. What did I say?" asked Doris with a mischievous smile as she ran her fingers through his hair.
"Why ... why ... I ... well, you said that you were going to take the dishes to the kitchenette and that ... and that you were going to the dressing room."
"Gerald Moore! I said no such thing."
"Well," he countered, sliding his hands up and down her legs, "you said something about kitchenettes and dressing rooms but...." Here he wandered off the subject because he was concentrating on the expanse of thigh visible between the top of her stocking and the hem of her dress which his manipulations had laid bare. He placed several well directed kisses and finished, "and besides don't bother me when you see I'm busy."
Doris laughed delightedly and without restraint while Gerald continued in his pursuit of beauty. And pursue it he did, clear up to the point where her adorable thighs had their delightful meeting place. He covered her limbs with kisses and caressed them with his hands. The effect of this up on the sweet object of his attentions was to make her relax in her chair. If one watched closely it could be seen that she was gradually moving forward on her seat and opening her legs a little wider as she did so. The shy female being aggressive is a delicious spectacle, and it must be said in all truth that she was trying her best to present herself as open to attack as possible.
Finally Gerald separated the lips of the sweet mouth he found there and placed a lingering kiss upon the saucy little clitoris which perked up its head as soon as he discovered its hiding place. In fact it stood up to the full dignity of its absurdly short stature like some doughty knight guarding the gates of the castle.
Evidently Gerald came to some agreement with the fearless knight, probably by tickling him with his tongue until he fell into a fit of laughing good humor, for the dainty limbs stretched out wider still and a soft sigh was heard. A sigh that combined all that was contentment, all that was satisfaction, and all that was expectancy.
Gerald was missing one of the opportunities which so open a fortress presented to him, for he was covering the whole area with impassioned kisses lingering here and there to bite and suck and caress with his tongue some sensitive spot, which caressed continuously brought delicious little wiggles of delight from the shapely bottom.
"Gerald, darling."
"Yes, dear."
"Let's take off our clothes."
"All right, sweetheart."
After a few more kisses he rose and going to the bedroom he stripped himself in a trice. Returning to Doris he found her in the same position as he had left her with her eyes closed and her face flushed with desire.
Lifting her in his arms he walked to the couch, seating himself with her on his lap. They sat thus for some time-she covering his face with kisses, he, covering her breasts and thighs with caresses.
Finally he stood her up where she leaned languorously upon him, while he lifted her dress over her head, took off her chemise and brassiere. When she stood before him in nothing but stockings and slippers, he clasped her close to him.
"My beautiful, beautiful darling," he murmured, kissing her breasts and running his hands over her hips and thighs. "You're so wonderful. I adore every line and curve in your body."
Doris smiled down at him in fond delight, ecstatically happy that her lover should enjoy her charms so much.
"I love you too, sweetheart," she said.
He continued his caresses, moving forward on one knee to better cover her smooth belly with kisses. Then she put her hands under his chin and urged him back to a sitting position on the couch, and with a gentle push she signified that he was to lie back. When he had done so, she knelt before him and taking his manly weapon between her fingers she started to kiss it all over along its shining sides and atop its rosy head and round the thickly grown area near its base. She cuddled it against her cheek and murmured little soft love phrases to it.
Finally she came up over him with one knee on either side of his hips and with both hands guided his staff into her as she settled herself upon it. When she had gained the desired position and had settled upon him until she had him fully within her, she gave a little sigh and leaned over to give him a lingering kiss.
He put his arms around her and held her close down to him. Whereas, she would have straightened up again to her former position, he prevented this while covering her face with kisses. She relaxed a little in his arms and for a while they lay thus, closely joined but moving hardly at all. Gerald was the first to break this temporary truce by a few upward thrusts which so awakened her that she struggled to free herself from his arms that she might regain her former position as master of ceremonies. This she was allowed to do after a few more upward thrusts from the underneath combatant.
Placing her hands on his shoulders and supporting her weight on hands and knees, she started to move up and down and sideways upon him. At first her motions were slow and Gerald contented himself with caressing her breasts and running his hands over her smooth bottom and along her legs. But little of this was necessary before her breath was coming in short gasps as her motions became faster and faster, her breasts bobbing up and down with each sudden rise and fall.
At this rate she looked like St. George trotting forth on his charger to kill the dragon, and in evident fear lest she kill the dragon too soon, Gerald encircled her shoulders with his arms and pulled her down to him again holding her close. He could not completely imprison her, however, for her bottom continued to move a little as though she would not be denied. This was more than he could stand so he gave her a push sideways and rolled over on top of her. He then started to push in and pull out of her at a terrific rate.
Their climax was short but intense, for she had no sooner felt him driving in and out with all his strength than she clasped her hands across the small of his back and locked her ankles across his bottom. He had but little room in which to thrust into her for she crushed him to her so fiercely that all he could do was to struggle a little bit within her embrace. She gave a little scream and caught his lips between her teeth. Gerald groaned and a shudder convulsed his frame. They died away in each others arms and for some moments lay quite still, the only motion or sound being that of their labored breathing.
CHAPTER TWO
The first real meeting of the club occurred one evening about three weeks later. Dr. Weston and Cynthia Carter had agreed to join the club, and the doctor said he would be only too glad to act in the capacity of club physician. They had moved over to the Warren Hall apartments and had each taken separate apartments, situated adjacent to each other with a connecting door between.
There had been many times when the Doctor and Cynthia had gone down to Doris's apartment, and together with Gerald spent an enjoyable evening, planning the work that was going on in the basement where workmen were remodeling and redecorating. They had done other things besides plan club rooms, you may be sure.
Cynthia had a couple of friends whom she had recommended for membership, Betty Lancaster and Al Grey, and now they were all assembled in the club rooms. Betty and Al had passed their examinations and were to receive their oaths and initiations promptly and with dispatch.
Dr. Weston was a short, well formed man, very neat and professional looking and in a mild way was as handsome as it is safe for a man to be. Cynthia was fully three inches taller than the Doctor, slender, very dark complexioned and with the inclination towards a quiet temperament.
Al Grey was ruddy and bronzed, a football star in college and now an ambitious bond salesman with a passion for golf.
Betty Lancaster was a medium blonde with deep blue eyes, of medium stature and slightly inclined to be a little too heavy. Her weight was nothing less than charming, however, for it was equally proportioned about her person and she can best be described to you, gentle reader, after the man her in which the Doctor had truculently classified her when he first met her some nights previous. According to him, "She was built for service, not for speed."
Doris was happily leading them all around to inspect the new club rooms.
"I say, Doris," drawled Cynthia, "it's really charming. Don't you think so Betty?"
Betty nodded her head emphatically. "I love it," she said. "It's simplicity makes it all the more delightful."
The main room was about twenty by fifty laying the long way of the basement which was forty-eight by one hundred and twenty. This rectangle was set back fifteen feet from the front of the building and fourteen feet from each side. On three sides between the boundary of the main room and the walls of the basement were portioned off twelve small rooms. There were no partitions or walls, and everything was built of long drapes that reached from the ceiling to the floor. The main room and the smaller rooms as well, had ceiling drapes; but whereas, the ceiling drapes of the smaller rooms were done in single colors and were caught in the center with their slope toward the sides, the drapes in the main room were of varied colors and were caught to the ceiling around the edge of the room and at four different places on the ceiling, giving it several billowy folds, the largest being in the center which was surrounded by several small ones. The ceiling and wall drapes of each one of the little rooms were done in different combinations with covers on the low couches to match. Each small room had a rug on the floor and a table and two chairs, the latter were very low and roomy and thickly upholstered.
The main room had low, roomy settees distributed around its edges, and a low circular couch in the center fully ten feet in diameter. This was covered by a huge crimson throw which trailed off at the edges of the couch to the floor. At the back end was another raised dais of semi-circular shape on which stood a beautiful couch with a blue and gold cover. There was a rug of deep blue on the dais. Curtains fell from ceiling to floor behind the dais and also formed a canopy over it.
Doris was pointing to it.
"How do you all like the Mentor's seat of authority?" she laughed.
They all joined in to praise it as they had done other parts of the decoration scheme.
Passing on either side of the Mentor's dais, they followed Doris toward the back. The furnace and heating system had been entirely partitioned off from the rest of the basement, and two rooms with lockers had been added at the sides.
"Here are the dressing rooms and showers," said Doris, "one for the ladies and one for the gentlemen."
Underneath the stairs, one on each side, had been placed two lavatories and at the other side of the basement had been installed a nice, little kitchen with a store room at the back. Bare walls had been covered everywhere and neatly plastered.
They all went back into the main room.
"Did you notice how the pillars have been hidden?" asked Doris.
They were all curious to know, and she walked to the side to show them.
The drapes forming the walls of the main room had been placed just inside of a rectangle of pillars effectually shutting them off from view. On the other side where they showed in some of the little rooms, they had likewise been completely covered with curtains.
"And now," said Doris, smiling broadly to Cynthia, "we have two new members who have to be initiated."
Dr. Weston laughed. "What kind of a ceremony are we going to use, my dear?"
"Never mind. You'll see," answered Doris, and turning to Gerald, "Where is the copy of the constitution?"
"In that little table by the Mentor's couch," he replied. "I'll get it for you."
Al and Betty were lined up in front of the dais, and Doris took her place.
"You will repeat after me, please," she said and started reading the pledge.
"I say," interrupted Cynthia, "are you going to include that statement concerning contraceptives?"
"Yes, of course," replied Doris. "I'm glad you reminded me of it. Weil have to write that into the pledge at the first opportunity."
When she came to that portion she made Betty promise that she would never allow the sex act to be done to her unless she had taken the proper precautions as prescribed in her case by the club physician.
At this Betty laughed.
"Betty! This is no laughing matter," chided Doris. "Please take this oath seriously."
"I do take it seriously," said Betty, subsiding, "but I was just thinking." Here she stopped.
"Well, what were you thinking?" asked Doris with some asperity.
"Don't question her now, Doris. It's all right. Betty's case is a special one," said the Doctor. "I had a long talk with her when I examined her and it's quite all right, although the explanation had better be left to some other time."
"That's all right," agreed Doris. "But are you sure," she added turning back to Betty, "that you fully appreciate the obligation you are taking and the penalty for violation?"
"I really do, my dear," answered Betty, and there was a sincere ring in her voice.
"Do you also," she asked, turning to Albert Grey, "understand the importance of this pledge?"
"Indeed I do," he replied.
"Very well then, let us proceed," said Doris and continued with the pledge.
When the pledge had been taken the Doctor left the room a moment and came back with a shiny little scalpel, some disinfectant, gauze, and adhesive tape.
"Gerald," he said, "set that little table down here in front of the dais and place the constitution upon it."
"Righto."
When everything had been placed according to his wishes, the doctor took hold of Al's right wrist and sponged off a little area with gauze and disinfectant.
"Hold the pen over here, Gerald," he said.
With a deft movement the doctor made a small cross-wise incision in the vein, and immediately there appeared a drop of crimson that rapidly grew larger. Deftly the doctor filled the pen by letting some of the blood run along the wrist into it.
"Albert Grey," he said, "sign this constitution with the clean blood from your veins and keep this occurrence always in mind as a symbol that, as long as you are faithful to your oath of fidelity and secrecy, that blood shall remain clean."
Al seemed very impressed and signed his full name below the four crimson signatures already there.
Betty seemed a little faint when her turn came and asked for a chair.
"You will stand on your own two feet," said the Doctor. "Have courage, my dear."
"Will it hurt?" she asked.
"I sincerely hope so," replied the doctor. "This oath cannot be too firmly impressed on your mind."
This seemed to sound reasonable to her, for she stepped forward firmly and held out her arm to the doctor.
While Betty was signing, the doctor disinfected Al's cut and bound it with gauze and tape. "You can take that off in an hour," he said and turned to perform the same service for Betty.
When this had been done, the Doctor drew Betty to him and kissed her. "My dear," he said, "allow me to welcome you into our little circle."
This seemed to be a signal for doing the appropriate thing, and Gerald followed suit.
Doris and Cynthia both had their arms around Al and were kissing him.
A little later Betty came over to Al and putting her arms around his neck, she gave him her welcoming kiss. When Doris and Cynthia had kissed Betty, and the men had shaken hands all around, Doris said, "Chuck, this was positively wonderful, the way you carried that off. You know I hadn't really thought about all those details."
"I think it was fine," cried Gerald, "and I believe that we should write the whole thing into the constitution, including the statement that Chuck made to Al and Betty when he told them to sign."
They all agreed that this would be a good thing, and Doris sat down on the edge of the dais and pulled the little table to her.
"Who's got a fountain pen?" she ashed. "I'm going to put it in right now."
* * *
They had pulled two of the settees over to the circular couch, and Gerald and Doris were seated together on one of them. Al and Betty had the couch, and Chuck and Cynthia had the other settee.
They were laughing and talking gaily while the doctor was passing his flask around. He said, "We've got to appoint someone to. be bartender after this, and then we can have glasses and a little better service all around."
"Oh, why worry?" said Cynthia. "We don't want it too well organized. Let's keep it very Bohemian. You know, food in the kitchen, drinks on that large table over there, and let everybody be their own waiter."
"Excellent," cried Doris, "besides it wouldn't be fair to have one person doing that all the time, and we cannot have someone to do it who is not a member."
"Say, folks," laughed Gerald, "what are we going to do to initiate these two?"
Betty blushed furiously.
"You may well blush, my dear," said Cynthia, "if your initiation is to be anything like what mine was."
"I say," said the doctor, "let's all get rid of a few clothes and perform the ceremony right there on the couch."
"Oh, now really," Al stuttered.
"Forget it, forget it," said the doctor, "no false modesty here. Girls, I do believe he's bashful; do your stuff." He whispered something in Cynthia's ear, and she passed it on to Doris.
