The Reception (Incomplete)
	by Captain Atom

I was bored stiff. I was attending the reception for my old college
roommate's wedding, but none of our other college buddies were able to
make it. I knew no one there, and the people sitting at my table (family
friends of the bride, I believe) were as dull as a butter knife.

I was just making up my mind to leave when I was approached by a very
pretty girl. She seemed rather young; I took her to be about nineteen
years old. She had long straight dark blonde hair and lovely emerald
green eyes. The strapless dress she was wearing matched the color of her
eyes and hugged her thin 5'5" body nicely. She asked me if I'd like to
dance, and I agreed.

Just as we made it out on the dance floor, the music changed from fast
to slow. The girl took me into a 'friendly' slow dance position and we
moved across the floor. We exchanged some pleasant small talk. I learned
that her name was Amanda and that she was the younger cousin of the
bride.
