nice..." she adds, before moving her hair forward, covering her breasts. 
"Hmm, yeah, this will work nicely.

   "Now all you two have to do is practice changing your walk and you're
good!" declares Alexandra happily.

   "So how should we work on that?" asks Terra.

   "I know." I answer, drawing their attention, before I walk further into
the living room.  "Alexandra, stand next to me and Terra, lift your dress
up a little and slowly walk towards me." I add, before Alexandra stands
next to me.

   "OK." replies Terra, pinching the side of her dress, lifting it and
slowly walking towards me as I comment...

   "See, the way you walk is not all that different." I state.  "You're
swinging your tendrils out as you move them forward." I add, before Terra
stops in front of me.  "Because of that, while wearing the dress, you'll
show more of your tendrils."

   "So, what your saying is..." starts Areil with a smile, still near the
mirror, before lifting her dress and slowly walking towards us, but more
'normally', not swinging her tendril out.

   Although, Ariel's slow pace and occasional stop to balance herself from,
to her, the odd manner of walking told that it was unfamiliar and strange.
However, she makes it to Terra's side with a satisfied smile.

   "We just have to focus on moving our tentacles straight ahead." adds
Areil.

   "Exactly." I answer with a smile.  "For your first time, that was pretty
darn good.  A little practice and you'll be walking like us just fine."

   "Heh, well it wasn't too difficult." answers Ariel rather proudly.

   "I wanna try!" quickly states Terra, before turning around and quickly
walking back to the mirror and turning to face us.

   With her dress still lifted, Terra attempts to copy her mother.  Having
a few false starts as she catches herself swinging her tendrils out on her
first steps before managing to successfully take a 'normal' step forward,
then a second.  At the third step, she looks towards us with a smile.

   "Heh, I'm doing IIIIIIIIIT!" states Terra before her first blind step
towards us results in her tripping over her own tendrils and I fail to
reach her in time before she fails face-first to the floor.

   "Hey, you ok!?" I quickly ask, kneeling down beside her.

   I reach to one of her hands to help her up, but she waves my hand away
as she lifts herself up.

   "I'm fine, I'm fine.  It's not like I can't take a fall." answers Terra,
before standing upright again and returning to where she started.  "OK,
let's try this again."

   "I'll practice with you." states Areil with a smile as she walks to
Terra's side.

   Terra doesn't comment, but I could see a small smile on her face from
the company.

   After just about four or five minutes, Terra and Areil manage to get
over the awkwardness of their new manner of walking and had become quite
good at it.  It was after the two stop holding up their dresses that the
effect was like night and day.

   "Whoa!" gasps Alexandra beside me as I also look on in surprise as the
two happily walk back and forth in front of us.  "If I didn't know you two
weren't human, I wouldn't think anything was different about you!" adds
Alexandra.

   "Same here." I comment.  "Your tendrils aren't even showing."

   Terra giggles before commenting, "I dunno why, but I feel like I
accomplished something awesome."

   "Oh!" gasps Alexandra, before picking up the large hats and offering
them to Terra and Ariel.  "Let's complete the look!"

   The mother and daughter take the hats and put them on and almost
immediately, both, Alexandra and I look on in amazement and comment "Wow."
at the same time.

   The goal was to make them look like a normal human and that goal
succeeded greatly, Terra in particular, I comment without even thinking...

   "Terra, you look very cute."

   "Really?" she asks, with a big smile and blush.

   I hear Alexandra beside me comment how beautiful Ariel looked, but most
of my focus was on Terra, who turns to face the mirror.

   "Hehe, the hat goes good with the dress.  I really do look like a human
now, heh, I kinda wish I was human, just for today." comments Terra, before
turning around with a smile.

   "Well your just fine the way you are." I state.

   "Thanks."

   "Well then!" starts Alexandra happily, standing beside Areil.  "You
think you two are confident enough to go out on our dates!?"

   "Well..." replies Areil, with a smile.  "Do you two really think we
could pass for humans?"

   "Absolutely!" declares Alexandra.

   "Well the walking was the biggest concern and you guys fixed that
problem fine, so I think you could pass as human." I state.

   "Ok then." comments Areil, before looking to Terra and asking, "Well, do
you want to go?"

   "Sure, if they think we're fine, then I'll trust them."

   "Well then, you have our trust." states Ariel.

   "Awesome!" declares Alexandra.  "This is gonna be great!  All you two
need is sunscreen lotion and we're good to go!"