Immediately the two of them fell upon Al with loud cries and proceeded to divest him of his clothing. At first he tried to resist, but between the two of them they soon had his coat off and were making a wreck of his shirt and tie. At this juncture he decided that discretion was the better part of valor and started to assist in the process, but they would have none of it. As soon as he raised up to try to help, Doris pushed him down. Cynthia pulled off his shoes and was struggling with his trousers by the time Doris had divested him of his shirt. The underwear was a simple matter, with Doris pulling the upper portion off over his head and Cynthia pulling his shorts off his legs.
"Oh, look, what I've found," cried Cynthia, grabbing Al's cock in her hands. "Why he must be very old," she laughed. "See how stooped and wrinkled he is."
Poor Al's manly weapon was in a much shrunken state, to be sure, and everyone laughed hilariously at this sally.
By this time Gerald and the Doctor had taken the blushing Betty over to the other side of the circular couch, where the three of them were rapidly undressing.
Cynthia motioned to Doris to get her clothes off, and she left off kissing Al to comply. Cynthia snuggled down by Al's side and with one arm around his neck and one hand on his slightly less stooped and wrinkled weapon she gave herself over to arousing him and making him forget his shyness. Doris was soon undressed and came and lay down on the other side of him. When he saw that Gerald and the Doctor were busy with Betty, he promptly forgot his worries.
Cynthia got up to undress, and Gerald came around to her. "Shhh! Look at Betty," he said.
Look at Betty, indeed, for that blushing per son had the doctor stretched out on the couch and was busily engaged in kissing his staff of passion.
When Cynthia was fully undressed, she and Gerald got in the middle of the couch and sat watching Betty. She had forgotten everything except the one interest before her.
With her hands underneath the doctor's hips she was kissing his belly and the inside of his thighs which were spread apart and which she kept apart by lying between them.
"Oh you sweetheart," she told the stiff prick before her. "Oh, you darling," and she gave it another kiss whereupon it throbbed and jerked. With little cries of delight she kissed it all over, going up one side and down the other, lingering over the rosy top to touch it with her tongue.
Finally overcome by the sight before her she opened her lips and took just the tip of it between them. Here she stayed for a little bit, gently nibbling at it and caressing it with her tongue. Gradually she took more and more of it into her mouth.
"Say," whispered Cynthia to Gerald, "is the doctor initiating her or is she initiating the doctor?"
"It doesn't look," chuckled Gerald, "as though anyone is getting initiated."
Betty, by this time was moving her month up and down on the object of her adoration, making little kissing noises as she did so. Her eyes were closed, and there was a sort of fierce expression on her face as though the pleasure she was having was too intense to bear.
The doctor had laid utterly relaxed up to this time but was now stirred beyond quiet sufferance, and he began to raise his hips in little upward thrusts every time she came down on his shaft.
At this Betty put more fervor into what she was doing. By the motions of her throat one could see that every now and then she was swallowing thirstily and she was twining her tongue around her guest with great gusto.
Cynthia happened to glance down at Gerald, who had stretched himself at full length beside her while she remained in a sitting position, to find that the sight had aroused him fully and his erect spear was throbbing in anticipation. Cynthia stroked it with her fingers, and Gerald raised himself to receive a sweet kiss.
The doctor gave a groan, and they both looked back to see the scene before them. Betty had stopped moving up and down on the doctor's staff, but had forced herself down onto it until she had it almost entirely in her mouth. Just at that instant the doctor finished and with a shudder he paid her out for her trouble. The effect upon Betty was startling to behold. Her body writhed. Her face flushed. Her arms strained his body to her, and the muscles of her neck showed the pressure she was exerting to get him even farther into her mouth if possible. It was soon over and after a few more swallows Betty gradually withdrew to find that the little one before her, who but a moment before had so proudly stood at attention before her, was now in quite a dilapidated condition, being withered to but half its former size.
With a kiss upon its rosy head she raised herself up and threw herself on top of the doctor. Throwing her arms around his neck while he put his around her shoulders, she covered his face with kisses, whispering to him:
"Oh you precious, precious man. I adore you, I adore you." More impassioned kisses and the doctor opened his eyes and smiled at her.
"You're a darling, Betty, absolutely, a darling." Raising up she let him rise to a sitting position where he put his arms around her and gave her another kiss.
There seemed to be complete understanding between them and Cynthia said, "I'll bet Chuck initiated her into this club while he was giving her an examination."
"I wouldn't be a bit surprised," he laughed.
"Oh! Oh! Now! Now!" wailed a voice.
"What tha...." cried Gerald looking around.
All eyes returned to Doris and Al whom they had temporarily forgotten. She had taken her best--liked hold on her man, and he was struggling in it. She always liked to lock her arms around the small of her lover's back and her ankles over his bottom. In this way she had Al imprisoned, while waiting for his love charge. Al was struggling to stroke her, but she held him fast. Evidently she had won the race and was waiting at the end for him to catch up, but she was too much beside herself to grant him freedom to stroke her.
"Oh! Oh!" she sighed and writhed furiously, giving down her elixir freely.
She had just begun to quiet down a little when Al arrived and with a little scream she joined her mouth to his and came all over again. They died away in each other's arms to a duet of groans.
At this the doctor came over to congratulate Al, and Cynthia gave Gerald a nudge and told him to go to Betty.
Betty was lying on her back resting, and Gerald crawled over and lay beside her. He had never kissed her, but once, and that was when he had welcomed her after her oath of obligation. Now he meant to have his fill of this delicious girl.
Placing an arm under her neck he drew her to him, and with a smile she gave him her lips. Her kiss startled him, for it was so poignantly sweet. He threw a leg over her to get better position.
At this Betty's hands wandered down to investigate the cause of a sharp pressure against her pelvic regions and discovered a long and extremely stiff cock. Now it was her turn to be startled, for Gerald had quite the longest member she had ever come in contact with, and aside from his healthy charm, of which she was well aware, she was anxious to caress this new found toy.
Gerald kissed her again and she opened her lips and invited his tongue to go exploring, and when he withdrew her own followed it back into his mouth. Gerald was quite enamored of these kisses and would have continued them indefinitely but Betty raised herself up to a position where she could not only feel more thoroughly the new found charmer she had discovered but could see it as well.
Leaning forward, she began to caress it with her fingers, and it jumped and throbbed as though it thoroughly enjoyed her manipulations.
"Oh, the darling. Isn't he just the stiffest thing?" she whispered to Gerald, giving him another tongue kiss.
Gerald smiled and lay back, allowing her to have her way with him. He had heard from the doctor previously that Betty did not care for intercourse, but that her one absorbing passion was to get her pretty pouting lips over a stiff cock.
Betty now placed herself below him on the couch, between his legs, and proceeded at once to cover his weapon with ardent kisses. The object of her caresses throbbed and blushed furiously and ere long Betty could no longer spend time in dalliance over its exterior charms but must needs open her pretty mouth and take the head of it between her lips. Her throat gurgled spasmodically at the first touch and with a little groan of delight she pressed her mouth completely down over it until she had all she could possibly take of it.
Here she remained for a moment sucking and tonguing, but the excessive throbbing of her guest told her to proceed to extremes at once; whereupon she began to slide back and forth its length.
Gerald was much too overheated by watching her previous operation on the doctor, together with the scene of Al and Doris and a few caresses and kisses from Cynthia, not to be ready to lose his flood very quickly. Betty must have realized that he was wound up to a fearful pitch, for she was now sliding back and forth very rapidly.
A pair of soft arms stole around Gerald's neck and opening his eyes he beheld Doris. "Hello, sweetheart," he whispered, and she gave him a kiss.
Having an object whereon he might bestow a few kisses and caresses and thereby heighten his voluptuous enjoyment, Gerald held her close and when he was about to arrive at the climax, a point in which he betrayed himself by a heavy groan, Doris opened her lips and gave him her tongue which he sucked avidly. He spent with a shudder and Betty was so excited by the generous flood that she went quite out of herself.
When she did raise up, however, and saw Doris kissing Gerald a frown crossed her face. Gerald and Doris saw her rise and both of them beckoned to her to come and lay down beside them, but she refused with a nasty little laugh.
She said to Doris. "Where do you get the right to come butting in?" and turned away on her heel to where her clothes lay.
"Oh I'm sorry," Doris said, more to Gerald than to Betty who was too far away to hear her remark.
Gerald was visibly embarrassed and didn't quite know what to make of it all. It was so unexpected and so out of place that he could not get it straight enough in his mind to think clearly on it, so he said nothing.
Al, Cynthia and the Doctor had been witnesses to this little scene. Cynthia wanted to watch Betty's operation on Gerald instead of proceeding with Al's initiation, a decision she had arrived at partly because of the very evidently wilted condition of Al's member which Doris had seemingly taken all of the life and ambition out of.
They sat silent for some moments while Betty dressed and when she had finished she went out without ever a word, evidently to go up to her apartment.
"Well, all I can say is that she's a dirty cat," said Cynthia.
"Don't," said the doctor. "Don't say that. Betty is wrong and must be made to understand that she is, but please don't say harsh things about her, my dear."
"Well I don't care she's-," Cynthia began. "Listen," said the doctor commandingly, "all of you. We've started a club and have based it upon a solid idea. A part of that idea is freedom from jealousy, but let us all remember that humans are frail creatures and often subject to passionate outbursts which they later regret. Betty is to be helped, not condemned, and I feel that we should start out building the internal fabric of this little group with a broad view of human emotions that is above destructive criticism."
Cynthia subsided at this and then said, "I want to retract what I just said because I am sorry for it. Will you all forget the statement I made?"
"Absolutely," cried Doris. "I felt like saying the same thing, but now the doctor has shown us the proper course to follow and I think his idea on the matter is wonderful."
"How shall we go about teaching her?" said Gerald.
They were all at a loss to answer.
"That's something that will take a lot of thought, so between now and the next meeting I want you all to consider it. We will then sit as a court as prescribed by the constitution and straighten the matter out," said the doctor.
This was agreeable to them all, and they fell into easy and unrestrained conversation for a time. Doris went into the kitchen to put on the coffee, and Gerald and the doctor volunteered to make some sandwiches.
They had left Cynthia and Al sitting on the couch. Al was slightly embarrassed alone with Cynthia and made no advances toward her. They talked for some little time when Cynthia began to realize this shyness on his part. With a quiet smile to herself she decided to overcome that obstacle for the remainder of his initiation, something which up until that moment she had quite forgotten.
He was seated sideways at the edge of the couch leaning back on one elbow while she was lying on her side opposite him.
With an affectedly unconscious motion she started to stretch and turning onto her back, she flexed her limbs and arched her back. Negligently she threw one arm across her eyes and snuggled down into the soft mattress. This covering of her eyes was to allow Al to look at her every charm without fear of being detected.
With various little motions she conveyed the impression of a playful kitten and just when she was beginning to despair of getting any action out of Al in that manner, she peeped under her arm and saw him watching her with a burning gaze. To her delight his spear was standing up fiercely, and he was evidently trying his best to get into a position where she would not discover it should she uncover her eyes suddenly.
Without so much as a "by your leave," she slid one hand over and grabbed hold of it with extreme fondness.
Al let out a startled gasp and then recovering himself he threw himself upon the charming person before him and brushing away the arm that covered her face, he rained kisses upon her lips, her eyes, her cheeks, her throat and her breasts in a veritable whirlwind of passion.
"Well, well," laughed Cynthia, putting her arms around his neck and drawing him closer to her, "is our bashful initiate waking up."
"You sweet thing, I've wanted to smother you with kisses ever since I first saw you but I didn't want to presume upon my privileges as a member to tender your attentions that might not be acceptable to you."
"A pretty speech, a very pretty speech, and no doubt a well founded sentiment, but-" here she could not keep up the serious face that she had started with and burst into a gale of merry laughter.
Al, wholly at his ease now, proceeded at once to those extremities best calculated to arouse the desire of the adorable creature at his side.
Doris came to the door a few moments later to announce that coffee and sandwiches were ready, but she stopped with a little gasp and tiptoed back into the kitchen. A little later she returned with the Doctor and Gerald and the three of them stood watching the scene before them.
Evidently the two lovers were well on the way toward their goal, for Cynthia was writhing around like one gone mad when suddenly she pressed her mouth to his and made a little gurgling sound in her throat. Evidently Al took this to mean the end for he gave one more long thrust as though he would bury himself within her and remained quivering at the end of his stroke while Cynthia kicked his bottom unmercifully with her naked heels.
When they had subsided there came the sound of hand clapping and the two on the couch turned their heads to observe the audience of three that had enjoyed their short session.
Al got up and Doris came over and gave him a congratulatory kiss while the doctor and Gerald lifted Cynthia up. There was general merriment and good feeling all around, but they were all sorry that Betty had gone off in a huff. Adjourning to the kitchen they proceeded to help themselves to coffee and sandwiches, laughing and talking.
A little later in Doris' apartment Gerald asked, "I say Doris, is this thing going to solve the problem of making the apartment pay? I don't see just where you are going to get back what you have put into the club rooms?"
"Oh that's all to the good," said Doris, "you see the rent used to be seventy-five dollars a month. I have raised that to one hundred dollars a month, with the idea that the extra twenty-five was a small sum to pay for the privileges received and to reimburse me for the expenditures I have made."
"Good idea," said Gerald. "I never thought of that before."
"Of course when the club started I had to serve notice of removal on seven tenants because none of them seemed like good club material, but I think that it will not be very long before I will have the place full and the club will be going on quite merrily."
They talked for some little time about the problem involved in getting new and unknown people to join and at the end of an hour were no closer to a solution as to how it was to be done.
"I'm not worried though," said Doris cheerfully. "We'll think of something, I'm sure."
Gerald had seated himself beside her chair and had been gently caressing her legs when all of a sudden he looked up into her eyes.
"Sweetheart?"
"Yes dear."
"Tell me, will this thing take you away from me?" he asked.
