AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF JOE DOE'S STORIES
Listed in the Order of the Original Posting

                              by

                   C. Lakewood and Search'em

At the end of March 2008, I "concluded" a project that I had
officially begun 1 March 2004: to edit and post all of Joe
Doe's stories to date. I have made two semi-exceptions: #28
below, which was the first version of "A Drive for Humiliation"
(superseded by #35, Joe's expanded version) and #57, "War
Diary" (which I re-wrote with a change of venue as "War Diary,
73 B.C."). Otherwise, all existing story segments have been
done. (For those who are interested, I have also posted the
original "War Diary." Unfortunately, the original version of
"A Drive for Humiliation" must now be considered "lost.")

Another part of the project was to edit and post all the sequels
that Joe's stories inspired. Those are alluded to in the list
below, though I haven't counted them up. I have included some
of these sequels in this folder along with Joe's own stories --
but only the ones that are so well-written and that advance the
stories so materially that omitting them would have been unthinkable.
(In my opinion, the best of these are Arty's stories, listed as
"Waiting" I, III, IV, and V.)

No sooner, however, had I "finished" the project than Joe started
writing again. (See #177ff., below.)

All the stories below -- with one exception -- first appeared on
one of four groups: Strip-Searched (SS1), Strip Search Two (SS2),
Strip Search Three (SS3), or Strip-Search 4 (SS4). The exception,
#159, was initially posted elsewhere, on a now defunct site. Even
the approximate date is uncertain, but it was probably sometime in
2003.

half years, Joe sent me a batch of 15 stories. Some of these were
newly written, and some were unpublished ones from 2006 that he'd
thought he had lost. This is the first one posted from that group,
Part 1 appearing on SS3 10 September. Each of the entries below,
except for "Harsh Judgment" and "Tracy's Halloween with the Headmaster,"
was posted, one by one, on subsequent Fridays, thus reviving the
