-A new story about a man who has to go back home for an uncle's funeral and learns that sometimes you can go home again (about 75%-80% complete -- about 2000 words so far)
-Something different for me, a story with a light BDSM air to it. She likes being controlled, and he likes controlling. (about 80% complete -- 2200 words so far)
-Jake Lucas 5,6,7: No tentative titles yet (you KNOW how much I hate titles) but Jake's adventures will continue. (various stages of completion, none more than 25% complete)
-An ex-con heads west looking for his last chance for a normal life...before he meets her, then everything is far from normal (about 50% complete -- 14000 words, this will be a long one)
-Set in the early 1980s: Teens spending their summer vacation at home on Cape Cod have some interesting experinces (about 50% complete -- 7500 words) author's note: this isn't autobiographical...really it isn't....honest!
-There are a couple of others, but
these are the ones closest to completion...hopefully I can get some of
these finished in the next few weeks/months...try to bear with me, thanks

To my faithful fans and readers: I've gotten many emails over the past year asking about new stories and when I was going to get around to adding more to the Jake Lucas series, or when other stories were going to be forthcoming. I apologize for at least not updating this page to explain my absence. The truth of the matter is that I've been sick for the past year. Last year about this time (shortly after I published Summer Awakenings) I had to go to the hospital for a serious operation. Without getting into details, in the aftermath of the operation, the doctors found that what they took out of me also had some serious consequences. So for the last year I've been in and out of the hospital for treatment and tests several times. Suffice it to say that my concentration was not on smut writing, to say the least. I tried on a few occassions -- when I was feeling somewhat ok -- to write, but my thoughts always seemed scattered. I was never really able to concentrate on my writing and what little I would write during that time would be essentially, upon rereading it, a boatload of crap. I realize this is only smut writing, but I've taken pride in the smut I write and I didn't feel that I could publish anything that wasn't up to my standards. I still have ideas rummaging around in my fertile, perverted imagination and I'm getting close to the point at which I think I'll be able to get them down on paper (metaphorically) and turn the ideas into coherent sentences and paragraphs. I haven't set a time table for when anything will be published (or even finished, for that matter) but the fact that I'm thinking about writing indicates to me that I'm fairly close. So, for those of you who have waited for the next Jake Lucas story, or one of my romantic love stories, I offer you the promise that soon, I will be writing again. What direction that writing will take, we'll see. I never know the finished product until it's actaully finished. Who knows what my lessons of the past year have done to my way of thinking and how any of my experiences may change my writing style -- if at all. Hopefully, whatever I do write will be greeted with the same level of enjoyment and appreciation as in the past, but that remains to be seen. I can only write and you can read it, if you choose to. Hopefully you'll like it...hell, hopefully I'll like it too.