"How do you mean-take me away from you?" she asked in return.
"Well, all this freedom. I know it's logical, and I've always believed that it was the only plausible answer to all the questions involved. I'm not the least bit jealous of you, just as I know you're not jealous of me. But darling, I feel for you in an entirely different manner than I do Betty or Cynthia. I can be passionate for them, but I can't love them like I love you. Why sweetheart, I ... I why ... when I think of you it just hurts inside here some place I love you so much."
"You silly boy, of course, all this isn't going to take me away from you."
"I don't think you understand me. What I mean is, can we go on this way and not cheapen our love in any way?"
"I believe so," Doris replied. "If I didn't, I would never have started in the first place."
"Oh you darling, darling, then you have thought about that part of it."
"Of course, goose," and Doris laughed merrily. For answer to this Gerald picked her up and carried her over to the couch where they lay in each other's arms for almost an hour, talking quietly and kissing each other.
Doris was the first to interrupt this little quiet heart-to-heart by feeling around Gerald's buttons, which she opened. An exploring hand reached in.
Doris gave him her mouth to stop him from talking and had soon extricated the object of her search. With one arm around his neck and the other extended down to where her hand was gently caressing his staff, she soon got the desired result, for he stood throbbing beneath her touch.
Gerald could not remain inactive during this little play and he was soon exploring the beauties hidden between her thighs. At last it became too much for him to undergo quietly, and he stood up, throwing off his clothes quickly.
Doris made a pretty picture lying on the couch before him with legs spread invitingly open, her dress up around her waist and whenever she caught him looking at her she would wiggle her bottom and raise her knees invitingly.
All this was a little too much for one so passionately addicted to the weaknesses of the flesh as Gerald, and in a moment, he threw himself upon her, not even stopping to take off her dress.
Running his tongue into the adorable opening that presented itself when she opened her thighs to their widest extent, he caused her to shudder with delight. When he had continued this for a moment, she could no longer keep her bottom still, especially when he took her clitoris between his lips and gave it a continued sucking, playing about it with his tongue. She moved from side to side and even gave little bucks of impatient ecstasy whenever he would desist for a moment.
"Stop a moment dear," she said after a little and sitting up, she started to pull off her dress. With Gerald's help this was soon accomplished and when Gerald sought to return to the position that he had just quit, she said:
"Sweetheart, can't you turn around so that I can have him," giving his cock a gentle squeeze, "to play with?"
He humored her whim and laid himself down beside her so that his legs extended beyond her head, he placing his own head between her thighs. He put one arm across her bottom and drew her over on her side, and she drew up one leg to facilitate his movements and give him perfect freedom. He revelled in the softness of the inside of her thighs, covering them with kisses and every now and then giving her little bites that sent tremors of delight through her body.
Doris likewise put an arm across his hips, and with her other hand started to fondle the boldly standing prick which now perked his head up at her as if to say, "I dare you."
She dared all right, in fact she had been secretly planning just this ever since she had seen Betty give Gerald so much enjoyment a few hours before. She started in to kiss its sides and rosy head, but she did not stop long at that. Gerald was giving her such exquisite delight with his tongue where he caused it to play about in the folds of her nether mouth, that she not only could not hold still, but she sought to express the ecstasy within her and opened her mouth and took the head of her charmer within it.
At the first contact she was agreeably surprised by the thrill which the smooth head gave to her tongue. Most of all she was delighted in the groan of pleasure which came from Gerald. At the thought of being able to bestow so much pleasure upon her most beloved, she slid her mouth down on it and started twining her tongue about it in an ecstasy of mad delight.
Gerald on his part went quite out of himself, and he bit and sucked and kissed the sweet mouth before him furiously.
This was too much for either of them to take calmly, and Doris was wiggling her bottom for all she was worth. Drawing up both legs, one under his head and one over, she pressed it between her thighs and Gerald started giving little thrusts which told Doris that she was getting the desired result.
Doris let out a startled gasp and started to quiver all over, and Gerald glued his mouth to her love nest fiercely until her spending should be over. At almost the same moment Gerald felt his climax arriving. He wanted to withdraw so that she would not get his seed in her mouth because he was afraid that it would sicken her. He was in a sorry predicament because if he left off kissing her he would spoil her climax. All he could do was to try to move away from her.
Doris was much too far beyond the point of connected thought to realize what his movement probably meant and in the height of her delight she hugged him to her with all her strength, sucking and tonguing thoroughly. Then she felt his cock start to throb strongly and heard a groan escape from him, and she knew that he was going to spend. Far be it from her to withdraw now, for she was absolutely out of herself and when she felt his hot gush on her tongue, she pressed her mouth down on him as far as she could and swallowed all that he had to give with a shudder of delight.
They were much too spent to move for some moments, and they lay bestowing gentle kisses upon each other's beloved genitals.
When Gerald did raise up and turn around to her, she clasped him in her arms and drew him down to her roughly, kissing his lips and biting them in a frenzy.
"Oh I love you, I love you, I love you," she said over and over again between kisses, and Ger aid murmured little endearing phrases to her and looked at her with worship in his eyes. Passionately straining her to him, he lay for some time while they pledged themselves over and over to each other by the contact of their lips and the ardour of their glances.
When Gerald finally rose and started to dress, she stopped him.
"Sweetheart, you are not going back to your own apartment tonight, because I want to sleep in your arms."
"You darling, darling," he said kissing her. Picking her up he took her into the bedroom where they were soon ensconced between the covers of her bed, and with a little sigh of contentment Doris snuggled down in his arms. Cheek to cheek they were soon in the land of dreams.
CHAPTER THREE
Dim lights glowed softly from the hanging above the couch with its crimson drape, but no amorous couple could be seen thereon wrestling in the sexual fit. The members had assembled, but they had an unwelcome duty to perform and a pause had fallen upon the conversation.
Doris ascended the Mentor's dais and reclined on the couch thereon, leaning on one elbow.
Gerald took his seat before the little table at the side. After a moment he rose.
"Miss Lancaster, please."
"Yes," answered a subdued voice.
"Will you come forward?"
Betty walked to a point directly in front of the dais. She was very much embarrassed.
"You are charged with jealousy," said Gerald. "What have you to say in your defense?"
"'Nothing."
"Do you admit the charge, and do you plead guilty before the members assembled," said Doris. "Before you answer," she continued, "I should tell you that you may plead innocent and that you may argue your own case or request someone to help you."
"I wish to plead guilty," said Betty.
"Do you fully understand that you have violated the constitution in this regard!" said Doris. "I do."
"That will be all for the present," said Doris. Betty turned and walked back to her seat.
"I now have the unpleasant duty of placing the judgment in your hands," she said to the members, "and," continued Doris, "it is your duty to sentence the accused who has pleaded guilty. This you will do in accordance with the constitution by motion and ballot. May I take this opportunity to say, however, that being the one of whom the accused was jealous, I would like to let the matter drop and forgive her, something which I have already done in my heart?"
"That is all very well," spoke the doctor, "but I think we should set the precedent of punishing violations. Your forgiveness is admirable, my dear, and I feel that Betty, being truly sorry, appreciates your kindly thought and will cherish you for it. We all have forgiven her for that matter, but she has done more than offend an individual or group of members, she has violated the constitution and the forgiveness of members cannot wipe out the offense."
At this Betty stood up. There were tears in her eyes. She said:
"Knowing myself as I do, perhaps I can prescribe a more fitting punishment than you could. I am truly repentant and truly desirous of paying my debt to a document which I respect all the more for this occurrence. Will you allow me to punish myself?"
There was a surprised murmur at this and Doris said, "I am sure that you all feel the same as I do about this, that you rather hate to suggest the punishment. If you will signify your wishes in this matter by vote, all who are in favor of Betty's suggestion say 'aye.' "
There were a chorus of "ayes."
"Very well Betty, you have heard the acceptance of your suggestion," said Doris.
"I thank you all," said Betty, "and I want to thank you for your kindly spirit," she added to Doris advancing toward her.
Betty placed her arms around Doris' shoulders and gave her a kiss saying, "I have suffered much to think that I should have made such an ass of myself the other night. Now I want to set all to rights and discipline myself at the same time."
"Doris," she continued, "will you step to the couch?"
Doris complied, wondering why she was being led there by Betty. When they had arrived at the couch, Betty said, "First I shall be your maid and second, I shall be your priestess."
With this she started to undress Doris, taking off her dress and laying it to one side. Doris in her undies was a picture to look at, with her firmly swelling breasts filling out the curves of her lacy butterfly and the delicate curve of her hips showing beneath her little skirt where those curves tapered off into rounded limbs. Soon Betty had the butterfly and skirt off, and Doris stood forth in nothing but slippers and stockings. With another kiss Betty asked Doris to lie down. By this time everyone was wondering what was going to happen. Even Doris was at a loss to account for Betty's strange behavior.
At this point Betty went and got Gerald and led him to the couch. He stood there wondering what was coming next when Betty unceremoniously started to undress him. With a little help from him she soon had this accomplished; whereupon, she motioned him to a place beside Doris.
When he had laid down she knelt over them and gave them both a kiss. Standing up she started to take off her clothes and soon stood before them in all her glorious nudity. Gerald and Doris had watched her with some wonderment, although Gerald had kissed Doris a few times, for his cock was standing furiously.
When Betty found that all was in readiness she placed herself on the couch just back of Doris and leaning over began to kiss Gerald's staff of love.
After a few kisses upon its rosy head she placed an exploring finger between the lips of Doris' little love nest.
By a judicious manipulation of caresses and kisses she soon had them loving each other, and Gerald was trying to get on top of Doris, but Betty held him off until they both were madly impatient at the delay. With a final kiss on Doris' little love nest, in which she gently bit her clitoris causing her to squirm, and a final suck of Gerald's weapon, in which she made him groan from the strength of the suction she applied, she placed an arm over Gerald's bottom and urged him to mount Doris. This he soon did, and Betty opened the folds of her nether mouth with one hand and stroked Gerald's weapon with the other. When both were in close proximity she guided the now throbbing staff into the cleft made to receive it, gently massaging Gerald's balls and causing him to drive into Doris as though he had not a moment to spare. Doris was quite wound up by this novel preparation, and entwining Gerald with arms and legs, she settled down in earnest to give a little upward buck every time he thrust forward.
When Betty had them both going good, she leaned over them and gave them both a kiss.
Getting up she went over to Al and requested him to come to the couch. When she had led him to the scene of the battle, she seated herself beside Gerald and Doris and made Al stand before her. With hands and lips she soon had him dancing first on one foot and then the other.
Gerald was driving in and out fiercely, and Betty, perceiving that they were about to spend, slipped one hand between the amorous pair and gently ran her finger around the lips of Doris' love nest to see that none of the lips there were folded in. Giving Doris' clitoris a little tickle, that young lady cried out in her enjoyment. To make Gerald bestir himself even more, she placed her fingers compass-shape across his quickly sliding weapon and gradually increased the pressure adding to the already maddening enjoyment he was going through, at the same time tickling Doris' clitoris with her thumb.
The effect upon them was wonderful to behold, and they writhed and twisted, gasping and sighing until they died away and lay spent, Al, so much worked on by Betty's manipulations and overheated by the voluptuous scene he was looking down on, was impatient to have either Betty suck him off or else to find a convenient cunt in which to place it for the time being. This latter was what Betty had in mind for making Gerald get up. She motioned Al to get over Doris.
Doris lay, utterly spent, but she opened her eyes in wonderment when she felt Al's weight upon her, his hot kisses against her lips and a long, hard, and smooth cock being guided to its haven by the wicked fingers of Betty.
Doris, recovering from her first surprise and awakened by the titillation of Betty's fingers upon her clitoris and the pleasant stimulation of a hard weapon piercing her very vitals at every downward thrust, opened her arms to her guest, encircling him with her legs and bucking amorously to his thrusts.
In fact, between Betty's fingers and Al's manly weapon, Doris was quite out of herself, for she lay alternately biting and kissing Al, murmuring little words of passion and endearment.
At this point Betty turned to the doctor, who, together with Gerald and Cynthia who had come forward to watch the show, was standing near. Pulling him to her by the simple expedient of taking hold of his member and urging him along, she drew him close to her and started in to kiss his already stiff staff and to tickle his balls. The Doctor, always ready for this kind of play, stood and alternately ran his fingers through her hair and patted her cheeks.
Betty's finger was not idle on Doris' little clitoris and between Al's wound up condition and the unusual excitement she was undergoing, Doris was ready to spend.
"Oh! Oh!" she cried.
"Oh! Ohhhh ... now, now, now," and clasping her hands across the small of his back and locking her legs around his bottom she shuddered in a veritable spasm. Al's climax was announced then by a gasp and a tremor.
This time Betty did not even take her hand away from Doris' clitoris but continued to titillate it while Al got up, and she made the doctor get over Doris.
Opening the lips of Doris' nether mouth and guiding the doctor's weapon into it, she gave the doctor's balls a little squeeze with her free hand sending him into action immediately.
Doris was too far gone to be surprised at this third invasion, too far aroused by this overmatch and the continued tickling of Betty's fingers, to be capable of connected thought, and her actions showed her to be quite out of herself. She gasped. She shuddered. She bit the doctor, then kissed him. She raised her knees and rocked the doctor from side to side as in a cradle. This stopped his stroke for a moment and impatient at this delay Doris kicked his bottom with her heels. She scratched his back, making bright red marks with, her fingernails.
This of course could not last very long for it was too severe to be sustained. Doris, unable even to acquaint the doctor with the fact that she was ready, opened her mouth with a gurgling sound, crushed her lips to his and thrust her tongue into his mouth as far as she could, at the same time writhing from side to side with her bottom.
This seemed to have the desired effect, however, and a moment later they spent amid a duet of sighs to the enjoyment of all the audience.
Betty rose and went into the dressing room, returning a moment later with a towel and a soft cloth and some cold cream.
Making the doctor get up she placed the towel under Doris, drying her nether parts of the moisture there with the end of it.
Taking some of the cold cream in the fingers of one hand she opened Doris' thighs with the other and applied the cold cream generously to the lips and internal portions of the lately stormed fortress.
Doris lay quiet, utterly spent. When Betty had finished she placed the cloth bandage fashion over Doris' cunnie and closed her legs upon it to hold it in place.
Betty lay down by Doris and put an arm under her neck, giving her a soft kiss.
"How do you feel, dear?" she said.
Doris opened her eyes, starry with pleasure. "You're precious," she said to Betty, returning the kiss. "Absolutely a precious."
"She is a precious, and no mistake," said Cynthia. "I want to pass judgment upon her by saying that she is a good sport and a gentleman." The three men nodded solemnly, and Doris laughed merrily when she noticed the seriousness of their expressions.
Cynthia leaned over the couch and gave Betty a kiss, "My dear you have exonerated yourself with flying colors."
She then kissed Doris saying, "I'm green with envy, darling."
At this they all roared with laughter except Betty, who said, "Cynthia, will you let me be your priestess also?"
"No, my dear, I hardly feel up to it tonight," said that lady, giving Betty another kiss. "But sometime I shall let you."
"That's a promise," said Betty, "I really want to do it. Then I shall have fully chastised myself. Not that I dislike what I just did," she added quickly, "it's just that when I have a man all aroused and then not...."
Here she blushed furiously and stopped, and everybody laughed.
* * *
"Gerald what time is it?" asked Doris, from the Mentor's couch.
Gerald consulted his watch.
"Eight-thirty," he said.
"What time are you to meet Miss Durand and Mr. Rollamore?" asked Doris.
"Nine o'clock, my dear," he replied.
"Did you mention nine o'clock in both the letters?"
"Yes."
"Then you and the doctor will both have to go. Have you the addresses here?"
Gerald fished in his pocket and brought out two slips, one of which he handed to the doctor.
"I guess we'd better start now," he said.
The doctor agreed to this, and they went out.
"I say," said Cynthia to Doris when they had gone "What's up?"
"Come over here to the couch, all of you," said Doris, leading the way, "and I'll tell you all about it."
When they were seated she said, "The other night Gerald and I tried to think of some way to get new members. He mentioned Miss Nancy Durand, a young lady he met at a dance some time ago and who works in the office across from him, and a Mr. Henry Rollamore, a fellow bond salesman whom he has been friends with for some time. He thought they would make good members although he was a little doubtful of Miss Durand, except that he said she was very charming and would find favor with all of us. We were at a loss how to proceed until some time later when Gerald mentioned it to the doctor, he suggested writing them anonymous notes, asking them if they wanted to have an adventure. If they did they were to stand on a certain corner at a certain time. A closed car with the windows curtained would stop for them, and without a word they were to get in and say nothing. We are to meet them at the back when they arrive, and before they can get out and see where they are, we are to enter the cars and bind a cloth around their eyes and lead them in here."
"What's to prevent them from looking out between the curtains and watching where they are going?" asked Al.
"That's all fixed," replied Doris. "Both the doctor and Gerald had metal sheets placed over the windows, inside the curtains so that they can't be seen from the outside. They couldn't look out."
"But," said Cynthia, "they'll see the doctor and Gerald when they get in."
"Absolutely not," said Doris. "Gerald and the doctor will be masked and will say nothing, and furthermore once they are in the doors of the car will be locked and a devious route taken on the return trip here so that they cannot follow the route mentally."
"What if they are seen by an officer," said Al. "That too is all arranged for," laughed Doris. "In the first place deserted corners with little light have been chosen, and if there is anyone near at all the cars will go on around the block a few times until the coast is clear."
They all agreed that it was a good idea, but Betty said, "When will they be back?" and before Doris could answer her question she continued, "Surely they will see us when we get in here and maybe recognize us later on the street if they do not want to take the oath."
"Never fear," laughed Doris, "there are masks a plenty for everybody, and nobody will see anybody until they have decided to join the club."
"Let's get ready now," said Cynthia.
"That's a good idea," said Doris. "Come on." There was a bustle and a scurrying around to get everything in readiness. Betty placed some wine and eight glasses on the side table. Doris got the masks out and fitted each one up. Cynthia and Al made some sandwiches and got the coffee ready and cut the cake.
"I say," said Cynthia, "how shall we dress, if at all?"
Everyone laughed at this. Doris said that she would wear only slippers and a mask. Betty said she would wear slippers, stockings, black lace undies and her mask. Cynthia said she wouldn't dress at all. Al was undecided until the girls thought that he should best wear nothing, because added Doris, "Gerald and the doctor will undress after the doctor has examined both of them."
They spent some moments getting everything in readiness and had seated themselves to talk when a short blast from a horn was heard from a car coming along the drive beside the apartment.
"Quick!" said Doris and then. "My God we can't go out there this way. Get something on! Hurry!" and she dashed into the dressing room.
There was a mad scurrying, and soon everyone had something to cover themselves with. Poor Al had forgotten in the melee where he had left his trousers, and as a last resort grabbed the big couch cover from the center couch. It was fully fifteen feet square and he was struggling madly with about an acre too much shawl, trying to get it all wrapped around him and climb the back stairs at the same time.
Arriving outside he was in time to see Doris enter the Doctor's car and a moment later come out leading a tall girl with a blindfold around her eyes. When she touched the ground, she tried to raise the blindfold but was prevented by Cynthia.
"No fair peeking," she said gently, putting her arm around the stranger.
Evidently this reassurance was all that was needed for the captive, led by the hand of Doris and urged along by Cynthia's kindly embrace, entered the back door.
"Careful of these steps," cautioned Doris.
"Righto," came a throaty reply.
The doctor put his car away, and soon all of them were assembled in the main room.
"Bring her over to my office," said the doctor to Doris.
"Oh, not yet," protested Doris. "Wait until the other one gets here and they have both heard the constitution read. Poor dear, she doesn't know yet what it is all about. It would hardly be fair to rush her."
They all agreed that this was best. Betty poured a glass of wine and brought it over to the newcomer.
"Here my dear, drink this, it's proof of our hospitality and proof of our kindly intentions. Besides its awfully good."
Miss Durand, beneath her blindfold, smiled charmingly and accepted the drink.
"Damned sporting," was Al's verdict.
"What are you?" said the blindfolded one when she had finished the wine. "Bolshevists, anarchists or just a bank-robbing gang?"
Everyone laughed at this, and Cynthia said, "Much worse than any of those, my dear. We're a Voodoo cult, and we make human sacrifices every new moon."
Here everybody roared, and even the newcomer was well aware by the kindly feelings all around that she was being kidded.
"I'm awfully curious, you know. In fact it was my curiosity which drove me to stand on that corner tonight," said Miss Durand. "Whoever wrote me that note is a psychologist and no mistake. Up until an hour before time to meet the car, I was fully determined not to come."
Here a second toot was heard, and Doris and Cynthia rushed out to meet Gerald. Betty said, "Miss Durand, you are not the only stranger we are entertaining tonight. Besides it is just possible that you would not like us to see your features when you take the blindfold off, so if you will turn your back to the light here, I will loosen your blindfold and give you a mask in its place." This was soon accomplished, Miss Durand taking off her hat in the meantime. When she did look around she gave a gasp to perceive three practically naked women and one naked man before her. She covered her eyes.
"Oh I'm sorry," said Betty. "I never thought of that. But come, don't let it shock you," and she placed an arm around the fair stranger who was now perceived to have hair as black as a raven's wing and skin that showed white and pale by contrast.
With a little laugh the newcomer turned around again and evidently she took an interest in what she saw, especially Al, who blushed furiously when his weapon started to stand and turned away, busying himself with replacing the couch cover.
Betty removed her coat and took it into the dressing room.
At this juncture Gerald, Doris, and Cynthia came in.
"Ran out on me, by jove," and threw off his coat.
"How's that?" asked the doctor.
"Well," said Gerald, "I drove up and there he was. I stopped and he started to get in, took one look inside and ran."
Everybody laughed at this and Gerald continued, "Boy, won't I razz him when I tell him it was me next time I see him?" and then, "Greetings, fair stranger," to Miss Durand. She smiled and said:
"It's all very mysterious, and I've had no end of thrills already, but I sincerely hope that you are going to enlighten me as to what it is all about very soon."
"At once, at once," said Gerald.
Doris took her seat, or rather couch, on the Mentor's dais. Betty led Miss Durand over to a settee. The rest seated themselves on the center couch, all, but the doctor and Gerald, who disappeared for a moment in the direction of the dressing room and brought a gasp from the newcomer as they appeared in only masks and smiles.
Gerald took his seat and after a pause said, "Miss Durand, we will now explain the meaning behind the adventure promised you in the letter that I wrote to you. We have formed a club. I am going to read you the constitution. After I am finished you may ask as many questions as you like, and we will explain everything. If you wish, you may join us. If you should not care to join, you will be taken home in exactly the same manner in which you arrived, and although we know your name, you know none of us, and you will not be mentioned again by any member of the club. So you see, you are perfectly safe both with regards to your person and your reputation.
"Thank you," said Miss Durand. She had been eyeing the men around the room from behind her mask and although somewhat shocked and a good deal startled, she was feminine enough to be very curious and not a little excited about it.
Gerald started in to read the constitution, and all was quiet until he had finished.
"Have you any questions, Miss Durand?" he asked.
She sat silent for some moments and then said, "Why must one pledge fidelity and secrecy?"
"Because," said Gerald, "fidelity is necessary to prevent any kind of venereal taint from coming into the club. Because of the rigid physical examination, fidelity insures once and for all that none shall run any danger from infection. Not that any one is liable to pick something up like that, but we cannot be too careful. Secrecy is necessary for reasons which have to do with the law and public condemnation."
The newcomer sat silent for a long time, evidently weighing everything in her own mind.
"Suppose there should be some man whom I did not like, would I be forced to...." she stopped in confusion.
"Absolutely not," said Gerald. "We hope, however, that you will find none such, just as we hope that we will all like you because a unanimous vote is necessary to make you a member. We all here have enjoyed each other, as far as that goes, but rest assured that if you do become a member, no one here will step beyond the limits of gentlemanly conduct at any time "
She thought some more and said, "Will the cut necessary to draw the blood for signing the constitution hurt very much?"
"A little bit," said Gerald. "The pain will help to impress upon you the weight of the step you take."
"I want to join," she said.
"Fine," said Gerald.
"Good," said the doctor.
"Wonderful," said Al.
All the girls laughed, and even the masked stranger smiled at this show of enthusiasm on the part of the gentlemen members.
"Ladies and gentlemen," said Doris, "remove your masks. Betty will you remove Miss Durand's blindfold?"
Betty complied with alacrity. There was a gasp of amazement from all but Gerald, for Miss Durand's eyes were startlingly blue, a deep blue like a lake on a summer day.
"I told you, you'd like her," said Gerald proudly. "She's my find."
"Good evening, Mr. Moore," said Miss Durand. "Perhaps it will startle you if I say that I recognized you by your voice as soon as you started to read the constitution."
"Good Lord," said that gentleman. "We'll have to guard against that in the future."
All the girls had crowded around Miss Durand and introductions were in order. Each of the girls gave her a kiss, and the gentlemen looked as if they would like to do so also.
"Come," said the Doctor, "come with me, my dear," and he led Nancy to one of the little curtained rooms which he had fixed up and which he called his "office."
After Nancy had gone to take her examination Betty said, "What if she isn't accepted? Then what?"
"Well, what?" said Al.
"Why," said Betty, "she knows us all, and if she doesn't pass, she can't join and can't take the oath."
"That's true," said Cynthia. "I hadn't thought of that."
"Oh she'll pass all right," said Doris brightly. She was quite correct, for in a very few moments the doctor came out leading his charge with a smile on his face. He motioned to Doris.
Doris went over to him and later called Betty and Cynthia. All the girls went into the dressing room, and the doctor came over to where the men were seated.
"By all the gods," he cried, "she's a virgin."
"Aw, what are you giving us?" said Gerald.
There was general disbelief but the doctor said, "Believe it or not, she's a virgin."
* * *
"What do you girls use to ... prevent any ... to protect ... to?" stuttered Nancy.
"Now my dear," said Doris putting her arms around Nancy, "don't be so shy. We all use pessaries except Betty."
Nancy looked her question at the odd member, and Betty blushed prettily, "Shh," she said, "it's a secret."
All the girls laughed.
When they had disrobed the fair Nancy, leaving her only in her undies and her stockings and slippers, which she begged to be allowed to keep, they led her back into the main room.
There were cries of delight from the men, for Nancy was tall and slender. Each curve of her body was smooth and harmonious. She was exquisitely proportioned, and most of all she carried herself like a queen for all her evident embarrassment.
Doris stood Nancy before the dais and took her seat.
Gerald read the oath, and the doctor officiated at the signing of the constitution.
"I give you my promise that I will move over to this apartment tomorrow," said Nancy.
Everybody came over to her and gave her a kiss of welcome.
"Perhaps," said Nancy, "you are wondering a little at me and my diffidence among you. If the doctor wants to tell you my secret, I will tell you why I joined."
"She's a virgin," said that gentleman bluntly.
It was the girls' time to be amazed and with much pleasant chattering, kissing, squeezes and questions, they besieged Nancy.
"I have," continued Nancy, when she could speak again, "become absolutely disgusted with men in the past, at the same time longing, like most girls, for love and affection. The men I have known have disgusted me to such a point that I have often felt the vague fear of becoming a spinster. That, however, has never satisfied the inner urge which I have often felt and now intend to gratify since I have found so genial a company with such high ideals."
This was greeted' with solemn approval and Cynthia said, "We will all try to make you happy here, and you will find nothing to offend you, no selfishness, no jealousy, and no thoughtless passion that allows a girl to go unprotected."
"I think, in view of the fact that Nancy is a novice," said the doctor, "that we do not initiate her in the usual manner."
"What would you suggest?" asked Doris.
"Let's just let matters take their own course." All agreed that this would be the best way. "Let's have some coffee," said Gerald.
"Happy thought," said Al, and they all trooped out to the kitchen, Gerald bringing Nancy in tow.
A little later when they had finished their coffee and sandwiches and had had another drink of wine, all the members returned to the main room in high spirits. Their first effort to gain an outsider for a member and one who was almost unknown to them had been rewarded with success, and they were well pleased with their new acquisition.
Cynthia and the doctor had taken a settee and the doctor had turned down the lights to just a dim radiance, brightest on the couch which was directly under the lights.
Doris, Nancy and Gerald had taken another settee, opposite from the doctor and Cynthia.
Betty was reclining her naked length on the couch, stretching voluptuously.
"What a picture she makes," said Nancy.
"She's a darling girl," said Doris.
"Has a technique all her own," whispered Gerald.
"You rascal," said Doris, "how about me?"
Gerald smiled over to her, "You're my own special sweetheart."
"Whatever are you two talking about?" asked Nancy.
Before either could answer the doctor said:
"Where the devil is Al? I'll bet he is back in the storeroom again."
Betty said that that was just possible and went to fetch him. She returned with him a moment later and said. "He's got some kind of a secret back there, and he wouldn't tell me what it was, wouldn't even let me see inside the storeroom door."
I'll
"What's the secrecy about AT?" asked Cynthia.
"Now little children," said Al in mock severity, "just be patient, and papa will tell you what became of the fairy princess."
And that was all that he would say.
Betty drew Al down beside her and put her arms around him. They soon snuggled down together on the couch kissing and cooing to each other like a couple of doves. Indeed their soft murmurs sounded for all the world like doves softly talking to each other since what they said was indistinguishable.
Nancy was an interested spectator of all this and seemed both desirous and afraid of seeing something.
"I'm awfully green," she confessed, "but I've resolved to end all of that," and she gave an embarrassed little laugh.
Gerald put his arm around her, and Doris gave her a reassuring kiss.
She seemed to like their caresses and relaxed quietly, keeping her eyes on Betty and Al.
Betty and Al were not long in going into action, and Nancy gave a startled gasp when she saw Betty bend her pretty head down between Al's legs and give his cock a kiss.
From here on Nancy could not get her eyes off of Betty and Al. They went into action with a vengeance, all unconsciously putting on a very good show for her benefit.
Gerald put his arm around her and drew her to him, kissing her cheek. She suffered his kiss quietly but did not turn her head, although she did give his hand a little squeeze.
Doris gave Gerald a knowing nod and pulled Nancy over to where she drew her head down to her shoulder making it necessary for Nancy to sink still lower on the settee.
Gerald leaned over her and kissed her breasts, and she gave a little sigh and hugged his head to her bosom.
At this point Gerald knelt before her and while Doris stroked her hair and whispered to her, Gerald started kissing her legs.
Betty had Al going strong, and he was doing his best to hold still but was failing in the attempt. Betty, with her arms beneath Al's bottom was pressing her pretty mouth down on him and moving back and forth rapidly.
Nancy was all eyes and although she vaguely knew that Gerald was taking awful liberties with her pretty legs, still she was too much enamored of the scene before her and Doris' soft comfort to give him much heed.
Gerald, in the process of caressing and pressing her legs, and kissing the soft white skin along the inside of her dainty thighs had arrived at the point where he felt that a direct attack on the citadel of Nancy's charms would, in the very near future, be unavoidable.
With a gently exploring tongue he sought for the little clitoris. Knowing fingers aided the search and he soon came upon it. Opening his lips he pressed his mouth down on it, giving it a gentle suction.
Nancy gave a little gasp of surprise and jerked as though she would protest, but Doris held her back and Gerald put his arms around her hips and pressed his mouth to her love nest harder still, tickling her with a rapidly moving tongue.
He opened the lips wider still and explored each delicate fold much to the surprised delight of Nancy who could not help but give vent to little "ohs" and "ahs" and raise her bottom up in quick little jerks every now and then.
She could not take her eyes off of Betty, however, who had now locked her limbs around Al's and was putting her whole heart into the work.
"Oh, my God, oh my God," wailed Nancy, and she tried to watch Betty, kiss Doris and pet Gerald's head all at the same time. Such disorder was hers, however, that she was able to do none of these things completely. Her hands fluttered here and there, first to her breasts and then to Doris and then back to Gerald's head where they hovered a moment undecided whether to give a caress, interrupt the process entirely or let well enough alone.
Evidently she came to the latter conclusion for she started pulling her little lacy skirt up in jerky movements, all unconscious on her part, for she was watching Betty put the finishing touches on Al's something which that gentleman announced to the whole room by a shuddering groan.
Gerald took his arms from behind Nancy's bottom and picked both her feet up, raising her knees and spreading them well apart.
From here on Nancy, however, as odd as it must have struck her, was sold on the process into which Sir Gerald was initiating her, for she clutched Doris to her with all her strength.
Doris caught the doctor's eye and beckoned to him. He and Cynthia came, and Doris said to Gerald:
"Let's put her on the couch."
This was no sooner said than done, and the four of them lifted her up and placed her beside Betty and Al who sat up a moment later to see what was going on.
Gerald placed himself below Nancy again and stopped the soft complaints which she had been making ever since he left off kissing her little love spot to help carry her.
Doris reached her hand under Nancy and unclasped the fastener that held her butterfly, which she removed. She motioned to the doctor and he, nothing loath to desecrate such beautiful virgin charms, upswelling and begging to be kissed, proceeded at once to cover them with kisses, biting gently the pink little nipples.
Nancy's hand started fluttering again, and they fluttered aimlessly over the doctor's head and shoulders seeking the meaning of this new attack in such an unexpected quarter.
Here Doris motioned to Al and he, turning half around placed an arm under her neck and started kissing her partly opened lips.
All this was much too much for one of Nancy's tender knowledge and experience, and she kept bucking up and down in short jerks nearly dislodging Gerald who had to put his hands under her bottom to keep his place.
"Oh ... oh ... oh...." wailed Nancy opening her startlingly blue eyes.
She saw Al, and with the tenderest of looks she encircled his neck with her arms and drew his head down to her.
Quite out of herself now with the intolerable pleasure she was undergoing, she bit Al's lips and that young man immediately opened his lips and coaxed her tongue into his mouth where he sucked it in ecstasy.
Nancy's bucking became quicker and unexpressed cries, stifled by Al's kiss, gurgled in her throat. She raised her knees up and squeezed Gerald's head, and with her face drawn into an expression of pain and agony gave down her first tribute to the altar of passion. As soon as labored breathing had slowed a little bit, she burst into a storm of tears, sobbing as though her heart would break.
The doctor chuckled, "The best medicine she's had since her mother gave her sulphur and molasses."
Doris immediately cradled her head in her lap and sought to comfort the weeping girl.
The doctor, wiser in nervous reaction than the rest, noted Gerald's stiffly standing cock and motioned to him to get over Nancy, while he dashed to his "office" and returned with a tube in his hand.
Uncapping it, he squeezed some of it into Gerald's hand and told him to anoint himself while he performed the same office for the sobbing Nancy.
Braced on knees and hands Gerald started to storm that last line of defense and Betty, wishing to aid him put one hand on his weapon to guide it, parting the lips of Nancy's love nest with the other.
As the first knowledge of this invasion reached Nancy, Gerald arrived at the barrier and moving back and forth a little to make sure that all was right for the final plunge gathered Nancy tightly in his arms, putting one hand low down underneath her waist and holding her firmly.
When he had settled himself properly, he advanced until he had again reached the barrier and pressed firmly against it, then with a quick thrust he penetrated into her very vitals.
Nancy opened her mouth as though she was going to scream and then shut it suddenly closing her eyes.
Gerald lay quietly on her bosom for a moment, and Nancy opened her eyes again. Then she smiled.
Everybody was elated at this, and all the girls had to give her a kiss to express their solicitude and delight.
Nancy received these caresses with tears glistening in her eyes, tears of appreciation, tears of gratitude, and maybe just a little moisture on behalf of the exquisite pleasure she had just received.
"And now," she said, "and now I am going to have a man." There was wonderment and joy in her eyes and in the throb of her voice. She pulled Gerald's head down to her and gave him a kiss which if it said anything, said to proceed at once.
The honorable Mr. Moore needed no second invitation because the tight stricture which held his throbbing member had already given him a certain quiet pleasure, and he was longing to begin the fray.
To lubricate the passage well, make easy the wav and also to accustom her to his motion, Gerald stroked her gently and received the response of having his fair opponent raise her knees and spread them as wide apart as she could.
At first Nancy's responses were limited to gentle sighs of grateful delight, but as Gerald increased the stroke and cadence, she began to meet his thrusts with nicely timed heaves from her adorable bottom which had the tendency to make his spear sink to its very limit within her.
Both she and Gerald were too much aroused to allow for dalliance, and they soon were struggling in fond disorder, he groaning every now and then and she covering his face with kisses and giving vent to little cries of delight.
A convulsive shudder on her part warned the onlookers that the end was near. When they saw Gerald thrust in strongly and hold still, and Nancy hungrily seek his mouth with her own, they knew that Nancy had been fully initiated.
When they had subsided a little, Gerald started to withdraw and Nancy cried out as though she had been struck, opening her eyes to their widest extent in anguished surprise. Then she immediately clasped his bottom with her legs forcing him to remain where he was. There was a look of offended pride on her face, and at an embarrassed smile from Gerald she chided him gently but firmly, "I shall never, never let you go. Never!" she finished with emphasis. She put her arms around his neck and held him tightly and closed her eyes with a sigh of bliss.
The onlookers were overjoyed at this little tableau, and they were gratified still more when they saw Nancy's bottom begin to twitch from side to side spasmodically.
But little of this was necessary, for together with her soft kisses the ever-ambitious Mr. Moore was inspired. Soon all beheld him start once more on that beloved journey where the scenery increases in beauty and splendor with each traveled mile.
The two on the couch seemed to be able to find their way along this well-worn trail without a guide, for Gerald was soon rushing in and out for all he was worth, laboring as though he had to finish the job in record time. Nancy seemed entirely out of herself, and indeed she said later that she had no clear record of all the happenings, but the girls told her that each time Gerald thrust into her she gave a glad little cry, and each time he withdrew she wailed plaintively in a most amusing fashion.
This was too much for the rest of the company to bear without protest. When Gerald and Nancy had again subsided and could think clear enough to see and hear, they beheld Al entwined in the arms and legs of Doris and the doctor making Cynthia cry out, "Now, dear, now," as she sucked his lips and went into the ecstatic shudder at the end.
No sooner were they finished than Doris could be heard pleading with Al not to delay another instant, and all who watched could see that he hurried.
When they were all finished, they came back to
Nancy and Gerald. Nancy again had her legs around Gerald's bottom and her arms around his neck, and although she looked around and acknowledged the congratulations of the rest, she would not relinquish her hold. She seemed very determined about it. Poor girl, she had put off fulfilling her mission in life so long that now, when she saw her way clear to accomplish it, she intended to allow only for the necessary, recuperative intermissions but would prevent any entire withdrawals if possible.
All the girls' coaxing was of no avail and soon everyone was howling with mirth at Nancy's solemn determination to keep Gerald where he was.
The laughing turned into hysterics when Nancy put on an injured air because she thought they were laughing at her unjustly, and even Gerald could not repress a silent amusement that caused his shoulders to twitch.
When everyone had subsided the doctor came over to where she was and in his best professional manner proceeded to harangue her as follows:
"My dear Miss Durand. As you well know, it is impossible for Mr. Moore to remain where he is because he has to work every day. In fact he is invaluable to his employer, and I am sure that you would not want him to lose his position and the firm he works for to fail without his skillful assistance."
Nancy pondered this seriously until the rest could no longer restrain their mirth, and she began to realize that she was being spoofed.
"Besides," continued the doctor sincerely, "you have had enough for a while, and you must come and let me bathe you and fix you up so that you will be in no danger of conceiving, and so that you will not be sore and chafed there tomorrow from the unusual friction."
Nancy decided that he was serious when he talked in this manner, and after some thought on the matter she looked back at Gerald.
"If I let you go will you promise me that you will love me this way every night from now on?"
Gerald solemnly promised that nothing would give him greater delight, and when they had sealed their agreement with a kiss, she uncrossed her ankles to free him.
When he started to withdraw though, she complained continually, seemingly unable to part with him. When at last the head of it slipped out, she gave a little disappointed sigh as though she had lost the last friend in the world.
This provoked more mirth and the doctor led Nancy away with an injured pout on her pretty lips like a little girl who had been deprived of an all day sucker until after mealtime.
"Isn't she the quaintest thing?" laughed Cynthia.
"She's a darling," said Betty. "To know her is to love her."
"I'm sure we all do that," said Doris with a smile, "however," she added, "we must see to it that someone else has her next time, or else she is liable to take an undue liking to Gerald and have nothing to do with the rest."
"I'll say so," said Al.
* * *
Tap, tap, tap.
Tap, tap, tap.
Betty turned over in her bed and sighed. She thought, "I wonder who it could be at this time of night."
Tap, tap, tap.
She switched on the light above her bed and thrust a pink foot beneath the covers.
Tap, tap, tap.
With an impatient gesture she slipped into a dressing gown and went to the door. She unlatched it and pulled it open.
"Oh, you darling," said a male voice, and she was enveloped in a pair of strong arms, and hot lips sought her own and clung there.
"Why Al, whatever-"
"Shhh," he said, closing the door, "let me talk to you a while, will you?" and without waiting for an answer he slipped an arm around her waist and led her back to the bed.
Very unceremoniously he helped her out of her dressing gown and made her get back in bed. "You'll get cold," was his reason.
"But Al-"
"Now honey, I just had to see you. Don't make any buts," he pleaded.
Betty was too genuinely glad to see him to ask for many excuses for his late call, and with a smile she drew him to her and gave him a kiss.
"Oh, honey," he cried, "I ... T " and he gathered her dose to him covering her face with kisses. He stroked her hair and putting his head down a little, kissed each one of her hands with ritualistic dignity.
"Why Al," said Betty, "what is it, sweetheart?" and she pressed his head close to her bosom for a long moment.
"Betty ... I, well, you see ... that is," he stammered and then, "Oh, my very own, dear, I love you, I love you, I love you." He took her face between his hands and looked longingly into her eyes.
Betty returned his gaze squarely for a moment and then she said simply, "And I love you, my dear." With a glad little cry he crushed her head to him, and their lips clung for a long moment.
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm so glad, so glad," he said. "I couldn't sleep for thinking about you. It isn't that I want you to swear that you will have only me when we're downstairs; it isn't that. It's just that I love you so much, and I had to tell you. Had to see you and hold you in my arms. I don't want to go back on the club and we needn't if you don't want to ... but ... but would you marry me?" he finished hopefully.
"Oh my dear, my dear," said Betty kissing him again, "of course."
For some moments they were too much occupied with looking at each other and embracing to speak, then Al said, "Betty, I don't want it to make any difference with the club, because I'm sure we both believe in it as a principle, but I love you so much that I simply must."
"Yes, I know dear," Betty interrupted, "but won't you feel like all husbands, that you have acquired title, right and possession, when you have married me?"
"I have thought of that, sweetheart," he answered, "and I believe that I am above such an old-fashioned jealousy. It's your heart that I want for my very own, for as long as you wish to give it to me and no longer. Your adorable body will suffer nothing by sharing it with others whom you like and you will be robbing me of nothing."
"You darling," said Betty, "if I cannot feel as big a love for you then I am unworthy of your regard. If you wish, we can be married at once. There is only one thing I want to say beforehand. I have some money, enough, and I make a little from time to time, and I insist that our expenses be fifty-fifty and that I be allowed to buy my own clothes."
"Is that necessary?" said Al in a somewhat in lured tone.
"Absolutely, my dear," said Betty, "money is the stumbling block on which the sense of possession is built. When one furnishes all the money, then one gets to thinking that he or she owns the other."
"Very well, my dear," agreed Al, "have it that way, if you will, only it isn't the least bit necessary."
"It's very necessary," said Betty, "if not to your pocketbook, then to our happiness."
With a little gesture of invitation Betty invited Al into the bed with her and throwing off his bathrobe, he was soon under the covers holding her body close to his own. They talked of their joint affairs for some time in low tones, going over each and every detail. This conversation was generously interspersed with kisses and Betty, with her arms around Al's neck, had pressed her body as close to his as she could get.
Such innocent actions could not go on forever, and when Betty felt a hard something pressing against her thigh, she upset the calculations Al was making for their honeymoon, by opening the buttons of his pajamas and grasping the disturber of the peace by his rosy head.
"Hey, how come?" said Al in surprise, for he had been too engrossed in what he was saying to notice the turn of affairs.
Betty stopped his mouth with a kiss.
Betty's hand was nothing if it was not tantalizing in its expert manipulations, and she soon had Al crying for mercy.
Throwing the covers back he got up and in an instant had divested himself of his pajamas and leaning over started to pull off Betty's night gown. By helping him Betty allowed him to be successful in this highly desirable enterprise, and when she lay before him naked and glowing, he threw himself upon her with a little cry of delight, kissing her breasts, her belly and thighs.
Betty suffered him freedom for some moments but could not resist grasping his weapon in her ever caressing fingers and squeezing it a little. There was nothing Betty liked to hold in her hand better than such an object, and she eyed it fondly, pursing her lips at it invitingly.
Finally Al spread her thighs apart and would have got between them, but Betty stopped him.
"I'm afraid I can't do that, my dear."
"Why?" asked Al bluntly.
"Well, you see, I never feel any desire there. I'm not a virgin, however. My uncle raped me when I was fifteen, and I guess the affair shocked me so that since that time I seem to be, well, just absolutely cold there."
"Oh my sweet, I'm so sorry," said Al, all contrition. "I wish now I hadn't asked."
"That's all right my dear. I have no secrets from you," she replied.
They fell to caressing again, and soon Betty was over him kissing his upstanding evidence of manly vigor.
Al was so charmed with the view he had of her bottom that he encircled a smooth thigh and drew her towards him. She continued what she was doing without a pause, for when Betty got a stiff cock in her hands she concentrated on what she was doing.
Al's kisses wandered over her hips, and his fingers sought out that center of man's desire.
Al was too much elated by Betty's declaration of love for him, and too much filled with happiness at his success, to follow any usual procedure and he sought to express his passion for this beautiful creature whom he adored and to return to her some of the exquisite sensations she was giving him.
Finding that he could not see the little cleft into which he had wormed an inquisitive finger, he grasped her by one knee and lifting her leg over his head, placed himself directly beneath the pouting mouth which he could now see quite well because he had his head towards the low lamp, attached to the head of the bed.
An undisturbed view of Betty's delightful posteriors at such close range seduced Al entirely and forgetting that he had never done such a thing before, he kissed the soft thighs until he had arrived at the center of attraction. Quite out of himself by the maddening pleasure Betty's restless tongue gave him, he bestowed a hot kiss where it would do the most good.
The effect on Betty was electrical.
"Oh Al, my dear, my dear," and turning herself around quickly she threw her body on Al's and kissed him repeatedly. "It must be because I love you so much, but I want you there too now, all of a sudden like. Oh, my dear, my dear," she repeated over and over again, quite unable to do anything else in her startled surprise.
"Sweetheart."
"Yes, dear."
"Turn back the way you were. I have also discovered something new, something so sweet that I can't wait to kiss it again."
With a parting kiss Betty returned to her former position and when Al had again got her legs astride of his head so he could support her weight on her knees, drawn up under her, he proceeded to unfold the mysteries laid before him by exploring each fold with his tongue. When he found the little clitoris throbbing with happiness, newly rediscovered, he covered it with open lips and let his tongue salute it repeatedly.
Betty's bottom twitched from side to side, and every now and then she stopped in her furious attack upon the defenseless cock to give a low moan.
Too wound up to continue long, Betty spread her knees farther apart to bring her nether mouth down closer to Al's hot kisses while she licked and tongued the delightful morsel which completely filled her mouth.
With a writhing motion of her spine and bottom she gave a low gurgle and gave down the tribute to Al's endeavors, and not a moment later Al groaned and deluged her throat with proof of his passion.
With a little cry of delight she turned around to him again and put her arms around his neck, "Oh my dear, my dear, now you shall fuck me properly. I want you, I long for you, I burn," and laying over on him she moved her bottom from side to side voluptuously while she kissed his lips, his eyes, and his forehead.
In her mad passion she stuck her tongue down his throat and wiggled as though she were spending.
Al was quite astonished at this outburst and delighted beyond measure by her new-found passion. Let her have her way with him.
Quitting his lips she kissed his breasts, his navel, his belly and then back to his spear which was just beginning to revive under this strenuous treatment its owner was receiving.
"Oh, you darling beauty," said Betty, kissing its smooth head repeatedly. "I love you, I love you." More kisses. "Oh, you sweet thing. You're my little Al, and now you are going to fuck me, aren't you?" and she perked her head to one side, questionably. Sir Cock jerked enthusiastically, and she kissed him again.
At this point Al raised up and twisting around put his head between her thighs and gave her a few kisses where she had lately enjoyed them so much.
Betty could not stand this and to get even took the object of her adoration between her lips and proceeded to caress him with her tongue.
Al was loath to quit his treasure spot once he had Betty fully aroused again, but desiring more than anything else to join bodies with her while looking into her face, he desisted and made her leave off in her preoccupied adorations of his cock.
Laying her back on the bed, he got over her, and Betty opened her legs invitingly, grasping his staff of love with both hands. By the time that Al had nicely settled himself with one arm around her neck and the other under her waist, Betty had started his charger along the race course and with her heels on his bottom was crushing him to her with all her strength.
Madness, inspired by their love for each other, enveloped them like a mist and they strained each other close. Al's thrusts were fairly well-timed with a gradually increasing cadence, but Betty, quite beyond sanity, threw her legs about one minute and locked them about his loins the next. Her hands wandered up and down his back. Her breath came in long, sobbing gasps. She gurgled in her throat and alternately bit his cheeks and neck and sucked his lips.
Nature, never intending such confusion to long endure, asserted herself, and with Al groaning and Betty sucking his tongue as though she had not another thought in the world, the two of them expired and lay sobbing for breath.
When Al did raise up, there was the sound of a cow pulling her foot out of the mud when their bellies separated, and inspection showed them to be drenched with perspiration.
Words fail to picture the tenderness with which they wiped each other, and the cuddly pose they struck when at last they lay down in each other's arms.
Sometime later Al thought that he had better see the doctor and tell him that he had broken part of his oath in having relations with Betty when she was not protected and to see what could be done. He felt sure of being forgiven.
Betty's sweet breath caressed his cheek fitfully and even in sleep, with her flushed face close to her lover's cheek, she clung to him with both aims.
The first fight of day illumined the room when Al finally let off adoring the sweet face so close to his own and turning out the light composed himself for sleep.
CHAPTER FOUR
"And now," announced Al, "if you will all be good children, papa will tell you a secret." Everyone consented to be "good," and Al disappeared in the back regions where he had been holding mysterious court for several weeks, answering all queries evasively and generally keeping his own counsel.
And as good as his word he returned a moment later holding a small cask with a faucet in it and set it on a chair. Another trip to the kitchen and he came back with a tray of glasses. He proceeded to fill them.
"What is it Al?" asked the doctor.
"Shhh," said Al. "Isn't anything sacred to you?"
A general laugh greeted this sally, and everyone started to question him at once.
This, however, was brought to a stop by Al himself, passing the tray around. The curious sought to gratify their curiosity.
Said Doris, "It's wonderful, Al. Where did you get it?"
"Yes Al, where did you get it?" said the doctor.
"I made it," announced that person proudly.
There was some disbelief, but they all knew that he had been fooling around the storeroom for some weeks and that he had kept a lock on it.
"It's the best fig wine I have ever tasted," said Olga, one of the new members.
"I'll say so," said Gerald.
"It's sure got a wallop," said the doctor.
"How did you keep it from being bitter?"
"By making it in a charred barrel and not stirring it," said Al.
"How did you get it so clear?" asked Nancy.
"That's the secret of secrets," said Al. "I ran it through a cream separator."
"A cream separator?" cried the doctor.
"Sure," affirmed Al, "by experimenting a little I got it regulated so that it would take out all the sediment and some of the water. That's why it's so strong."
"Well, I'm a chinaman," said the doctor laughing.
"Yeah, and I'm the Prince of Wales," said Gerald openly doubtful.
"Young man," said Al with mock severity, "papa will teach you not to be so disrespectful of your elders. Come out to the woodshed, Sir." And he grasped Gerald by one ear and led him back to the storeroom.
They both returned laughing a moment later, and Gerald said, "It's the truth all right. He's not only got a cream separator but a completely equipped still as well, and if I am not mistaken, I got the odor of mash."
Everybody wanted to know at once when it would be ready.
Doris rose, "Ladies and gentlemen of the club, I am opening nominations for the newly created office of Purveyor of Beverages and Keeper of the Vineyard."
"We want Al," said the doctor.
"We want Al; we want Al; we want Al," shouted everybody.
"Mr. Secretary," said Doris to Gerald, "will you kindly record on the minutes of this meeting the unanimous election of Mr. Albert Grey to the aforesaid office?"
This was done amid much complimenting of Al and much returning to his cask of wine.
The doctor had vanished and returned a moment later from the kitchen. Standing Al up very straight before the rest of them, he spoke.
"Comrade-in-Arms, and legs, it is my duty and solemn privilege to accord to you the highest honor which lies within the power of our club to bestow. For skill and initiative in the line of service in the storeroom as well as the admirable manner in which you have repeatedly acquitted yourself on the firing line," pointing to the couch, "I present you with the medal of honor."
Here the doctor extricated from beneath his coat a tin lid from one of the pots, some six inches in diameter, and inserted the ring of the handle in Al's lapel. He placed a match through the ring to hold it in place.
Then taking Al's head between his hands, he solemnly kissed him on both cheeks.
By this time everyone was laughing and Cynthia, just able to keep a straight face and that was all, came over to Al and bending down removed her slipper and stripped off one of her stockings. This she proceeded to tie around Al's arm with the request, "Sir Knight, deign to wear my favor in the tournaments."
Al bowed stiffly from the hips.
"Gentle Sir," continued Cynthia, "I shall pray that you may be victorious," and she dropped him an absurd little courtesy.
"Fair lady," said Al bowing, "I shall be delighted to wear your favor, and I am sure it will be a bringer of good fortune. But what say you if I should propose first of all to joust with thee, giving thee several doughty blows with my trusty spear of which full many a maiden has had proof of my prowess in attack and retreat?"
Here Cynthia started laughing, and Al gathered her up in his arms and carried her to the couch. She was still laughing as he covered her breasts with kisses and ran an impudent hand under her dresses. Finding the center of her charms, he stilled the laughter which subsided to gentle sighing and soon the company gathered there was gratified by seeing them unite their bodies in the good old-fashioned way. Ere long the brave knight had completely unhorsed his opponent, who, too brave to cry for mercy before the fatal thrust, took her wounds in silence and went to her sweet death with the knight proudly holding himself in the saddle.
The club had grown steadily and now numbered twelve in all, six ladies and six gentlemen. Doris had said to Gerald only a day or so before, that if the club continued to grow at its present rate, some of the members would have to double up. Gerald had asked when he might move in with her, and she had demurely said, "Someday."
The novelty of the marriage of Betty and Al had worn off after those two had been duly wined and dined in celebration. At first there had been some diffidence on the part of the gentleman members in approaching Betty, but they soon learned that the marriage was not intended to impose a limit or restriction on either party. To all this the doctor opined that it was a case of true love. "For," he had said, "if it were only passion, marriage would not have been necessary or desirable."
Everyone let the matter go with this decision, and they cherished Al and Betty all the more for their broad-minded spirit.
A! had said, "Until Betty wants children, there shall be no restriction. When that time arrives we shall keep entirely to ourselves, both in preparation for conception and afterwards until such time as Betty wants to renew old acquaintances in the club."
There was general approval of this, and Gerald said to Doris, "Why won't you marry me, dear? You see that it will work. Look at Betty and Al."
"My dear," she had answered, "had I known you felt that way about it, I should have married you before, but now something else has come up."
All his entreaties to tell him what it was were of no avail, however, and he remained in the dark.
Nancy and Doris had been thick as thieves for several weeks, and Gerald wondered if that could have anything to do with it. Not seeing any connection, however, he dismissed the idea with a shrug.
Cynthia and Al arose from the lists of their late disorder, flushed and breathless.
Doris said, "Gerald, it's time to go after Mrs. Wardlaw."
"O.K., sweet," said Gerald. "See you later folks," he added as he went out.
"Doris," said Olga, "tell us about this Mrs.
Wardlaw. Doctor Weston wouldn't tell me about her when I asked him the other day."
"That's because he didn't want anything discussed until he was sure she was going to join," They all drew up settees to where Doris was sitting and grouped themselves around her. Besides the original six which had been in the club from the beginning there was Nancy, charming as always in her quiet composure. There was also some new members that had not been in more than three or four weeks, some not that long. Among these latter were Henry Rollamore who had been duly sworn in and much laughed at for his sudden change of mind the first time Gerald went after him. Also there was Olga Maylan, tiny and dark in a vivacious way. Jim Kennedy, who though short and heavy set, was well-proportioned and for all his lack of dignity had found favor with more than one of the ladies. There was Marie Harley, a peroxide blonde if there ever was one. A rather cold person, until one had spent a good deal of time and effort to arouse her, seemed to be the consensus of opinion among the gentlemen members. There was Ralph Garrison, youngest member of the club who had been initiated only two weeks previous.
"Well," said Doris, "there isn't much to say except that Mrs. Wardlaw is a patient of the doctor's who has been subject to various nervous disorders since her husband's leave taking of this world some time past."
"And," interrupted the doctor, "she's a damned charming woman despite the fact that she has a daughter sixteen years old. She has red hair and did have rather old-fashioned ideas about morality until I talked with her and told her that the only way to rid herself of her nerves was to fill in the things lacking in her love life. I'm damned tired, if you ask me," he continued, "of handing out bromides to women who need a little love and affection more than they need medicines."
They talked for some time discussing the various angles of such cases. Before they were through, they had brought in several volumes from the club library which the doctor kept in his "office" and were consulting them diligently when they were interrupted by the blast of Gerald's horn.
Quickly donning masks they hurried out to meet the newcomer.
They arrived just as Gerald got out of the car to come around and unlock the door of the back compartment.
Doris entered and soon came out leading a lady entirely blindfolded by Doris' scarf. Doris led her charge down into the main room, and the rest came trooping after her.
"My dear," Doris said to Mrs. Wardlaw, "if you will turn your back to me and to the rest of us here, I will remove your blindfold and give you a mask instead."
This was soon accomplished and the doctor advanced to greet her.
"There is no need of secrecy between us, my dear, since you are here at my advice. If you will stand here," he added, leading her to a position in front of the dais, "we will proceed at once to the reading of the constitution."
Mrs. Wardlaw asked no questions during the reading, but when Gerald had finished she asked: "If I have to live here, I shall find it necessary to bring my daughter with me. What will her status be and how will she be treated?"
"Your daughter, if she does not join the club, as I presume she will not," said Gerald, "will be considered a non-member and will be regarded as such by all concerned, as prescribed in this document which we have all sworn to uphold."
This seemed to impress her very favorably and after a moment's thought, she said, "I am ready to sign if you find me acceptable."
At this everyone took off their masks, and Doris helped Mrs. Wardlaw off with hers.
Everyone seemed to be very well impressed with the newcomer, and indeed she fulfilled the doctors specifications of charming.
Her hair was reddish bronze and her eyes the usual shade of blue that goes with such hair. She was a woman of thirty-five or thereabouts, but she did not seem a day over thirty, being in that prime of ripeness which comes to the well-rounded woman at that age. Of medium height she stood in a straight and stately fashion, but there was a gentle voluptuousness about her figure that lent an air of charm and grace to her Carriage. Her full bosom showed to advantage beneath the shimmering green of her beautiful evening gown, and the outline of plumply curving buttocks fell away to where dainty ankles in high-heeled slippers accentuated the adorable curve of her legs.
"My dear," said the doctor, "will you come with me a moment?"
The doctor and his charge were gone but a few moments when he returned leading her by the hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have verified for the club what I already partially knew from my practice, that Mrs. Wardlaw is ready to take the oath."
Here all the girls rushed to her and covered her with kisses and embraces of welcome. That lady, who flushing and smiling insisted on being called Dorothy, was so overwhelmed that tears came to her pretty eyes in appreciation of the genuineness of their greeting.
"My dears," she said, "I am happy to be one of you."
The gentlemen took their cue from the girls and did not wait for Dorothy to take the oath. They came over to Dorothy and shook hands very formally, but their eyes, in almost every instance held something more than good will. The lady in question, so besieged by numerous, bold glances, was in a fine state of confusion when introductions had been made all around.
The oath was soon administered and Dorothy, entering wholly into the spirit of its meaning, having been fully prepared by the doctor beforehand, requested that she might make the cut which would ooze the ink necessary for her signature. The doctor demurred at this telling her that he was afraid that she might cut unwisely. They all praised her courage but recommended that she let the doctor do the cutting. She acquiesced readily enough but placed her hand on the doctor's wrist and drew the scalpel towards her.
When the doctor had made the cut and filled the pen, she signed with a steady hand.
Not long afterward when they were all seated around on the center couch, Al proceeded to serve the entire company with plenty of wine, passing it amongst them again and again. Betty assisted him, and shortly everyone was in high spirits.
During the conversation Dorothy, in talking with first one gentleman and then another, had finally entered into an animated and extended conversation with Jim Kennedy. Jim, for his part, was doing everything in his power to make it possible for him to be first in the arms of Dorothy.
Even though the conversation was of a serious nature, pertaining to the intricacies of bridge, Dorothy did not go so far as to forget the fact that a very personable male was seated close to her on the settee, and every now and then would drop her eyes demurely before Jim's ardent gaze.
When they finally ceased talking enough to take notice of every one's disappearance, Dorothy said, "Why, where have they all gone."
"Oh, they're around someplace," said Jim, trying to hide a smile.
Dorothy saw the corners of his mouth twitch, and she felt intuitively that it would be unwise for her to pursue the subject, knowing full well that if she did he might tell her.
. Since the addition of so many new members, the ladies and gentlemen of the club had taken to using the little side rooms where couples often retired for a while, coming and going as they pleased throughout the evening. When all of the gentlemen had noticed Jim finding such favor with the beautiful Dorothy, whom they instinctively recognized as being very shy, for all her red hair, they gradually singled out partners for themselves and left the two on the couch to themselves, hoping that nature would take its course ere their return.
Gerald had been seated between Nancy and Doris, a position he seemed of late, to be occupying quite often, and even some of the older members of the club were afraid that Nancy was putting too much valuation on the desecrator of her maidenhead. It was evident to all that she showed him marked favor and always looked at him with the softest eyes imaginable. They were also afraid that some misunderstanding might creep in between Doris and Nancy over Gerald, and some had even thought of speaking to Nancy about it, but they had said nothing.
Gerald had had his arms around both girls, and they had been leaning their heads on his shoulders where it seemed both loved to snuggle down and put their noses in his neck. When Gerald saw that every one was gone but himself and the two girls, he decided also to leave Jim and Dorothy to their own devices, and taking Doris and Nancy he entered one of the little curtained rooms.
Jim had his arm back of Dorothy, trying to get up courage to give her a kiss, but he seemed afraid of rushing matters and like a true gentleman he waited until he should be sure of a welcome before he ventured further.
Now Dorothy knew the rest had gone. She also knew what they were doing, for just a moment before a soft groan had come from behind where some couple had ensconced themselves.
Dorothy gradually began to awaken to the fact for the first time in three years, she was to have a man between her legs, if she wanted one, and with the thought came the desire to press and hold a strong, plunging body with her thighs.
There must have been something of her thoughts in the look she gave Jim when next she raised her eyes to him, for he gazed a long moment and then clasping her in his arms, he rained kisses upon her upturned mouth. His eyes feasted upon her face, and when he was completely short of breath from the fury of his kisses, with which he covered her face and throat, he held her face between his hands and looked at her steadily. She opened her eyes.
"You wonderful, wonderful person," said Jim. "You're adorable; you're bewitching. I'm quite off my head about you."
Here he tenderly stroked her hair and fully converted to the charms of Jim, the fair Dorothy threw her arms around his neck and gave him kiss for kiss.
When they had subsided a little, Jim said, "My dear, this is your initiation night, and whether you know it or not, the club is yours for the evening."
"Dorothy," he continued suddenly, "stand up." She did as he bid her, and in a moment he had her dress off. Quite overcome by the picture she made in lacy underwear, stockings and slippers he knelt before her and imprinted a kiss on the very love center itself. Dorothy gave a half gasp and would have pulled him to his feet, but he placed his arms around her bottom and covered her thighs and belly with kisses. Then he turned her around and proceeded to do the same to her plump posteriors.
Dorothy evidently had a half-baked lover for a husband, a man with water in his veins, for this was something entirely new to her, and she was now too startled and pleased at the same time to quite know what to do. So she stood still.
Jim, when he had caressed her limbs a few times rose to her breasts. Here it seemed as though he was going to stay for the evening, judging by the time he spent over them. By the time he had finished, Dorothy was hanging on him rather limply.
Finally realizing that he had on too many clothes, he stopped and proceeded to throw off, haphazardly, everything he had on. Dorothy was an interested spectator to all this, endeavoring not to seem so, and when he dropped his shorts and stepped out of them she gave a tremulous little gasp at what she saw.
"Come, my sweet," said Jim, and placing an arm around her waist, he led her to one of the little rooms.
Jim pulled back the curtains and found it occupied and would have turned to leave, but Dorothy seemed rooted to the spot. Olga and Henry were just at the end of their run, and Olga was begging Henry to let her have it now, immediately, at once. When they had succeeded in agreeing upon whether she was to have it or not, Dorothy sighed and turned to Jim, throwing herself into his arms and presenting her lips to him.
After this little tableau, they proceeded to the next room. Jim gave a little disgusted shrug when he found it also occupied, but not Dorothy. She was all eyes and waited to watch Al and Betty. Good reason for her curiosity too because she had never even heard of such an occurrence, as her startled eyes told her was happening before her. It was none other than Betty and Al doing a sixty-nine. They seemed quite beside themselves, each one stopping every now and then to whisper some endearment to the other.
Again they tried another room, and as they walked along, Dorothy languorously allowing Jim to almost support her entire weight, Jim's exceptionally large staff of love was waving in front of him.
Dorothy, eyeing this formidable weapon fearlessly, clasped it in one hand and with this to comfort and urge her, she seemed to quicken her step.
Here too the room was occupied and without waiting to see who it was, and with a grunt of disgust at the delay, Jim picked up the fair Dorothy and carried her to the couch.
She was about to remonstrate at the amount of light when she gave another gasp of surprise. Lying back easily she had felt Jim open her legs wide apart and without looking expected momentarily to feel his welcome weight settling down on her breasts. Such was not the case, however, for Jim had his head between her thighs and without waiting for a "by your leave" or a gradual working up to the point, had plunged his tongue in among the floe of the delightful lips he found there and was exploring this new field diligently.
Dorothy raised herself up on her elbows and watched the top of his curly head with open eyed amazement, too surprised to utter a sound.
Jim, all unconscious of anything except the maddening desire to kiss this luscious woman a million times in a million places, sought and found the dainty little clitoris which assisted his search by inquisitively perking just the tip of is pink head out between the soft down that bordered the lips on either side. He licked and tongued it in an ecstasy of delight. He bit and sucked it, and Dorothy, too overcome to register amazement, relaxed with a quiver.
Ere long too she added other motions to his first proof of enjoyment and moving her adorable bottom from side to side. She kept murmuring over and over again, "Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God."
Quite maddened by the thought of the pleasure he was causing this lovely creature, Jim redoubled his efforts and with his arms encircling her thighs which he raised up to a level with his shoulders, he left no part of the sweet area before him without a due proportion of caresses.
With a final shudder Dorothy spent and without giving her time to recuperate, Jim crept over her and gathered her in his arms. When she had recovered her composure sufficiently to be aware of the change, Dorothy slid both her hands down to a hard something that was wandering aimlessly between her legs while its owner quite took her breath away by the fury of his kisses. Guiding it rightly he soon had it started in where it should go.
Jim groaned and pursued his advantage, and a moment later they both had the gratification of feeling his balls against her bottom. When she had it all in, she seemed to go into a fit; she shuddered; she writhed, her eyes turned upwards, her hands wandered over his back and her legs were never still a moment.
This first encounter was short, and they spent wildly, struggling like two drunken men trying to keep each other from falling.
Too wound up to let one climax dampen his ardour, Jim remained where he was, his tool losing none of its rigidity.
The fair lady beneath him seemed to realize his condition and begged him to go on.
By this time most of the members had strolled back in, and some were seated on the couch while others stood, all interested spectators to the delightful drama that was taking place.
Jim was thrusting in regular cadence, and every time he came down, she moved up to meet him with the most plaintive sighs imaginable.
"Oh sweetheart," cried Dorothy, "fuck me harder. Fuck me harder. Fuck me. Fuck me. Oh ... oh ... that's so good ... so ... good. Fuck me, darling, fuck me. Ram it into me. Oh ... I love it ... I love it."
She seemed a very talkative person once she got started, and at this pleading Jim went to work in earnest. It should also be recorded that nearly every cock around the couch stiffened.
"Oh ... ah ... oh ... ah," sobbed Dorothy, I ... I'm ... co ... co ... ming," and hugging Jim to her with all her force, she spent furiously. And a moment later she cried out as though in pain when his hot gush struck the mouth of her womb.
Jim, visibly shaken by this overmatch, rose from his place.
"Dorothy, my dear," said Doris, "are you all right?" for Dorothy had hardly moved since Jim had spent.
She opened her eyes and started to answer, but her eye fell on Gerald standing beside Dorothy. To be more exact, her eye fell upon something between his legs which was standing fully extended at an angle of about seventy degrees.
Blindly she reached for it and drew him down to her. She said later that she did not know who it was at the time.
Gerald, when guided into port by the dainty hands of his fair partner, fucked her with a rush, but she was as good as he and maybe better for she begged and pleaded for more.
She got it too. She seemed quite maddened by fiery flames that seemed to consume her. After she had beaten Gerald to the mark, she said as he rose:
"Who shall be next? Don't wait. I'm dying to be fucked. Fuck me quickly. Fuck me forever. Fuck me till I die," and with eyes alight she wiggled and writhed in anticipation of her next encounter. Nor was she kept waiting long for Henry and Al both started for her, but Henry was the closest and not seeing Al, gave heed to nothing but the imploring cries of Dorothy.
Words fail to describe this scene. The girls stood around wide-eyed and breathless, astonished at the fury of her passion. The gentlemen drawn by an attraction far beyond their power to resist waited impatiently their turn, and before the doctor called a halt everyone of them had had her once, and Jim had returned to give her a final ramming.
"Help me a bit," said the doctor to Henry, and the two of them carried her into his office.
At first she objected and tried every way to get her hands on their cocks. When finally she did get hold of Henry in this manner, she suffered herself to be composed on a couch where the doctor administered to her for some moments. When they had her quieted and Henry had gotten his cock loose from her twining fingers, he came out.
Everyone was standing around anxiously waiting the verdict when the doctor finally came out and he laughed at the anxious expressions on their faces, "Nothing to worry about folks," he said, "rather it's something to be happy about."
"How so?" gasped Gerald.
Everyone seemed incredulous that the doctor should take this view and patiently he explained, "She was raised by parents who were good church people and although particularly narrow-minded, they still conceived of sex as the stigma of the race and the one mistake of an otherwise Perfect God. Growing up in such an atmosphere she naturally absorbed some of the same ideals, and up until she married had never known a man. Her husband, as I found by questioning her when she came to me on the verge of a nervous breakdown a month ago, was a spineless sort of fellow, it seems, who rarely had any passion and then refused to take time to arouse his wife. She, under the influence of early training, did not know that she was supposed to get anything out of the act until I told her so a few days ago. How a woman could remain so ignorant of things as she was I don't know, but that's neither here nor there. She confessed to me that she had an ideal husband, so she thought, who rarely imposed upon her the irksome duty which the church explained as something she must bear with fortitude for the benefit of the race. It's disgusting I know," he said when he saw their faces, "but my offices are filled with such women. All that can be done is to try to give them an insight into things and get a hold of their husbands and try to knock some sense into their heads."
"With Dorothy here, I found not only a charming woman, but a ready mind. I loaned her some books. I told her the truth as to what was causing her nervous disorders. When she had seen a little light, I gradually broached the subject of the club. T had a hard time selling her on the idea, but I finally won her over. The rest you know. Her reaction tonight is that of a very passionate woman who has just found herself and who must blow off some of the pent-up forces. They were wrecking her system and starting her on the way to an early senility with irritability and general debility as her constant companions."
Everyone had listened attentively and no one spoke a word. They seemed much impressed by what the doctor had said, although they had studied often about such cases in the books of the club library, they had never seen the working out of an actual case such as this.
Their silence was almost ludicrous, and the doctor wishing to break the spell said, "And now Brother Moore, will you pass the offering basket?" There was general laughter at this, and the company returned to its usual bubbling spirit of camaraderie.
Not long after Doris and Nancy went in and brought Dorothy out. There was a restful langour that pervaded her whole being, noticeable to everyone. She passed slowly from one to the other, giving each a kiss. When she had so saluted everybody present she said, "Will you forgive me for making a spectacle of myself? I can't imagine what possessed me to act in such an unlady-like manner. If you wish to impose a punishment for violation of that part of my oath I assure you that I will be only too glad to receive it, for I feel that I must reinstate myself in your good graces."
"Rubbish," said the doctor.
"Why Dorothy, you were gorgeous, magnificent," said Doris, putting an arm across her shoulders.
"Don't feel that way," said Nancy. "We all love you all the more for what happened."
Dorothy silently looked around the circle of faces, smiling their good will and affection. Her lips quivered. She bent her head down and then started to sob as though her heart would break.
"My dear, it's all right," said Gerald coming over to her.
"Don't feel that way," said Nancy again trying to comfort her.
"Here," said Cynthia bringing a glass of wine, "drink this."
Dorothy struggled with the wine, tears streaming down her face. When she had finished she said:
"It isn't ... that I fe ... feel ... b ... bad it's ju ... just because I ... I'm so ha ... ha ... happy." And she started to weep afresh.
Here everyone seemed to realize what it was all about, and overjoyed they milled around her until striking some sort of order, they joined hands and danced around her as though they were a bunch of school kids playing ring-around-the-rosy.
Gerald started to chant, "We love Dorothy; we love Dorothy," and soon they all took up the words as they romped around her in high glee.
The weeping figure straightened her shoulders and raised her beautiful head. She smiled through her tears and coming over to the line tried to stop their motion and hug everybody at once.
This provoked a general melee, and when they wound up, they were mostly all on the couch tumbling about like children and yelling like wild Indians.
When all this subsided everyone fell to chattering at once laughing and gay.
"Hey," yelled Al, "when do we eat?"
This brought a pause in the hubbub, and there was a general exodus in the direction of the kitchen.
CHAPTER FIVE
"Gerald, why don't you admit that you love Nancy? I've seen it in your eyes when you look at her for days. Come now, 'fess up."
"You're right Doris," answered Gerald reluctantly. "You might as well know it. I've struggled and fought with myself but to no avail. I do love her. But I want you to know. I guess it will sound funny, but I love you too. I know it's absurd, but I love you so much it hurts, and I love Nancy just the same way."
"I've known all that for a long time, dear," said Doris crossing over and seating herself on his lap and giving him a kiss.
"B ... b ... but."
"But what?"
"I can't understand your taking it this way. You don't seem to care at all."
"But I do care," said Doris. "I care very much."
"B ... but aren't you jealous?" said Gerald confusedly.
"Do I have to be jealous to prove my love?" said Doris.
"No."
"Well then, that's settled."
"But you, do you love me just as much as ever?"
"Why certainly, silly boy. What do you expect me to do? Fly into a tantrum," said Doris. "No, Gerald I'm not that old-fashioned, and besides love, true love, is a very beautiful thing, and I'm happy for you, and I'm happy for her, and I'm happy for myself."
"And now," she continued, "you are going to go and tell her so. She's been eating her heart out for you. I know you've had her a few times downstairs, but that doesn't count. Fact of the matter is she and I have discussed the whole thing, and your fate is all settled. When you have told her you love her, you will bring her up here and we three will live together."
"But Doris...."
"No 'buts', " said that determined young person. "I love Nancy like a sister, and more. I love you both too much not to want to do this."
"What will Nancy say about it?"
"Go and find out," answered Doris, "we've been planning this for a week. All we needed was for you to declare something that we both knew long ago."
"Well, I'm damned," gasped Gerald.
"Quite the contrary, you're very much blessed." Gerald was too astonished for further words and he sat quietly contemplating the miracle of being in love with two adorable girls who loved him in return, who were not only not jealous, but thought the world and all of each other.
"It just doesn't happen," he muttered.
"It has happened," said Doris, "if you're talking about what I think you are. Now go along and don't act as though you had just been run over by a street car." She gave him a kiss.
Gerald left the room shaking his head. Now he knew what had happened which had made Doris say that she would not marry him, after she found out that he would marry her, and still take part in the club. He marveled at it all, but he strode down the hall to Nancy's apartment with a quick step.
Nancy met him at the door and he opened his arms to her. Nancy hesitated a moment, just a moment, and seeing his eyes gave a glad little cry and rushed to him.
"Oh Gerald, oh Gerald."
"Sweetheart, I can tell you now what I've wanted to tell you for ages. I love you dear. I love you."
For a long time after Gerald carried her to an arm chair and seated her on his lap, she rested her head against his shoulder, every now and then looking up at him with wonder in her eyes.
"You've talked with Doris?" he asked.
"Yes, dear."
"Do you feel just the same as she does about It?"
"Yes, dear."
"Do you want to live with us?"
"Yes, dear."
"Is that all you can say," he queried.
"No, dear."
Gerald laughed and held her close for a while caressing her brow and hair with his lips, then....
"Come, sweet. Let's go to Doris and receive her blessing."
* * *
They had talked together for some time, seated on Doris' couch, Gerald in the middle and the girls on either side.
He kissed Nancy, then he kissed Doris.
"My dears," he said, "It's very strange but," to Doris, "your kisses are sweeter for my having kissed Nancy and," to Nancy, "your kisses are all the more thrilling by contrast."
Both girls seemed well pleased with the whole arrangement and with their legs tucked up under them and their noses tucked into his neck, they both snuggled against him. He was at a loss to know which he loved the most and finally came to the conclusion that he adored both of them to distraction.
Nancy had not been entirely content, however, and with her hand in Gerald's lap she had started to investigate a slight movement which she had felt beneath the cloth a moment before. Sure enough there it was. What a long ridge it made in the left pants leg.
She raised her fingers to imitate legs walking and paced the length of it, nudging Doris in the back of the neck with the hand she had behind Gerald.
Doris glanced down and perceived the condition of things, and as always when she noticed that particular occurrence in Gerald, her heart would beat a little faster, her cheeks would flush delicately and her ever-hungry love-mouth would throb convulsively.
She winked at Nancy and before Gerald was well aware of what was happening they had attacked his tie and shirt and were proceeding to get him out of it.
"Let's celebrate," cried Doris giving him a kiss.
"Yes, let's," cried Nancy.
"Hey, give a fellow a chance, will you?" laughed Gerald, trying to act as though he were resisting.
At this they went for him in earnest, and soon Nancy was pulling off his shoes and socks while Doris, who had pulled off his undershirt, was unbuttoning his trousers and struggling to pull them from under his weight, Gerald refusing to raise up and let them slide off easily. When Nancy had finished her task, however, she solved the problem by rolling Gerald over on the couch, whereupon the trousers came off easily.
The girls were in high glee and made brief work of his shorts, almost tearing them off of him.
Gerald took part in the melee at this juncture, and with their help he soon had them both standing before him stark naked. Doris started to pour some wine.
Gerald pushed Nancy down on the couch and knelt before her, covering her breasts with kisses.
"Sweetheart, sweetheart," he murmured.
"Yes, dear," whispered Nancy, pressing his head against her bosom.
"I love you so," he said giving each pink nipple a gentle bite.
Here Doris returned and seated herself beside Nancy, and Gerald had to stop long enough to drink his wine. Doris put her arm around Nancy and lay back with her on the couch.
This voluptuous picture was too much for Gerald and setting his wine down unfinished, he went into action.
Kneeling before Nancy he spread her shapely limbs apart and kissed her along the inside of each velvety thigh. Nancy sighed.
Gerald divided the lips and sought out the center of her desires with his tongue and lips, sucking and tonguing the little clitoris which throbbed beneath his touch. Nancy put one arm around Doris and with her other hand she softly caressed the top of Gerald's head and raised one leg to lay it across his back and the other to where she could catch her heel in the crook of Doris' legs.
"Oh, oh," she sighed as thrills of pleasure ran up and down her spine, causing her to squirm in her delight. Doris gently caressed her breasts and at this sign of tenderness, Nancy kissed Doris hotly.
Gerald encircled Nancy's thigh's with his arms, and his restless tongue kept going in and out among the delicate folds of what he felt at this time to be the sweetest of all places to kiss.
Nancy moved her bottom in little sideways jerks in regular cadence, and when Gerald settled down to suck her clitoris steadily, she bounced up and down until with a gasping cry she came furiously.
Standing up, Gerald grabbed a heavy cover from off the back of the couch and lifting Nancy gently he deposited her on it. Doris followed.
Doris was quite beside herself at all this voluptuous display, and when she settled down by Gerald, she could not refrain from grasping him by the cock and giving him a kiss.
Without further ado Gerald mounted her. Nancy was just coming back to her right senses when Doris, in her favorite method, twined her legs around Gerald and hugged him fiercely, begging him to spend.
They lay breathless for some time and finally Gerald said, "Well, Doris, your club idea sure went over with a bang, didn't it?"
"Yes, it's been very successful," said Doris, "and better still it has brought happiness to many people."
"It sure has to me," averred Nancy, giving Gerald a kiss.
Gerald sighed happily and with a beautiful girl on either side of him to love him, he lay for some moments longer recuperating for the next round. He intended to reverse the process by first kissing Doris' little love nest and then proceeding to give Nancy what she seemed to already be longing for by the way she kept eyeing his tool to see if it had shown any signs of revival.
